OTC & P2P similarity

Hello all,
The Order to Cash process and the Pay to Purchase process seem very similar to me, but from two different perspectives, sales and distr. and purchasing organization respectively. Is the data replicated from one process as a blueprint to the other and if so isnt this data repitition?

Hello David,
That's true that O2C and P2P are very similar process but both are just opposite to each other. One process is for outflow and another is inflow. The data used in both processes are very different but supports to each other.
Hope this helps.

Arif Mansuri

  • Report a bug, if this problem is not solved, p2p of rtmfp will not be of much use

Recently, we have several clients on a p2p application, but we use the development version to test, two-way voice and video connection is not successful, several customers of the network environment is as follows:
    First of all, there is no firewall;
These networks have in common is:
After an optical access, the subnet with a lot of routers, one by one, and some series, some parallel, some in series and then parallel, and some in parallel then in series, in short, they can be online, and then not the same segment of the computer, p2p connection is not successful, and other computer connection is not successful, and some also use the vpn.
Analogy: 192.168.5.10 and 192.168.10.10 to connect not, 192.168.5.10 and 192.168.5.11 is ok, is 192.168.5.10 may be outside the network of other computers can connect to, but 192.168.10.10 possible and other computers outside the network connections are not.
Hope you solve this problem as soon as possible, because rtmfp too expensive, otherwise p2p applications, are generally large companies (schools, government) affordable, and their networks are very complex, they do not take, you will no client .
My English is not very good, google translation
    I gave you a bug report so long, how did not care for me ah;
    This forum nobody, or you did not test this bug, you do not have time to correct this bug;
Either we modify not the flash player platform to the bottom of things, I will not give you advice.
In fact, standing on a technical point of view to think that I have is to use a socket network communication can be OK, network barrier, it is not.
But would like the user's perspective, I can be normal to the Internet, other p2p communications software, I can, on this thing, impossible, it is this software not work, so that this bug is that we must solve the .
I am very concerned about this issue every day and came to see nobody replies, I think this problem, I think, to solve this problem, you can proceed in two ways:
    1.dns
I think it may be able to solve this problem, dynamic dns,
The idea is: to allow users to connect to the server, the user computer first upd listener (that is, iis services), then farid + domain to form a secondary domain name server dynamically to resolve the domain name to the user's computer, in a timely manner to refresh dns.
In this way, the user's computer, there is a fixed identity.
    2 gateway
From users within the LAN to solve this problem, it can only proceed from the gateway.
For example, to use arp and other means to get to the router, where each segment ip then ip, similar to the route command to specify more than one gateway to the user's computer may be able to solve this problem.
In theory, these two methods may be feasible.
We also expect a new solution, I do not know Daoxing not
Speak before this program, take a look at our test for RTMFP p2p network topology, and the test results (explain, test, do not open the firewall and router are not set up static routing).
    Computer A, computer B - "router A -" server S
    The above NetConnection.Connect.Success 95% NetStream.Connect.Success 5% NetStream.Connect.Fail
    Computer A - "Router A - servers S" - routers B - Computer B
    Above, NetConnection.Connect.Success, NetStream.Connect.Success
    Computer A - "Router A - servers S" - router B - routers C - Computer B
    Above, NetConnection.Connect.Success, 50% NetStream.Connect.Success 50% NetStream.Connect.Fail
    (Computer A - Router A, computer B) - router B - server S
    Above NetConnection.Connect.Success, 100% NetStream.Connect.Fail
    Computer A - "Router A -" router B - server S "- Router C" - router D "- computer B
    Above NetConnection.Connect.Success, 100% NetStream.Connect.Fail
    Computer A - "Router A -" Router B - "Router C -" server S "- Router D" - Router E "- computer B
    Above NetConnection.Connect.Success, 100% NetStream.Connect.Fail
See the above test results, is not very bad, the key is FMS4.5 sell 450,000 RMB in China, their own software does not do a good job, but also to sell such a high price in China, a man named QQ. The above test environment, all 100% NetConnection.Connect.Success 100% NetStream.Connect.Success, free, QQ has more than 100 million users, QQ companies rely on advertising to make money game.
    Seems to digress, huh, huh.
The test results, 100% NetConnection.Connect.Success, and NetStream.Connect.Fail the main reason is because the route connected in series or more than two or two and then caused.
From a technical perspective, as a packet travels through a number of the NAT router default all packets can be out, new packets can not be into the second layer of the router caused.
Find the reason, we think of a countermeasure to solve this problem from the software itself.
The last case of the above test environment, for example:
When computer A and server S NetConnection.Connect.Success computer B with the server the S NetConnection.Connect.Success, computer A to Router D sends an upd packets, not because the router can only broadcast the data packet to computer B, so 100 % NetStream.Connect.Fail.
The 100% NetConnection.Connect.Success, if we can NetStream.Connect, and NetConnection.Connect connected together, is not can be 100% NetStream.Connect.Success?
In other words, no matter what circumstances, computer A and computer B can and server S connection is successful, the other way round, that is, the server S and the Computer A or Computer B can connect.
We can not let the computer A or computer B, pretending to server S (In theory, called NAT, technically speaking, is to modify the source ip of the packet header and source Mac server S, and parity), the router not in the NAT, and other communications.

