Other users on Vista PC can't see playlists

So I installed iTunes and created a bunch of playlists. Everything works great for me. I have an admin account on the PC, and so does my wife. When she logs in and fires up iTunes, she doesn't see any of the playlists. Can someone tell me what I need to do so she can see the playlists as well? Thanks.

With the Mail app you can have more than one email account set up, but they will be accessible to anybody else who users the the device - the Mail app doesn't support password protection, and the iPad is basically a single user device. You can access your accounts via Safari, and you can create a Safari homescreen shortcut for the account login page(s).

Printing From iBook To Printer on Windows Vista Desktop, Can't see shared printer on a Vista machine from a Mac, although Windows notebooks find it immediately.
I have previously always had success sharing printers on Windows XP machines with my iBooks. . However upon installing Vista RC1 on my desktop I find I can no longer find the printer in the Mac's printer setup utility. When I dual boot back to XP everything works fine, but on the same machine when I boot into Vista I am unble to see the printers. The Mac printer setup utility finds the Vista machine on the network, but the printers are never visible. Is their some secret or channge in Vista that prevents Mac's running , in my case,Tiger 10.4.8 from seeing a shared printer on a computer running Vista
On the Vista machine, if I boot into XP The printer is shared and Windows notebooks can print to it, but neither of my iBooks can see the Printers when Vista is running.

That might have been the situation for the beta's and first RC's, but I have a final build. Plus the fact that other Windoze notebooks see the printer on the Vista box just fine leads one to believe it is a mac/Vista specific issue.
If anyone actually has experience with a MAC and Vista , I would appreciate hearing from you.

How can I see playlist artwork?

How can I see playlist artwork? I know cover flow is gone (stupid decision) but can I see the small album covers at the side like you used to be able to?

At first I couldn't find what icon you were talking about. Then I clicked on a different playlist, and it appeared! This icon does not appear when you choose a "genius" created playlist. It only appears on playlists that I have manually created.
Stupid, as far as I'm concerned.
Now I see that I can't have more than one playlist opened...which I often do...

ITunes 9.2 on Vista 64 can't see my other libraries

I have a desktop PC running Vista 64, as well as a laptop running Vista 32 bit.
Everything is connected on my home network; some through ethernet, some wirelessly.
The laptop has no issues connecting to my AppleTV as well as my iPhone for the remote app.
The desktop PC can't see the appleTV, iPhone remote app, or my laptop's library (for Home sharing).
The Desktop is recognized on the network, and my laptop can "see" the desktop PC, and the desktop can "see" the laptop. In fact, I can chase music using the windows media sharing option. Both laptop and desktop are even visible on my PS3.
How can I get iTunes on my Vista 64 desktop to see my appleTV and iPhone remote app?
Any ideas?
I've gone through the forums a number of times and tried all kinds of things like opening ports and so on. Nothing has worked.

Sharing iTunes library with other users (on Vista)

I'm posting this for my sister who just purchased a new computer running Vista. She's set up a user account for herself as well as one for each of my two nephews. We've successfully moved over her iTunes music folder from her laptop and can now access it and listen through her account.
However, we'd like to set it up so that my two nephews can also listen to the music from their user accounts. My oldest nephew also has a shuffle that would sync to it.
I've found a link to information about sharing, but I still need to clarify a few things.

Exactly how are these two things different? I'm pretty sure that I probably want the first of the two, but I'm not positive.

Exactly how are these two things different?
The first part - sharing your music with other accounts - makes the music available to the other users on the computer.
It is then up to the other users to decide whether or not they want to make use of the available music, hence the second part - listening to another account's music files - which, as the article says, must be repeated "for each account that is listening to shared music."

Can't see Playlists but can see songs when using iTunes in iPhoto

When I make a slideshow in iPhoto and try to select a playlist I made in iTunes, I can't see the playlists. I can see individual songs, but the playlists don't show up. I get the window with Sample, Garage Band and then iTunes, but there are no sub-categories under iTunes and none appear when I make the window larger. I'm a new mac user, so am I missing something obvious?

I have the same issues since I upgraded to iTunes 7. I dont even see the iTunes playlist in the iWeb. Any help/information is appreciated.

Assign Task is assigned to a specific user but the she can not see it in her ToDo list

I am currently working on the first process (after upgraded it to LC ES 2 with SP2) and try to test by routing it to the next person but the user could not see it in her ToDo list nor receive any Task email.
I checked for the process in the AdminUI and see that it is currently assign to that user and also check the email configuration but do not see any thing wrong. I also recorded it and see it is assign to that person. I then try to re-assign it to a different person but it still does not show in the next person's ToDo list. So I go to the log file and see there is an error as below:

It sounds like you have not selected anything on the Presentation & Data tab of the Workspace Startpoint/User Service.
You need to specify:
Your Asset (the form you want to present to the user)
An associated Action Profile (tells the server how you want the form rendered...typically it is set to Default which uses the Render PDF Form process)
The variable to hold your data(typically an xml variable)
Make sure these are set.

