OT - editing on an iPad

I want to take an iPad on a trip and be able to edit some short vacation videos on it. The two apps I'm looking at are iMovie and Avid. Just curious to hear if any Premiere users are using either of these apps and what you think about them.

This the first video I shot and edited on a mobile device: "The Creators Project." Shot on an iPhone 4S, and edited in iMovie for iPhone. It was pretty cool editing at the bus stop. The interface does take some getting used to, though.
I suggest you do a test before the vacation. You'll be happy you did. The advantage of editing with the iPad is that you'd have more storage. I had to be very conservative when shooting this little test project.
I could not get the full 1080p video output unless I brought it into iMovie on my desktop, then FCP. Finally, I XML'd From FCP into Premire Pro for the string out and to AME for the output. If anyone knows of an easier way, let me know!

I have an IPad Air 2, iOS 8.1.2. I ordered some ebooks that required the download of Adobe Digital Editions. I select the supplied link to the Adobe site, select download, and I am given the option of windows or Mac OS. I wandered through the site and even googled an iOS version with no luck. I thought maybe the Mac OS version might be universal to apple products so I downloaded it and tried to open it in One Note, One Drive, and Google My Drive with no luck. The .dmg file is not recognized. So, I'm back to looking for an iOS version. Is there one?

You can find an iPad version of Adobe Digital Editions in the app store on the iPad. I was able to download it and install it tonight. I followed the instructions in the included User's Guide to copy a book that I had first downloaded to my Mac over to DropBox. From the DropBox app on the iPad, I opened the book with ADE successfully. You might also look at the BlueFire reader; I've seen that recommended a number of places. I was just able to open the same book from DropBox in BlueFire. For both ADE and BlueFire, you will have to authorize your iPad to Adobe with an Adobe ID and pw. Good luck.

Editing photos in the Photos app is not supported on the first gen iPad - and didn't exist prior to iOS 5.

Documents edited on the Mac need manually uloading to iCloud at iCloud.com,documents edited on the mobile devices are updated automatically.

You might need to first deactivate Acrobat from the Help menu on your old machine.
Then, you can download Acrobat X Pro from the below mentioned link and activate the software (from Help menu) with the same serial key:
Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | DC, XI, X
Please note that you can activate and run Acrobat software on maximum two machines (say your desktop at work and laptop at home)
In order to use it on third machine, you need to first deactivate it from any of the old computers.

I work for a organisation based in Sydney and we have a team license for creative cloud (single edition).
We have been producing single folio apps for the iPad and want to continue this through 2015.
At the moment we can only create apps for the iPad platform. If we upgrade to a Professional Edition DPS license can we create an unlimited number of Single edition apps for iPad, iPhone and Android devices?
We do not need multi-folio apps as we are not a publishing company.

How do you mean? the yahoo app? or accessing via safari? or using the mail app?
Using the mail app there is no way to sign out of mail accounts. The presumption is that the iPad is a single user device, so no need to sign out.

I also looked into editing the photo in iPad ,and I agree with the previous reader the t it luck the pixel level control. The only thing it good for is just a quick color correction and some sort of easy editing. My other concern is that, even if iPad is terrific tool to see a photos , there is no way to categorize, rate or sort them without using the big brother MAC! why? I can't get it why can't I star's rate the photo?
