Others can't see my calendar appointments

My colleagues cannot see my calendar appointments and sometimes can't see the ones I have invited them to.

I am publishing to .Mac. I'm Not sure what you mean by how are the photos loaded onto iWeb, is there more than one way to do it? I just dragged albums from iPhoto to load them on to iWeb and I clicked publish All to .Mac to publish it. I'm using the plain white template and the elegant template.

ICal error - can't see the calendars on opening...

iCal error - can't see the calendars on opening... unless i change the view - but then still the portlet in the top left hand corner remains blank.
Re-installed the whole OSx system from original disks and still the same problem.
cleared out the cache files, including trying to delete the metadata files... taken to my local Apple Centre (Academy) but no sucess so far.
Any ideas? Is it because i have around 8 calendars? Is that too many?
Could it be 'cos I sync with Missing Sync for my Palm TX?

When a user launches iCal, they may have one of the following symptoms:
* When iCal is launched the calendar is blank -- no calendars are listed on the left and no events appear in the day/week/month views
* Switching views allows all events to appear but the calendars on the left are still missing
* User can create a new event and designate a calendar but when the event is saved it cannot be seen
* Clicking in the blank space where the calendars are supposed to be has no effect.
This issue is a Sync Services issue and not directly related to The Missing Sync. Mark/Space has identified a couple of solutions to this problem that others have reported. For more information, see: http://www.macfixit.com/article.php?story=20060207074628694
1) Quit iCal
2) Locate the folder, User/Library/Application Support/iCal/Sources/ and delete the contents
3) After deleting the files from this folder, lock the "Sources" folder. Do this by navigating up one level and selecting the "Sources" folder. Perform a "Get Info" (either through the "File" menu or by pressing Command-I with the "Sources" folder selected) then click the lock icon.
4) Launch iCal and your calendars should reappear. Note that the relaunch of iCal will create a default 'Home' and 'Work' calendar, so make sure none of your calendars have the same names as the default .
Do some backups first
Follow those simple steps
5) Go to Address Book, click on 'File' menu and choose 'Back up Address Book'. Go to iCal, click on 'File' menu and choose 'Back up database'.
6) Go to Missing Sync and double click on the Backup Conduit and set it to backup all databases. Then run the sync with just that Backup conduit selected, disable all other conduits.
7) Go to: /Users/<user name>/Documents/Palm/Users/<hotsync name>/ now hold the 'ctrl' key and click on the /Backups/ folder. Choose the option to 'Create Archive of "Backups"'. This is to safeguard your backed up data in case anything goes wrong.
Now 'Reset Sync History' using the iSync preferences option. The first sync will likely be slower.
8) Launch iSync
9) Click on the iSync menu
10) Choose Preferences (make sure the "Enable syncing on this computer" is checked)
11) Click the 'Reset Sync History' button. Read and follow the onscreen directions.
12) This may launch iCal. Also the status of the reset is showing in the iSync display. When the reset is complete quit both iSync and iCal.
Launch Missing Sync and enable the Mark/Space Events and Tasks conduits and set them to Desktop overwrite Handheld. Disable all other conduits.
Then sync, when you do, you will get a dialog box with an orange iSync icon on it. Check the box to erase the device, then click the 'Allow' button. It will overwrite your device. You will get one for events, one for tasks, and one for contacts. The next time you sync .mac or other devices that sync with iSync like an iPod, you will get these same dialog boxes for their databases and you should check the box and click 'Allow' in those cases as well.
If you press the don't allow button you will need to reboot your computer.

How can I see a calendar item that was in my backup

I did a full backup at home of my 8330 with BB Desktop Software a week ago.
But I accidentally left my phone in the office and can't retrieve it until Monday.
The data I need is in one calendar entry in the backup. How can I see it? I don't own Outlook or Office.
I can't figure out where to start.

Not easily, as the backups are intended to restore to the BlackBerry device, not be viewed and/or edited on the PC.
Try to find ABC Amber IPD Converter software for your PC. It can read your backup IPD files and save to Excel or another PC file format.

Can't see birthday calendar on iCal but shows on iPhone and iPad

I cannot see the B-day calendar on iCal. It is set ON within iCal calendars, the Bdays are set in Address. I can see the Bdays on both iPad and iPhone, any clues?
Also I cannot "clear" to do's on iCal if they were set on the iPhone or iPad.
Can anyone help me? please

While logged as 'Y' you can load 'X's calendar (if you have permission) by manually entering the appropriate url, http(s)://[domainof_server]/ical/[username_of'X']

Others can't see my photos

I'm getting feedback that friends and family can't see my photos in an iweb 08 published site.
"hi mate cant see the pictures????hope you are all well cx"
"The photos dont come thru, I wish they had, Hope all is well with your new addition"
It works fine on my computer, I can see them using IE on Parallels too.
Any ideas about why these people can't see the photos, do I need to tell them to install a plugin on their browser?

