Others expenses to COPA

Question

I am little confused how to proceed for the following:
Our client want to have profitablity report product wise/ region wise, etc.  I know that the revenue part and COGS will come from the SD invoice.  But I am confused about some other expenses which are particularly applicable for certain sales offices or products.  How can we assign that in COPA ?  I cannot do through PA transfer structure as it is defaulted from cost elements.  But these cost elements cannot be assigned by default to a profitability segment. 
Cline tto want a profit & loss statement per product from the COPA.  That is my issue.  Please clarify.

Hi,
if your profitability report should be product wise / region wise,... all PA-postings must contain this information.
So is it possible to assign other expenses to the reporting characteristics (means do you know for each expense to which CO-PA charcteristic combination it belongs)?
If yes you can post it direct to PA-segement, or post it to a cost center which reflects a combination of your relevant chars. and settle this cost center to CO-PA using KEU5 T-code.
Using this way, you can also post some "indifferent" expenses to one cost center, allocate it (whatever the key is) to the "CO-PA settlement" cost centers and settle it to CO-PA.