    Hi Mr. Wog,
My guess is that once you see an estimate for replacement for hundreds of dollars, those scratches won't look too bad anymore. There are products to cover the outer casing, and some people put stickers on, or even paint (I don't recommend either, but ymmv). Good luck.

  • Making P2P Video Chat with FMS

Hi, I'm trying to make a P2P video chat application with Flash Builder 4.5 and Flash Media Server 4.5.
First, I've tried a simple sample application using Cirrus(Stratus). It worked very well!
NetConnection -> NetGroup -> 2 NetStreams -> netstream play and publish -> last, netgroup post
    The sample was all OK.
But now, I've changed the server url to my flash media development server.
    rtmfp://p2p.rtmfp.net/XXXXXXXXXXXXXX -> rtmfp://my-fms/application
Here is my application trace log about NetStatusEvent:
    [object NetConnection] NetConnection.Connect.Success
    [object NetConnection] NetGroup.Connect.Success
    [object NetStream] NetStream.Play.Reset
    [object NetStream] NetStream.Play.Start
    [object NetStream] NetStream.Publish.Start
    [object NetConnection] NetStream.Connect.Success
    [object NetConnection] NetStream.Connect.Success
I couldn't get events about NetGroup and NetStream any more!!!!
When using Stratus, It worked well...
I am not familiar with FMS.. did I skip something in FMS setting?

    Hi,
    Thanks for trying RTMFP.
When you made your own application on the development server, did you make any server side scripting on this application or is this a blank application ? The point here is that, for P2P, the Cirrus server has a server script that takes care of bootstrapping one client to the other, which in your case (after moving to your server) is not happening. You need to probably add the scripting for bootstrapping one client to the other.
The following resources can help :

I think I have a similar problem. I am using FMS 4.0 and I can't receive any NetGroup event except NetGroup.Connect.Success. There is no events as NetGroup.Neighbor.Connect or NetGroup.Posting.Notify. I made a discussion (http://forums.adobe.com/message/4429330#4429330) and one of the Adobe employees wrote that I don't need to write any bootstrapping (any server side code):
    Chandan_Abhishek worte:
You don't have to implement any server side code. Just keep a blank app on the server and make two client side apps.
Can please someone explain, do I have to write any server side code or not? Do I have to bootstrap clients or not?

  • Order to Cash (OTC)

    Hi
I am confused the difference between normal sales to Billing process and Order to cash (OTC) process. Google also resulted different type of explanations, so decided to post this basic questions, I hope moderators don't make any objection ..
    1. What is the difference between OTC and Normal SD-Delivery-PGI- Billing process.
    2. What is the process steps involved in OTC.
    3. What are the document types & item categories involved in OTC.
Appreciated if you could answer with some screen shot.
    thank you
    MM

    Hi MM,
As you know order to billing is the standard sales order processing like
order - delivery - billing & release to FI.
    similar, in order to cash.
whenever customer place the order. based on shipping conditions system will generate the delivery document against this sales order. then pick-packing- goods issue will be done.
to create billing, will take order ref, instead delivery ref. the complete process known as "CASH SALES" process. after creating billing will release to FI. Then the value store in Cash account, instead revenues account like in standard sales order process.
For this we need determine cash account in config.
if you observe the Cash sale billing doc ( BV) type, you will find account key- EVV, which determines cash account to post the cash sales billing values in cash account.
You will get other side of answers too.
Hope it helps you to understand the difference between two processes.

