Our Windows PC crashed with all our music on it. There are copies of both purchased (thru iTunes store) and from our own CDs on another HD in a backup file. They are not linked to a Media file. Is there any way I can put this music on my new computer?

The syncing of music is one way, computer to phone. See this helpful document from a fellow user. Credit goes to the author.

I recently got a new laptop, it has no music on it and I have been plugging my iPod in and listening to music that way. Tonight it decided to sync with my iTunes and deleted all of my music. Is there any way I can get my music back?

My MacBook was wiped of all my music and everything else, and now my iTouch is the only device with my entire music database. My iTouch is old. (Version 6.1.6, Model number: MC547LL/A) Is there any way I can put all the music on my iTouch back onto my MacBook? I hate that I could lose my entire music library by dropping my iTouch in the toilet.
I've tried to plug in my iTouch into my MacBook, but I can't seem to give the music-transfusion without subscribing to iTunes Match or just completely wiping my iTouch.
PLEASE HELP MEEEEEYour i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss. To use a device with a different setup you transfer the old library from a computer or a backup directly to the new setup, not the device to the library. Media syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only purchases from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software. See this document by turingtest2: Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991 -
My iphone has turned off and is now not working. I plugged it into my computer and it said it was in recovery mode and i had to restore it to fix it. Is there any way i can fix this problem without loosing all my files and photos through restoring it?
There's only one thing you can do: make an appointment with Apple genius at the Apple retail store for a out of warranty replacement.

Whenever I try to sync my iPod Touch 5th gen with iTunes I get an error message saying "The iPod "*****" could not be synced because the sync session failed to start". Is there any way I can fix this?
B-rock, thanks for posting the above. I actually have the same issue, running Windows XP and I don't have that backup location, \Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\. When I go to Documents and Settings\(username)\ there's a AppData folder followed by:\LocalLow\DataMngr\ .
I have the latest update, 5.0.1 and I have the iPod Touch 3rd gen.
I have tried removing itunes and all that is associated with it then reinstalling and keep getting the same message. I've reset my ipod thinking that would help but still, no backup.
In iTunes, Edit, Preference, Device there are no backups.
What am I doing wrong, can you help?
Thank you! -

You are seeing someone else's shared iTunes Library.
Is there a way I can download this music?
No, not without enabling Home Sharing, which would require using the same Apple ID and the other account holder's consent. -
Any attempt at purchasing through Itunes Store and all of a sudden it keeps telling my apple id is disabled, even though it is not.

My iPhone says that my charger is not supported, but it's the charger that came with my phone. Is there any way I can solve this issue?
Try cleaning out the phone's port, of pocket fluff and such. Carefully. And check the mains adapter similarly, but less likely.

HT1329 Is there any way I can get the music from my iPod to my new laptop?
So recently my computer broke, taking all of my music with it, and now I only have the music on my iPod. Is there any way I can take the music from my iPod and put it on my new laptop?
You can't transfer song files from iPod to computer using iTunes (except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store). However, there are methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
Once the song files are on your computer, you can add them to your new computer's iTunes library. -
Most of my music is from CDs that I don't have anymore. I've got over a thousand songs and most of them were deleted when my computer crashed. Is there any way I can get my music from my ipod back onto my computer? Any sort of program you can buy? Thanks for any help, I really appreciate it!

I have a question is there any way I can put music from my iPad to my iPod? Some one said to me yes by using a DRM
Would those work if I am using the 4g wifi hotspot on the ipad to get the music onto an ipod touch? I am willing to give up third party music if this would work. Just not sure if it would work since the 4g wifi has that 50mb restriction

After upgrading to OS Mavericks, I realized that the Partition for Windows is gone. I have really important data on this drive without a back up. Is there any way I can get this data before reformatting. Is there any third party software for receiving the data or any possible way? Money is not a limitation to this fix. Please help!!!
sure pretty simple. make a backup of your current settings
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766?viewlocale=en_US
then restore device from old backup you need pics off of
then import pics to computer
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
you may need to save pics to camera roll first
then restore the new backup and sync pics back to phone via itunes

Is there any way I can get my music back?
After I downloaded the latest iTunes, all of my music, including things I'd bought from iTunes store and other music disappeared. The song titles and info etc. all still shows up in my itunes library but an error message pops up saying that the songs can't be located. I assumed that ment that the iCloud wasnt working, and I'm not able to log into iCloud at all. To make everything worse I've gotten rid of the computer with the original songs on it. Is there any way for me to get my music back or am I just out a few thousand dollars worth of music?
