Others cant see/read my text
i have the LG Vortex and when i send text to other people that dont have a smartphone or newer cell it comes up blank or as a page. is there something in my cell that i need or can change to fix this? i love the phone and dont really want to get rid of it!
Well the LG Vortex is a great phone, so you shouldn't have to give it up! I just have a few questions. Is this happening with longer messages (over 160 characters)? Some things that could cause this is if you are sending an enhanced message to a phone that doesn't support enhanced sms (EMS). An EMS is a message over 160 characters, contains special characters or graphics. I would suggest turning off the signature and callback number also. If you go to messaging, press the menu button on the bottom left of phone, then choose settings. Uncheck signature and callback number.

My suggestion is a "Guest" logon user account for other people who use your PC. That will keep all your data from being seen by anyone except you. -

}Thats the code I have so far. I have an input file called "calculator.txt" which I made in notepad then copy/pasted into the same folder that this Calculator.java file is located. The build fails and sends this error:
unreported exception java.io.FileNotFoundException; must be caught or declared to be thrown
What am I doing wrong that it cant read the file?"Exceptions" are written about and described in any Java book and they all contain plenty of example.
Your code shows no attempt whatsoever to handle an Exception. So the original answer assumed you didnt' know what an Exception was and gave you a resource to read.
It you would spend the time reading your text or the tutorial given instead of wasting time with these ridiculous comments you would have had your answer by now.
We don't have time to write a personal explanation about what an Exception is. We would only be duplicating what is in the book and tutorial.
On the other hand if your code acutally contained some code that resembled an attempt to catch an Exception, then you might have been given more specific help. If you don't understand that concept then you will have trouble getting answers in the forum.
Did you even search the forum to see if any other posting had a question about that Exception? -
I have a Mac Book Pro with 10.6.8 and want to back up my files using a flash drive. It says I did it but when I tried to check on my other Mac - an I Mac with 10.5.8, thedata does not seem to be there. I cant see photos, etc.. It shows the backup as a file and shows various system info. but there are no photos or other files shown.

MikeA PowerPC Mac, if that's what it is, won't be able to see an Intel Mac's formatted data. Also ExFat formatting is not supported by 10.6.3 or earlier. I would try viewing the backup on another Intel Mac with at least 10.6.4. If it isn't there, then the backup never really took place. I much profer a hard drive with Carbon Copy Cloner.

Hello, I have an iPad Mini WiFi Cellular white 16Gb and I puted my sim inside it but, I cant read the text message that I recieve in the Sim. What can i do? And I can't put the sim in a cellphone coz it doesn't recognize it. Please help me! Thank you.

Hello, I have installed Reader, Adobe Acrobat, trial versions of Photoshop and Illustrator. Some more than once. They work for a few days at most then I am told to re-install. I cant look at any pdf file even though I can still see reader in my programs. What is going on and what can I do to fix this?
Unfortunately no, It says "Adobe not responding" as well when I try to open a pdf. It has done this a few times where I had to uninstall and reinstall. Also, Illustrator tells me to uninstall/reinstall as well.

Cant see the page links text in my main & side navigation bars

I published my site to Mme yesterday and I have noticed a few problems have come up. The main problem is my main and side navigation bars. In the top nav bar you cant see all the page links text, they should show up in white. I can only see them when you roll over the page name (this is in grey) and that is the rollover colour. Not sure what to do to get the text colour to stay white all the time so it is always seen once it's been clicked. It just disappears, but is still there if you roll over it
My side nav bar, the text should also all be white and when you roll over it turns red. For some reason when you click on the page link it turns grey and stays grey. I also want the page links to stay white once clicked on

When sending a text, I was able to see when the text was delivered and when it was read, then an Apple Genius reset my phone and now I cannot see when the text was delivered or read.
Any suggestions?Look in settings - message.

Hi, I'm unable to see if I have any music/videos/photos on my ipad and itunes advise that I have 23gb of 'other' material therefore the sync is unable to perform when transfering music/videos to the ipad. I was forced to perform a restore earlier and now cant see the videos/music so want to replace. Pls assist, thanks
23 GB of other indicates a corrupt file(s). A restore should resolve.

...remove the jumper from the Western Digital 40GB drive...connect it to the far end of an IDE cable...connect the other end to your motherboard...start your machine...
...after Windows boots click Start > right-click My Computer > Manage > highlight Disk Management in the left pane > see if the 40GB is there > it should be > click the drive in the right pane > Action > All Tasks > Format...after Fomat you may have to go back to Action > All Tasks > Mark Partition As Active... -
i have an ipod tough 3g and its like about 4 to 5 years old it works perfectly fine except the home button is abit messed up and the ipod sometimes crashes. but other than that everything is fine. so i was watching something on an app and then al of a sudden i dont see the video i can just hear it. i then think its just the app but when i go on youtube the same exact thing happens. you click to watch a video and you can hear it perfectly but you cant see anything. the screen is just black when u ONLY watch a video. this happened last night so yea.i really hope somebody can help me figure out how to fix this and whats wrongwith it:)

Noor .T.When it goes black do a very short press of the button on the right upper side of the phone and the screen will reappear. Make it a very short quick press.
OTOH, if you are using the speaker so you can watch the screen as you are talking when it goes dim touch the screen anywhere that it is blank and it will again go bright. On long calls you have to repeat this.
Many folks have had the same problem you described and what I have told you is the best and ONLY way around the screen going blank during a call.

Cant see others in video conference
When i join a video conference with more than once person i cant see anybody else but myself.
When i start a video conference and add people one by one...the first person can see everybody...but the 2nd and 3rd cant see anybody else.

Bit Complement in an Expression Node
I can use bit complement in a formula node but not the expression node. The "~" tilde is the only text in the expression node. The error is "~#" with # being the error. The input is a U8. Thanks in advance for any help.
