    Hi Venkat,
    According to the error message, I guess that the error occurred when you previewed the report in Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS).
    Based on my research, I think it may be a Window Layout issue of Visual Studio. Please try the steps below:
    Click “Window” button from the toolbar ribbon.
    Click “Reset Windows Layout” option.
    Click “Yes” to finish the operation.

  • Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

    Hi there, I'm having a weird issue when I try to connect to my DB server from the machine in which is located.
    I am using SSMS to connect to the DB. When i use the name of the sql server, I can connect without issues, but when I replace the name with an IP address and a port, i always get this error:

    Dear Sudarshan:
    (1) I am already getting rid of missing values
    (2) Currently using Jungles model.  I just tried with random forests and got the same result though with a different error message (see below).  However with Neural and Logistic regression (multiclass) it works.
    Also please note that I reduced the number of features from 250 to just 5 and still getting this issue.
    The error message is now different:

  • System.AccessViolationException Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. when executing compiled query

    Hi,
    In our company we have a very large application that has thousands of compiled queries, and we've been getting randomly AccessViolation exceptions randomly that crashes our process.
    This error happens randomly in several locations, always with the same top stack trace (data and queries are always different). do you know what could be causing this issue? or what we can do to trace the problem?,
    I have collected memory dumps of the error to get the stack trace and next are the stack lines that always show at the top of it:

  • Error: Attempted to read or write protected memory. Memory is corrupt

    2005A SP1 PL4
    I have added a user field with B1 in Items with success.
    Therefore I have started the addon and I have the following error at  SAPbouiCOM.SboGuiApiClass.Connect(String ConnectionStr):
    "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt"
    I have restart B1, and I have restart the PC, but the problem persist.
    Before I added user field, the addon worked
    Now if I open items system form, the user field not exists , not even I press CtrlShiftU
    It seems that the user fields are not record correctly
    Now I re-add a new second user field in items. Now there are all user fields in system form Items, but i have the same error with my addon.
    This is the second company that occorr this problem
    Is this a 2005A SP1 PL4 problem? Must I convert the company to 2005A SP1 PL11? Or are there other solution?
    Help me
    Thank you

    I would strongly recommend to go up to PL11 - and then re-check the issue.
    If it still doesn't work:
    The minimum information to provide here would be the definition of the UDF! Since UFDs work in general there must be some issue with your specific UDF (or some combination of settings).
    Check table CUFD + the actual definition of the UDF in the SQL table as well.
    ...or just involve SAP Support...

  • 2 questions; how to erase "other memory" on iphone 5 and how to sync to a new computer

    Apple support is failing to help my issues so I thought its best to turn to the community. OK so I've talked to Apple before about my "other memory" and I performed a soft reset on my phone and it decreased other memory by maybe a gig. A month later now its higher than it was before at over 5.6 gigs, any way how to make it as little as possible?
    Also I just got a new macbook pro and I use to sync my iphone 5 to my macbook (2008), how do I make my macbook pro my primary itunes and still keep all my info on my phone? My new macbook pro itunes says its backed up, but when I plug it in it won't sync any new songs or app data to my itunes, etc.
    Any help with these issues will much be appreciated!!

    "Other" is all of the data for all of the built in apps. If you delete its contents all of your built in app data will disappear. Some of what is contained in other:
    email messages and attachments
    Reminders
    Calendar entries
    Contacts
    Text messages
    MMS messages and attachments
    Genius data
    Music cover art
    Operating system settings
    Safari cache
    bookmarks
    Game Center status
    Music catalog
    Probably a few I've missed. There was a problem in an earlier version where deleted MMS messages left behind their attachments, but that has been fixed as of 6.1. Some people suggest deleting your music on the phone. DON'T DO IT! The reason that deleting music recovers some Other space is because it deletes cover art. But is also screws up your music, which will no longer play correctly.
    You will find posts from people who said they recovered over 1 GB of space by just deleting old text messages.
    If you want Other to be smaller you will have to keep less data on your phone; delete old MMS and texts, delete old email (especially from the "deleted" folder), clear the cache, eliminate cover art.
    Your Other is so large, however, that there may be corrupt data contained in it (unless you send a lot of MMS messages with large attachments). If this is the case you should restore the phone as New.
    =====================
    For your other question, the easiest way is to copy your iTunes library folder from the old computer to the new computer. For the hard way, see: Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive

  • After upgrading to IOS 5, the "other" memory on my phone has taken up 3.7 gb.... is that normal?

    My wife has the same phone, but it didnt take up just as much memory after upgrading, any ideas?

