Outbound DID Masking Needed

We have a customer who wants a certain number to display on outbound calls. Here's an explanation: Customer has site A and Site B, Site B is new and has 40 phones and a new PRI with DID range of 222-555-XXXX and Site A has a DID range of 222-444-XXXX and what they have is 10 of those users coming from Site A with there exisitng extensions 222-444-XXXX . So when someone calls that users who is not in Site A anymore, the call goes to Site A gateway and routed through network to Site B and everything is fine. Now here's what they want, the user who is in Site B with the extension from site A (222-444-XXXX) to be able to call out Site B gateway with there number. We setup External phone masks on the phone, enabled Use Calling Party's External Mask in the Route List, checked mark the Use Calling Party's External in the Route Pattern and when we place a call out, we get 222-555-XXXX, it does not change the 555 to 444

They are running 4.1(3). We did correct the problem. What I did was created a new Route List and everything worked correctly. What I did find out is that someone did put in the wrong mask a week ago and just yesterday took it out of the Route List, so it looks like that even though it was blank, somewhere in the database it was still in there. So we assign the Route List to all the Route Patterns and deleted the old Route List and all is well.

    If you didn’t erase the drive and install using you AppleID, then the OS and the purchased apps are still registered to the other AppleID. You cannot change that by logging into iCloud. Apps are forever tied to the AppleID used to purchase/download them.
    You have to erase the drive and download/install the Apps using your AppleID.

    I bought an iPhone 4S at a supplier who uses Talkmobile. When I switched to GiffGaff and asked the Talkmobile people to port my number and the code which they gave me, they told me my iPhone was never locked and did not need to be unlocked. Now my GiffGaff seems to be up and running and my husband can even leave new voicemail messages but I cannot access my phone. Everytime I put the SIM in it says it's not a valid SIM and that I need a supported carrier SIM. To me that sounds like the phone is locked.

    My husband (who set this up) is going over to Carphone Warehouse right now. He seemed to think that it was locked. But when we asked the carrier we picked, they said it was not locked so they could not unlock it. 
    Are all of you answering these questions familiar with the UK carriers? I am from the US but this was bought and serviced in the UK--nothing to do with the US.
    Maybe the vendor who sold the phone can/will unlock it for us no problem. I guess I will know in the next 5-6 hours. I have just been without a phone for almost an entire day now and it's very frustrating and I thought someone might have had this exact problem and could answer the question for me outright.

  • HT1414 I recently and hesistantly upgraded my iphone 4s (32g) to the new OS.  I was nearing maximum content through itunes and looking to minimize things I did not need.

    I recently and hesistantly upgraded my iphone 4s to the new iOS 7.1  I was nearing maximum capacity on my phone (32g), via indications from itunes and was looking to minimize things I did not need to clean things up and make room for more music.  While I typically upgrade iOS wirelessly, I happened to be tethered to my cpu and in itunes this time and have had a bad result from that process and looking for the easiest and safest way of retrieving the music that shows on my phone as there but un playable.  Somehow while I have successfully created capacity on my phone, my itunes account now shows a significant amount, if not all, of the music I manully burned into my cpu and merged into itunes from my CD collection no longer resides in my itunes account.  Again I see it on my phone under music, butr the text is greyed out and if I click the song it tries to play but then smiply skips through songs with teh same appearance unitl it finds one that I bought from itunes and plays that one?
    How can I re activate or re instate my mysteriously lost or un playable music both on my phone and back into my itunes account with out losing it, or other music for that matter, again or having to manually load it back in (not something I'm likely to do).  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I had EXACTLY the same issue recently. What I had to do on my PC was go into the My computer section> click on my C drive> click on users> click on my username> go into music and then iTunes> Here you should see something that says iTunes Library. Make sure that iTunes is Closed and then take the iTune library and drag it onto Your desktop. This will create a copy on the desktop but iTunes will not see it. Reopen iTunes and you should see an option to scan for media. Once you do this iTunes should re-build your iTunes library and It should be able to sync. If it syncs fine and all your content is available go to the iTunes library that you dragged to the desktop and delete it as you should not have a new one. If this does not work absolutley do NOT delete the iTunes library that is on the desktop.
    Call Apple and let them know of the steps you have taken and request some help. This should fix it though!

    Resync it from your iTunes library.  Music is not included in your backup.

The second video clip has audio with 2 sound graph images stacked on top of each other saying R and L, right and left. The first audio clip does not have this, does not look like this. This is confusing. I thought both audio clips should look the same. What's up with this? Do I have something duplicated?

    Since it has always been very basic to backup your computer and all it's data, Apple provides no way for you to transfer music from your iPhone back to your computer.  As you know, you can re-download all iTunes purchases, but music that you ripped yourself you'll have to just re-rip again.
    You can try and find 3rd party applications that might help you.  I'm sure you'll pay, however.
    Let this be a very important lesson learned.

  • Those who took a while to active then did activate, did you need the e-mail

    Did you need the e-mail and have to click a link or something, or did your phone just start working? I am sitting on the computer waiting on an e-mail. Is this necessary, or will the phone just start working?

    The email I received was only to tell me that the activation (from T-Mobile) was in progress. They will send me another email in addition to an SMS to confirm when the process is complete.
    Aside from all of that, I was able to synch my phone with all my contacts, music, etc., access my wifi, and try out the web and a few things. But I was not yet able to make/receive a call (or maybe I just didn't know what the heck I was doing).

    It has been my experience that the factory install of the operating system by Apple is generally good and it is an extremely rare occurrence when a reinstall is required.
    Anyone that will not accept that fact doesn't deserve to had time wasted on them. Forget about them. There is better things to do in this life.

    This is probably what you need, a "Apple USB Modem" (for connecting you MacbookPro to the internet using a dial-up service)
    The new MacbookPro's do not have a internal modem.
    Airport is for wireless internet.
    Bluetooth is for connecting to wireless divices like mobile phone's and PDA's
    Your Macbook does have both Airport and Bluetooth.

    1. We have CCUM 8.6, and 50 DID that are by provider tight to main number. I have one user requesting his number shows up as external line was set up on his phone. 
    I think I should go with different route pattern than 9.@ so for example I can choose 8.@ and Calling Party Transform mask set to that number supposed to be shown on customer phones. Is there any other solution than this one? Also I would like to have only one extensions ability to use 8.@ so it can not be accidentally be used be other extensions. 
    2. I have two extensions that supposed to ring if someone dials specific number 800999xxxx from outside and insight (ext 333) to ext 110 and 111.
    I need advice how to achieve this in CCUM 8.6 Thanks