  • P2P process with WM activated

    Hi All,
Can you tell me what are the T-codes that i need to use in my P2P cycle if WM is activated.
After PO i do GR, do i have to use any other transaction before or after GR if WM is activated, similarly during Goods Issue do i have to use any other WM transaction.
    Awaiting your reply.
    Thanks,
    Regards
    Raghavendra

    Hello,
    If WM is activated the process flow go as follows;
    For Goods Reciept:
Purchase order creation: (ME21N)>> Inbound delivery creation (VL31N OR VL10B)>> Transfer order may be created automatically or manually, if transfer order creation is automatic then WMTA output type needs to be set in transcation NACE for application tpe E1- Inound delivery.
Once inbound delivery is created you can create transfer order manually also.
Go to VL32N enter inbound deivery number, now to go to subsequent function and create transfer order and save.
Now to confirm the transfer order created go to LT12 ,enter the TO number and warehouse number and save it.
Now do the post goods reciept , with VL32N transaction.
    For Goods Issue:
    Sales order created (VA01)
    Outbound delivery (VL01N OR VL10A)
Tranfer order creation: (Go to VL02N enter the delivery enter and got to subsequent function and create transfer order and save.
Confirm the transfer order (LT12 Go to Tranfer order in menu bar and press Confirm To)
Now do the post gooods issue (VL02N , press PGI tab)

  • Configure fms like p2p server ?

Configure fms like p2p server ?

    Iccsi,
Yes. Hostname under 'Testing Server' is the testing server's hostname - in your case, since you're using CF, it has to be the path at which CF runs at. It will be localhost:8888 or something similar - depending on what port you configured for the webroot while installing CF. You could check it in CF Dashboard. Or, you could start CF server, open your browser, enter localhost. If the default CF webpage loads, it is just localhost. If not, add the port number.
The remote server is your actual webserver. It may be http://www.somesite.com or if you're running it in a separate folder within your main site, it will be http://www.somesite.com/test - depends on where you want to upload the working files remotely.
The full directory under local configuration is the place where your files reside on your local system. Again, if you're using CF, you might as well use CF webroot to create/ store files - this way, you don't have to make duplicate copies of the files in 2 places since you're configuring the same folder as your Testing Server too.

  • RTP300 FW 3.1.27 - Turning NAT/FW OFF to bypass NAT P2P problems

    Hi,
I am using VoIP router RTP300 FW 3.1.27 from my ISPfo IP telephony.
I have only 1 PC behind.
First I tried DMZ mode, until get familiar with port forwarding.
Then I turned DMZ off, forwarding ports.
I have NAT feature ON, having protection of its builtin firewall.
Using P2P ( especially emule suffers ), there occurs NAT table long expiration issues, getting applications into troubles. So do connecting by UltraVNC from outside. router need to be restarted 1-2 times per day, if emule is running.
uTorrent and StrongDC are not so critical.  Emule uses many UDP stateless connections that probably leads NAT table into troubles.
I tried turn NAT/FW OFF, rebooted the router and  I lost connectivity.
Later I had idea if NAT is OFF, maybe it is like DMZ + transparent mode and does not translate IP to/from LAN 192.168.15.x range.
Even if I tried to set my PC to my WAN public IP, i did not help.
There was msg about IP conflict - router was obviously keeping WAN IP for itself.
Well, I did not change port forwarding table, thinking it will be ignored, similarly as in DMZ mode.
What I am  doing wrong or how to set router and PC properly ?
Should it be bot DMZ and NAT OFF ?

    i am afraid that not.
I have no problems to get connected, ports are forwarded well for emule, utorrent and Strong DC too.
NAT is IMHO active  in both DMZ and PortForwarding modes in general, otherwise local lan would not work well.
The problem is , mentioned more times on more places, that some routers have long expiration for TCP connections in wait to close state and for stateless UDP.  It is said up to 5 days.
After some time running P2P with kademlia UDP network NAT table said to have about 2048 items gets exhausted and become difficult for new connection to get a place there.
Some users say they need to reboot router 1-3 times day.I myseld have similar at least daily reboot experiency. After router reboot things go well again.
I thought turning NAT OFF , having the only PC, would help.

