Our Web Pages Do Not Render Correctly in Dreamweaver

Afternoon All
We've been using Dreamweaver on our company website for
several years now. We've recently redesigned the site, and
Dreamweaver doesn't render our pages properly. We have a page
background image, and a center designed site with a background
image, but Dreamweaver displays the background image, so we can't
see our text. Would anyone know the reason why?
Here's an example URL, the page validates so this can't be
the problem
http://www.ja.net/temp/validation.html
I've also taken a screenshot and uploaded it so that you can
see what we see in Dreamweaver
http://www.ja.net/temp/screenshot.html
Thanks for any help here

Are those the same pages? The first one is a page formatted
by CSS. The file
you are opening appears to be formatted with Tables.
Otherwise, it's likely an issue of DW just not handling the
CSS properly.
Nothing new.

You have asked Firefox to connect securely to smf.crm.red.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.
    Same problem in Firefox.
Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.
    What Should I Do?
If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Recent iOS update has made my iPad 2 unusable. The screen locks up. It's very laggy and web pages do not load correctly.  Is there a fix for this or are they even working on a fix.

    Try some basic troubleshooting:
    (A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
    (B) Try reset all settings
    Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
    (C) Setup as new (data will be lost if you do not have backup)
    Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

  • Web pages will not run correctly, says need Java- L505d-S6957

I have a new L505D-S6957 running the Windows 7 upgrade 32-bit.  I have tried using Firefox and IE8.  Both browsers seem to not run Java or not run correctly if so.  Though when I check my Java it is latest and installed.  Buttons on web pages and photos do not load or run.  I have tried re-loading the Java, the browsers, and about anything else I can think of. Some web pages load jumbled as if without any margin.
Can anyone help me determine what is going on here?  Some of my favorite web pages do not work and one will not even log me on.  I could not log on to this website to get this help.  It keeps returning back to the login screen after I try to login.  However, I was able to login here on the first try on another computer.  Thanks for any help on this matter.

  • Web pages do not render properly

Since my upgrade to Yosemite, web pages have not rendered properly in Safari.  Here is a screen shot of AOL:

    1. From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
    and confirm. Test.
    2. Select
              Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.

  • Web pages do not display correctly

Hi, I am currently having a big issue on my laptop...Any browser I try no matter what no web pages load correctly at all. Eg. Everything is blank and no text displays or anything.
Example: Google.com loads but it displays the search but everything else displays as if there is no text.

What web browser are you using? Did you try using a different one? Also, take a look at your fonts (system and browser specific). Maybe the theme you are using as well. Also, if you are using compositing (compiz, xcompmgr, etc..  ) then try disabling that and trying. It is just your browser right? Not your whole system?

  • Web page fonts not publishing correctly

so, when I view my web page it sometimes looks completely different than it does on iweb. I've used three different computers and it will look right one second - then I refresh or I make a change and re-publish and then it goes all screwy. does this sound remotely familiar to anyone?
I am using a font that is not standard on macs - a font that I purchased, would that make any difference? If so, that still doesn't make sense - because why would it work one minute and not the next.....??? stumped

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions.

Yes, that will be the reason. You can, however, get around that by turning the font box into a graphic. That's done by using the Font pane to add a drop shadow to the font and then moving the far right slider to the far left, making the shadow invisible.
Go into iWeb's preferences and check the box next to "Show text imaging indicator" as seen here. This will tell you when the text has become an image.
Otherwise you should use web safe fonts:
    Web Safe Fonts
Common fonts to all versions of Windows & Mac equivalents
    Safe web fonts

  • Page does not render correctly in Firefox on Windows.

Scroll submitted page bellow first half. You will see layout broken, text through text, white and black stripes in the background. Have you any idea what causes this problem ?
    http://www.fairelanoce.fr/catalogue/categorie/animation/

'''Edit: I didn't scroll down far enough the first time, I see it now.'''
Looks fine for me, but I have disabled some settings that can interact badly with certain graphics cards.
Could you try turning off a few Firefox settings. I'm not sure whether you need all of these, but no single one seems to solve the issue for everyone.
You usually need to restart Firefox in order for these changes to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, Browsing section, uncheck the first 3 boxes:
    # Use autoscrolling
    # Use smooth scrolling
    # Use hardware acceleration when available
If you OK that and restart Firefox, is the issue resolved?
Note that if some of the content getting chopped or striped is Flash video, there may be other issues.

