Other languages for oracle routing engine?

Hello,
I'm sorry if this is not the right place to post my question, but i wasn't able to find a special forum about routing.
In our application, we'd like to use the oracle routing engine for navigation. As people from different nations use our application, we'd like to supply appropriate languages for most of them.
The supported languages we know of are english, french, german, italian and spanish.
For our customer we need languages like polish, Czech, and - most important - russian.
Does anybody know whether these languages exist or if there is a possibility of installing something like a language pack for the routing engine?
thanks,
JoAl

The Router currently does not have an option for Polish, Czech or Russian. It is possible for for these languages to be included but they would be included in a later version of the Router.
The first step is to know exactly what languages you would like included. If we have the translation services to translate the driving directions to those languages we will include them in a future version of the Router.

  • Proposal to extend dialer functionality (english and other language for T9 search in dialer)

    Hello.
    Here is a proposal to extend functionality of dialer.
    In current version T9 dialer language is set to english (always) + some other language (optional ONLY IF menu's language is different fron english).
    For example.
    Menu language - english, dialer T9 - english.
    Menu language - russian, dialer T9 - english + russian,
    Please add possibility to choose language for T9 dialer with menu's language set to english. It is usual option to other dialers.
    I want to use english language for phone, but i need both english and russian for T9 dialer.
    You need just to add option to dialer's preferences to add T9 language independently to menu's language.
    Can you do it in further updates?
    Thanks.

    There is no settings for this as standard in the phone.
    I will pass your feedback on internally.
    For more information about language specific questions I suggest that you contact your local support:

  • Other language for Wiki and blog?

    The subject pretty much says it all. Is there a way to change the language of the menues in the wiki and blog? If not it´s pretty useless features for a large percent of Leopard Server buyers.

    The wiki and blog are displayed in the system language of the client. In other words, if you're operating Safari from a German system, the software will display in German.

  • Other language for AIR / mysql

    I use remote mysql to store the data that users input through
    my AIR application. It works fine as long as what they input is
    English. But if they input non-English (say Chinese), the stored
    data is unrecognizable -- even if the data is downloaded to and
    displayed in the same AIR application.
    My mysql uses utf-8.
    Is there anyway to fix this problem? Maybe convert the data
    strings to UTF8 before inserting into database?
    Many thanks.

    I think I find a solution. The solution is not on
    actionscript part but on the server side (php). I used amfphp to do
    mysql database operations and when I set
    setCharsetHandler("utf8_decode","UTF-8","UTF-8");
    everything works.

  • Change language for router setup page

    Hello Lynksys im using older model and havent gotten around to buying a new wireless router, i was wondering is i do decide to get a newer model will my site be in english. currently i have the site in german and it will not for the love of my life translate to english?( i am in United States should my site be in german when i put in the default IP address?) Could this have been a problem in installment?

    Hi! There are actually two ways on how to change the language for your router. It's either thru the setup cd or going thru the link where you can change it. If you're going to use the cd, you will have to run it again and you should be presented with an option to change the language. If you don't have it anymore, you may just go to http://192.168.1.1/language.htm, it should let you change the language. Found that on this link: http://homecommunity.cisco.com/t5/Wireless-Routers/Change-Language-Pack/td-p/3119.