    See Here  >  maclife.com/how_remove_other_data_your_iphone
    Other is usually around 1 GB...
    A  ' Large Other ' usually indicates Corrupt Data...
    First Try a Restore from Backup...
    But... if the Large Other Persists, that is an Indicator of Corrupt Data in the Backup...
    Then a Restore as New is the way to go...

  • Remote lock & Memory card corrupted issue

    Remote lock & Memory card corrupted issue
    Hi Dear Friends,
    You might have experienced the "Memory card corrupted issue."
    Don't panic! The solution is here!
    Your memory card is just 'locked', it isn't 'corrupted'!
    For sure, this post would be of great help to you, if:
    • You have enabled the "Remote lock" feature of your Nokia device.
    • You have sent the remote lock message to your device and locked it remotely.
    Finding the solution really took me a lot of time. I was inspired by various posts on the Discussion, and decided to find the official notes on the issue. So would like to thank those who shared their tips, and helped us solve this problem.
    I'm using E66, (you might use something else), and would refer to E51's and E65's User guide so often.
    Of course, I'm not going to explain the instructions, and recommend you to refer to your user guides when needed.
    On the contrary, I'm going to explain what may not be mentioned in your user guides.
    Let’s Begin
    What Has Happened:
    In short, you attempted to test the feature, your phone was locked, you keyed in the lock code, code was accepted, you used the phone for a while, switched it off, powered it on, you were prompted the Lock code, you keyed in the lock code, code was accepted, you attempted to view some stuff that was on your memory card, you didn't find it, you tried to run a program that was installed on your memory card, the program icon didn't open, you put the memory card in the card reader and connected it to PC, it was not detected, you went to Menu> Tools> Memory card> You saw "Memory card corrupted"!
    Don't, don't select the Yes selection key if you got the caution message, "Memory Card corrupted, reformat it?" because your memory card isn't corrupted, it's simply being locked!
    But you can't find the unlock memory card command in Menu> Tools> Memory card> Options.
    So? What to DO?
    1. (This step is optional) Disable the Remote lock feature.
    (Refer to your user guides) and change Allow Remote Lock> to no.
    Then, while the unit is on,
    2. Press the power key briefly, and select Remove memory card.
    3. Remove the memory card from the slot.
    4. Press OK if prompted.
    5. Reinsert the memory card in the slot.
    6. Reopen Menu> Tools> Memory card.
    Is your memory card detected? If yes!
    7. Follow tips number 2 & 3 of What to Know section below.
    Did you get "Password removed" message?
    If no, be careful of the case of the first character.
    If you had changed the Remote lock message many times, use the one that was practically sent to the device via text message.
    . In case you had set a password on your memory card before, you may also attempt to unlock the locked memory using your own password, not the first eight characters of the remote lock message.
    Step seven would make the memory card detectable to the connected card reader to the PC too.
    8. The memory card is detected temporarily, but it is locked and the "memory card corrupted" issue reappears every time you switch off/on the phone, unless you successfully complete step seven.
    What to Know?
    Official User guide Tips:
    1. Remote locking also locks your memory card. (E51 page100)
    . Yes, the one mobile phone that sends your device the predefined remote locking message, receives the confirmation message in response, indicating, "Mobile telephone and memory card are locked". But it isn't written in E66's and E65's.
    2. To unlock the memory card, select Menu> Tools> Memory> Options> Remove password, and "enter the remote locking message as the password". (E51 page100)
    . Yes, quite clear, but the quoted part ("enter the remote locking message as the password") isn't written on my E66's User guide, and there's a vague precaution on E65's, (refer to number 4).
    3. If the message is longer than 8 characters, the first 8 characters are used as the memory card password. (E51 page100)
    . Yes, quite clear good E51, but I don't own you; I have E66 your little sister. I owe my memory card's survival to nice users on the Discussion.
    4. The maximum number of characters allowed is 8. Using more than 8 characters could prevent unlocking the memory card and require reformatting it. If reformatting the memory card is required, all information on the card will be lost. (E65 page28)
    . Quite interesting, but it contradicts what good E51 says in number three¡!
    . And it contradicts my own experience of the issue (and some other users' on the Discussion) too, since my E66's memory card accepted the 'first eight characters' of the 'ten-character long’ remote lock message that I had previously used to remote lock it.
    . The first three tips are quite important and shouldn't have been excluded from E66's and E65's user guides. I don't have the time to download and review all the user guides that support this feature, but at least I read some user manuals and also got the impression (from the posts on the discussion) that there had been not enough information on E66's, E65's, E71's, N96's, and some others.
    You may like to do a simple search on Google:
    "The first 8 characters are used as the memory card password" site:nokia.com
    Since the content of the user guides on the server seem not be searchable for any reason, you won't find any official support result except those of the good users on the Discussions. And the 'Nokia Site Search" brings no result too. (At least on the date of this post).
    ¡ Terribly sorry for those who have selected Yes to the Reformat caution message. It wasn't your fault. But there's an idiom that says, sleep on it! "Think about it for a while before coming up with a decision".
    But now that you have tested the feature and know its solution, don't be afraid, and enable the Remote lock feature again! God forbid, but it may be needed one day!

