OTN Toolbar Errors

Just today I get an error when searching using the OTN Toolbar. Is there a fix or update?
The error message I recieve is:

Thanks for your note - A quick question, which version of IE are you using, 4,5,6? and to which level of SP?
Also do you currently have any oracle software installed, e.g. database, developer tools, SQLPlus?

I am getting a community toolbar error message on Safari. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? I am running Yosemite. Thank you!

To remove the "Conduit" spyware, take the steps below.
Triple-click the line below on this page to select it:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Conduit
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. From the Finder menu bar, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder…
Paste into the box that opens (command-V), then press return. A Finder window should open with a folder named "Conduit" selected. If it does, delete the selected item.
    Repeat with these lines:
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ConduitNPAPIPlugin.plugin /Applications/Toolbars
You may be prompted for your login password. Next, copy this line:
    /Library
Select Go to Folder… again and paste. Don't delete the Library folder. Delete only the following items inside it, if they exist.
              Application Support/Conduit
              InputManagers/CTLoader
              LaunchAgents/com.conduit.loader.agent.plist
              ScriptingAdditions/ct_scripting.osax
Close the Finder windows you opened. Log out and log back in.
From the Safari menu bar, select
              Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Remove any extensions with the word "Conduit" in the description, and any others you don't know you need. If in doubt, remove all of them.

How to fix this issue please?
    Thank you

Looks like its dying on the first line of code in that method. Try checking:
The methods parameters - perhaps compiler doesn't like TextFormat defaulting to null
Or perhaps you're using that default null param and its biting you but misreporting the line number.
Seems like I might have had problems in the past with params, but I think it was with assigning null to a callback function param.
Instead I had it default to an empty class method called NullMethod, or some such.
Other ideas, although these usually apply to compile time errors and not runtime:
Import statements - are you missing one?
Access modifiers - is something trying to call this method that doesn't have access?
Check for syntax errors higher in the file.

  • No longer able to add bookmarks on Yahoo Toolbar, Error message: "Exc in ev handl: TypeError: this.oRoot.enable is not a function" started when I updated to Firefox 6.0

Since updating to Firefox 6.0 I am no longer able to add bookmarks on Yahoo Toolbarl. I receive the following Java Error message: "Exc in ev handl: TypeError: this.oRoot.enable is not a function." When I hit the OK button in the error message it opens up "Add a Bookmark" and when I attempt to add the bookmark there I get this error message: "A problem occured while trying to save the bookmark. Please try again later."
Is this a comparability issue that you are not aware of? Below are the versions of Firefox and Yahoo Toolbar that I currently have installed:
    Firefox: 6.0.02
    Yahoo Toolbar: 2.4.0.20110815110908
    Windows XP, Service Pack 3
I am having this issue on my laptop and desktop. Since I use both computers the Yahoo toolbar has been great for having my bookmarks available on both computers at the same time but no I don't have that feature. I'm told that Google's toolbar also doesn't work either.
Do you guys do any testing or Quality Assurance testing before releasing these versions?

Add-ons are the responsibility of their authors. McAfee does not even put their extension on http://addons.mozilla.org you had to install it from their site.
Disable "McAfee Site Advisor" extension which was just updated to 3.4.0, which probably took it out of the addons block list.
    * "Ctrl+Shift+A" > find McAfee Site Advisor and use "Disable", and then restart Firefox.
    * Do a Google Search no problem
    * It seems that if you re-enable Site Advisor again, and restart Firefox you are okay. At least you know where to look if you get the error again or Google searches slow down.

When I enable "Display Toolbar"  on the CrystalReportViewer I get an error when I try to display the report on a web page.  The error is "Control 'CrystalReportViewer1_ctl02_ctl01' of type 'ToolbarButton' must be

    Hi.
Ensure that you have a form tag in your aspx page.  I just ran into this and when I removed my old CRViewer, the <form> tag went with it.
    <body><form id=frmViewer method=post runat=server>...<crviewer/></form></body>

  • TP4 - panelHeader, facet toolbar, error in all-11-otn4.js

    Hi,
I have af:panelHeader and inside facet toolbar I have af:commandLink component.
Inside af:panelHeader is af:table. Rendered jspx page show me error in all-11-otn4.js x25.getComponent() has no properies.
The same page works fine in TP3.
When I remove link component from toolbar facet the page works without errors.
    Is this bug in TP4?
    Thanks,
    Marko

If I surround af:commandLink in toolbar facet with Panel Group Layout page works fine. In TP3 facets works fine without layout components inside facet.
Why I must surround with layout component if I have only one component inside facet?