  • Routing engine problems: partition_id AND frequent exceptions in responses

    Hi.
    I want to use Oracle routing engine with Oracle Spatial 10gR2 for Europe.
    I have tables NODE, EDGE, SIGN_POST and PARTITION populated okay with data from a data vendor.
    I have 600000 edges and 415000 nodes. 128 partitions were generated by
    using: exec SDO_ROUTER_PARTITION.partition_router('NODE_PART', 4000);
    Two issues occur to me:
    1. select num_nodes from partition where partition_id = 0; returns 390 nodes, but neither in table node nor edge are records with partition_id = 0, which is as I have learned the Highway Partition. Does that make sense?
    2. Route requests sometimes return correct results, but more frequently routing engine exceptions:
    Most popular are:
    - Route not found between destination/source node and highway network!
    - mbrAwareAStarSearch could not find a route!
    What might be wrong?
    I also experience both problems with the NAVTEQ example data for San Francisco extracted from sf_routing.zip.
    Below find requests leading to exceptions indicated using NAVTEQ example data extracted from sf_routing.zip in order to make the described reproducable:
    1. Route not found between destination/source node and highway network!:
    <?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>
    <route_request id="8"
    route_preference="shortest"
    road_preference="highway"
    return_driving_directions="false"
    distance_unit="km"
    time_unit="hour"
         return_route_geometry="true"
    pre_geocoded_locations="true">
    <start_location>
    <pre_geocoded_location id="1">
    <edge_id>-37847628</edge_id>
    <percent>.5</percent>
    <side>L</side>
    </pre_geocoded_location>
    </start_location>
    <end_location>
    <pre_geocoded_location id="2">
    <edge_id>-37846969</edge_id>
    <percent>.5</percent>
    <side>R</side>
    </pre_geocoded_location>
    </end_location>
    </route_request>
    2. - mbrAwareAStarSearch could not find a route!
    <?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>
    <route_request id="8"
    route_preference="shortest"
    road_preference="highway"
    return_driving_directions="false"
    distance_unit="km"
    time_unit="hour"
         return_route_geometry="true"
    pre_geocoded_locations="true">
    <start_location>
    <pre_geocoded_location id="1">
    <edge_id>-37827163</edge_id>
    <percent>.5</percent>
    <side>R</side>
    </pre_geocoded_location>
    </start_location>
    <end_location>
    <pre_geocoded_location id="2">
    <edge_id>-37847628</edge_id>
    <percent>.5</percent>
    <side>R</side>
    </pre_geocoded_location>
    </end_location>
    </route_request>

    The highway partition, partition zero, is "logical" idea. That is it only exists in the partition table. Each node and edge in the data belongs to a partition that it shares with other nodes or edges in the same physical area. This physical relationship is shown in the partition ids stored in the edge and node tables. Once these partitions are figured out each edge is looked at to see if it's a highway edge, that is, it has a func_class of 1 or 2. Once this is done these edges have their start and end nodes classified as highway nodes and those are considered to be in partition zero also.
    I've run into the MBR error you're seeing in my testing and have been looking into it. Forgive my poor analogy, but there appear to be "holes" in the highway system. If one has a major artery, say interstate 95 coming out of FL, all routes between FL and VA are going to want to use that major artery. If there was a "hole" in interstate 95, a section that was not classified as a highway section thus not in partition 0, those routes would be dropped as unusable. If all the routes get dropped in this way you get the mbrAwareAStarSearch error.
    I haven't seen the other error but I'll use your example and have a look into it.

  • Oracle routing and partitioning; is it necessary

    We are testing oracle 10g, and I would like to start using the routing capability provided by Oracle. I've loaded the test routing example provided, and have noticed that one of the spatial tables is partitioned. Is this a requirement? We don't have the partitioning agreement with Oracle, so if it is required for Oracle routing to work properly then I would not be able to use this. Does anyone know the answer to this? Thanks.

    You don't need Oracle Partitioning option to use the Routing engine.
    Which table is partitioned ?
    In the Routing engine we use logical partitioning of the network, but it does not use the Partitioning Option of the Database.

  • Routing engine download

    Where I can download the Oracle Routing Engine?
    I've search on the following link:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/spatial/index.html
    but there is no more reference to the Routing Engine.
    Thanks

    The result of the query:
    SELECT COMP_ID, COMP_NAME, version, STATUS
    FROM DBA_REGISTRY
    WHERE COMP_NAME = 'Spatial';
    is:
    COMP_ID COMP_NAME VERSION STATUS
    SDO Spatial 10.2.0.1.0 VALID

  • Lyrics in other languages?