    Dear, I guess, / This article doesn't suit your case. / • You have not enabled the "Remote lock" feature of your Nokia device. / • You have not locked your device remotely. / Because you don't know where the remote lock is and haven't played with its settings. / You need to explain what has happened. / The only thing we get is that your memory card doesn't open. / 1. your phone model, e.g., 5130. / 2. What did you do recently that might have caused this issue? / 3. What methods did you try to unlock it? / Use some of the tips provided above. (except number 1). / Yours

  • Dynamic memory is corrupt (Labwindows/cvi 2010)

    I have a multi threaded application....where I have a buffers allocated ineternally in the threads,,...A user interface is present to abort the therad execution.
    Here is the code in one of the threads (NOTE: status is set by a user button to EXIT the program):
    int EthernetDataStructureThread (void *functionData)
        CmtSetCurrentThreadPriority (2);
        EthernetData GetData={0}, *data=NULL;
        data = &GetData;
        /* Use a buffer to read the data from the queue which is coming from TCP read with fresh data */
        const void *BufferEth;
        int BytesRead=0;
        int BytesWritten=0;
        char ReadErrorMessage[256];
        BOOL bitset = FALSE;
        if ( (BufferEth = (EthernetData*)malloc(EthernetDataSize)) != NULL)
            while ( !status )
                BytesRead = CmtReadTSQData (Queue_TCPRead_EthernetData, BufferEth, EthernetDataSize, TSQ_INFINITE_TIMEOUT, 0);
                memcpy (data, BufferEth, EthernetDataSize);
                /* Empty the queue so that we don't have data in next time. */
                CmtFlushTSQ (Queue_TCPRead_EthernetData, TSQ_FLUSH_ALL, NULL);
                //Pass on the data to the Main thread
                BytesWritten = CmtWriteTSQData (Queue_EthernetData_Main, BufferEth , EthernetDataSize, 1, NULL);
                if ( BytesWritten != EthernetDataSize)
                     free(BufferEth);
                    BufferEth = NULL;
                    exit(0);
                Delay(0.02);
            if (status && !bitset)
                free(BufferEth);
                BufferEth = NULL;
                bitset = TRUE;
        return 0;
    My problem is: free(BuffEth) always says Dynamic Memory is corrupt......When I put a breakpoint and keep seeing the resource tracking window, I can see it getting executed fine as the resource tracking window greys out the memory block....but then suddenly free wants to exceute again...and causes the "dynamic memory is corrupt" error.
    I am using LABWINDOWS /CVI 2010 SP1 in WinXP.
    Please help me ASAP....very much appreciated.
    Regards
    NITIN

    Thank you for your reply Jackie.
    I am calling Free only once...there is an If condition there.
    See the attched video for my problem...Free frees the memory block (see the greyed out portion in resource tracking window but still the statement controls remains there and free executes again, throwing error).
    Do you  think it is some sort of bug in LABWINDOWS.
    See the attached video.

  • "other" memory has 7GB worth in it

    My ipod touch for whatever reason continually increases the "other memory" and its up to almost 7gb. it is taking up all the space left on my ipod so what is it and how do i get rid of it?

    An "other" that large usually indicates that the "other" includes corrupted files.  Usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.
    To restore from backup see:

  • Memory is corrupt

    I set up Boot Camp today and  loaded Windows 7 on my Mac Mini.  I did this so that I could run a sewing pattern drafting software program that requires Windows.  I downloaded the pattern drafting software but it's giving me error messages saying that my memory is corrupt.  Any suggestions?
    Thanks!
    Jill

    Thanks for everyones suggestions.  I contacted the software company and was told that it was a Windows problem.  I was directed to this download which fixed the problem.

  • I've just done the upgrade to iOS 7.0.5 on my 5S and it has taken 6.4GB of 'other' memory from my phone (ie. not music, photos or apps) . Is that right?

    Should the 7.0.5 upgrade have taken so much phone memory space (6.4GB) ?

    See Here  >  maclife.com/how_remove_other_data_your_iphone
    Other is usually around 1 GB...
    A  ' Large Other ' usually indicates Corrupt Data...
    First Try a Restore from Backup...
    But... if the Large Other Persists, that is an Indicator of Corrupt Data in the Backup...
    Then a Restore as New is the way to go...
