Our public library uses Adobe Digital Editions but I cannot find out how to get books from ADE onto iTunes.

Does anyone know how to set up Adobe Digital Editions, or iTunes, to transfer books from ADE to iTunes for ultimate use on my iPad 2?

Try Overdrive - it allows for reading of digital books that many libraries use, and I believe will work with ADE.

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

I am trying to get authorisation to use Adobe digital edition, but my book's vendor is not on the list, and hence the password not accepted.

Numbers documents from iOS need Numbers 3.2 on a Mac to open. And Numbers 3.2 requires Mavericks. If you are using Mavericks you can get Numbers 3.2 from the Mac App Store. It will be free IF you have Numbers 2 (iWork '09) installed. Otherwise you must buy it.
Your other option is to send the Numbers file as an Excel file via e-mail to yourself to open with an earlier version of Numbers.

if its anything like my Sony, theres a button top left corner that upon each press i get an audible bleep and the AV inputs come up on screen, i then cycle down to whichever input i wish to select!
in case your remote is different, the button on my remote has a square with a slightly smaller square just overlapping the first square.

I am using Windows 7 and have installed Adobe Digital Editions 4. When I try to borrow a book from the library, it says it can't find the program

I am using Windows 7 and have installed Adobe Reader 4, in order to use a Kobo E-Reader. When I try to "Borrow" the book from the Library, I get a message that it cannot find the program to use to open it.
This problem started about 2 months ago. Up to that time everything worked well.
Hoping for a solution.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

Once you have those bookmarks in firefox use the firefox Bookmarks menu to see and click on the required bookmark, that will take you to the location of that bookmark, which usually will be somewhere out on the Internet.

No, not if our staff is trained to use the newest Adobe Acrobat (trainings are usually for the newest versions) and uses that to produce forms. Now the files open correctly. But what will be in some months or years? Do people working on Linux do have to print the forms then again to fill in?
So do you recommend that we stop the process of producing electronic forms and stay with paper-fill-in forms? Is that the goal of Adobe? (maybe not so clever for your "financial viability"?!?!? ... ein schuss ins eigene bein?!?!)