    My Ipod Touch has no problem displaying lyrics in English. However, in other languages, it's not displaying right. Any thoughts? I don't think it supports other languages for displaying lyrics.

    1) Copy the lyrics from your source.
    2) Paste into the lyrics tab of the song(s) when you get info on a song.
    3) Sync your Touch.
    4) Play the song in portrait mode - not cover flow.
    5) Tap the screen once and the lyrics should super-impose on the screen.

  • Issue with .profile for oracle 9i and 10g

    Here I have six oracle 9i databases on one box. I am going to upgrade five of them to oracle 10g and want to keep one database RCAT in oracle 9i for one or two week.
    So, when I do upgrade I have to setup oracle home for 10g and also profile for oracle user for 10g (correct me if I m wrong). But now I want one database RCAT on oracle 9i. How can I take care of this.
    I mean how I will handle profile and all other thing for oracle 9i and 10g at the same time.
    Thanks,
    Vishal

    Install 10g under the same OS user as 9i, of course on a different Oracle Home. Then you configure your .profile consequently. Just as an example, this is my .bash_profile with 10g and 11g with the same oracle OS user :
    [oracle@linux5 ~]$ cat .bash_profile
    # .bash_profile
    # Get the aliases and functions
    if [ -f ~/.bashrc ]; then
            . ~/.bashrc

  • Effect of modification in other language

    hi experts,
    I am coping zmedruck from medruck in all languages with original languge as DE.
    If i do some changes in zmedruck with org. language as DE.
    <b>my ques. is whether these changes will be reflected when i open zmedruck in EN.</b>
    </b>
    KINDLY respond.
    with regards.

    Hello,
    Any object has an original language, this is the language you create text elements etc. in. ALL other languages for that object come in through translation only. The translated languages are delivered by SAP as well.
    However if you copy an object to a Z-object and maintain texts etc. in your Z-object in the original language it will NOT be available in the other languages until you translate them.
    e.g. You have a text element in DE (Beleg) and translated into EN (Document). If you change the original language to (etwas anderes) the EN text would still show as (Document) unless you translate the text element form DE into EN.
    The same applies for a creation of a new element, if you create in in DE that will be the only text available until you translate it into e.g. EN.
    Hope that helps,
    Michael

  • Cannot read mails written in other languages but english

    Hi guys, I have this serious problem about writing and reading mails in other languages, for example, Japanese. I have tried both Hotmail in Safari and also Mail application. I think that it might be after the latest upgrade of Mac OS X. Is anybody facing the same problem? Advices needed. Thank you.

    Hi guys, I have this serious problem about writing
    and reading mails in other languages, for example,
    Japanese. I have tried both Hotmail in Safari and
    also Mail application.
    Could you provide more details about your specific problems? For example, can you not compose in Japanese, or is the problem that it does not come out right at the other end? As for reading, what are you seeing? Have you tried setting the encoding to one of the Japanese options in Message > Text Encoding for Mail or View > Text Encoding for Safari? For webmail, have you tried FireFox? Safari will not work with some systems.

  • Can not deploy Oracle Spatial Routing Engine on Oracle Weblogic

    I posted my question with Oracle Support, however they directed me to the oracle forums. I am hoping this problem can be resolved here. In any event I am getting the following stack trace (shown below). I am using Spatial Version 11.2.0.1.0, Map Viewer 11.1.1.5.1, and WebLogic 10.3.5.0, and data-set provided by Pro Oracle Spatial for Oracle Database 11g - Apress boos. If the estimated distance between source and destination nodes is
    less than this value, in miles, then keep local roads a viable
    option. This is done as an optimization for short routes.
    Increasing this value beyond the 25 mile default may generate more
    accurate routes using local roads but can also decrease the Routers
    performance by increasing size of the soluion set to be searched.
    Decreasing this value, the minimum allowed value is 10, can increase
    Router performance by decreasing the size of the solution set to be
    searched. However, this may cause the Router to abandon viable local
    routes and produce nonoptimal short routes.
