Out look shows Not responding

I am using outlook 2007, Recently i had getting a problem when i open my outlook inbox which cannot working properly, Its just hanging the outlook and just shown not responding. could you please help me to solve this.

Hello Anj,
Try to open it
Outlook in safe mode, might be problematic third party plug-ins are interrupting.
Note: Type “Outlook.exe /safe” command in Run or Search.
As a second solution (in-case if safe mode does not help to resolve it), perform a repair on the Outlook PST File.
Other factors which can freeze/hang the Outlook:
Antivirus/Firewall programs
Infected message or email
In addition, also check the settings of Outlook profile also. Hope these steps will resolve the bug and reply if you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to post back.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    You stated that you can ping ACS from the router, did you try sourcing the packets from the GigabitEthernet 0/0 interface (which is the one TACACS+ will try to use, given the configuration that you posted)?
    What does the network path between the router and ACS look like (ie, any firewalls, NAT, etc)?
    Can you connect to port 49 at the ACS IP address from the router sourcing the packets from GigabitEthernet 0/0 ?
    Are you using VRFs?
    What version of IOS?

  • Attempt to generate WebHelp (Primary Layout) after updates hangs and then shows "Not Responding"

    Hello!  I am attempting to generate after making a number of updates to topics in a large project using RoboHelp 7.  RoboHelp 7 was recently installed on my machine by an IT staff person. It has been several years since I worked with this project in RoboHelp and at that time we used RoboHelp 5.  I have attempted to generate WebHelp but the application hangs and shows "Not Responding" about half-way through Updating files.  When I look at the folder (test folder on my computer's Desktop) to which I try to generate, about 2/3 of the topics and subtopics actually show in the folder even though the generate process failed. I have tried to work with IT but no one there knows RoboHelp. I cannot identify (don't know how exactly) where the problem is and how to remedy. Can someone please offer some guidance?  I'm very rusty with RoboHelp's processes...it seems as though something has gone missing but I don't know what to look for and where to start looking!  A co-worker has also recently had RoboHelp 7 installed on his computer (per IT remote install) and has helped update topics other than those I've updated in the project. He also encounters this problem when he tries to generate the project on his workstation.

    Thank you, Peter!  The project is a large policy manual which resides on a shared network drive but we place a copy of the project's "working" folder on our computer desktops to allow updates and maintenance.  When we generate the project after making updates, the compiled project loads into a separate subfolder in that "working" folder and a member of our IT department pulls the files out of that folder to "deploy" the manual to our users. This process has worked for over four years, however, for most of that time, there has been only one person doing the work and that person is now out of the office for an extended period of time.  I rather got tossed back into the fray at the last minute when it was decided that a set of updates was needed by November 1--a deadline that has not been met, of course.
    Since posting the plea on the forum, I've had ongoing contact with an IT staff who tells me the best solution right now is to save the files we each updated, request a file restore back to the last known good state, and then try to re-incorporate our changes to the clean version. In the interest of time, we are pursuing that...your additional thoughts and feedback about the situation would be most welcome.

  • Adobe pdf printer save dialog box opens in the background - progress bar shows Not Responding

    I have two users who have Acrobat X Pro version 10.1.4 that are experiencing the same things.  First, one person just changed laptops and the new one has a fresh Windows 7 Enterprise X64 image and new installation of Adobe Acrobat X Pro.  When he used the pdf printer for the first time(after opening the program and accepting the license agreement) he was in MS Excel '07 and chose file>print>Adobe PDF and then the progress bar came up and then showed not responding.  After he did this a couple of times with me standing there I noticed that the save dialog box was opening in the background because I could see the icon blinking on the taskbar.  He said that his old computer never did this and that it would always open up and ask where to save the file and never show 'not responding' on the progress bar.  The other person having the same issue is running the same version but she has had the program installed on her machine for a few months and an older version on before that.
    Is there a way to make the dialog box show as soon as you print to the Adobe PDF printer?  What is causing this?  Is there another way to create a pdf from MS Office like the add-on?

    It definitely sounds like your Nano needs a new battery at this point.  You can have Apple replace it for a flat fee, send it into a third party service center to be replaced for much less, or you can purchase a new battery online and swap it out yourself if you feel up to it.

  • 'Core Sync' app is showing 'not responding'

    When ever I pick any desktop fonts from Typekit, I found it's not synced to my computer. I tried restarting the Adobe Creative Cloud. Then it will sync properly. Similar problem is there with Adoble Cloud files getting synced.
    Later when I check Activity Monitor, when every this problem arises 'Core Sync' app is showing 'not responding'. At times, instead of 'Core Sync' app, 'Creative Cloud' will be showing 'not responding'.
    Any idea how to fix this? It's being very difficult with work with Cloud files since every time I update a file on cloud need to restart creative cloud to upload the file to my colleagues.

    You can't do anything, you should just wait.

    I'm getting a similar error over here. Sporadically some sites won't load specifically in Safari; they open just fine in Opera, Firefox and Camino though. This is really annoying.
    It's pretty clear it's nothing network related…

  • CoreAudiod keeps showing not responding

    Everything here good after upgrading to 10.5. However I have noticed in my processes that COREAUDIOD keeps showing up not responding. I can kill it and then it will restart but goes unresponsive again after awhile.
    Any one else seeing this? Any thing to look for?

    Yep,
    I have exactly the same thing, and there's no fix for it.
    Some people have mentioned deleting everything to do with DigiDesign (an audio plug-in), but I don't even HAVE those in the first place, yet coreaudiod decides to hang.
    Very frustrating.