Publishing ical so that others can view and edit calendars

I would like to make my ical viewable for someone in another country and would like for them to be able to make changes to it, so that if either of us wants to make changes we can and it will sync as we make changes. I know that if you publish a calendar others can view it, but they can't make changes.
Does anyone have any idea of how to do this?

I am considering purchasing an iphone. I'd like to use ical for our family calendar, but want my husband to view and edit the calendar from his computer at work. Can we do this? I've been reading and it sounds like maybe if we purchase the mobileme package at another $69/year. But maybe not even then? Perhaps it is just better to use googlecalendar from my iphone and have him view/edit from his work computer? Will googlecalendar work well from my iphone? I'm unfamiliar with ical or googlecalendar, but we are ready to move our family calendar online. Any advice is appreciated.

Others can't see me

I'm logging onto iChat with aol instant messenger or Bonjour. I can see others, but they can't see me. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't have any evidence to believe that there was anything altered in my other party's computer set up. However, I just moved and upon setting up my intel iMac, there were some things that changed. I had to unplug and plug to do a reset of the System Manager to correct the startup sound and that popping sound that others complained about in other forums.

Normally it is a preference file that gets corrupted.
This can be caused from the AIM end when they Sync their servers.
It is known that at times there SSL Login that iChat 4 uses can be suspect and drop connections.
iChat 4 will default to a non SSL Login until you manually reset it which can add to the problem.
Start with a deletion of com.apple.ichat.AIM.plist and restart iChat afterwards to "force" a fresh Login to AIM.
This file can only be found by manually going to your Home Folder/Library/Preferences
If that does not work try out the things in the User's Tip.
Other problems for iChat include having Internet Sharing ON
iChat can "See" the Internet through this Link as well as your Computer's connection to the Internet. (This includes to iPhones or other WiFi Phones that can then browse the Internet through the connection).
Similar issues apply if you use WiFi and Ethernet to the same router (or even to a neighbour's network.)

Others can not see my attachments when i use Mountain Lion Mail.

When I use Mail to add attachments, the attachments all goes to the body of the mail.
how ever, my receivers all can not save my attachments in one time because they never see my attachments in the title,( they use MS outlook in Machontoshi ) but only see the files in the body of my mail. they all have to pull the attchment files one by one, and then edit the file names one by one again (when pull out the files, all files named "untitled"

Tracks cover each other. can't see all tracks, can't move them, frustrating

Apologies if this is a repeat topic. But I haven't been able to find any posts about a problem similar to this.
In a new project, I can add three new tracks fine. Past that, the new tracks appear over the old ones, I can't drag them out of the way. Occasionally I can putz with it long enough that other tracks show up, they are displayed weird (like the gui doesn't show them right, just pieces of them) until I click in them and then they show up. This is worse if I have volume automation open for any tracks.
It's extremely frustrating, no matter what I do, locking tracks, dragging, changing the order I add them, new tracks show up over old ones and I can't move them around into a position where I see all of my tracks in the order I want them.
Is this a setting problem or an actual error in the software or processing.
I'm running snow leopard on a Black Macbook.

Can't see delegate calendars on iPad

Was experiencing the same problem. Was using Exchange calendars with delegates. I just updated my iPad and just received iPhone 4s. Delegate calendars do show on iPad but not on iPhone 4s. Exact same calendar account settings on both. Thought it must be some glitch in iOS5.0 for iPhone.
Decided to change iPhone back to GoogleSync for delegates. Just had to go to https://www.google.com/calendar/iphoneselect and choose which calendars to sync. Disabled my original Exchange account on iPhone. All sorted now.

IF you get app update notifications, are you able to use the App Store from the Updates Tab? Try closing the App Store and reset your iPad. You will not lose any data.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Next, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Why can't I see the calendar in list view with iOS 7.1?

Since I've upgraded to iOS 7.1 I can't see my calendar in list view. When you click on the search button as you used to, it only works as a search rather than pulling up the list view. If you search for a letter then you get a list of all entries that have that letter included but not the entire list of entries. I'm lost without this, how do I get around it?

to the left of the search button in day view are dots with lines. Click that. You should see the list view.
