Outgoing mail with erong time

When I send an email from iPad, the time is 1:55 ahead of actual time. I've checked all settings I remembered, but I had no luck.
I even switched off automatic settings of time in General tab, time zone is correct,...
Does anyone have similar problem? How can I solve that?

this helped immediately: i changed the DNS (network settings) to the google DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 – all emails went out in the same second.

Having problems with maverick and outgoing mail with domain name

i just upgraded my operating system from mountain lion to maverick. i did a clean install on a new hard drive.
anyways, my desktop mac mini computer using mountain lion is having no problems with my outgoing mail with my domain name.
smtp.1and1.com
custom port 993
SSL
password
using the exact same info on my laptop with maverick
no dice.
mail comes in but can't email out with my domain name
i tried - smtp.1and1.com:(email address)
any suggestions

Load balancing outgoing mail with 3 outgoing servers

We are trying to balance our mail out with 3 separate mail servers from our incoming server. Our organization sends alot of mail and we wanted to balance it with 3 outgoing SMTP servers. We have them all working, in the zone for the primary DNS and incoming mail server. And we can get mail to go out on the three servers, BUT and this is a problem if the mail includes any messages to the network (hence the incoming server) then the SMTP servers complain they cannot find it and give a error message about not being able to connect to deliver any local mails out of the bulk mail we send. Any ideas how to get the SMTP to see the incoming mail server (which is the DNS server for network) and deliver mail to accounts on the network? Maybe we are doing something that OS X SNL server cannot do? Any ideas.
I will post the error message later but I need to leave for meeting for now.

Here is error message we get:

To explain mailout1 is the first one in priority of outgoing separate SMTP servers we set up in the zone of mail.vineyardil.net which is the DNS server. They send out ok all outgoing mail to other addresses as we wanted them (rather than having mail.vineyardil.net do it) but when we send to an address with vineyardil.net on it then we get this same message.
It seems like mailout1 cannot send to the incoming server. Note the ip address it gives is the ip of the cable modem on this network not the ip address locally in the net we have.
Our MX records all look good and things work with mail if we use it both as incoming and outgoing (SMTP) but when we use the secondary servers for outgoing they seem to not be able to send to this server. Is there something we should look for?
Is SL server not capable of what we are trying? Any feedback would be most appreciated. We would like to really use this setup as I explained to do load balancing of mail as part of our attempt on this new network to get our bulk mailing split up between the 3 outgoing servers so we will not be labeled spam by the security systems out there these days like it was on our old network.

Outgoing mail with unwanted indelible picture

My MAIL program has a mind of it's own: each outgoing e-mail is sent out with a picture automatically pasted on; I tried several ways to undo it, but to no avail.
Could someone let me me know:
1) how to choose whether or not do I want a picture to be pasted on the outgoing mail
and, even more important,
2) at least to give me the choice of the picture to be pasted
Right now the indelible picture that is invariably sent out with each and every mail is one of his own choice from photo-booth. I even deleted all the pictures I had residing on photo-booth, which is now empty, but the outgoing mail still paste THAT picture that was previously on photo-booth, on all outgoing mail.

Are you sure the picture is actually being sent? If I look in my mailboxes at mail I have received, mail will look for the sender in the addrress book, and if it finds an associated picture it will put that picture on the right end of the header portion of the message. The picture does not come with, and is not part of, the mail message.
Likewise if I look in my Sent mailbox mail will add my login picture to the header bar - but the picture has not been sent with the outgoing message. If you don't like the picture you can change it System Preferences/Accounts. I don't think you can have no picture, but you could make a picture of a blank space and use that.

Outgoing Mail with Yosemite still does not work

My SMTP outgoing mail still will not work since I upgraded to Yosemite. It worked fine with Maverick. I have tried deleting the mail and starting over unchecking different things and retyping the password.

I inadvertently changed the port number for SMTP outgoing mail of AOL. What port number should I use?

Yahoo and Gmail support should be able to help you.
Not related to Firefox support, web mail doesn't use POP or SMTP protocols which is what email clients such as Thunderbird use for communicating with email servers.

I have just setup Exchange Server in local work fine, but I need to sent outgoing mail such as Gmail or Yahoo.
I have static IP and Mail Setup([email protected]) from local ISP.
My question is if I need to sent outgoing or receiving mail, do still I need to buy mail hosting at online (Godaddy)?

In order to send email to the internet there is need of public IP address that should be mapped to the internet facing Edge transport server to route emails.
Inorder to receive email from gmail or yahoo you need to have MX record that pointed to your configured SMTP domain or else you will not able to receive email.
Also the port in your firewall should be opened for SMTP port 25

Setting outgoing mail with verizon

This is the first time I tried to forward an article from newspaper to my friends from Mac. It did not allow me to do that. I have no problem send it with PC. My internet provider is Verizon and I am using yahoo mail. What is the procedure to set up my computer to send mail without loggin to Yahoo? I do not subscribe to .mac. Please anybody?

TS3276 Outgoing Mail with attachment loses email content. Why

Sometimes (only a few times) if I send an attachment with an email, the recipient does not receive the content of my email. The attachment is received but the email content is blank. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas how to overcome it?

Verify outgoing mail with logging

I have an issue where emails supposedly are not being sent out and I need a way of verifying sent mail. I checked the mail.log in /var/logs/, but it did not contain any relevant data. Is there a specific log file that I can check to see all outgoing email? I need to verify messages sent within the last few days. Thank you.

No outgoing mail with Charter wireless connection

Hi - I just purchased a new MacBook with Leopard 10.5.2 and I have a Charter wireless internet connection. I can receive email but I can't send any. I read troubleshooting article 307369 and did everything that it said and it still doesn't work. I called Charter to make sure I had the right information and port and they told me I did. After that they refused to help me because I could send email from my web account so they didn't care if my apple mail worked or not. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance:-)

What I would really like to say is that I'd dump Charter. However, since you have a new MacBook, why don't you call Apple Care and see what they can do to help. It sounds as if there is a conflict between your wireless router and your Apple Airport Extreme Card or circuitry in your MacBook. A better forum to handle this would be the one on Airport.

Settings for Outgoing Mail with HORDE

I can receive e-mail but cannot send. I use HORDE and am trying to send mail from Mac Mail. I was told no SSL, No Authentication, Port 25, and name@domain. Any ideas? I have contacted to support and also the web site host.

If you are paying money for internet access to an ISP and that includes the ability to send and receive email then as a customer they will give you that information. Don't know what you mean by, "sometimes your isp is gay..."

Slow outgoing mail with large file

Try clicking the window menu item in mail then select activity, you should see the progress of the file upload click on the red stop sign.

Iphone 4 smtp outgoing mail problems

I am trying to set up the outgoing mail with the iphone, however it fails everytime.
My mail server doesnt accespt smtp requests from external Ips, so in the past on my Treo phone
I had a vzwmail.net account and used that to send my mail out.
On my blackberry i had no problems, however on the iphone i cannot send mail.
My collegue who has att iphone has to use a att smtp server for his outgoing which works fine.
I tried the smtp.vzwmail.net with my [email protected] but this no longer seems to be working.
I was told to try hostname: outgoing.verizon.net with port 587
however then it asks me for a usename /password.
I have tried my cell number as username, also my Myverizon username and password , all which fail.
How can i resolve this and be able to send mail.
