Ou est passé Adobe reader ?

Bonjour
J'ai été dans l'obligation de réinitialiser ma tablette au niveau des réglages "usine". Tout fonctionne de nouveau parfaitement sauf que je ne peut pas lire les fichiers PDF. J'ai voulu téléchargé ADOBE READER mais Google Play me signale qu'il est déjà installé sur ma tablette
Je ne le trouve nul part dans les applications. Ou est-il et éventuellement comment réinstaller ADOBE READER pour pouvoir lire mes fichiers PDF ?

Nulle part sur la tablette j'ai une quelconque application ou icône concernant Adobe Reader, peut être dans un dossier caché, mais je n'y ai pas accès. C'est bien là mon problème, car d'un autre coté Google Play me refuse le téléchargement au prétexte que cette application est déja téléchargée et disponible sur ma tablette
Mes fichier à lire sont en PDF et je ne vois d'autre solution.
Je vais tenter de réinitialiser, mais cette fois volontairement, la tablette aux valeurs d'usine, à moins que d'ici nous pouvons trouver la solution

Both code snippets above work when the HTML file is hosted (IIS / Apache). My web-app needs to be able to run from a USB memory stick and work with IE9. The #page param is required for a core feature of the app.

I have burned over 8 hours looking for a solution. I have tried any logical settings in Adobe Reader X, and with the security zones in IE. I am not very familiar with IE security zones, but I suspect it could be related to my issue. I can specify the end-user change any browser or plugin settings as an acceptable solution.

I am developing a hybrid web-application that needs to work both offline (entire website) and in a hosted environment. A key part of the product is displaying PDF's with a dynamic index outside of the PDF. This allows us to use PDF's collected from hundreds of contractors, clients and manufacturers and combine them into one searchable product with a consistent interface. I can specify product requirements including IE browser settings, installed plug-ins etc. I am not trying to cater to a wide audience such as everyone online, but a specific one that is spending $5k-30k for a custom resource.
I expect the limiation is due to a wide cast net regarding security. I tried every setting in IE and essentially fully disabling all security options did not resolve it.

Open Adobe Reader PDF Search window by passing directory to search in...

Hello,
I have a directory on my C drive fill of OCRed PDF. My users are not that sophisticated enough to tell them how to do it step by step... I would prefer to write a BAT/CMD file so when they click on it, it would open Adobe search window by passing my directory as default to the Adobe Reader so they can type their search characters in the search area and search for their desired character string in the directory that I have passed to them via BAT/CMD file... Could you please give me example or guide me how it can be done?

I have Professional version... Do you have answer to this using adobe pro? Yes I know there is reader Furom.... I could use both but I prefer to use pro version.

Ouverture de fichier PDF avec Acrobat X Pro/Adobe Reader

J'ai un petit problème :
Depuis que j'ai installé Acrobat X Pro, tout mes fichiers PDF veulent s'ouvrir avec ce logiciel.
Le problème est qu'il ne démarre pas, parfois j'ai de la chance et 1-2 minutes plus tard il se lance
Quand je lance Acrobat X Pro depuis l'éxecutable, sans passer par un fichier, ça ne marche pas non plus. Et Distiller X non plus.
Je peux donc faire clic droit sur le .pdf et faire "ouvrir dans adobe reader 10" et le logiciel gratuit adobe reader s'ouvre en moins de 2secondes.
Alors j'ai voulu mettre que les fichiers .pdf s'ouvraient par défaut avec Adobe Reader quand je double-clique sur ces fichiers.
Mais là, l'image du fichier a changé en une icône toute moche :
Comment puis-je remédier au fichier moche de droite, mais en l'ouvrant avec Adobe Reader ?
Ou alors en faisant en sorte de Acrobat X Pro arrive à se lancer
Je suis en Windows 7 Familiale Premium (un ordi en 32x et un autre en 64x)

"Convertir au format pdf" et "combiner les fichiers pris en charge dans Acrobat..."

Problème de muni ralenti dans Adobe reader pro

J'ai installer une version d'évaluation d'adobe pro télécharger sur le site adobe 2 semaine en arrière.
Propriété du pc:
Windows 7 pro
KIS 2015
pc dans un domaine
profil de connexion: administrateur
profil: local administrateur
J'ai fais l'installation et tous c'est passer correctement.
Ouverture du programme Adobe reader pro tous ce passe correctement. Quand je passe sur barre de menu avec la souris pas de souci réaction très rapide.t
Par contre une fois un fichier ouvert, tous se mets a foirer. quand je passe sur la barre de menu elle disparaît. certaine fenêtre n'apparaissent pas.
J'ai contrôler au niveau des permission du domaine est ça a l'aire tout en ordre.
J'ai désactiver la protection KIS et toujours pareil.
J'ai controler la config KIS et adobe Reader est en application de confiance.
Je ne sais plus quoi contrôler pour résoudre se problème.
Je vous remercie d'avance pour les information que vous pourrez me fournir.

