Out-of-office Email msg still running after upgrading to Server 10.8

After upgrading from 10.6 > 10.7 >10.85 on the same day, the out-of-office email notification of one user is still on. This is currious as I understand that 10.8.5 no longer support the out-of-office notification through the GUI. Am I wrong?
Does any has an idea where to start?

I have what sounds like a very similar issue.
I had my Denon 3312ci working perfectly with Airplay from my 2013 iMac running iTunes. Upgraded to iTunes 11.1.3, and now when I attempt to Airplay direct from iTunes to the 3312, it plays for about half a second and then stops. Displayed on the Amp then says "Assigning Network". The amp starts dropping ping packets at this point. About 15-20 seconds later the pings start coming back, but no Airplay.
I tried different network cables, resetting the microprocessor, a different switch, changing between DHCP and static IP. Was about to make a warranty call to Denon, when I thought maybe I should try Airplaying directly from iphone and ipad. Much to my surprise, it worked from those devices.
I prefer to use my iMac to Airplay rather than ipad/iphone as I found I got next to no audio drop outs using it that way (they are both using wired network), where as ipad/iphone occasionally would get a moment of silence in the middle of a song.
My network set up is fine. I can use internet radio and connect to DLNA services fine on the amp. It is just airplay between iTunes 11.1.3 and the amp where the issue lies.
No fixes as yet, but I have logged a support call with Denon Australia to see what they say.

  • APEX_030200 jobs still running after upgrade to APEX 4

    Hi,
Some time ago we upgraded to APEX 4. I didn't remove the APEX_030200 schema yet.
Now I noticed that there are still 2 jobs running under the user APEX_030200. Shouldn't these have been removed during the upgrade to APEX 4? I also don't see any APEX_040000 jobs running, is this ok? Can I safely remove these old APEX 3 jobs?

    Update:
The jobs for APEX 4 are scheduled with the new DBMS_SCHEDULER, that's why I didn't see them in dba_jobs.

    1. Should be possible to do that; go to the Utilities menu and select 'reset password' before starting the installer. (while booted from the DVD of course)
    2. Standard installation of SL only replaces system components; applications, user data and preference settings should not be affected.
    3. But you do have a backup just in case, don't you?

I've run this by the folks from Cakewalk forums and had some suggestions to try but to no avail.
    http://forum.cakewalk.com/sonarstdexe-still-runs-after-I-close-and-exit-program-m2960813.aspx
There is nothing on this in google that I can find "wdmaud!CWAVRenderer::FreeResources+0x8f"
Just wondering if there is anything I can do to see if I can fix my system, others in the forum can't replicate this issue...
Would re-installing the audio driver help?  I don't want to do this unless I have to or if there are any other suggestions to try...
    Thanks in Advance
    Jim

    Hi,
There are no physical audio or midi devices attached.  I have HP ENVY 17 j005xt Notebook PC and has built-in audio HDT High Definition Audio CODEC sound card - and has the latest available drivers for this card already installed supplied by HP
    as OEM.

  • ICloud email won't work after upgrade

iCloud email won't work after upgrade to Mountain Lion.  Says pop 3 server is timing out. Solutions?

I'm sorry, as I keep saying... in MAIL I get the message that it cannot cannot to server!? Did you read the initial problem at all! I know exactly where mail is, although, the diagram was wonderful.
    My problem is TWO FOLD.
The MAIL app doesn't work with iCloud but does work with my POP3 email for my office.
Second problem is the iCloud on Safari doesn't work as I get the error message as the screenshot above.
There is NO reason why the @me.com email shouldn't work through the iCloud site, as you can see, there is a also a Mail icon.

  • Old emails won't load after upgrade to Mountain Lion

old emails won't load after upgrade to Mountain Lion

See if anything in here will fix it:
    1. Hold down the Command and Option keys as you click the iPhoto icon.
The Photo Library First Aid window opens:

  • Xcode failed to run after upgrade to lion

Xcode 4 will not run after upgrading to Lion. When I run Xcode 4 I get this message:
I got Xcode 3 to run after installing JavaForMacOSX10.7 from Apple download.

There is a free update to XCode 4.1 in the Mac App Store for Lion.

