Out of Rehab on one loan and starting rehab in another

I am out of rehab in one loan (which were listed on my credit report as 10 loans) and just started rehab on another loan. I am trying to refinance my home and need my credit score to go up, as soon as possible. I have the following questions:I see that the 10 loans that I was in rehab for aren't on my report anymore but my credit score hasn't changed. Will my credit score change because of this?My employer owes me money for tuition reimbursement. If they do pay me, which loan should I pay down?If I pay down the loan that is out of rehab, will that effect my credit score at all? I think if I pay the loan that is in rehab now, they will apply it to the fees first, and I don't want to do that. I find myself looking at my credit score on this website every day to see if it has changed. I've become obsessed.  Thanks so much for all of your help and advice.

Once you complete rehab and your loan is picked up by a new servicer, they will put a clean tradeline on your report, backdated to when the loan was originally opened.  This can boost your score because it often increases your average age of accounts, it might also give you some points for credit mix if you don't have any installment loans reporting. I would apply the money from your employer to the loan with the highest interest rate.  Wait until the loan you want to apply it to is done with rehab and make the payment to the new servicer.  Paying down installment loans has a very minimal impact on your credit score, so I wouldn't hope for a boost from this.

  • How do I cut out an image from one photo and paste it in another photo?

Help!  I did use the scissors and eraser tool to cutout unwanted background, and now I have an image I want to save and copy to another photo.  The problem is that Elements 11 won't let me open up another photo at the same time, or let me copy the selected image to clipboard to paste on a different photo.  Adobe's  info. on how to do this seems to be sketchy.

    Try this:
Open photo B, the one that you want to add an object to. Minimize this.
Open Photo A, and using one of the selection tools, e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, make a selection of the object that is to be transferred to B. You will see "marching ants" when the selection is complete.
Go to Edit menu>copy to place the selection on the clipboard
    Go back to photoB
    Go to Edit>paste
With the move tool, position the object and resize with the corner handles of the bounding box.

    Polly,
usually there are multiple models of MacBook Pro per model number, but in the case of your model number (A1502), there’s currently only one model for that model number: 13-inch Late 2013.
To reset your MacBook Pro, you’ll need to boot into Recovery mode by holding down a Command key and the R key as you start it up. When the Mac OS X Utilities menu appears, select Disk Utility. On the left-hand side of the Disk Utility window, select your internal disk (most likely the top item of the list). On the right-hand side, select the Erase tab. For the Format dropdown, select “Mac OS Extended (Journaled)”. For the Name input box, “Macintosh HD” has traditionally been the default name — I don’t know if that’s still the case for the Late 2013 models. After that, press the Erase… button, and erase its entire internal disk. When it’s finished with the erasure, exit Disk Utility, and select Shut Down from the Apple menu. When you start it up again, OS X Internet Recovery will redownload Mavericks from Apple’s servers and reïnstall it on your internal disk. Once it has reïnstalled, run Software Update to get it up to date, and adjust the System Preferences to your taste.

Thanks for responding....but isn't your potential solution designed for Windows users? I have a Mac.
If it does apply to Mac, I am also hoping for something simpler as this could take weeks to isolate the problem and it would be more efficient to use another browser for mail
Also, I should have added, this problem occurs only occasionally and seemingly only when I am taking some time to compose a message

Sprint is a CDMA carrier, same as Verizon so it will work on CDMA.

  • Is it always this hard to order a PPV on one tv and watch it on another?

I just had FiOS tv installed over the weekend.  I ordered the UFC Fight on my kitchen receiver and then went down to watch it in my basement - only to find out that it wasn't available on that TV.  I had this resolved eventually, but it was a pain.  I had to wait around for 20 minutes until a customer service agent could refund the event from one receiver and order it on another.
I don't remember having this issue with Directv.  I seemed to be able to order an event and watch it on any TV in the house.  Is it always going to be this difficult?

It's terrible, really really bad. At&t is way better at the moment customer service wise, but in truth verizon and at&t are true money ****** and both stick it to you till it hurts and both do it till they lose so many customers they can't no more. Then they start some multimillion dollar ad campaign, basically saying they are better and please give them another try and the cycle starts all over again. Oh, or they get sued, like they have and lost so many many many times before, right now most phone companies are breaking a minimum of fifteen laws on billing, charging, advertizing and services.
I'm curious, can you name one law they are currently breaking? I really have no concept of the law when it comes to billing, marketing, or advertising.

