"out of memory" box again and again
When i'm adding clips to a sequence, a separate box'll come up that says "out of memory". I have about 293 GB left in storage according to what the hard drive info says so I don't know what the problem is. I can get it to work again after hitting save a few times but it still happens again after a few minutes. Why is this happening and how do I stop it?
Well, no, David, that's not the only (nor even the main) reason this happens.
For instance, I have 4 gig of Apple-approved RAM, and I'm getting this message.
A lot of times what it is is a corrupt file playing havoc with the math (dividing by zero will ALWAYS run you out of memory before the poor processor can figger out the answer!).
In many cases, one can determine where the corrupt file is by marking a short segment and "rendering in to out". Start with one half of your sequence...if it renders, then the problem is in the second half...if you get the stupid error message, then keep rendering short parts of the first half until you come to the part that triggers the message...and there, you'll find the corrupt file.
Now this won't solve the problem every time, but it's worked for me (in fact, I'm here now because I'm gettting the message, and solving it). Try it.

i want to update my ipad2 when i used to download the os it shows error as network timed out and i repeated again and again always it shows that network timed out but the apps are downloading but large apps are't why?
Try temporarily turning off all your firewall and antivirus software until the download has completed.

I have tried to re-install iTunes 11.0.3 at least 6 times.
I have also downloaded iTunes 11.0.3 at least 5 times.
I have changed my Apple ID password.
I have downloaded (again, I've done that many times) iTunes 11.0.3, then I switched off the iMac, then restarted the wi-fi modem. Switched on the iMac, loaded iTunes, same problem.
I tried to just switch off the wi-fi, did the same as point above, same problem.
Even tried to change the system date to 2038, this only seemed (although I doubt it) to fix the "not responding" issue which I had this morning.
The Apple ID password issue, where it asks me for the password loads and loads of times (probably 50 times or more), one after the other has been happening for about 3 days now.

iTunes Problem, can't seem to find a solution online.
I am running OS X 10.8.3 on an iMac, have just loaded iTunes 11.0.3 a few days ago.
Firstly, I'd open iTunes and it would immediately say it was not responding, I'd have to force quit, try again, re-boot, try again etc. I tried re-installing iTunes, changing password, everything to no avail, then changed my date to 2038, and voila it started responding (no, don't ask me, I just read in online and was desperate enough to try it). Of course, I don't believe that this actually helped, I would like to know what did help or if there is something specific one needs to do to fix this.
I have not been able to get rid of this problem: Whenever I try to make a purchase it asks for my Apple ID password, dozens of times until I give up and press cancel, cancel, cancel.
Why does it do this? I don't want to purchase anything because I can't keep typing in my password again and again. I'm not exaggerating.
As I mentioned, I have tried to re-install iTunes, about 6 times, and I changed my password. I still get the same problem.
Also, my iTunes still looks like the classical iTunes and doesn't have the new interface.
Has anyone experienced this and was able to fix it, or does anyone know what the problem is? Go to Solution.It's probably unlikely that there will be more updates for the N96 - 30.033 was over a year ago, and the phone has been out of product for some time.
To answer your points:
1 & 2 - I have been using the N96 since September 2008, mine is a generic Finnish/Swedish model and it has never had this issue.
3 - Captured photos are not deleted from the phone. The photo gallery doesn't reflect folders, all of the 'albums' are based on a database. If that database corrupts, the albums appear empty but your photos are NOT deleted - they are simply no longer flagged as captured - they will still appear in 'all photos', and are still in the images file under the correct month in File Manager.
4 - The N96 was introduced at a time when Nokia didn't put SIP and VOIP clients in phones because they were in league with the people behind Gzmo. Sorry, but as I said it has been a long time since there has been an update and I doubt one will be added now.
5 - All S60 phones can be victim to reboots from time to time, just as Windows crashes from time to time. Personally, I have found that Maps 3.0 causes reboots a fair bit. One issue is a lack of phone memory on this model, occasional reformats to rest back to original condition can help, as does being careful not to store things unnecessarily in phone memory when mass ùeùpry or card is an option.
6 - This repeats from point 4.
7 - Correct, but hardly an issue as radio is for listening to rather than looking at - most users will have the phone in a pocket or holder as they walk down the street listening to the radio. -

Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. -
Facetime is supposed to come with Mac OSX 10.9.1 right? It suddenlt requires me to sign in with Apple ID. So I did and it still won't open. The worst part is that it doesn't even recognize my Apple ID no matter how many times I try fill it out again and again. I've seen this happen when I first bought the Imac last year, it was fixed by replacing the host file (with some help from the community here). I did the same thing again, it didn't work.

