we are planning to develope one pp report .out of 25 fields we identified 23 fields.but i did not find the related infoobjects for operation short test,system status.how can i identify related infoobjects for these two infoobjects.i analysed all pp data sources & cubes.please give me suitable solution

there is a table called "RSOSFIELDMAP"
goto se11 go to the table and enter your datasource name
It will give the R/3 Field and corresponding bw infoobject name
this will work only if your datasource is standard...
Else
go to tcode - "RSD1" in BI there u can find all infoobjects in BI....

In Report Painter, need to find out how a field is defined.

I'm trying to find out how a field used in a current report is defined. For example, columns 2-13 are monthly columns. Double clicking on the column name (April), for example, brings up the box "Element Definition: April;$Year. The Value Field is Net Sales. Clicking the drop down box brings up a group of fields, including Net Sales.
The Field Name for Net Sales is MA0001. How do I find out how this field is defined and what accounts are included in it?

Thank you for your answer. I was able to track 'Net Sales' as a part of a Key Figure Structure and as an element of Key Figure 'Net Sales'. However, when I get into CO-PA, Information System, there is no line for 'Report Components'.
There are the following lines/folders: Display Line Item List, Define Report,Current Settings, Background Processing. I looked at all the possibilities in those line items/folders and nothing was there. Is there another way to get at it?

Firefox 7 is forcing me to fill out a form field that isn't required. I've used FF on this site for years but when I upgraded to FF7 it no longer works. IE it works fine.

It's our internal applicant tracking systems (resume database). It works fine in IE and all previous verisons of FF but in FF 7 a bubble icon pops up stating that "Please fill out this field".
The field is not required but states "Require all of these words" if you to run a search based on those parameters.

Hi,
go to transaction WE30 and give the corresponding IDoc type and enter. Then you will get all segments for that IDoc type then double click on segment. A popup box will come in that it will show a check box whether it is a mandatory segment or not. And segment editor button will give all the field details.

What's the point of an air card and icloud for backup fi it doesn't work in the field for some odd reason?

Config settings to gray out "Reqted Qty" field while creating TO via LT03

Could anyone please me in this. I would like to gray out "Requested Quantity" field when creating TO via LT03 transaction. Can anyone please let me know where the config setting needs to be maintained inorder to gray out the "Requested Quantity" in LT03 transaction.

Hi,
no there is not such a functionality.
From a field settings perspective you may work at account group level, =>OBD2 or OVT0
and/or at transaction type level => OB20
With OB20 you can distinguish between creation and change.
You may also react per authorisation. See F_KNA1_EAN. In that case you may gray out fields individually.

Out of 46 fields sap supporting only 16 fields.

i have one excel sheet.that excel sheet contain 46 fields.my client wants to same format of bw report.that data related to sd data.i checked all fields.but sap ECC Supporting only 16 fields out of 46 fields.rest of 30 fields are in zrepors.zrepots are recentely deveolped by ABAPERS.and 16 fields are coming from 5 tables.in this sccenarios what can i do. please give me your guidelines.i will assign points.

List View as in Report Format will only 'Truncate' the technical name headers. If the generated list is in ALV format, we can re size the length. As your Infoset's technical names (SAP generated) are too long like F34___SARGS0EMPLOYEE; something of this sort! One idea is to extract only the technical names & perform a VLOOKUP on the existing names, but this is a manual process & your o/p resides on AL11? So, guess there can be another method too... Use Open Hub Services to export your data. As you are performing a simple filter on your Infoset and populating this data to some data target, you can define these filters in the DTP level 'Filter' linking both your Infoset <-> OHS target. As a o/p you will be getting 2 files in the o/p. One the meta data text (Infoset's schema/skeleton) of technical names & field headers, plus next the filtered data from the Infoset.

Currently we use HP Office Jet 100 mobile printer for our other handheld devices. We are looking for something battery powered with Bluetooth. We do not wat to use USB cables and do not want to buy converters.

need to change the screen layout to be able to view
this. Take note service order type RD08 will be
excluded
11. PM Hours      AFVGD-ISMNW                            This field is in IW41 in confirmation base on the
                                                                             order created. This field will be the actual time
                                                                             spent. This will correspond to the Faults Completed
                                                                             This means only orders with system
                                                                             status TECO will be pull. Take note service only
                                                                             take order type RD08.
12. Spare Cost   Spare part cost                              This field will be in IW33 under cost tab, and cost
                         PMCOEA-IKOSTENKGR                tab in item level. This will be the actual cost of spare
                                                                             part after TECO. This will include all order type.
13. Credit Note   Credit Memo                                 The programs need to pull out credit memo which is
                                                                             reference from the contract. If there is a credit memo
                                                                             reference from the contract then the value will be net
                                                                             price per equipment.