OIM 9: User assigned Provisioning Task can't see "Open Provisioning Tasks"

I have a user who is assigned a task through the Assignment tab, but when they log in, they don't see the "Open Tasks" menu. If I make them sys-admin, they can see it, so It has to be a permissions thing, but where exactly?
Any help would be appreacited!

You need to assign the following menu items "To-Do List Open Tasks menu item" to the group the user belong to.

Safari Can't Contact any Server, But Other Users on Same Computer Can

There must be some simple fix for this...We have two users on our PowerBook, my husband's version of Safari works just fine, but when I switch over to my desktop, Safari claims it can't contact the server, no matter what web page. My email is downloading fine.
Any suggestions?

Xp wired machine with printer - wireless vista machine can't see printer

Installed wrt310n router - install went well - works great.
Machine A = xp machine with printer
Machine B = vista machine
Machine A is hard wired to wrt310n router with usp printer
Machine B cannot see printer.
tried several steps including checking firewall settings and making sure workgroup names the same - doesn't work

This is not a router problem. It is your computer settings. Both computers have to be on the same workgroup. Default in XP is MSHOME while the default in VISTA is WORKGROUP. Change workgroup to mshome.
In XP, run file & printer sharing wizard. Go to Printer & faxes and you should see a little hand under your printers. Note the name of the printer you want to use.
In Vista go to network. You should see all your computers listed. If not, click on Network & Sharing Centre and turn on Network discovery and file sharing. Set your network from public to private. Go back to network and click add a printer. Select network printer.
Your XP has to be online for the vista to connect to your printer.

My firefox installation keeps crashing when I start it up in anything other than safe mode, how can I see the details of the crash report?

I've had Firefox installed on this computer for a couple of years, but only really started using this computer in the last 6 months. Originally Firefox 14, then Firefox 17.0.01, then finally 19.0
It crashed yesterday on starting, I uninstalled and reinstalled and same issue. I regressed back through version 17.0.0.1 and Firefox 14. I updated Shockwave, Flash, Java. I also uninstalled Divx, AC3 and Adobe Reader (recent installs/updates)
Updated MIcrosoft security essentials and ran a scan, no issues discovered. Updated and ran Superantispyware and found 1 Trojan which I removed.
Crash reporter comes up as soon as the firefox link is actioned. Can start firefox in Safemode.

please start firefox in safemode (by pressing the shift-key while it is launching) & go to ''firefox > options > advanced > general'' & disable hardware acceleration.

Adobe flash issues with a specific site but other users to the site can streem

Please I have tested this on fedora 17, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and on sepaprate PCs (win 7). With Chrome, IE 9, Firefox all update and Adobe flash is updated too

Hi, Go to this Adobe test site and you should be able to see the Flash Player logo animate and your FP version will be listed also. The latest is 10.1.85.3. Test with Firefox and also with Safari.

The Shockwave Flash plugin works thru the browser and is Installed there, so when you view any Flash content or videos, etc. you are able to. That test site should tell you if Flash Player is working.

HELP!!! Windows Vista/XP can't see XServe on network

I can find the share points on the server by typing in the address in an explore window (\\TLDMacserver\production and can view all sharepoints at
TLDMacserver), but the XServe is not showing up in Start/My Network Places/View workgroup computers.
I insured that the smb services are running on the XServe. Beyond that I don't know what else to check.
Any ideas?

In Server Admin, go to SMB, then Advanced, make sure Workgroup Master Browser is checked, and then check Enable WINS Server.

Can't see playlist/music library

My shuffle shows up under devices on itunes, however, I cannot get it to open. Anytime I click on it, it just brings up the "Register your ipod" screen. I have already registered it. I just want to see what music is on there so that I can delete some and add new music I already uploaded to itunes.

I wasn't high, I wasn't drunk. It wasn't there a couple of days ago.

I have playlist in itunes but they do not show up in idvd. *** am i doing wrong??

This sounds like a dimple-dot issue.
In iDVD, when you click on Media, and then Audio, you will see a little dimple-dot in the audio pane, equi-distant from the left and right edges. Place your cursor on the dot, and you can drag it up or down to reveal other displays. Your dot is probably located at the top of the display, concealing the display beneath. Just drag it down and you will see your playlists displayed.
