Outline load utility Data load error in Planning

Hi,
We are loading the data using OutlineLoad utility in Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.1,but data is not loading and the log file showing the below error.
Unable to obtain dimension information and/or perform a data load: com.hyperion.planning.olap.NoAvailableOlapConnectionsException: Unable to obtain a connection to Hyperion Essbase. If this problem persists, please contact your administrator.
Can you please why we are getting this error.

How exactly can I load TEXT DATA to a Hyperion Planning application?

I have a data file that has TEXT data that I want to load to planning. I do not wish for this text data to be displayed in a Smart List, rather I want to use the new Planning data type "Text"
In chapter 5 of the Planning Admin Guide in the Matrix for Data Load Tools, it says the Planning Outline Load Utility can load Text Data values.
I can't make sense out of the the instructions to load data with this utility. Can someone please help me?

I like your idea of flipping the Data Load Dimension and the Driver Dimension. Unfortunately Planning won't let me set Period as a Data Load Dimension.
I only get Account, CCCC, Employee, SCCC, and SAU_CAU_Facility (5 of the 11 dimensions in this application).
So that's why I set the Data Load Dimension and the Driver Dimension as I did. It ran but with some kickouts on missing members. So 16 of the 19 records I sent processed and I understand why these three kicked out in the error file:_

Lock NOT set for: Loading master data attributes error

Hi experts,
We were encountering this error before when trying to load master data. When we checked the system we could not find any locks at the time, and activation or kicking off the attribute change run failed again. We finally solved the problem running FM RSDDS_AGGR_MOD_CLOSE which sets the close flag to 'X' in table RSDDAGGRMODSTATE. I have read that it is possible this lock error happens when two change runs happen at the same time.
My question are:
1. is it possible to find out what process exactly "caused" the lock? the table RSDDAGGRMODSTATE does not have a reference to any object or job. I am curious as we are trying to find ways to avoid this in the future...
2. in our case, when we could not find any locks, is running this fm the only work around? is this a best practice?

I have had this problem in the past (3.0B) --> the reason is that our system was too slow and could not crunch the data fast enough, therefore packets where loacking each other.
The fix: load the data into the PSA only, and then send it in background from the PSA to the info object. By doing this, only a background process will run, therefore locks cannot happen.
Fix#2: by a faster server (by faster, I mean more CPU power)
Now, maybe you have another issue with NW2004s, this was only my 2 cents quick thought

You can find information and the monitor log for a request in data load
    monitor for a single request . You can also display the assignment of a
    request number to a SID here by selecting the request number in the
    header tab page.
First upload request 73.750 to ODS-Objekt 0FIAR_O03 .

Hi Niten,
Use transaction RSRQ and put in the request number (for 73.750 ... it should be in the error message). In the monitor you can analyse what the request is and why it isn't loaded to the ODS. You can manually update it is reqd.

Need to load the data through excel for plan data through IP?

The user needs to load the data through the excel and click on the save button so that the data is saved in the cube through integrated planning.
The objects used are
customer, material, plant, calendarmonth sales qty, gross billing!!

If you are using bPS you can get the details in Wiki also for the same.
You can then create the hyperlink in Excel ,which user can use to upload data which can then be saved to cube using save button.

Load Master data attributes error

Hi all
We are currently loading 0PM_ORDER and 0NOTIFICATN. In 0PM_ORDER we have 0NOTIFICATN as navigational attribute and in 0NOTIFICATN we have 0PM_ORDER as a navigational attribute. Sometimes both documents are new and as a result will the 0PM_ORDER not load becuase 0NOTIFICATN does not exist and vice versa. If you try to load 0NOTIFICATN it generates an error stating that the SID does not exist for 0PM_ORDER. So we found ourselves in a catch 22 situation.
Is there a way to check for individual navigation attributes instead of using the generic update type in the scheduler?

Hi,
If you make notification number as navigation attribute then it will create issues as it will try to create SID's for PM while loading the data and vice versa.
May be you can try to remove PM orders from the navigation of Notification number and make it display only and see what happenes.
Another soln is tricky but should work.
Load the notification numbers first only to the notification number infoobject by any mean and activate this master data.This could be through the a new DSO between the existing data source and master data.
I hope there will be attributes for notification number as well.
Once notification is loaded then load the master data for PM Orders and then load the master data again for notification infoobject from the data source through another DSO.
This may be tough in the case of delta as you will have to go for the same data load twice to the master data object.
In this case you can have to TWO DSO's in between the master data object and the data source one only for notification number and another one for all the its attributes.
Load the same delta from the data source to the bothe DSO.
Use the one with only notification number to load before the PO orders load to the notification infoobject and load the data from nother DSO with attributes after the PM loads have happened into the notification number objects.
You can wait for other replies as well if you are looking for easy solution.

