Outbound - 820 - PEXR2002

Hi,
I'm using IDOC PEXR2002 & message type PAYEXT for outbound 820. I need to provide Invoice Header Text in the itme level data, but the Idoc doesn't return this. Please advise.
Regards,
Gajendra

if any of your required fields are not available in IDocs then you should extend the idoc.
Please go thru the steps provided in the Book "ALE/EDI and IDoc Technologies for SAP" By Arvind Nagpal..

  • Dynamic file naming for 820 outbound transaction

    Hi All,
We have a requirement to set the file name of outbound 820 based on few fields of xml payload from the backend BPEL process. We are currently implementing batching by sending the action name in (jca.jms.JMSProperty.ACTION_NAME) property. We are using SFTP and B2b 11.1.1.6. I've referenced the following http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/b2b-integrations/learnmore/tnb2b11g002-326857.pdf
    . Please share your thoughts.
    Thanks in advance!!

For batching scenario's filename passed from back-end is not considered. For batching scenarios, you have to provide the "Filename Format" in your partner channel configuration and at runtime B2B will automatically generate the filename accordingly. If you are working with AS2 then you may find "Filename Format" setting under "Exchange Protocol Parameters" of your AS2 channel (starting from 11.1.1.6.0). Filename format can be specifid using any one or all of below parameters -
    %FROM_PARTY%
    %TO_PARTY%
    %DOCTYPE_NAME%
    %DOCTYPE_REVISION%
    %MSG_ID%
    %TIMESTAMP%
    %MSG_TYPE%
    %INREPLYTO_MSG_ID%
If you are working with 11.1.1.5.0 or lower versions of 11g then please raise a SR with Oracle Support to get an appropriate patch for providing filename format in AS2 channel configuration.
For FILE/FTP/SFTP protocols, filename format setting is available in all 11g versions.

  • Inbound EDI 820

    Hi Guys,
What is the relevant SAP tables that holds Inbound EDI 820 (PEXR2002) in SAP. Your help is highly appreciated....

  • Mapping from PEXR2002 iDoc to EDI 820

We are planning to use XI to map from the payment advice (PEXR2002) iDoc to EDI 820.
We have 2 options: (1) Use XI and an EDI adapter (e.g. Seeburger); or (2) Use XI's own mapping functionality.
If you have done iDoc to EDI mapping with either of the above 2 options, please briefly advise about your experiences and how much efforts it took to develop the mapping.
    Thank-you
    Bac Quan

    Hi Bac,
Although it is possible to create an EDI message in an XI mapping (or XSLT), this is not very nice.  The use of an EDI adapter (iWay or SeeBurger) is strongly recommended.
The other way around (rom EDI to XML) is hardly feasiable without an EDI adapter.  Although I haven't worked the SeeBurger adapter, it looks quite nice.
    Kind regards, Guy Crets

  • EDI 820 Outbound Payment advice EUPEXR

When I am trying to generate an EDI through payment run F110, it correctly generates one for Message type PAYEXT and Idoc Basic type PEXR2002. However, in addition to that it is generating one for Message type EUPEXR and Idoc Basic type IDCREF01.
What is the purpose of this EUPEXR and why is it generating even though I havent set it up in the Outbound parameters of the Partner profile?
    Thanks!

Have you checked this thread in SDN?
PEXR 2002, Stopping generation of EUPEXR inbound message type.
This is automatically generated by SAP, and deals with the eletronic signature details usually accompanying an electronic payment instruction set. The thread gives a way to prevent output of the IDoc (not preventing generation through!).
The Building Block documentation for In-House Cash clearly states:
When you create PAYEXT, EUPEXR is created automatically. Recommendation: Create a port to which EUPEXR can be sent, if you do not need this Idoc type in SAP In-House Cash. You can delete this file defined for the port at specific intervals.

  • Outbound Pexr2002

We have a lot of Outbound Interfaces from SAP which require the payment information ( REGUH REGUP PAYR, BSAK, BSEG details). Is there a way we can configure SAP so that every payment run ( f110 ) would create Outbound IDOCS for all the payment types ( checks , etf, wires, etc ).
I am aware of the EDI settings for checks but then I wanted to integrate all the thre payment methods so that whenever F110 is executed I generate a PEXR2002 which I assume will contain all the necessary fields and the EAI tool then can pick relevant fields.
Please advise. ( Will the program RFFOALE1 be of any help in this regard ?
    Rgds,
    Ajay

    HI,
You need to maintain the following configuration,
SPRO-> Financial Accounting-> AR and AP -> Business transactions -> Outgoing Payments -> Automatic Outgoing Payments -> Payment Media -> EDI Payment orders and debit memos -> Define EDI compatible Payment methods for a house bank
Once you enable a payment method for EDI, it can be included in the Payment IDOC.
The program to use for creation of IDOC in F110 is RFFOEDI1.