  • WRT54G v8 dies under heavy p2p

My new WRT54G v8 has been dying consistently under heavy p2p use. My friend and I often use p2p file sharing and bittorrent clients.
One of us at a time seem to be able to use it with p2p apps, but once more than one of us start searching/downloading, the router dies.
    After it dies:
    - local network connectivity remains connected for PCs with static IPs
    - DHCP will not release/renew for other machines.
    - internet connectivity dies for all machines though the modem remains connected to the service provider.
    - the web interface for the router becomes inaccessible.
All machines are wired. We are not using wireless yet Wireless is enabled, but password secured. Nobody outside my home is sharing it.
We can limit the number of connections for bittorrent, but other p2p apps are unable to limit the number of inbound/outbound connections.
I find a large number of similar complaints on other forums, and there is no open-source firmware or new linksys firmware update available for the v8 yet.
Anyone had luck adjusting settings on the V8 to avoid these problems?

You could setup those computers on P2P for the QoS option on the router. Just simply get the ports of the P2P applications, fill them in on the QoS, then set them to low. That way the router will prioritize normal web applications vs P2P applications.

  • Recording RTMFP P2P stream by sending simultaneous stream to FMS (and other things...)

Only just getting started on this whole domain of learning, so go easy!
If I set up a P2P video/audio chat (similar to the sample VideoPhone thing on the Cirrus site), can I get the stream from both parties to send to a server at the same time so that I can record it? If so, would I have to use a FMS to stream it to and perform the recording (and if so which version could I get away with)? Are there any (preferably free, or just tutorialised) solutions for the recording side of things?
Currently it seems like the only option for doing the P2P thing is to use Stratus/Cirrus unless I use FMS4 Enterprise. Is that correct?
Is there any example code out there that can help? Has anyone got any experience of how effective this kind of situation can be, in terms of quality of the stream and recording? Does any of this make sense?
The Enterprise version of FMS is "Call for price": can anyone give me ball-park figures?
Would appreciate any advice or pointers on these very general questions.

can I get the stream from both parties to send to a server at the same time so that I can record it?
I really do not know how one can do that - it would be like creating separate stream to server and replicating same data which you send to peer and i do not know how useful it would be - again it will increase the load on server which we are trying to avoid using P2P
If so, would I have to use a FMS to stream it to and perform the recording (and if so which version could I get away with)?
I think above answer takes care of this. I am not expert on P2P - so someone can correct me if i am completely off
Are there any (preferably free, or just tutorialised) solutions for the recording side of things?
Not something i am aware off.
Currently it seems like the only option for doing the P2P thing is to use Stratus/Cirrus unless I use FMS4 Enterprise. Is that correct?
Yes - as of now only FMS4 Enterprise edition supports P2P

When on a p2p group chat push notifications do not work, tested on ios 8/9. I have a similar cloud based group chat and notifications are working correctly. This is an urgent bug that needs to be fixed.

    Hi,
This is known and since we are working to move away from P2P group this won't be fixed. The client will wake up in regular intervalls to check for updates in P2P group chats, but that's it. Check the group chat notification settings to enable it for the chat you want.

  • P2P downloads stopped working?

For some reason my WD Cloud Mirror is working well, latest fware installed, but the past two days P2P Downloads has stopped working. I have no downloads in progress but if I try to add a new torrent file using Click To Upload File the P2P Downloads Queue now remains empty whereas before it would show the file has been added with progress status. Similarly the p2p folders remain empty. * Can anyone point to a solution to P2P Downloads fix please?

