La verdad que no veo un cambio importante en la velocidad de
carga, incluso
en la sección contactos tarda bastante más y
supongo que debe ser por la
carga del editor de texto, que en realidad: me parece
innecesario para quien
sólo desea enviar un mensaje.
El error que te comentaba (el de javascript), sigue
apareciendo en la carga
del sitio, luego desaparece.
Después me apareció el siguiente error, que supongo
debe ser porque aún no
desarrollaste esa parte, ya que habla de no encontrar un
documento, ¿no?

Critica constructiva al foro

Hola gente, bueno muchas gracias es algo así que estaba buscando, no es exacto, pero seguiré en averiguaciones, quiero hacer unas "pequeñas" aclaraciones:
1- Se que no es un "efecto", solo quería, en buena fé, un entendimiento mejor, lo mas claro posible.
2- No puedo leer con "atención", porque no me da las horas del día, entro a trabajar a las 06:30 - 13:30 en una imprenta y a las 14:00 - 20:30 en una agencia de publicidad, dentro de ese espacio, tengo muchas cosas que hacer, soy maquetador de revistas y utilizo años en PageMaker y he tenido que aprender a utilizar el INDESIGN, que la verdad es una maravilla y quisiera aprender cosas mas avanzadas de illustrator, pero no puedo, además la palabra "atención" está demasiado, no soy un "pendejo de 10 años", ni mi madre me dice eso y eso me ofende un poco (y creo que a ti tampoco) y lo digo en una buena, ademas si es un foro y estoy enviando una consulta es porque no se !!, creo que ese es el objetivo, sino para que existe el foro, si tengo un manual y no encuentro lo que busco, voy al foro, como el 90% de las dudas, en ese aspecto creo que muchos de ustedes, como "saben" bastante, piensan que lo demas tienen que saber igual, en ese aspecto me parecen que se perdieron y necesitarían un brújola para ubicarse a donde estan parados.
3- No puedo cambiar el sistema de trabajo de una agencia de publicidad de años en el medio en mi pais (uruguay), siendo que la mayoria de mis compañeros solo utilizan el corel y esta agencia no se hizo grande ni por corel ni adobe, sino por el excelente trabajo que realizamos todos, que es lo que importa.
4- Un mal que he visto tanto en el foro de adobe, como de corel es la rivalidad, a mi, ninguna de las empresas me pagan extra por defenderlas, me fascina los productos de adobe, y me encantaria poder utilizar todos, incluyendo Illustrator, pero como Corel, ambos tienen sus defectos y virtudes, no me creo inteligente por utilizar "un" programa, tampoco me gusta encerrarme en un programa, pudiendo ampliar mis horizontes, admás mi "escasa" experiencia me ha enseñado a saber aplicar elementos de un programa al otro, de hacer "trampas" y que el resultado es bueno.
5- Se que mi respuesta va a "molestar" a muchos de ustedes, porque piensan que yo estoy mal, yo no creo que estoy ni bien ni mal, sinceramente me gusta el foro y gracias a él he aprendido muchas cosas que uno no se da cuenta.
Una de las cosas al entrar al foro es como mejorarlo, yo me dedicaria en un punto nada mas, si la persona entra al foro, es porque necesita ayuda, evacuar dudas, buscar solución, o mejor "una mano lava la otra", pero como me ha sucedido a mi, por decir "POWER CLIP" o que utilizo COREL, es como haber ofendido al foro o a sus usuarios y la verdad eso me desmotiva mucho en consultar algo y que le pasa a mucha gente, eso no es una manera de convencer a utilizar productos adobe, como me ha pasado con corel, que por hacer un pregunta comparativa con illustrator me "tiraron piedra" y eso no los hacen mejor al programa, sino peor a las personas que en lugar de ayudar, te ahogan, parece la politica o un equipo de futbol, no creo que estamos para eso, yo no estoy para eso, no se ustedes!!!!.
PD.: voy a colocar este mensaje en todos los foros, pudiendo tener el apoyo de mas personas.