  • EDI 820 to Vendors

Please any one send the steps to check my outbound payment advice 820 to suppliers.
    Thanks,
    RK

    Broad question.
I don't have here the step by step but the main process works like this:
You run the payment run. Based on Cut cheques you produce Idocs. You could here produce Idocs both for your vendor and for the bank.
    IDOC: PEXR2002, message type: REMADV.
Make sure that you have defined the payment advice
    types in Tcode OBCQ.
    Also check the following :
Financial Accounting -> Accounts Receivable and
    > Accounts Payable
    > -> Business Transactions -> Incoming Payments ->
Electronic Incoming Payments -> Payment Advice Notes
-> Define further processing of Payemnt advice notes.
    Good luck man!

  • Inbound 820 configurations

    Hi,
we are implementing EDI with one of our customer for receiving payment advice(820). They send check directly to us and later payment advice. Could anyone tell me what are the configurations to be done apart from those EDI-related for incoming payments. though complete configuration steps are appreciated, any help will help us doing it.
Also, after receipt of payment advice, it shows only header level amount, whereas in item level, no amount are shown. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing in mapping from X12 to IDoc format??
If anyone has got mapping spec for inbound 820, do share.
    Thanks,
    PB

    Hi Praveen,
The 820 Inbound the Message Type is REMADV and
    Idoc type is PEXR2001/PEXR2002.
First of all, verify whether you get the item information that you are looking for in the Idoc. If you don't see it then request your partner to send the information.
    Data Creation in Idoc
IDocs are text encoded documents with a rigid structure that are used to exchange data between R/3 and a foreign system. Instead of calling a program in the destination system directly, the data is first packed into an IDoc and then sent to the receiving system, where it is analyzed and properly processed. Therefore an IDoc data exchange is always an
asynchronous process. The significant difference between simple RFC-calls and IDoc data exchange is the fact, that every action performed on IDocs are protocolled by R/3 and IDocs can be reprocessed if an error occurred in one of the message steps.
While IDocs have to be understood as a data exchange protocol, EDI and ALE are typical use cases for IDocs. R/3 uses IDocs for both EDI and ALE to deliver data to the receiving system. ALE is basically the scheduling mechanism that defines when and between which partners and what kind of data will be exchanged on a regular or event triggered basis. Such a set-up is called an ALE-scenario.
IDoc is a intermediate document to exchange data between two SAP Systems.
*IDocs are structured ASCII files (or a virtual equivalent).
    *Electronic Interchange Document
*They are the file format used by SAP R/3 to exchange data with foreign systems.
*Data Is transmitted in ASCII format, i.e. human readable form
    *IDocs exchange messages
*IDocs are used like classical interface files
IDOC types are templates for specific message types depending on what is the business document, you want to exchange.
WE30 - you can create a IDOC type.
An IDOC with data, will have to be triggered by the application that is trying to send out the data.
FOr testing you can use WE19.
    How to create idoc?
*WE30 - you can create a IDOC type

An IDoc is simply a data container that is used to exchange information between any two processes that can understand the syntax and semantics of the data...
1.IDOCs are stored in the database. In the SAP system, IDOCs are stored in database tables.
2.IDOCs are independent of the sending and receiving systems.
3.IDOCs are independent of the direction of data exchange.
The two available process for IDOCs are
    Outbound Process
    Inbound Process
AND There are basically two types of IDOCs.
    Basic IDOCs
Basic IDOC type defines the structure and format of the business document that is to be exchanged between two systems.
    Extended IDOCs
Extending the functionality by adding more segments to existing Basic IDOCs.
To Create Idoc we need to follow these steps:

    Create Idoc Type ( WE30)
    Create Message Type ( WE81)

