Other problem in coverflow after update

i have a problem in coverflow.I have ordered my album by artist it so goood BUT BUT BUT if i add a new album in my ipod it is the firtst of the coverflow ****

I had the very same coverflow frustrations it took me ages to sort out!!! Anyway i did, in itunes you need to make sure all songs in an album have the same album art (i had to do google image searches to get the art work as when itunes found it they didnt show up on my nano only a gray square), secondly and most importantly compilation albums with different artists, click on all the songs and 'get info' on the second tab tick all of the songs in that album with the 'this is a compilation' box, itunes and ipod then puts all the different artists but with the same album title together. Repeat for different albums. Be careful though as albums done by one artist e.g. nelly furtado's latest album the artist is nelly ft.snoop or whatever - you need to make these a compilation too or in cover art the ipod will seperate it out from the album. hope this helps!!

HT1589 problems with itunes after updating..can't locate some of my songs..some have an exclamation point beside them how do i get these songs back in my itunes

I'm having problems with itunes after updating. I've lost all my playlists,,finally played around with it and got the songs back but some have an exclamation point beside them and can't be located. they are songs i've purchased. I'm not very computer literate so this is a major problem. I have spent hours with this. I just want all my songs to play even though I'm not happy that I have to recreate my playlists. It would be so much easier if I knew and understood how to correct this. Has anyone else had this problem and if so..is there an easy way to correct it?

Perform a hard reboot
Hold down the Home button and Power button on your iPhone or iPad and keep holding them until you see the Apple logo. Once you do, you can let go. When your device boots back up, go ahead and check to see if the apps have started re-downloading. If they still appear to be stuck, continue on.

Problem loading pages after update to Firefox 36

After updating from Firefox 35.0.1 to version 36, I am unable to load any pages in Firefox. (My internet connection is fine and I can use other browsers on the same computer.)
I've already tried many troubleshooting routines to fix the problem but none have worked. I've tried the instructions here:

I've also tried the more general and extensive troubleshooting here:

NONE of the suggestions in any of those pages solved the problem. Opening Firefox is Safe Mode did not help either. I was unable to load pages even in Safe Mode.
After following all of the steps in all of those troubleshooting guides and still failing, I uninstalled Firefox completely. (I followed all official directions on how to uninstall.) Then I re-installed Firefox VERSION 35.0.1. Firefox again worked fine with the older version.
Then I restored my profile from a backup using MozBackup. (My most recent backup was done when I had Ver. 35.0.1 installed.) Everything was still fine; Firefox worked fine and all of my settings were back to my preferences.
Finally, I again tried to update to version 36 - and the same thing happened! Unable to load any pages!
One other thing I've noticed: With version 36 installed, there is something wrong with my Options dialog. The first time I upgraded, I had only blank tabs for "General" and "Advanced"; with my second try, after updating to V 36 my Options dialog has blank tabs for "General" and "Search" (although Advanced is now showing.)
I am going to uninstall again, and again go back to V 35.0.1. But I would like to be able to update to the newest version. What can I do?
(I am a long-time Firefox user, and reasonably computer savvy. I have many extensions installed as I use Firefox as an important tool in my job as a website designer. I have Firefox extensively fine-tuned to my liking to optimize my work-flow.)

For users who have one or more builds from mozilla.org this will not work.
It would be best to have the full path so if you had placed the untared contents
in a folder in /home it would be /home/<username>/foldername/firefox/firefox –P
An easy way would be not to do it in a terminal but in say a launcher since
you have to point it to the firefox script in Firefox folder you can then add –P
on end. You can also have the exact "profilename" after the -P so Firefox
will start with that Profile.

Problems with Gband after updating to iTUnes 7 and Quicktime

Garageband has bee acting strange ever since the update and sometimes tracks freeze and it goes into a repeat which won't stop until I use the power button to shut down the computer. I am having multiple application problems since the forced update to iTunes 7. Anyone else having issues?

many times in the past, a quicktime and/or iTunes update has caused some weird stuff. Did you repair permissions after the update? Sometimes that will clear it up. Other times, many folks have gone back to the previous versions until a fix was found.

Hey guys, I am having a bit of bother with my iphone. Basically i was given an iphone 3g and I'm not really sure where it came from but it had a vodafone sim, I am on an orange contract so i took out the vodafone sim and put the orange one in and to my surprise it worked, it has been working fine for months but tonight I decided to do an update on itunes and now it is telling me that the "sim card in this phone does not appear to be supported" and and my phone is stuck on a screen with the usb cord and the itunes logo telling me to connect it, also i can only make emergency calls. What on earth have i done? I no longer have the original sim so cant use that to activate it
Is there any way to fix this? I had no idea doing an update would cause this trouble and atm my phone is useless.

The problem also appeared for some people after updating to 7.0, and for some after updating to 6.1.3, or 6.1.2, or to 5.1, 5.0, etc. and some first saw it without updating at all. Which argues against it being a software problem with 7.1 specifically.
Restore your phone using iTunes and set it up as a new phone. It you still have the problem it is a hardware failure.

I have used gnome3 about 3 week ago, but after my last update I have some problems.
I use 2 monitors (notebook and external). When I have external monitor connected gdm will crashes. I can see only black screen after gdm is started. But when I have external monitor disconected gdm runs normalI can connect external monitor before login or after login and it is still ok. Before update it was ok.
Seccond: when I click shut down at gnome3, gnome is comming down but system not. Monitors has no signal (graphic output is switch off) but notebook is still switch on. Only squeeze switch off button is help me. Before update it was ok.

My problem is summed up in this topic.
Updated Flash Player with 11.3 this morning (june 12th 2012) and since then my 7.1 Sound System works only 2.1. If i enable EAX Effects, works on 7.1 but since it`s just a room it sounds very odd.
I have no problem with sound on HTML 5 websites for that matter, Winamp, Video Players, games.
Uninstalled Flash Player, sounds work ok without it on different browsers, other than Chrome (since it has FP built in).
I hope for a sollution soon.

Untill there is a permanent solution, i found a way to deal with my issue and i hope it will help others.
I personally use Chrome and this is for this browser:
1. Type "about:plugins" w/o the quotation in the navigation bar.
2. On the upper right u will see "Details" click it then find the word "flash", and you will see something like this:
Flash (3 files) - Version: 11,3,300,257
Shockwave Flash 11.3 r300
Name: Shockwave Flash
Description: Shockwave Flash 11.3 r300
Version: 11,3,300,257
3. I say again, this worked for me on Chrome. The 3 files i have, two of them are Version 11,3,300,257 and one is 11.2.31.144
4. Simply disable the lates version 11.3 and enable the previous version 11.2
