"Other" appearing on iphone 3G
All of a sudden there seems to be 3 Gig of "Other" on my summary page on itunes. This is now only leaving me with 500mb of storage left, Can anyone help me please?
how are you rebooting the phone? Just want to make sure you're doing it right. I forgot to add, reboot your computer too. I saw a post someone else had this problem and they just rebooted and it went away.

My Outlook/iCloud calendar invites to others appear to work on my end and sync with my PC and mobile, but when other people "accept" the invite, it will not populate/add in to their calendar. How can I fix this without turning off iCloud?
I am at a new office that uses Outlook (not Outlook Exchange) which does not sync with my mobile... I just got iCloud set up on my PC to sync my contacts, calendar, reminders, etc... The sync worked (not without flaws, but the other issues seem solvable... I think), so that i can now see all my appointments on both my phone and on my PC. The problem I am having is that iCloud moved all of my calendar items from Outlook into iCloud calendar and now when I send out meeting/calendar invites the recipients may accept them, but the meeting does not get added to their calendar. This is a huge problem and may mean that i need to turn off iCloud.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks!I am replying to my own post here as I seem to have fixed the problem.
I do have some calendars that are shared. Some of those are shared with users who have time zone support turned on. So i activated time zone support on my iphone, then deleted my icloud subscription. I then signed in to icloud again and voila... problem solved.
It is a weird one as the other calendar views were always fine and when you opened an event that appeared in the wrong day (on list view), the correct date of the event was shown in the information...
one more bug in a complicated system I guess -
my iPhone 5 won't sync even i restored. it always appeared "The iPhone could not be synced because the sync session failed to start.

Thank you, razmee209! I must have checked everything 1,000,000 times, but when I just rechecked settings - notification - mail, I now see that Alerts -- both Show in Notification Center and Show on Lock Screen -- were turned off. Can't believe I missed that, so THANK YOU!

Can get the AirPlay to work off my computer, but not my iPhone or iPad. I have the latest software. Airplay logo never appears on iPhone or iPad.

You will need Mac OS 10.5.8 or later in order to get itunes 10.5 or later, in order to connect your iphone. -
I hit Forget Network and now cannot get back onto my wireless home network. All of my other computers and iphones are fine. How do I get the network back? It shows in my list of networks but when I use the password and try to join it says not connected.
See if the iPad will accept the password after you restart it. It's worth a try.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
You could also try a reset as well.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -

Events do not appear on iPhone from Ical
Events have stopped appearing on iPhone when entered on iCal, but do appear on iCal from iPhone. What has changed - I have not changed settings.
I have been having an issue with iCloud for several months. I add events to my iPhone5 which do not appear in the iCloud, or propogate to my MacBook and iPad.

You can't resolve the issue. Your phone is bricked.
This is the error message that happens when you try and update a jailbroken phone.

Why does the new photo app not allow all the photos on my iMac to appear on iPhone and iPad?

New Photo App has over 9000 photos but only 180 or so appear on iPhone and iPad. Why. I have sufficient iCloud storage.How did you import the photos?
Are the missing photos perhaps referenced? Then they cannot upload to iCloud.
You can check with a smart album, if you have any photos in the library, that cannot upload to iCloud. -
I backed up my iphone5 in the morning and later again on the same day, in the afternoon. I then restored an older backup from the morning. Now all my music files refuse to play even though they still appear on iphone. How can I resolve this?
Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)
LibreOffice (a new direction for the Open Office suite.) -

Are you looking at the tabs on the right-hand side of iTunes when you've connected and selected your device on the left-hand side of iTunes ? i.e. it should be one of the tabs that you use to chose what content to sync to the device : syncing photos