  • Can you edit a person from one photo and add them to another photo?

Can you edit a person out of one photo and add them to another photo?  Like if you need the head shot from one photo to replace closed eyes in the other photo?  Thanks.

Thank you very much!  Does this require software to be purchased?  I'm new to Photoshop.

    Welcome to the forum.
Yes, this is done often. You will need to create a Mask of that person, to separate them from the background of the original Image.
I like to do this with a Layer Mask, as it offers control, and really does not alter the Image, so you can go back and make changes.
Let's say that you have Image 01 w/ the head of your subject, and want to place it into Image 02. In Image 01, make a rough Selection. I would include a bit of extra background, as we will take care of that in a moment. With that Selection active, Copy the head shot. Go to Image 02, and Paste it. It will Paste in its own Layer. Ctrl+T (Free Transform) can be used to Scale and also position that Layer with the head. Once you have that Scaled and positioned about where you want it, create a Layer Mask. In QuickMask Mode, just paint in the additional Mask to remove all traces of the background that came in with the head shot. As you can paint OUT, and also paint IN the Mask, you can work on this, as many times as you wish - even next year.
For getting that Layer Mask looking good, work slowly, also see this http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/photoshop/l/blrbps_5agirl.htm.
I've got another tutorial, that addresses the hair area, and will post that, when I find my bookmark.
    Good luck,

  • How can I partition my external hard drive supporting mac OS in one partition and windows OS in another?

Hello everyone, how can I partition my external hard drive supporting mac OS in one partition and windows OS in another?

    OK. Start with:
    1. Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
    2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to two (2). Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
    4. Click on the Erase tab in DU's main window. Select one of the two partitions, preferably the first one, change the Format type: to MSDOS then click on the Erase button.

I have like 50 pages worth of information and I am trying to look for the easiest way to do this. In illustrator and Photoshop, its pretty easy. Wanting to know if it is the same because I have been trying but it is not there. Just in case it matters, Im using CS5 on a pc. Help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Martin,
    Please follow the below steps.
    Step 1
Create the separate layer. Select the content you want to move.
    Step 2

My new apps have changed to try within creative cloud; and my installed apps will not authenticate.  I recently canceled one subscription and replaced it with another.  Can you please look at it and correct?

Solution for Windows 8.1: Locate the C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE folder.  Log out of Creative Cloud and from Task Manager end task for Creative Cloud.  From the OOBE folder delete ALL files.  Do not delete folders (com.adobe.accc.apps & com.adobe.accc.home).  When complete, restart Creative Cloud and log in with ID and Password.

    Coastal,
Frank gave you the exact answer to your question.
However, I would like to ask if you are indeed asking the right question.  Do you really want different libraries?  The implications are that you have to "switch" libraries to see what's in the others, and so that your searches don't work across all of your pictures?  If so, then you asked the right question.  If not, you may be more interested in relocating your masters to multiple hard drives so your library gets smaller, instead of breaking up the library.

how you you take an ipod off of one account and transfer it to another account?

If you mean iTunes libraries, sync it with the desired iTunes library. If you mean iTunes Store accounts, an iPod can contain content from five of them at once with no special actions needed.

  • How can you take a photo from one event and put it in another, without dragging to desktop and dragging back into iPhoto and moving it to the event folder I want it in.

As the title says I need help on how to take a photo from one event and put it in another, without dragging to desktop and dragging back into iPhoto and moving it to the event folder I want it in. Right now when I want to move a picture from one event to another I drag it to my desktop then delete it from iPhoto then I drag it back into iPhoto and put where I want it.An example would be taking a photo from the Christmas event and add it to a specific person event.  Can I do that within the events section without all the dragging. Also is there anyway I can remove duplicates from iPhoto without going through each and every file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Apple doesn't make it easy to do what you want.  However, here's how I do it.
Select the photo you want to move and create a new Event for it via the Event ➙ Create Event menu option.
In the Event mode select the new Event with the one picture and drag it onto the Event you want to move the photo to.

I thought that if I bought it the apps on my macbook, they would be avaliable on my imac like the mobile devices operate. The macbook has 10.6.8 cause its a older model and I think lion would slow it down. Any help??

Just redownload it on the other computer by logging into the App Store with the same Apple ID you used to purchase it.