En ningun momento nadie busca ofenderte o minimizarte, a mi humilde parecer, tan solo que en mi caso no se que es un POWER CLIP, y es cierto, no uso COREL, en un momento cuando vi tu mensaje en el foro no lo respondi ya que pensaba que power clip se trataba de algun efecto raro de power point :) . Nadie te dice que cambies tu sistema de trabajo en mi caso yo no uso Indesing, nos mantenemos fiel a Quark, como en tu caso prefieren utilizar COREL, y es muy cierto lo que dices que el programa no hace al diseñador y mucho menos lo hace un computador.
Pero hasta donde yo se estos son foros de discusion, y aveces la forma de escribir de uno puede molestar a alguien, pero en mi caso si he molestado u ofendido a alguien, estoy dispuesto a ofrecerle mis excusas, y si fue en ese caso es algo totalmente sin intencion de ofender, deben recordar que aqui viene mucha gente de diversos paises y de distintas culturas, lo que puede resultar gracioso para un venezolano, puede ser de mal gusto para un español, o simplemente una tonteria para un chileno, asi que la clave es la tolerancia y tomarse una cerveza. Para mi lo importante es que se cree una comunidad con diversas opiniones acerca de un mismo tema "pluralidad".
En mi caso me han dicho policia, amargado, sabelotodo, pero me tiene sin cuidado, creo q le he dado la mano a gente en aprietos, mucho mas de los que me han calificado.
De verdad Victor, no creo que te haya ofendido diciendo que no sabia lo que era un power clip, y revise lo que escribio Juan S y Juan V, y no vi nada que resultara de mal gusto por lo menos para molestarse.
Aunque no lo crean la metodologia es importante, fijense un caso de un tema abierto en el foro de Photoshop

como yo puedo ayudar al usuario si no se que es lo que le esta sucediendo en realidad, no puedo ayudar, si no se si es un error del photoshop, es un error de su software, o un error de ambos. Recuerden que esto es como la medicina, hay que conocer todo para poder dar una opinion coherente y que pueda ayudar a resolver el problema.
Por mucho tiempo casi siempre hemos sido los mismos, ahora ha crecido son cuatro años peleando para que este foro aumente, tan solo les digo que es bueno ver a mas gente dando sus opiniones.
Me confieso que soy un "computer nerds", que me gusta MAC pues si!!! ;)
"parece la politica o un equipo de futbol"... bueno mi trabajo lo hago con demasiada pasión y es la misma pasión que tienen los fánaticos del fútbol o la política, todos tenemos opinones y es de sabios respetarla, y más sabio es confrontar de una forma inteligente aquellas opiniones que estan equivocadas o fuera de lugar.
Asi que bienvenidos, Víctor y Alvaro, para mi lo importante es que cuando vaya a España, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, o USA, tenga unos amigos con los cuales tomarme una cerveza o ver un concierto...

noseee.... la veo media vacia... no te voy a criticar el ajax
porque no
tengo ni idea de lo que es... pero a nivel diseño yo le
podria un poco mas
de información... no queda 100% entendido si yo varon
tengo que ir a "el" o
a "ella"... porque esos titulos no se si indican que yo
soy... o si yo
busco... ¿se entiende?
Y por otro lado, las imagenes están muy feas, no se
porque le pusiste a todo
256 colores... para las fotos utilizá JPG con compresion
de photoshop a
70%(desde el asistente para exportar imagenes para web)...
esto te lo digo
porque los bordes de las imagenes estan cortadas como "con
los dientes"
jeje...
Los colores no me disgustan pero no se que mas decirte hasta
que le vea mas
información al sitio...

