OTG problem in Lenovo A7000

I am facing problem on otg since past. OTG doesn't work properly especially with mouse and also keyboard. Also Lenovo A7000 has not update the 5.1.1 lollipop.

i have rooted my phone can you please let me explain how can i do this...& how to install cwm recovery..

Contact Manager Problem Lenovo A7000

I have already mentioned this in other discussion thread but was never got noticed by lenovo staff. So once again for your kind infirmation I am explaining about this issue. After the s142 update any new contact added under the Google account is not getting synced to google servers though in setting-> accounts-> google accounts its always showing synced recently but changes don't get updated on the server. This is another serious issue in s142 update. Pls don't let it unnoticed. My humble request to lenovo staff is to kindly look into this matter . At least acknowledge this issue. I don't know how else I can bring this issue to your notice. People will loose each and every contacts added after this update.
PS: Issue exist even after factory reset.

Lenovo a7000 internet speed problem

3g services r just not wrkng on lenovo a7000..da intrntt speed is similar to 1g..it NVR catches 3g..BT wen I insert da same Sim in difrnt phones..da speed is awesum..pls fix is as fast as possible

Lenovo a7000 Games installation Problem

Hello Team !!! I am using lenovo a7000. When I install apps like modern combat 5 , it says " The package duplicate permission null ". Please help me with this. But the same app is installing for other android users. Thank you......!!!!

No it's not for all games it's for those which are present in the secure zone ie even if you uninstall the pre-installed games still it's present in secure zone because of which when u install from those games from somewhere else it shows permission null Solution u have to install it from play storeRe:ajphoenix wrote:

Lenovo A7000 - move to SD card option not featuring

Hello,
I have bought a new Lenovo A7000 and i am facing the gollowing problems,
1) app cannot be moved to the SD card ----option only not showing in the app info
2) in file manager you can see the external storage but in installed VLC player you cannot see the External storage or the SD card contents
3) in the setting--storage SD card contents is not showings in levels
for all the three points i have posted the the images pls check and rectify the problem

I'm facing the same problem with my lenovo A7000....Whichever app I'm downloading from playstore, it's getting saved in internal storage (not is SD)
I tried with multile SD cards (4Gb,16Gb), no go!
Could you please fix this bug and update the same to us ASAP with the help of your engineering team..
1 more issue which I have is:

Lenovo a7000-a Data connection disabled automatically & issue on social networking

I hv Lenovo A7000-a with latest firmware upgrade but I can't connect data in 2g Vodafone India(Bhubaneswar). I can't use WhatsApp,fb,twitter and other applications in 2g network.I can't sent messages even don't receive messages in WhatsApp, fb,twitter & some other apps like taht..sometime data connection disabled automatically. I can't connect with other phone hotspot using wlan but some of phone can connect me with my hotspot.... This problem persists in my phone in xender,share it and wlan sharing with my friends... Why this happened that I don't know but I know that from which time I last est update the new system version I am facing this problem.

Hi friends , i do have Lenovo a7000 . since the 1st update i am facing a severe problem of messaging apps lagging and taking too much time to open the messaging app . I found out the Issue of this problem that since they introduced star marke near the name of the thread this problem started and since then this problem persists . so if any one if still facing this issue please do tell me . and lenovo JAMEZ Please provide a solution to this issue as it takes to much time to open banking secure sms which gives us very less time to enter authentication code. Lenovo team please remove that Star near messaging thread nad please help us out as now a days all the banks do send authentication codes with a limited time to enter it. so James and lenovo team please resolve the isse ASAP . and I request other users who have same problem to post here so that we can know how many people are affected.

Today 26.06.2015 ( Lenovo a7000_S141_ROW ) New Update Received For Lenovo a7000, Update Size 24.88mb. update said bugs fix & stability improvement let's see what changes we notice. please request you guys give your feedbacks after update.

Nothing fixed. Before I update I'm playing dead trigger 2 smoothly, but now
after update little bit lag, more heat, n I feel my battery drained faster

Strange problem with Lenovo S650

I have an interesting problem with Lenovo S650.
If it stay in 2G/3G mode - it connect and work in 3G network well. But if I put "only 3G" mode, it don't connect to the 3G network.
I changed SIM-cards, modems, firmware, mobile operators - Nothing change.
What is the problem? Thank you.

Because your network needs both 2G and 3G to establish an internet connection. When the signal is low ,3G is favored/preferred (WCDMA Preferred or Auto )...but that uses more power. Don't actually need 3G all the time.
This isn't the root of your problem ...Actually isn't a problem at all .
Now can you tell me your firmware build number(Settings>About phone.. ) ?
Did you had this problem from day 1?
Did you get the phone from China and flashed the ROW firmware yourself? Got the firmware from some Russian forum and changed some regional code at the first boot...by any chance?
Beside flashing different baseband modems, have made other alterations (Like changing engineering mode settings... )

Regarding lenovo A7000

In spite of my repeated and several correspondence Lenovo hasn't heard any of my requests. Kindly help me as I am in trouble. Please provide me the Factory Firmware of Lenovo A-7000 as soon as possible as my phone is not booting and I need to flash it. I found the source Code of Lenovo A700 from lenovo Support website but this is just the Source Code not the Factory firmware ( Stock ROM)
I would request Lenovo to kindly consider my case sympathetically and provide me the factory firmware of Lenovo A7000.
I have been posted to very remote area in Assam, It's not possbile for to go to Guwahati City and visit the Customer Service Centre as it is 400 KMS away from my place of posting and takes almost a day ( 14 hours) to reach by Bus and during rainy season the roads are very worn out.
Please I beg of yours kindly to provide me the Factory Firmware/ Stock Rom of my device.

I have a lenovo A7000 phone , last week I was facing an WiFi connection issues and now after update it get fixed,but in the mean time I reset my phone with Data factory restore ! and now my phone rear camera is getting wrost ! even it says 8 mp camera but its capturing a shoot like Vga camera ..how bad to look my pictures now ,before it works good ..how come !
and how can I go back to old update to fix the IOS CAMERA AND OTA ISSUES AFTER RESSTING TO FACTORY DATA RESET , The previous update was lossed ! and turns in to the old camera ..

Try a different USB cable, try a different USB port and if that fails reboot the computer. Also try
Resetting the phone
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost).

If you have the Atheros AR9485 Wireless Adapter, can you try this driver:
Drivers for Atheros AR9485 and Windows 8
Version: 10.0.0.234
OS: Windows 8 32/64bit
File: win8-10.0.0.234-whql.zip
Alternativey, does the issue happens also if you boot into Safe Mode with Networking? (if you get a stable good download then it's possible that a security software is interferring with the wireless connection).
Edit:
Using the Dink Wireless AC1200 Dual Band USB Adapter will definitely improve the performance (you may need to set it to 2.4Ghz if you only have a single band router)
