Out of the blue, my computer stops working and refuses to power up. Can anyone help?
So I am posting this on a Thursday night. Monday morning and night, my computer was working fine. Come Tuesday, however, and my computer won't turn on. I don't think much of it; I shrug it off and head to school. Come back from school, and the computer still does not turn on.
Now I get worried. So I:
1,) I make sure the cords are all secure and plugged in, which they were. The computer is plugged directly into the wall; it is not on a power strip. The green LED lights up when i reconnect thew power cord after disconnecting it. But, after I hit the power button, the computer flickers and the light turns off.
2.) I swap out the power cord on my computer eith the one for the monitor. Still no luck.
3.) My friends told me it just might be dust. So I removed the shell, and used a can of compressed air. MUCH dust came out. I put everything back together, and still the computer does not work; the same thing occurs as was before.
4.) Now I go through a much deeper cleaning, removing fans and cleaning it all by hand, still to no avail.
I have tried everything I know to fix this thing. Know I am reaching out to the community. Anyone have any advice/suggestions? Has anyone also run into this problem? I own and mainly use an HP Slimline s5310y. This is the computer that broke. It's a 64-but computer running the Windows 7 (64-Bit) OS. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Downloaded 10.5 iTunes and when I put in an audio book to import into iTunes as soon as I begin typing book info notice appears that iTunes has stopped working and windows 7 closes iTunes. Can you demonstrate your problem with something smaller? Learn out how to do a combo box with just a page or two and then appy that to your big problem. That's how I'd do it. - MOD -
My Mac book Pro seems to have a power problem. I have used a telstra prepaid USB for 18 months as broadband. It has been great.
Yesterday, I downloaded Mozilla Firefox.
Sometimes later, I got a message that the USB ( telstra broadband toogle) had been disabled because it was drawing too much power from the computer and could cause damage.
I trashed Mozilla to see if that would fix the problem - it didn't.
I tried a second USB and got the same message.
I notice that the power % to my computer is slowly dimishing, even though I have the computer plugged in.
Looks like I have a reasonable problem.
Can anyone tell me how to sort out the problem please?In your Itunes account.

when i open itunes its normal and then out of nowhere it says "itunes has stopped working" and i have to click 'close program'. help?
Having the same issue here....a quick fix is to just minimize the window, and immediately maximize it. It will now fit the screen. Trouble is, after you close it, you'll have to do it again when you re-start itunes. The good news is it takes all of about 2 seconds. Apple should fix this. Should.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).

Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

I am working on some books that I have had no problem creating in Indesign and this week, I was doing something and got an error message and had the program crash while I was working on something and lose my unsaved work. It happens all of a sudden and has been frustrating. Thought it was an installation issue, but this also happens on the newest version of CS6.
The original files (“books”) were created in CS4.
What I’m doing is copying a template for the appendix that was established in the first book into all subsequent books.
Here is the process that I used on CS4 for the first 10 books –
1. open a file that already has the completed new appendix.
2. Open a file that needs the new appendix
3. Select the appendix pages from the pages menu in the completed file and “move” them to the new file.
4. Voila!
When I started using CS5 this worked for one book. Now the last book is giving me an error message during step 3. So, I select the pages I want to move and click “move” and then I get a message that says “the program has unexpectedly stopped working and will close”. This is the same message I got with CS6.Same problem here. Firefox keeps freezing, sometimes for 5 minutes, then either starts working again really slowly or I get the plug-in error crash. This last time I copied what windows said about the error. This is the info:

I upgraded my iPad (3rd gen) to iOS 7. When I go to iTunes and look at the summary and to the "Apps" list tab, iTunes stops working and shuts down. What can I do? I am using a Windows 7 machine.
Hi thanks for the encouragement. It's not that the severs are "swamped", iOS 7 has been successfully installed.

down. Its pretty frustrating because many of my apps require me to manually transfer files into iTunes first to view
them. Not sure if the servers being swamped is an issue for me, unless they release a bug fix through another version of iTunes.

I went in to use itunes today. It opened up right away, but I can't play any songs nor enter the store. It displays the message ' itunes has stopped working' and then closes. I tried removing itunes and reloading. Same thing. This is on my PC. My wife can still open itunes on her PC. Can anyone help?

Have an iphone 5c 8g. The home button has stopped working. Did the same a few months ago and recovered 24hrs later. Can anyone explain this problem. Phone still in warranty. Had steam issue recently but this was after last home button episode and no evidence of damage.
If you are playing in hockey arenas a lot or if you are bringing it into bathroom same time as shower it may not seem like much but overtime the steam can acquire and build up in the phones usb dock flex cable swell as the home button flex cable. Bring again into apple store and should be covered under warranty again. could also be a delay in a 8gb 5c software may just be very lag.

When I press the iTunes button on my ipod touch I get the message 'cannot connect to iTunes store' . My wifi is working fine, I can connect to safari & you tube, no parental setting in place, and time and date are correct. Can anyone help please? I have restored my ipod to factory settings and rest it.
I also tried moving the date forward by a year and then moving it back to normal and it still doesn't work. i can't find an automatic update of time zones on my itouch to turn this off.