  • Automated error email notification when outbound IDOC fails

    Hi,
The requirement is that whenever the outbound IDOC of message type PAYEXT, basic type PEXR2002, fails, then email has to be trigerred to a group id.
I had suggested to write a report program that runs as a job. If the IDOC goes to error status then mail will be sent from this report. Client prefers it to be done through workflow.
There is a standard process code for outbound IDOC failure handling EDIO (we40). standard task 7989 has been assigned to this process code. I dont want to modify this standard task as I am not sure of impact.
Terminating event for this task is 'ERRORPROCESSCOMPLETD'.
I have developed the workflow that has trigerring event 'ERRORPROCESSCOMPLETD' and bound with the IDOC number. This will send mail to the group id with the IDOC details
Now issue is that, I am not sure if standard process EDIO will be trigerred automatically, or should we configure anywhere. Since this is standard outbound IDOC, I am not able to add the process code in partner profile.
Please give your inputs or any other alternate solution to send mail through workflow when  outbound IDOC fails.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
I guess in your outbound partner profile for PAYEXT. you need to add process code  EDIO in message control TAb. WHich will cause to trigger the workflow which will send the notification.

    Solution:
Workaround the issue immediately by removing the "ns1:" qualification on the operation for the binding.jca entry in the composite.xml and redeploying.
    For example:
    From:
    <binding.jca config="BAPI_COMPANYCODE_GETDETAIL_invoke_3P.jca"
    operation="ns1:BAPI_COMPANYCODE_GETDETAIL"/>
    To:
    <binding.jca config="BAPI_COMPANYCODE_GETDETAIL_invoke_3P.jca"
    operation="BAPI_COMPANYCODE_GETDETAIL"/>

  • Creation of EDI 820 for outgoing payments in SAP

    Hi Experts,
We have a requirement where in we need to create an outgoing  payment file in EDI820 with in SAP.
We basically need to create specifications in EDI820 format for the bank to print checks and make wires and EFT payments.
That EDI820 file will be created at the time of Automatic Payment Run(F110).
Right now our client is sending a flat file to external service provider and they are creating EDI820 files and sending to the banks. Going forward the services of this service provider will be decommissioned and  an EDI820 file is to be generated in SAP and sent to the bank via SWIFT Net.
Bank has provided us a sample file and file format for EDI820. This file format contains ST, BPR, RMR, REF etc records. There records have different codes and qualifiers.
As far as we have analyzed, there are no standard SAP programs that can generate flat file in the EDI 820 format. Therefore we are heading towards developing a Z program for creating an EDI820 format.
We are facing problem in mapping this file with SAP fields. We need to know how exactly we can map this file in SAP so as to create a program to generate EDI820. If anybody has had a similar requirement (for creating outbound EDI820 in SAP) and can provide us some lead, it will be greatly helpful for us.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Have you worked on this requirement?
Could you please provide step by step instructions to configure and the high level process?

The program that sends the flat file should give you all the necessary fields, selection criteria, etc.  If the third-party constructs EDI820 from it, then there is enough data in that file for you to add steps to create an 820.
So, I'd start with the existing program, a particular outbound file and a copy of the 820 file created from it (if that can be obtained) and figure out how the intermediary converted the data to the correct format.  Piece of cake, right?

  • IDOC Type PEXR2002: Txn F110

    Hi Idoc Gurus,
I have to trigger the IDOC PEXR2002 type for payment run transaction F110.
I know there is this program RFFOEDI1 which does this job.
    My questions are :
    1) Do I have to create a Outbound Processing type ? Or it is not required as the program already does the job ?
    2) Are all relevant data populated by that program ?
    3) If I have to populate the Z-extensions of the IDOC type PEXR2002, then which is the user-exit I should use ?
Any hints will be greatly appreciated.

    Outbound PEXR2002

  • Include segment in Control record of  idoc type PEXR2002 and PAYEXT

    Gurus
This is business scenario. We are using four different flavours of payment methods. when exectuing F110 for each payment method,Program RFFOEDI1 generates IDOC. This IDOC are send to EDI team who then sends that as EDI820 to bank.
The payment method used are populated in Detail record field of IDOC . But EDI team wants that to be in Control record of IDOC .
We are using PEXR2002 and message type is PAYEXT . this is an outbound IDOC .
Is it possible to add segement in control record for each payment method?.
Thanks for your time and consideration
    Auroar

It may depend on how the IDoc is created.
    From a file.
    Sent via a Remote Call.
You would then need to code it for this Message type only.
I would take a copy of the standard Function and change that. You would have greater control then.
Why is the partner number wrong anyway. Can you not just create another partner profile(s).