Disk Utility repairs again and again- no change and Firefox on "go slow"

Two issues:
1. My Firefox (running newest Flash Player, updated last week as per Firefox's request) 6.0.2 has this awful habit of running slow, ie stalling with the beach-ball every ten minutes of use or so, for about a minute or two before continuing as though nothing were wrong. This started after I had a terrible problem with my MacBook Pro 13 inch, 2.66GHz running OSX10.6.8 simply not starting up and me needing to spend hours making it boot up (I couldn't afford to do a complete reinstall- did an archive one instead). I don't know why and it doesn't happen with Chrome, meaning it is the browser itself, right?
2. No matter how often I repair permissions the same list appears again and again, right after each other. Now I HAVE searched before posting and I understand that ought not be anything to worry about but in the past when I did a repair right after the first it had nothing TO repair the second time. Meaning that it would run the repair and end it without listing anything TO fix the second time around. Now it just goes through the whole process again, taking the same length of time. If it were just a repeat of a repair list, surely it would just list it and not run the whole 9 minute long process again, right?
Note: I also have a warning which I know I can safely ignore (as it is on the list of http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1448?viewlocale=en_US): Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired. but I don't know if this is what is causing the repeat of the repair, even if harmless in itself?
I am almost inclined to do a clean install of everything but have a few projects on the go which require me to have this machine up and running "as it is" with all the project files intact and cannot afford the time out this total reinstall would require.
Any hope for getting it to run "happier" and repair and stay repaired? And Firefox? Clean install advised? Or?Talk about weird. I just received my new mini to replace the one that died last week. I did a backup from time machine and was having problems with the Audio MIDI setup. So I tried repair disk permissions to see if that would help. I repaired the permissions and the Audio MIDI setup still would not work correctly. I verified the permissions again and there were still some that needed repairing, but not as many as the time before. So it did repair some of them. I ran repair permissions again and it said all was fixed. I verified again and the same list of files needed repair. I did it a few more times with the same result.
So I erased the disk and did a clean install. I did the software update again and got everything to the latest versions. 10.6.8.
I verified permissions again and got a list of files that needed repairing. I repaired disk permissions and then verified again. A shorter list this time that were the same list of files was there from before I did the clean install including the 'Warning: SUID file' thing.
So I looked to see if I could change the permissions myself and found that most of the files that it could not fix were 'Alias' of files.
So Disk Utilities can't deal with alias? -
I dont know what happened, i get charged from my father visa credit card. I play Ragnarok Valkyrie Uprising game which can buy shop item(name ruby). First time i tried to purchasing 210 rubies it cost 189 In Rupiah(Indonesian currency) but it was failed and showing dialog box unable to purchase ruby. So I tried again and again bought rubies with different values (10 rubies,50 rubies,210 rubies) but that unable to purchase dialog box always appears. Kicked Off Email Again and Again and Again
I am constantly kicked off email. I can not read my emails. Constanly asked to signin again and again. I called verizon and they said they would contact me and resolve the issue. Has been several days and I do not even get an explaination. I have a business account (not residential) and still I have no access and no call and no explaination from verizon representatives as to the problem. Something as simple as getting emails (I would think) should be simple to resolve.

Though it's unlikely to be wrong if things were set up properly in the first place, as a check go to Mail Preferences>Accounts and check that the server setting for IMAP (incoming) is imap.mail.me.com (not just mail.me.com).
Your next step either way would be to go to System Preferences>iCloud and sign out, then sign back in again. (You can ignore warnings about data disappearing - your calendars etc. will disappear when you sign out but reappear when you sign back in). -

One thing I noticed yesterday in trying to resolve this (as I'm getting all kinds of errors with almost every program referencing this (Finder, iTunes, BetterTouchTool, SizeUp and Radioshift among others), is that I do not have the xmail.osax in the /Library/ScriptingAdditions/xmail.osax. When trying to locate online - as well as calling up your link - http://lestang.org/article63.html, it looks like it is no longer available.
I'm not even sure why this is trying to be called as from my understanding this is a Mail Client.

My i tunes are crashing again and again

i just started my mac book and its not too old and started the the i tunes but its crashing again and again within few second.
I have no idea what to do as i am a recent apple user.Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Step 2
Still in the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports for crash reports related to the process. The report name starts with the name of the crashed process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the entire contents — again, the text, not a screenshot. In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.) Please don’t post shutdownStall, spin, or hang logs — they're very long and not helpful. -

Same JSP/Servlet is executing again and again
Hello,
We have some JSPs which do a lot of processing and is 'alive' for a long period
of time. If we use the JSP with small amouts of data, it is fine. But when we
use the JSP with lot of data, it seems to 'go in a loop'.
It is processing the data again and again and again and brings down our server.
We do not think it is the code that is wrong - as it processes perfectly if the
data is small or when our server is not busy. This problem happens if the data
is lot and the server is also busy. The JSP seems to be executing again and again.
Is there some type of 'refresh' logic in weblogic that refreshes the JSP/servlet
and makes it 'execute' again and again.
We are using WL 6.1