  • Caldavd failing to start after upgrade to Server 3.2.1

This problem, caldavd not starting after upgrading to Server 3.2.1, is a variation on the theme of PostgresQL not starting.  It too boils down to a postgres database not having been updated properly.  Below are the steps needed to fix this problem:
    sudo su -
    # Change to the directory with the postgres database for the calendars and contacts
    cd /Library/Server/Calendar\ and\ Contacts/Data/Database.xpg
    # Disable caldavd for now
    launchctl unload -w /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.c alendarserver.calendarserver.plist
    # move the broken database out of the way and build a new empty one
    mv cluster.pg broken-cluster.pg
    mkdir cluster.pg && chmod 700 cluster.pg && chown _calendar:_calendar cluster.pg
    sudo -u _calendar /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/usr/bin/initdb "/Library/Server/Calendar and Contacts/Data/Database.xpg/cluster.pg" -E utf8 --lc-ctype=C
    # Finish the upgrade job that never completed by explicitly invoking the previous version of postgres:
    sudo -u _calendar /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/usr/bin/pg_upgrade -b /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/usr/libexec/postgresql9.2 -B /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/usr/bin -d /Library/Server/Calendar\ and\ Contacts/Data/Database.xpg/cluster.pg.original_for_upgrade/ -D /Library/Server/Calendar\ and\ Contacts/Data/Database.xpg/cluster.pg
    # Mark the newly upgraded database as no longer in need of an upgrade
    sudo -u _calendar touch cluster.pg/.NoRestoreNeeded
    # Start caldavd back up
    launchctl load -w /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.c alendarserver.calendarserver.plist
And everything should be the way it should have been in the first place!

Hi, I have the same issue and Linc Davis pointed me to this thread from Re: Server Calendar migration failed.
Your solution already got me somewhere, so thanks for that
I need to note that my machine is on Yosemite (10.10.1) and I'm running Server 4.
The only issue I have is that I get an error message when running pg_upgrade, the log says:

    2. IIS has been reset.
    3. Restarted the HUB/CAS server.
    4. Created public folder database.
Even after doing all these activities, owa is still inaccessible. Please help.
    Regards,
    Ankur

    Hi Ankur,
From your description, you can't access to OWA after upgrading Exchange server 2007 to SP3 rollup 13. Firstly, please locate to C:\ExchangeSetupLogs and make sure that it is a successful installation. If not, this issue often occurs.
If it is a successful upgrading, please follow the steps below for troubleshooting.
    1. Open IIS Manager, click Default Web Site -> Authentication, make sure that Anonymous Authentication and Windows Authentication are enabled.
    2. Click Default Web Site -> SSL Settings, check "Require SSL" and click Ignore.
    3. Click Default Web Site -> HTTP Redirect, check Redirect (enter your
https://URL), check "Only redirect" box and Status code Found 302.
    4. Expand Server Configuration -> Client Access ->double click owa ->Authentication tab. Check the Basic Authentication and check the Use forms-based authentication button Logon Format: Domain\user name.
    Hope it helps.
    Best regards,
    Amy Wang

  • My computer keeps saying firefox is still running after I have closed it and then I have to restart my computer to use the internet again. What's the problem? Also, I cannot print my emails.

Why do I need to restart my computer every time I've closed the internet and try to reopen firefox?

Yep tried that and it would not stop. I tried running portable Firefox and couldn't, no surprise as it is already running. I had to reboot my PC. You may think that acceptable. When it takes 15 minutes and you don't normally turn off your machine as it needed on then it's a bigger deal.
I ran the portable version again as V5 is crap, basically and there is nowhere to find version 4!!! Thanks for that Mozilla.
It tells me that Firefox is running. I did manage to kill that version at least but why or how is FireFox running after a reboot and using 62 Mb when doing nothing to boot.
Firefox 5 is really slow at remembering URL's when typed in the whole app slows right down and it take 10-15 sec to come up with the same as V4 did straight away. I have to admit my PC in the office does not behave this way with version 5 but this is the real world.