  • Community toolbar error message on safari

Error message: I'm using Mac OS 10.6.8 Snow Leopard
"We're sorry, but the Safari browser version you are currently using does not support the community toolbar"
What should i do do solve this problem??

That toolbar/ct plugin seems to cause problems for all who install it!
If you are running Tiger or Leopard:
Close Safari, then locate and delete the following files and it should be gone:
    /Library/Application Support/Conduit
    /Library/InputManagers/CTLoader
    /Library/Receipts/ctloader.pkg
    /Library/Receipts/<Toolbar name>.pkg
    /Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/CT2285220.bundle
    /Users/<User name>/Library/Application Support/Conduit
where / is the root library on your Hard Disk.
If you are running Snow Leopard you should also look here:
    Library/launchAgents/com.conduit.loader.agent.plist
    Library/Application support/conduit plugins
    Also, as mentioned by Gilli2000:
Library/Receipts - If you read it, it has information in it at the bottom referring extensively to "CT" and "community toolbar".
Maybe it is harmless, but trash those items anyway!
    If you are running Lion:
From the Finder Menu bar, select Go ▹ Go to Folder, and in the box that opens write:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Conduit
Delete the second item if it is there.
Now select Go to Folder again and enter  /Library
From the folder that opens, delete the following items if they are there (you may need your login password):
    Application Support/Conduit
    InputManagers/CTLoader
    LaunchAgents/com.conduit.loader.agent.plist
    ScriptingAdditions/ct_scripting.osax
then close the folder. Now select Go to Folder again and write: /Applications/Toolbars
Delete that item and close the Finder windows you opened. Log out then log back in, and you should be rid of it.
Note: Safari does not support any third-party toolbars except those supplied as an extension to Safari via the Extension Gallery.

  • Community toolbar error?

So basically after upgrading to Yosemite this error keeps popping up "We’re sorry, but the Safari browser version you are currently using does not support the community toolbar."
I've already gotten rid of the conduit folders before I upgrade so why would this keep popping up now?

To remove the "Conduit" spyware, take the steps below.
Triple-click the line below on this page to select it:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Conduit
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. From the Finder menu bar, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder…
Paste into the box that opens (command-V), then press return. A Finder window should open with a folder named "Conduit" selected. If it does, delete the selected item.
    Repeat with these lines:
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ConduitNPAPIPlugin.plugin /Applications/Toolbars
You may be prompted for your login password. Next, copy this line:
    /Library
Select Go to Folder… again and paste. Don't delete the Library folder. Delete only the following items inside it, if they exist.
              Application Support/Conduit
              InputManagers/CTLoader
              LaunchAgents/com.conduit.loader.agent.plist
              ScriptingAdditions/ct_scripting.osax
Close the Finder windows you opened. Log out and log back in.
From the Safari menu bar, select
              Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Remove any extensions with the word "Conduit" in the description, and any others you don't know you need. If in doubt, remove all of them.

  • Yahoo! Games gives weird Community Toolbar error

When I try to run some (maybe all) Yahoo! Games using Firefox (4.0b1) I get a window that says "'''Community Toolbar''' We're sorry, but the Safari browser version you are currently using does not support the community toolbar." followed be a "Close" button. My Safari browser stopped working properly months ago and I abandoned it. Before it broke it ran these things fine, and the Flock browser also runs them.
The example URL is a crossword puzzle. When I close the error window the puzzle goes on to run normally. But where is this window coming from? (Who's "sorry", Yahoo! or Mozilla?) And why is it even talking about Safari? What IS a community toolbar, anyway. What's going on?

Look in Safari > Preferences > Extensions tab.  Delete the community toolbar if you don't want it or Click Updates if you want it updated.
    Regards

  • Community Toolbar Error keeps popping up whenever I access the internet.

I had this issue for over 6 months. Today I solved my problem by deleting the Application "Echofon" which is a Twitter App for Macs.
I typed in Applications into "Finder" to find my Apps Folder, Located "Echofon" folder and sent it to Trash, then Empy Trash.
I have not had the Error pop up again since then.
Hope this helps someone because I read every discussion board and blog I could find and nothing worked until this.

This is typically caused by an add-on. Some add-ons such as the web developer add-on have a preference to open the error console. If you have that one check its preferences
Some mouse gesture add-ons have been reported as causing this. For details of how to troubleshoot this to identify what add-on is causing it see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