Comparte tus fondos de escritorio

Bueno, ya que este es el foro "otros temas" (me imagino que valdrá también cómo offtopic), propongo este hilo para que los que usamos photoshop compartamos nuestros fondos de escritorio o creaciones varias hechas con photoshop, para que se vea que resultados da y para compartir impresiones, consejos, sugerencias ect, siempre puede ser didáctico y aumentar la participación :-D
Os pongo aquí unos cuantos de mi cosecha. Cómo veréis están bastante personalizados porque están adaptados a la estructura de mi escritorio, por lo que siempre hay un espacio de 60px técnicamente "pensado para no verse" en la parte de abajo, y la imagen principal siempre está a la izquierda.
Se admiten críticas pero no seáis demasiado duros conmigo que soy muy sensible y me deprimo X-DDDDD

Te felicito por tu iniciativa, desde hace tiempo he creido q ue hace falta ponerle un poco de picante a las cosas, y una de esas es que los demas usuarios den "criticas constructivas" de nuestros trabajos, eso lo hacen mucho en el foro de diseño en ingles.
Bueno por el tipo de trabajo debes ser una persona bastante joven!!!, yo estoy suscrito a otro foro en Venezuela donde la gran mayoria de los trabajos que los usuarios hacen son firmas para los foros y correo electronico. Sabes cuando inicie mi carrera como "freelance" para matar el tiempo en el cual no tenia trabajo, trabaje mucho haciendo "vectorizaciones de anime japones" en Illustrator, me ayudo mucho a soltar la mano y si me fajo aun puedo hacer una que otra ilustracion. Veo que todo son composiciones de imagenes, me gusto la ultima pero soy de los que siempre les gusta que todo tenga el mismo estilo, te das cuenta que la imagen del personaje difiere en estilo de los edificios, a mi gusto hubiera quedado bien que todo fuera lineal. Pero tienes en este wallpaper un buen uso de las degradaciones.
El primero me parecio muy simple en realidad creo que se puede hacer algo con mas malicia. Waoooo que buena la imagen del dragon, pero creo que podias dar un toque mas japones a la ilustracion.
Y la penultima son bien buenos los colores. pero las ilustraciones no tienen el mismo estilo.
Bueno sigue practicando, la practica hace al maestro, mientras mas te dediques a trabajar seras un mejor profesional.

Por otro lado mas técnico, pero sin olvidar que soy el

de utilizar
imágenes de lo que es el sitio... si es un diseño
para una joyería no podés
poner imágenes de ejemplo con indios, vaqueros o una
foto de la ciudad...
primero, porque queda mal, segundo... porque no nos podemos
imaginar de que
es el sitio... y en realidad es esto lo que mas interesa de
un sitio: que
los colores, las imágenes utilizadas, y las

Critical Error while saving a workbook as local spreadsheet

Hello,
We have recently upgraded from BW 3.5 to BI 7.0 and users are intermittently experiencing problems when trying to save a BI workbook as a local spreadsheet file. Sometimes when they try several times eventually they are able to save it other times they are unable to. It does not seem to be memory related or related to the size of the data from the queries in the workbook.
The message they receive is: A critical program error has occured. The program will now terminate. Please refer to the trace for furthur information.
Any help would be appreciated.

We've reached out to the Hotmail team and they've determined that this is a bug in their code. (It was masked by a timing issue in 3.5 that was fixed in 3.6.) We've worked with them to develop a fix but they may not have deployed it yet.

What are the critical points to validate whether the client uses PP or not?

We are woking for a project which involves more than 80 SAP instances (80 clients), and with in the same instance we have more than one country (e.g: client 100 may have 5 countries india, srilanka, bangaladesh, china and singapore). Now our challenge is to validate which are the countries using SAP PP Shop floor control activities (Creation of Production orders, settlement etc...). Please list the critical points against which we can validate. Hope my question is clear. Any clarification required please reply to this thread. Expecting quick response from the experts. Thank you.

How do I get back my bookmarks and history which disappeared after downloading critical Windows Updates?

