Out Put for Fax

Dear GURUS
Please explain me how to configure FAX for output types..and wre we need to maintain fax numbers and from where it will get print, pls tel me the process

Hi there,
Fax numbers are maintained in the customer master general address data.
But to get the fax, fax machine should also be setup in the SAP system. Contact the BASIS team to setup the fax machines. You have to provide them the location, address, IP address. This is same as how you setup the printers in SAP.
Then in the O/p contorl prog that is assigned to the O/p type, put a logic that the system picks up the fax number mentioned in the customer master & then triggers the O/p. Also in the condition records, communication medium maintain the fax machine name as how you maintain the printer.
Pls note that in the O/p type transmission medium, maintain as Fax.

As you have maintained many key combinations in your access sequence and as you are telling you have checked exclusion indicator.
My suggestion is maintain the key combination Sales Organization/Billing Type or billing type and assign this in the last step and don't check the exclusive indicator. As system picks the last key combination only.
Now maintain condition record VV31 for any of the these key combination of the above two and check system will give the output.
if you have copied the standard RD00 output into ZD00 output change in the output procedure the output type to ZD00 from RD00. and assign it to the billing document type

SPRO >Sales and Distribution>Basic functions>Output control>Output Determination>Output Determination Using the Condition Technique>Maintain Output Determination for Sales Documents
Maintain Condition Table
Maintain Output Type-and assign the FAX related output program to that out put type.
Maintain Access Sequences
Assign Output Types To Partner Functions
Maintain Output Determination Procedure
Assign Output Determination Procedures
Maintain the condition record for that output type in VV11 transaction with *transmission medium 2-Fax.*
Make sure that Fax machine to SAP system hardware settings completed by the BASIS people.

Use the following method
Defining Output Devices for Printing Using E-Mail
To print using e-mail, you must specify an output device in the print window that has been specially set up for this print method. You can create the output device through the device definition.
This definition creates an output device that sends the print data as an attachment to an e-mail. You can then open and print the print data with the appropriate program.
·        The access method M must be available in the device definition (transaction SPAD -> Output Devices -> Change -> Output device -> Create/Create Using Template -> HostSpoolAccMethod -> Host Spool Access Method).
If the access method M is not available, you must first run report RSPO0075 in transaction SE38, to activate the access method. It will then be available to you in transaction SPAD.
To do this, enter the name of the report in the Program field in transaction SE38, and choose Execute. Select the option Add Access Method, and choose the access method M as the access method to be added.
·        In principle, you can use any device type that can be used in the device definition. However, you must ensure that a suitable printer or display program is available on the target system.
For e-mail printing with device type pdf1, there must be a PDF display program available, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, so that you can open and print the attached PDF file as required.
Procedure
If you want to create a device definition for printing using e-mail, follow the procedure below:
       1.      Call transaction SPAD, and choose Output Devices.
       2.      If you are not in change mode, switch to this mode by choosing Change.
       3.      You can now do the following:
¡        You can create a new device definition by choosing Output Device -> Create.
¡        You can use an existing device definition as a template.
To do this, click the entry for the output device that is to be used as a template, and choose Output Device -> Create Using Template.
       4.      Specify the name of the output device and fill out the mandatory fields of the individual tab pages as follows:

The recipient of the e-mail is determined in three steps.

If the user in the print window selects an output device with access method M for printing using e-mail (and for releases up to SAP Web AS 620, then chooses enter), a field appears, in which the user can enter an e-mail address if required. The length of this mail address is restricted to 50 characters.
                            b.      If no e-mail address is specified, the e-mail is sent to the address that is specified in the device definition.
The length of this e-mail address is also restricted to 50 characters.
                            c.      If there is neither an e-mail address specified in the print window, nor in the device definition, the mail is sent to the mail address from the user profile (transaction SU01). By default, the creator of the mail is entered here.
This function was originally developed to replace the frontend printing function that was missing up to SAP Basis 4.6 for the SAP GUI for HTML. The user should be able to send the print file to himself or herself by e-mail and to print it.
       5.      Save your entries.
The message text of the e-mail is defined by default, however, you can change it, as described at the send of SAP Note 311037.
For more information about printing using e-mail, see SAP Note 513352 in the SAP Service Marketplace.
Result
You can use the output device defined for access method M to print using e-mail. If you choose a print function such as , you can specify this output device in the following print window.

hi friends i used split container for my report out put .here iam displaying two alvs in the two parts of the conainer.
i put some heading on the container in one box, is it possible to download all the out put into one excel file.

There is no standart functionality for this. You need to code for your custom excel output.

Out-puts for mac mini

while sitting by my computer the other day i realized that my music stopped playing and my screen lost all video. my screen said "no input". the computer was not "sleeping", it just stopped all out-put the only way i can get it to go back on is to restart the computer. this happens at random times while i am using it. what is going on?

I'm not sure, but I would try a few things.
Check if your system light is still on?
Check if you can ping your system from another computer, if available. You should find the IP address of your computer before it blanks-out on you.
Is the bottom very hot? Try turning on its side when it's running. Maybe it's overheating? This is just a guess. I always run mine on its side, as the bottom gets hot.

Do check the NACE transaction...
Message schema is nothing but a program which will come into action whenever there will any need of output...
So, check your message schema...Define the output type as per your requirement...
Condition table consist of all those Fields which will be taken into consideration, whenever you trigger the message output...and those fields will be taken into consideration for the req. output...
Access seq. will provide you the scequence in which the fields are be read and perform an output...
At last printer determination is main, by which you'll print output...

Hi,
In standard SAP R/3 system the PR can not be printed out, due to PR is internal document! But I know in SAP EBP system, you can print out the shopping cart as you want! So if you want to print PR in SAP R/3 you have to develop the self-customizing program for it!

Out put for MIGO for multi items.

Dear All,
i am unable to take print out for Multi items in migo tranction. eventhough spool is not generating. If i select send immdiately option then document is update terminating, Document is not save. if i select 3rd optin " send by "send with application own tranction" then document will be saved and there is no spool as well as print option in Yellow colour.
plz suggest me for multi items printout. And also suggest me for can i maintain in Tr code MN21 for single as well as collective slip print option for single output type.

what is the output type you have assigned for the printing.
in mn21 you create a output type we03 with tr.event as we and print version as 3(collective slip ) at the time of Migo.
print indicator as 1.
you can also take the print in MB90.IN THIS you give the document no and processing mode as2 for reprinting and then execute.

How to print the out put for each customer in table

Dear SDN Team Members!
I've created a report and the output is displayed on the smartform for the same.
In this report, I've selected a list of customers and the report has to print the list of transactions being made by each customer in Smartform.
These details must be printed seperately for each customer.
I'm thinking of control statement AT NEW & AT END. But i don't know how to use them exactly so that the output is displayed seperately for each customer in the Smartform.
Please provide syntax and points will be awarded for.

Guarenteed 16:9 out put for you tube etc

i keep trying to output footage 16:9 with all setting reading 16 9 i think anyway but when uploaded to youtube only get 4 3 display why? and what export settings should i use for this and every social media

Out put for delivery block

I have a requirement that when there is delivery block or billing block in the sales order,It should not print the output.When it released and saved then it should print the output.

you can create your own requirement for the output type. this requirment should maintain in the output control procedure.
in the requirement you have to check the field delivery block and billing block.