  • SharePoint Workspace 2010 still installed after upgrade to Office 2013

I'm working on a deployment of Office 2013 in a corporate environment.  Using the OCT, I've customized a package which is working well on machines that don't have previous version of Office installed.  However, many of the existing machines currently
have Office 2010.  After executing the Office 2013 package, we're noticing that while the upgrade works, SharePoint Workspace 2010 and the Office 2010 Tools still exist in the Start -> Programs menu.  I also see Office 2010 in Add/Remove programs
(along with the new Office 2013).  The OCT is specifically set to uninstall previous editions of Office during the upgrade (which is the default behavior).
I'll seen a couple of other posts like this on the forum, but unfortunately no answers.  How can I *completely* uninstall Office 2010 (including SharePoint Workspace 2010 and the Office 2010 tools) during the upgrade to Office 2013?  This
corporation doesn't need SharePoint Workspace 2010; my guess is that it was included by default with the Office 2010 package that they rolled out in the past.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
By default, the uninstall option in Office Customization Tool (OCT) will not remove SharePoint Workspace 2010 as SharePoint Workspace is no longer include in Office 2013.
Try to create a separate Office 2010 .msp file, set Microsoft SharePoint Workspace and Office Tools to "Not Available" and deploy it
prior to the installation of Office 2013.
Or you can do an Uninstall upgrade. Basically, use the /uninstall [ProductID] command-line option to uninstall Office 2010 from the user's computer first and then after that is finished, install Office 2013.
Here is a great example of how to perform an uninstall-upgrade for enterprise deployments :
http://blogs.technet.com/b/odsupport/archive/2011/04/06/how-to-perform-an-uninstall-upgrade-to-office-2010.aspx (Note, the steps are wrriten for Office 2010, but it holds good for Office 2013.)

  • My computer freezes when I try to log in to You Tube and is still "running" after I close it. How can I go back to my the previous version of Firefox?

After downloading Firefox 4 Beta, my personal website does not display as it used to. The text is now aligned left when it was centered. Also, when I try to log in to You Tube, everything freezes. I have to use the computer task manager to close the browser. When I try to open Firefox again, I get a message stating it is still running and I must close it or re-start my computer to open Firefox again.
I would like to return to the previous version of Firefox.

You can get duplicate installation disks from Apple Customer Service.  You will have to provide them with the MBP serial number and there is a charge,
Another option is to purchase the Snow Leopard retail disk from the Apple online store:
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
Either option should allow you to install an OSX.
    Ciao.

  • IPhoto 9.5 still running after updating to 9.6

    Hi,
I'm having a strange problem with updating iPhoto to 9.6.
The updage panel showed two available updates following the MacOS X recently upgraded: iMovie and iPhoto 9.6.
For some reasons, the upgrade buttons freezed to a gray color once clicked.
After a few attempts I decided to restart the machine, and updated Little Shitch.
From that point, I rapidly saw the iPhoto blue progress bar after reopening the update panel, and it rapidly moved to the downloaded updates section while the iMovie was still in the available upgrades section.
To make sure everything went fine, I opened iPhoto, clicked About and was surprised to see that the version was still 9.5 as opposed to version 9.6 supposedly installed from the update panel. Restarting the computer again didn't make any change.
From now, I have the update panel saying that version 9.6 is installed, except that version 9.5 is still running.
What should I do now in order to have the upgrade done again ? How should I backup my library to avoid potential loss ?
    Thanks.

First make sure you don't have two iPhoto apps on your hard drive.  Do a search for iPhoto.app and see what you get.  If there's only one and it's 9.5 move it to the Trash bin in the Dock (don't empty as yet), go to the App Store and download iPhoto 9.6 again.
The above is assuming you do have Yosemite installed.

  • Task manager says LR 2.2  still runs after closing - really?

Wondering why, a good while after closing LR2.2, the task manager says LR is still running as a process. I've closed the application normally from the GUI, nothing in the taskbar. Much smaller footprint, down to say 100mb from "really up and running" footprint of >750mb.
If real, what is it doing?
I'm suspecting this may be why I have problems ejecting a portable drive w/ Vista saying "drive in use" when I don't have a "visable application" on the desktop that's attached to the drive for anything. Without an explicit "eject," I'm hesitant to disconnect the portable drive without taking the machine down (a drag). Running LR2.2 64bit on Vista w/ 4gb ram. (runs quite well in general). Thanks for comments.

Hello and thanks to both of you.
I copied the previews completly over and deleted the whole preview folder. After that it seems to be much speedier. Only from time to time it hangs up, but only every 10 attempts or so.
So far, I think your answers helped.
Thanks again for the fast and good help!
    Greetings