On 10/16/14 I downloaded 11 critical Windows Updates (I have the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Pro).
All updates ran successfully, but after the updates, Firefox would not run. Instead I got the error “Couldn’t Load XPCOM”. Internet Explorer was working. I reinstalled Firefox . I did not delete it and then reinstall it, I just downloaded Firefox.
That worked and I can now use Firefox, but I have several other problems:
• I lost all my Bookmarks
• I lost some of my History. I can only view history for “Today” and “Yesterday” in the Library. I am missing “Last 7 days” (except for 10/16 and later) and “This Month” history view.
I have been trying to research how to fix this on my own for the past several days, even though I am very non-tech savy.
I tried the following, but none of these things has corrected the bookmarks or history problem:
• I did a System Restore to 10/13/14
• I tried to do a System Restore to 10/12/14. I got the error “Did not complete successfully. Unspecified error 0x8000ffff”.
• I reset Firefox to its default state.
• I tried to change the Privacy setting for Firefox history from “Remember History” to “Use custom setting for history” followed by checking “Remember my browsing and download history”, “Remember search and form history”, and “Accept cookies from site”. I am unable to change this. It always reverts back to “Remember History”.
I located only one Profile Manager, which I found by going through the Windows start menu with "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" –p.
I found "bookmarkbackups" under my Profile Folder. The oldest bookmark folder listed is from 10/16/2014.
Could someone please help me get all my Bookmarks and History back from before the 10/16/2014 updates? Thank you.

Hi askmozilla, yes, the Previous Versions tab in the Properties dialog for the places.sqlite files in the oldest of those folders.
I'm not sure whether Windows can match that file up with earlier restore points once the folder is moved from its original location to the desktop.
I wonder whether there is any way to access the restore point created on 10/16 just before Windows installed the updates. That really would be the best place to look if possible.

When I open ANY web page and do File, "Save Page As", the window that is supposed to open to locate the folder where I want to save this web page does NOT open at all, even if I wait a long time to see if it opens.

When I use Google Images, for instance entering model in the search field of Google Images and then pressing enter.

I have no idea if you will be able to reproduce these two critical BUGS but I can assure you that they are not present when I use Firefox 26 and they are present when I use Firefox 27, 28, and 29. More, be aware that I have at least 100 tabs opened but I also have this same number of tabs opened in Firefox 26 and yet I do not experience these two critical bugs when I have Firefox 26!
Once again, these two bugs touch at two vital, critical very basic functions of Firefox and therefore I will NOT be able to use any version above 26 if these two bugs are still present, as they are present in Firefox 27, 28, and now 29!!!

I am still reading it again to try to figure out exactly what the person did to make his problems be solved, as the post is not clear at all on what solved the problems!
In any case, all the suggestions proposed in this post do not work and I surely cannot do a system restore when it is obvious that the two bugs do not appear in Internet Explorer.

First, I sent an email to the author of PhotoME to inform him of the serious issues his addon caused with Firefox latest versions.
Now, for those of you who do not have the PhotoME addon and yet experience the same problem that I had and that I described above, I suggest the following strategy.
As PhotoME did cause these problems with Firefox latest versions, I am pretty covinved other addons probably might cause these problems too. Therefore, adopt the following method.
Test one addon at a time to see if this particular addon is behind your Firefox issues like the ones I had.
So, disable one addon only at a time. Then close your Firefox and restart it from scratch and see if you still have your Firefox problems. You must restart the Firefox browser from scratch. If you still have these Firefox problems, re-enable the disabled addon, restart your Firefox (again!) and repeat the same method for every single addon that you have.
Try to be selective by choosing first addons that are more likely to cause your Firefox problems such as not very well-known or not very popular addons (like it was the case for the PhotoME addon).
If this method works or if it does not work, report it on this web page so that others can be helped with your comments.
I hope this method will help you because I was really upset that I had these Firefox problems and I first thought it was the fault of Firefox, only to discover later that this PhotoME addon was the culprit and had caused me such upset.

I also tried to check the Performance Viewer for the MSExchange Search Indexer and MXExchange Search Indices but am unsure which of the many metrics would indicate this issue.
We have had no reports of search issues from our users and have been unable to duplicate any impairment in our testing.
Does anyone else have any suggestions for tests to check or steps to take on this alert? Is it simply a false alarm or a timeout of other sorts during testing? We have 80 DAGs on this server (as well as all our servers, some of which have also reported the
same alert) and the Test-ExchangeSearch command times out before completely testing all DAGs.