Sorry, the problem is indeed not clear. You are using Acrobat trial, not Reader. These are two different products. Several possible things to consider from what I think I may understand:
1. Try F8 and/or F9 to switch on/off toolbars and menus.
2. In the Help menu run Repair and then Updates. It may be that you are not running the most current version.

Bug entre Mail d'Apple et Acrobat/Adobe Reader

je viens de relever un bug incroyable :
Je reçois un PDF joint dans Mail d'Apple.
Je l'ouvre (par défaut avec Acrobat sur ma machine).
Le PDF visionné n'est pas le bon !!!???!!!
En fait, en voilà la cause :
En avril 2013, je change de Mac et passe du système X 10.5 à X 10.8.
Et apparemment, les téléchargements dans Mail ne sont plus gérés dans le même dossier de "Bibliothèque" et Adobe n'a pas du relever cette modification car quelle fut ma surprise quand j'ai voulu visionner un PDF joint qui ne correspondait pas à celui qui m'a été envoyé.
Le PDF joint au mail de mon fournisseur s'appelait "DEVIS CLIENT.PDF".
Or quand je l'ouvre depuis Mail avec Acrobat Pro ou avec Adobe Reader, le fichier qui s'affiche s'appelle bien DEVIS CLIENT.PDF mais il date de mars 2013 !!???! Et ce n'est pas du tout le devis de ce fournisseur !?!
En faite, Acrobat ouvre le fichier DEVIS CLIENT.PDF qui se trouve dans Users/[moi]/Library/Mail Downloads alors que le bon fichier se trouve dans Users/[moi]/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/Library/Mail Downloads
Par contre, Aperçu m'ouvre bien le bon.
Sûrement un point à corriger de la part d'Adobe.

J'en ai profité pour passer de la CS5 à la CC.
L'installation c'est donc faite avec Creative Cloud (le logiciel qui “manage” les applis et qui n'a pas de nom spécifique )

Ver 8 installed fine but can't get it to launch from any application. Have tried going back to earlier versions (6.1,6.2,7) but the same problem occurs.

Like others my problem was Adobe Reader 8.1.2 died terribly and with a buggy stench with the following error:

RESOLUTION ON XP SP2
1. Control Panel, Users
2. Create a new user account NewUser (for example)
3. Start, Log Off
4. Switch Users to the NewUser
5. Wait the mini eternity for new user to be set up.
6. Start Adobe Acrobat 8.1.2 and you will see a red splash screen along with some license updating things.
7. Adobe 8.1.2 now starts fine under NewUser
8. Switch back to your regular user name. Start, Log off, Switch Users
Now a note to Adobe. Do you folks really have to make this such a frickin pain to get working? Do you at Acrobat have any idea of how much time we users blow and how much of our lives pass by while we try to re-download and work with this product? You are directly responsible for a small slow down in the world economy by this. Get the hint.... create an 8.1.3 that omits the secret code steps above.
The only thing that kept my sanity during this were nice songs on channel 86 on SIRIUS. Thank you SIRIUS.

Installation Issue with Adobe Reader 11.0.03.

I am having issue getting Adobe Reader XI to install onto a machine and needing help resolving it. The machine itself meet and exceed the requirement for the installation. There was a previous version of it installed, but was remove via Group Policy and now it is being deploy via SCCM 2012. So far out of 100+ machines all have successful installed adobe reader XI through the new deployment, except one. Adobe Reader for Windows Phone cannot open older PDF versions?

I've found that Adobe Reader for Windows Phone displays the following error when I try to open certain PDF documents: "There was an error opening the document".
After doing some limited testing I found that it can successfully open PDF documents which were saved as "PDF version: 1.5 (Acrobat 6.x)", but the error appears when it tries to open documents saved as the older format "PDF version: 1.3 (Acrobat 4.x)". (I am checking the filetype version by opening the documents in Adobe Reader X on my PC and looking at the document properties).
My phone is a HTC 7 Mozart running Windows Phone 7.5. I noticed the problem when I was using the SkyDrive app to try and look at some PDF files I have saved in SkyDrive. SkyDrive downloads the file and then passes it to the Adobe Reader app to view. It works when I look at a newer version 1.5 PDF but not the older v1.3 type. Unfortunately my HP Photosmart 5510 scanner outputs scans as PDF files and only in the older file version.
I've tried reinstalling the SkyDrive app and the Adobe Reader app on my phone. (The Adobe Reader app is version 10.1.1, build 20120919).
Is this a known limitation, or is this a bug?
If this is a limitation that won't be fixed - is there an easy way I can convert my files to the newer file type? (Adobe Reader X on my PC doesn't seem to offer a way to convert existing files)

Printing error on Laserjet 4200 PCLXL with Adobe Reader 8.1.2

While printing on our HP LaserJet 4200 with Adobe Reader 8.1.2, here is the error printed by my printer:

