Other folder on new iPad is 10gb?

The other folder on my new iPad is 10gb and I can't reduce it in size? I do not even know what files these are? Any help would be appreciated as space is limited already.

Usually when the "Other" space is that large it is cause by a bad sync which causes some media files to be not properly recognized. When it happens a new copy of the media files is transferred and the corrupted files are not deleted from the device. The only real fix is to Restore the iPad using iTunes. Restore will erase all media files so all recent purchases should be transferred to the computer first. The back up files do not contain media or app files, only settings and other data.
Restore the iPad by clicking the Restore button on the iPad's Summary page in iTunes. Once it has downloaded the restore file it will ask if you want to restore your settings from a back up which you will choose your iPad's back up. This will ensure a clean re-install of the iPad's software. Right clicking the iPad in iTunes and choosing Restore will simply restore the settings and not the iPad's iOS which cleans it out.

Bulk mail folder on new ipad

My new ipad has a folder under Mail called "Bulk Mail." I clicked on this and saw several emails that I hadn't rec'd on my Macbook. What does Bulk Mail mean, and why are these emails on my ipad but not on my Macbook? The emails are from a friend, and we had been talking about my not receiving them on my computer. Yet, here they are on my ipad. What gives?

My email acct on my Macbook does not have a Bulk Mail folder. That's why I was unfamiliar with the term.
I will see what I can do with the spam filters on my Macbook's Mail. As I recall, though, you first have to receive an email before you can label it Not Junk. I'm not even receiving my friend's emails on the Macbook, and I don't want to have to check both the Macbook and the ipad to make sure I haven't missed anything.

New "Purchased on..." folder for new ipad

Is there any way to consolidate the purchase folders?
I have 2 now for ipad purchases... if I add a folder for each new apple product, I will soon be filling the whole column, won't I? I tried dragging the purchased item from the old ipad folder to the new, but that would not work.

The purchased on... playlists are just smart playlists of items you import from your devices. The items are also included in your music or video libraries. I normally delete the purchased on... playlists since they serve no useful purpose for me. Deleting the playlist does not delete the purchases from your library.

Is there any news about the other version of new iPad 4G?

I really want to use 4G or 3G version of iPad in my city(Hong Kong).
But it seems that Apple do not want to launch any 4G or 3G version of iPad.
I hate wifi version !

You will just have to wait for Apple to announce availability, no one on here knows their plans. All we can do is be patient.

Viewing angle (with no colour shift) on new iPad much narrower than older iPads

I just got a new iPad yesterday and the new display's resolution is magical!! I am unfortunately experiencing the yellow tinted screen that others are, but I'm hopeful this will improve over a short time as any glues involved perhaps dry. I THINK perhaps it's already improved though this could be my imagination, hard to tell. It's also clear on a totally black screen that it fails to go as dark as my iPad 2, which itself failed to go as dark as my iPad 1. Still, that resolution, spectacular...
I am however also experiencing a very narrow viewing angle, especially in the vertical direction, it's the most worse when held in normal portrait orientation with the cameras at the top, if I tilt the top of the iPad away from me then the entire screen colour shifts to yellow quite strongly within about 10 degrees or so. I'll shoot some video of it at some point compared to the iPad 2. I wonder if the colour yellow could be linked to the general yellow tint that can be seen on whites even in perfectly straight viewing. But I also wonder if the new retina display just has a much narrower viewing angle without colour shift compared to the older iPads.
Would love to hear how other people's new iPad screens are performing in this regard. Are they all shifting as they're tilting, especially in that vertical tilt I described?

When I open the iCloud control panel, I cannot turn on the photos. That option is ghosted. I'm running on Windows 7 with iCloud 3.0. Any ideas on how I can fix this? All help is appreciated! Thanks!

If you have Numbers installed on your iPad, first go to System Preferences -> iCloud, and make sure that iCloud Drive is enabled.
If so, open a Finder window and choose iCloud Drive in the left sidebar, so you will see a Numbers folder. Just open it and put your Numbers documents there, so they will be synced between your iMac and your iPad (providing that you already have Numbers on your Mac).

Unfortunately, the Client ID display does not always work correctly on all devices.
Soon, you may notice that other items that were previously displayed with the Client ID may now display just as an IP address......and your new iPad may "switch" from the previous IP address display to the Client ID display.
Then, things may change around again in a week or two. It's a bug that hopefully Apple will fix on the next firmware update.

Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.

Actually, you can create additional mailboxes directly on the iPad. I have done it in 3 differemt IMAP accounts. But you do have to have IMAP email. However as stated above, this is not a function of the mail app.
If you had an IMAP email account, any additional mailboxes that you already had set up would have synced to the iPad and you would see them in your email account in the Mail app.
if you want to see for yourself..... If you go to your email account in the Mail app and look at the window where your inbox, trash folder and sent folder are - if there is an Edit button at the top of the window - tap that and then tap Add Mailbox at the bottom.
If the Edit button is not there - you cannot create folders on the iPad. Your email account is not IMAP.