OK- I think I may have fixed it myself. By simply clicking the P2P on/off button from on (where I have had it set nearly all the time) to off, then on again - there appeared an old torrent download status as downing but I had finished that a long time ago. I therefore deleted it and then tried a new torrent and it works again. Therefore there must have been something from previous torrent that held up the app but could not be seen until I did the on/off and on trick. Solved.

  • Howto block p2p traffic of clients connected to the same ssid on different wlc

    Hi all,
I use two wlc 4400 (4.2.x version) with a mobility domain and one ssid, both wlc are connected to a cisco l2 switch infrastructure. On the wlc I use the p2p blocking action 'drop' (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/controller/5.2/configuration/guide/c52wlan.html#wp1209597) to isolate the clients from each other. Does anybody know if only unicast traffic is blocked or also multicast and broadcast traffic like arp requests?
Concerning blocking p2p traffic of clients connected to the same ssid but different controllers I found the following statement in the LAP FAQs (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps430/products_qanda_item09186a00806a4da3.shtml):
    ===
    Q. In autonomous APs, Public Secure Packet Forwarding (PSPF) is used to avoid client devices associated to this AP from inadvertently sharing files with other client devices on the wireless network. Is there any equivalent feature in Lightweight APs?
    A. The feature or the mode that performs the similar function of PSPF in lightweight architecture is called peer-to-peer blocking mode. Peer-to-peer blocking mode is actually available with the controllers that manage the LAP. If this mode is disabled on the controller (which is the default setting), it allows the wireless clients to communicate with each other through the controller. If the mode is enabled, it blocks the communication between clients through the controller. It only works among the APs that have joined to the same controller. When enabled, this mode does not block wireless clients terminated on one controller from the ability to get to wireless clients terminated on a different controller, even in the same mobility group.

Does anybody know what's the best practise to prevent this inter wlc client traffic? I already read about using acls on the wlc dynamic interfaces, or private vlans on the l2 switch vlans where the dynamic interfaces are connected to. Is it allowed to completely isolate the wlc from each other on these dynamic interfaces with acls or private vlans or do the wlc need to see each other on this interfaces (e.g. heart beat)?
    Many thanks in advance,
    Thorsten

    Hi Sasha,Thorsten
The bug is Junked and I believe which is what you are running into with your tests:
    CSCtr60787    WLC P2P Blocking Set to Forward-UpStream Doesn't Work.
    Bugtoolkit : http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/action.do?hdnAction=searchBugs
To answer your original query :
ACL is only solution to block client communication on same ssid between 2 wlcs. 5508 works better with ACLs then 44xx platform.
ARP requests will be forwarded to upstream router just like any other traffic. WLC won't proxy arp for clients on same vlan.
Gateway arp's I believe should be handled by WLC . ( Don't quote me on this but I am pretty sure it is ) ..If it was not, then how would client know about gw ?
Multicast traffic is not applicable for p2p.
Your ACL can be as simple as this for the scenario :
    WLC 1 - clientvlan = 10
    WLC 2 - clientvlan = 10
and you want to restrict users from wlc1-wlc1, wlc1-wlc2, wlc2-wlc2 for same vlan10.
Basically in that case the ACL should look like on both WLCs :
    1. Permit statement to talk to gateway.
    2. Deny to subnet.
    3. Permit all.
    4. If DHCP/DNS other services are on same subnet then you would need to add a permit
    statement before the deny.
    5. Attach the ACL to SSID or dymanic interface.
    Thanks..Salil

  • JINI and p2p architecture

    Hi
I am reading this excellent JINI guide (http://jan.netcomp.monash.edu.au/java/jini/tutorial/Jini.xml) but I have some doubts about my problem: I have to do a P2P architecture (not client-server), do you know any good resource to gather some ideas from?
    Thank you

    Yeah: Everywhere.
JINI is not a client-server environment, but is service-orientated. Every node is both a client and a server, i.e. a 'peer' - thus JINI is a P2P platform.
JINI is mostly for service-discovery and scaling for mobile agents.
What you choose to do will be based on what your project will do. P2P platforms are very different from eachother even though they use similar transport and communications protocols.