  • Firefox hangs, shows Not Responding, on start up and at random times

    Firefox is hanging on start up and at random times during use. When I click the desktop icon it takes about 20-30 seconds and then opens the usual Firefox start page. However as soon as I move the mouse or try and use anything on the screen it hangs. The Firefox logo top left in the blue bar turns into a white box. After about 2 minutes it reverts to the Firefox logo and all starts working normally.
    However every now and then the same thing happens, white box, and the Not Responding words in the top blue bar. Sometimes the whole webpage goes blank white, with only the very top blue bar and side scroll bars showing.
    It reverts to normal after a minute or so.
    This has happened with the last few versions so it is not due to the last update.
    I've tried most things (plugins, stop hardware acceleration, etc) except the one below - maybe someone has an answer to why I can't do the one below?
    I've read that you can try and correct by right clicking the decktop icon, choosing Properties, and then Select Compatibility and my Windows Program which is Windows XP SP3. However when I try this the latest Windows showing is 2000. - Maybe this is my problem - how do I get the comnpatibility to Windows XP S3?
    Thanks

  • Daemon shows "not responding"

    Greetings,
    This problem relates to a previous post where I had GetProcessPID() crashing. Thats been fixed and the program is working flawlessly now. However, now in the activity monitor, my daemon is always showing as "not responding". I've done some research on this and GetProcessPID() is what has made the OS add me to the list of applications that need to be pinged. I have been playing around with CFRunLoop and such but I can't get the message to go away.
    my general program before was:
    void mainControllerLoop() {
    for (;;) {
    dostuff();
    sleep(fiveseconds);
    This is what I thought would fix it:
    void mainControllerLoop() {
    for(;;) {
    dostuff();
    CFRunLoopRunInMode(kCFRunLoopDefaultMode,5.0,false);
    It made no difference.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

    I'm sure there is a good reason not to do this, but I found someone else hacking up the event loop for their own purposes, and managed to twist it to perform how I wanted. If anyone else needs a version of RunApplicationEventLoop() that returns after a definable amount of time, feel free to give this a try. Essentially, you are left with, void RunApplicationEventLoopTimed(void), which processes an application event loop for the number of seconds defined by MACPOLLDELAY, then returns. Its accuracy in this version is pretty low, but it can be improved by changing timeToWaitForEvent to a smaller value. It would never be worthy of setting your watch to though, as the actual time the function takes before returning depends on the messages it processes and if any of them block for awhile.
    This fits into my program that is just an infinite loop of dosomething() and wait5seconds(); and seems to process messages properly.
    #define MACPOLLDELAY 5.0
    static EventHandlerUPP gEventLoopEventHandlerUPP; // -> EventLoopEventHandler

  • Thunderbird keeps showing 'Not Responding' on all my computers.

    Trying to access TB on my laptop last night all I got was 'Not Responding' which effectively locked me out of my email. Today in the office I find my other two computers are the same. TB seems to be reloading the same email time after time, presently I have about 4 versions of each email on the screen but every time I try and access them I get the same 'Not Responding' message followed by screen whiteout.
    My business depends on my email account I am desperate.

    First off the screen went really weird with everything three times the normal size. I managed to start windows in safe and then started TB. However since I wasn’t connected to the internet and the computer would not connect I don’t know how much use that was.
    I started TB in safe and although it loaded I could do nothing with it as the mouse had no function, I couldn’t click on anything, move anything or close anything down.
    I appreciate your help this is getting very serious for me now.

  • Question: What causes Thunderbird to show "not responding" when deleting messages

    Program does not respond for a few minutes when deleting one or more messages. Messages downloaded by POP3 account. There are no add-ins & plugins were temp. deactivated. Delete works OK in safe mode but not in normal mode.

    All these antivirus suites are getting too involved with things they have no business bothering and wind up sucking up all the resources available. I wish they would just go back to looking for and catching viruses.

  • Application, once built, shows "Not Responding" in the toolbar, and it doesn't go away

    If you have an application that is running with some kind of timeout, (My application will send a message, and wait for a user definable period of time for a reply). If this tine is over 5 seconds, and the user clicks on the application, the app sets its status to "(Not Responding)". This is mirrored on the toolbar.
    Once the application begins responding again, the title bar of the app changes back to an active state, although the representation of the app on the tool bar stays in a "(Not Responding)" state.
        I have attempted to stop the user click having an effect by setting the cursor to busy and setting the "Click Disable" to TRUE, but this does not help.
    Any ideas how to get round this one? Or is it a bug?
    Cheers, Alec

    I must not be explaing myself propperly.
    Every application that is open has an instance in the task bar
    As you can see here, I am running outlook, labview, firefox and MSN, but don't tell my boss
    Somtimes, when windows things an application has crashed it will place the phrase "(Not Responding)" next to it's name in the task bar. It will also place the word "(Not Responding)" In the title bar for the application.
    I have written a program that calls a .dll. The function of this .dll is to read incomming data up the RS-232 socket of my PC. I can set a timeout on this, lets say I set it to 1 minute.
    The application is running, I call the .dll to read incoming data, then I don't produce any incoming data. The application will wait, up to 60 seconds for some data, but in the mean time, Windows thinks the LabVIEW executable file has crashed, so places the word "(Not responding)" in the taskbar AND in the title bar. At this point I send my data up the 232, the data is received and displayed by the application. At this point Windows forgives LabVIEW and the "(Not Responding)" status is revolked. This phrase is then removed from the title bar, but IS NOT removed from the task bar.
    Does anyone know if we have control over this, or should I report it as a bug to National Instruments?
    Many thanks guys,
    Cheers, Alec

  • Why does Mozilla always shows (Not Responding)

    When things stop moving, it will say Mozzilla (Not Responding) and then every thing stops. Sometimes if I wait I will get to move it some but in keeps coming up all the time. I've seen the reason for that listed before on Firefox a month or two ago but I kept putting it off because I was getting the Not Responding message again.

    I see flowplayer playing this MP4 file.