  • My iGoogle page does not render correctly - only header & footer are shown.

Running on Windows 7 (64 bit)
I was using Firefox version 3 (whatever the latest was yesterday)
When I go to www.google.co.uk/ig I see only the header and footer of the page and no widget area in between.
Page works fine in IE so it's not a Google thing.
This happened following the installation of the Adobe Download manager.
    So far I have tried:
    # Disabled the Adobe DLM addin
    # Disabled all addins
    # Wiped the cache & cookies
    # Created a new profile
    # Deleted the profile folder
    # Installed FF4.0
Still can't see my iGoogle page.

I have a particular jsp page, which has heavy volume of data and it does not load completely in IE, but loads perfectly in Firefox and Safari.
It is a really perpleximg problem that occurs only when the volume of data is large. Why would you be sending large amounts of data to a JSP? Sounds fishy to me.
None of the people in my team were able to solve this issue.Well if you provided your team with the same amount (none) of information you provided here, then I would understand.
Please send in your suggestions as to why this is happening or if there are any known bugs in IE.Personally, I think it's the flux capacitor.

  • Web pages don't render properly no matter which Web browser I'm using

I've run across a very curious issue - Web pages do not render correctly in either Internet Explorer (version 8, 9, 10, 11 - I've tried them all) or Firefox (latest version).
If I visit a Web page that contains a commenting system (Disqus, Facebook, etc.) none of the comments are displayed. Moreover, I've noticed that none of the Greasemonkey extensions (all JavaScript) that I've installed in Firefox run, either. I don't expect
an answer to the Greasemonkey extensions issue, but I think it helps to shed light on the overarching issue. Something seems to be blocking JavaScript but I can't figure out what it might be.
I've a Windows 7 Pro box with both IE and Firefox as well, and everything works fine on it - all Web pages render correctly.
    I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
The suggestion provided by Dan Randolph is worthy to try.
I also suspect this could be css conflict issue.
Would you please try the compatible mode or lower document mode in IE 11 for testing?
Manage Internet Explorer 11 compatibility using document modes
    http://technet.microsoft.com/library/dn321432.aspx
Try F12 IE developer tool to debug the part of load CSS.
In addition, you may try to create a new user account for test. If it works, please refer to fix a corrupted user profile.
    Fix a corrupted user profile
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/fix-a-corrupted-user-profile
If creating a new profile doesn't help, it's probably an issue with that browser, you may check the Add-ons and IE Security zone settings.
Meanwhile, I would like to share the link below with you:

  • Web pages posted to .Mac using iWeb do not render correctly on IE

Okay, let's face it - most people out there use Internet Explorer (IE) to view web pages. I just published my web page using iWeb onto my iMac account. The web site renders correctly on my Mac, but does not render correctly on my PC using IE at work. Several other people using IE saw similar problems. For example, IE does not show the links until you run your mouse over them. Also, the text renders as an image (you cannot select text individualy). What do I do to ensure that all the world views the site correctly? Thanks.

    Welcome to the discussions, stoma.
You'll have to essentially dumb your site down to IE level. Get rid of the cool effects, the transparencies, the rotated images, basically everything that makes iWeb so impressive to use. Make a nice plain site with no frills and you're 90% of the way to near 100% IE compatibility.
Take all of your images and edit them outside of iWeb (like with other web applications) and that's another significant chunk. There will be a few bits left over, but some of those will be things you can't do anything about (like some of the page elements being created as .png's). You'll be as close to IE compatible as you can get with iWeb.
Post your URL to let other users post as to what your SPECIFIC site would need.

  • Oem web page will not display after O/S dst patch

    Hello,
The Grid web page will not display after we DST patch for the o/s.
All below start fine without any errors:
    emctl start oms
    emctl start iasconsole
    opmnctl startall
    emctl start agent
The Grid web page is not displaying. What might happened after the o/s dst patch that might cause this? Our GRID is 10204 with a 10104 repository. The 10104 has not yet been dst patch.
What logs should I be looking at to figure why the web page is not displaying? Thank you.

Provide the output of these comands:
    $OMS_HOME/bin/emctl status oms
    $OMS_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl status
    $AGENT_HOME/bin/emctl status agent
    $DATABASE_HOME/bin/sqlplus "/ as sysdba" << EOF