I use PCL6 driver and if I use the PCL5 one, I only get a portion of my 11/17 pdf. The PS driver seams to be OK. I didn't have this problem in Adobe Reeader 7.0.8. And I don't have this problem on older LaserJet printers (4000 or 4100) or newer's (4250).
With PCL 5 or Post Script, it kinda print, but Adobe Reader is not able to get the write size of paper. If I have a 8½/14 or 11/17 document, It can only print in 8½/11 correctly unless I go in printer properties and select manually the size of paper that I want to print on (or the size of the document). I can't keep that resolution because it's to difficult for most users and that they'll keep asking why their document doesn't print in the format it was built in.
Also, with PCL6, when I choose the write size of paper in the printer's properties, it prints correctly.
I tried to update the driver on our server, but the paper type of all our 4200 switched to "Etiquette" and we didn't want to pass on all our computers to reconfigure it back to "Normal paper". I also tried to update the firmware on another of our 4200s, but the problem persisted.
Can you help me to find out what's going on in Adobe Reader 8.1.2 and how I can solve that problem??

Adobe Reader 8.1.1 does not remember Duplex setting

I am printing with CUPS under Ubuntu Feisty and I have defined a HP Laserjet-4Si-4Si-MX-600-dpi printer/driver and set the default duplex setting within the CUPS system to long edge binding.
However, every time I start Adobe Reader 8.1.1, the properties window for that printer shows Duplex Printing: Off. If I change it in that dialog, it is remembered as long as the program stays open, but after closing and starting fresh, this is again set to off.
Since I nearly always want to duplex-print this is extremely annoying.
Is there a way to set the default within the Adobe Reader program? Is there some way to pass settings to the program or to force a setting for this through a configuration file?
The documentation of these issues is extremely lacking, not to say entirely missing, it seems.

Is the above behaviour also happening with properies other than "Duplex"?
What happens if you press the "Defaults" button on the properties dialog? Does the "Long Edge Binding" option comes up on hitting the "Defaults" button?

Yes, all the properties in the properties dialog are affected: page size, input bin, output bin, duplex printing. After restarting the program the same happens as pressing the "Defaults" button, setting all these values to specific values, of which the duplex setting is "off" and unwanted and different from what I defined in the printer configuration dialog of the OS.

Could you please try the following steps and let us know your observations?
1) Go to the CUPS page (http://localhost:631) and change the default values of PageSize to "A2", Duplex to "Long Edge Binding", Resolution to "300dpi" and apply the changes. Please take a screenshot of the settings here.
2) Launch Reader 8.1.1 (after removing the $HOME/.adobe folder) and open the print dialog. Choose the printer for which defaults were set in step 1 and click on the "Properties" button. Are the values chosen above listed in the drop-down boxes here? Please take a screenshot here too.
3) What is the behavior on clicking the "Defaults" button now? Please take a screenshot after this step as well.
Could you please send the screenshots to nseth at adobe dot com? I know this is a slightly time-consuming exercise, but it would be great if you could try the above, since the issue reported by you is not reproducible at our end.

Scratch that, I got it to work.
Even though the following commands:
lpoptions -p printer-name -l | grep -i duplex
and
grep -i printer-name /etc/cups/lpoptions
were both showing duplex as the default on both the client and server side and despite the fact that the lp and lpr commands defaulted to double-sided, acroread and it turns out even evince were not.
I re-ran the command:
lpadmin -p printer-name -o Duplex=DuplexNoTumble
from the cups server for each of our duplex printers and now it looks to work fine.
I'm not sure how or when this happened but it sounds more like something I did or else an issue with cups (perhaps an update made something inconsistent?) than it does an acroread problem.

Printing problem with Adobe Reader 8.1.1 on Gutsy

I have installed the new Adobe Reader 8.1.1 as a deb from Adobe site?
It is fast and works nicely except for printing where there is a problem :
Acroread always seems to print in portrait - this happens whether I have "Auto rotate and centre" option selected or not.
Evince has no problems printing the same document.
Obviously I am not the only one getting this problem :

Problem printing from Adobe Reader .pdf with Brother printer from a Mac

I have a macbook pro with Intel Core i7 and OS X Yosemite and Brother MFC-7360N printer connected by wifi. My problem is that I can print everything from all programs except from the Adobe Reader .pdf that do I print from my Preview files .. The error I get is "Error filter". Does anyone know where can originate the error and how to fix it?

when i installed reader xi, that worked well.
after some hours pass, double click pdf file and nothing happen.(only can see adobe reader on window task manager list)
i reinstalled reader several times and deleted program files(x86)/adobe folder too.
then worked well only some hours and not works again
can you help me plz?

Hi,
You have to remove the back hand file which was present in the Local Disk C >> Program Data >> Acrobat, if you remove this file. It will remove the SSH (Software System History) from the PC. Then you can efficiently reinstall the Adobe Acrobat XI
