Nope. I would have said you could have had all your text forward to another phone,but you would have needed to install a special app for that. Since the phone is off and if it remains off, then your text messages that you are getting now should come in on the new phone.

I'll guess that you purchased Pages from the Mac App Store but when you run it it's asking for a serial number. This is because the trial version was installed on your Mac. You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

If there is no backup, there is nothing to recover the message from.
You might check to see if your carrier can provide the message, but it would never appear on your device again.

I have an presentation that uses small graphics at the bottom
to jump to it's corresponding marker based on the markerList. I
would like to retrieve the text in sprite(6) from the corresponding
marker location and display it in a text sprite on the stage at the
current location. Without jumping to that location.
I'm trying to avoid making a list or naming the members with
the corresponding marker.

Short answer... no.
Can you get the text of the member?
If that won't work you can use the updateLock property of
score recording.
You can do something like this: set updateLock to true, go
the frame you
want, get the text of the member of the sprite, then return
to the frame you
were at and turn updateLock back to false.
on test
_movie.updateLock = true
go "spriteFrame"
put sprite(6).member.text
go "normalFrame:
_movie.updateLock = false
end
If you place that as a handler in a movie script, you can
enter test from
the message window and see what happens - you will see the
text of the
sprite displayed, but the play head won't move...

Is this a problem on such a mobile device or is that on a desktop computer (your user agent suggests you are on Windows XP)?
Did you check that you haven't moved this bookmark by accident to another bookmarks folder?
If it happened so long ago that this bookmark is no longer in one of the JSON backups (bookmarks-####-##-##.json) in the bookmarkbackups folder then chances to retrieve this bookmark aren't very good.
You can try to create a new profile and see if restoring a JSON backup that looks promising in regard of the date shows you the lost bookmark.

If she has backed up her iPhone she can replace that iPhone and set up the new iPhone from her backup.
You can put the iPhone that went into water into a plastic baggie with either new silica gel packets (preferred) or raw rice and let it sit for 4 - 5 days. After that time remove the phone and connect it to power for at least a half hour. While it is still connected to power reset it by holding down the power and hold button, wait for the Apple logo then let go of the buttons. Might take several tries. If it revives immediately back it up.

With plain webapps, there is no way. In one way or another, the server needs to be invoked to be able to provide the data, so that is either a submit or through an Ajax call. Both would involve javascript. Why are you scared of Javascript anyway?

No, the app doesn't use Safari. The app is AutoDesk Inventor Publisher Viewer. I think there is a way that you can have a publish Inventor file, and if you create a correctly formatted hyperlink, you can click on it and it will immediately open the file in the viewer.
I know that if you offer the file as a standard download, iOS will ask whether you want to open it with Inventor Pub. Viewer or save it to another app that can accept files. I would prefer to skip the prompt, and just open the viewer.
I've heard mention that this can be done with this application, but I can't find reference material anywhere.

My father just passed away a few days ago and I wanted to keep the conversations we had over text messages, but it was over 30 days ago and it just deleted a conversation we had on September 13th. I've been trying all day to see if there is a way to retrieve the text messages, but I can't find a way. I will do ANYTHING as these are memories I will only be able to hold onto. Is there a way to retrieve the text messages by sending the device to RIM for them to retrieve or anything?
Any help is appreciated more than you know. Thank you so much.

Sorry for your loss. I understand completely where you are.
On that device do you have BlackBerry Protect installed? If so, there could be a backup there.
Otherwise, with no desktop backup, I am afraid not. Perhaps you should backup that device NOW before any other messages roll into deletion.

HI was wondering if there was a way of retrieving a deleted text message on my iPhone 4S

If you have a backup, you can restore from that backup and get the text messages that were stored in that backup.
For example, if you accidentally deleted a text message an hour ago and you backed up to iCloud two hours ago, you can restore from that iCloud backup and have the messages back.
Pretty simple.
But if you don't have a backup or simply don't feel like going through the trouble, there is no way whatsoever.

Problem solved unchecked back up to icloud and backed up to my computer, which then allowed me to untick the songs that were physically on my iphone (when iphone connected to computer) that I didn't want. Synced again and voila!!! Only files I want are now on my iphone . This has been bugging me for weeks, determination certainly paid off. Sometimes I think having problems is a good thing, you learn heaps trying to solve an issue