Problem while loading Master data load

Hi,
i am loading master data for 0PROJECT. for attributes and text we do have delta.
for text after load added records will be 0 eventhough few records there and they are transferred records. i checked in RSA3 it has records.
can any body tell me the reason for this?

Load utility drop load record of tab delimited text file

use the load utility to import text delimited UTF8 file, the result show all record load successed. However, count row in the load table show some record missed in loading.

SQL Loader - Conditional Data Loading

Hello Friends,
I am trying to use SQL Loader to load the following records in to the Emp table (columns being - empno, ename, job, mgr, hiredate, sal, comm, deptno ).
7876,ADAMS,CLERK,7788,"23-MAY-87",1100,,20
7900,JAMES,CLERK,7698,"03-DEC-81",950,,30
7902,FORD,ANALYST,7566,"03-DEC-81",3000,,20
7934,MILLER,CLERK,7782,"23-JAN-82",1300,,10
I want to put a condition that the data should be loaded only when the 5th field in the record (i.e, the Hiredate field) should be greater than "01-JAN-82". So with this condition, the only records to be loaded are the 1st, and the 4th one... the other two records have the hiredates being less than "01-JAN-82".
load data
infile 'c:\mydata.csv'
into table emp1
when .....
fields terminated by "," optionally enclosed by '"'
( empno, ename, job, mgr, hiredate, sal, comm, deptno )
I am unable to put the when condition in the control file above and would be grateful if you kindly can give me some pointer as to how to achieve this.

The examples only show the when clauses where we can only use "=" or "<>" in the clause. I am trying to see if we can use ">=" or "<=" in the when clause to load the conditional data. Also trying to find out if date fields can be compared in the when clause. I am unable to do so till now and it throws syntax errors everytime
I am able to test the when with string literals and with "=" and "<>" conditions though.

UDA loading via Data load rule

Hi all,I would like to load a file with two columns:-1st column contains current members of a dimension-2nd column contains the UDA I would like to associate to the member.Ex:ENP8XX,CNYENR8XX,CNYENB3XX,THBENM4XX,JPYI know that I should do it through the Data Prepr Editor. But I can't.I open the data file, associate the 1st column to the dimension, declare the 2nd column as UDA.When I try to validate the rule, I always get the same error message:"Field 2 -- This field is defined as a USERATTR. Data Copy error in Planning

Hi All,
We are on Hyperion Planning 11.1.1.3 and we are trying to copy data inside the planning application which includes "supporting details" also. It is giving the following error. Has anyone seen this issue? When I did some research microsoft released some hot fix but we are not sure how this hotfix is going to impact.
All suggestions are welcome.

MSG_COPY_DATA_OPTIONS_FAILED: [Hyperion][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]The query processor ran out of internal resources and could not produce a query plan. This is a rare event and only expected for extremely complex queries or queries that reference a very large number of tables or partitions. Please simplify the query. If you believe you have received this message in error, contact Customer Support Services for more information.

Thanks John. I gone through the document and it said we need to increase the memory of query processor. Just for my understanding purpose, it really depends on volume of Supporting details right? Instead of using the front end Planning is there any way we can copy supporting details from back end like writing some query on SQL server side?

Actually I am working on workforce planning and need to load data one of workforce planning dimension called employee and it has child called total employees and total employees has one child called existing employees and also total employees has another child called New employees.
Please help me I will be thankful to you since they gave me dead line by tomorrow to finish if not then I will be fired from my this project. I reading manuals and doing my tasks since it is really urgent so i need quick guideline and help needed..

This error is talking about Dimensions which I am not getting any sense like In my application there is Dimension called Employee and it has two child one is Total Employees and New Employees and under the Total Employees there is one child which is existing employees.
2- Yesterday I run same Code and my data was loaded in the Dimension but in wrong place and got Error which is as follows

Loading Dimensions using Outline Load utility in 11.1.2

Hi All,
I tried to use the Outline Load utility for loading dimensions in Planning (11.1.2). The file available is OutlineLoad.cmd.template. I tried running that but doesn't work. So i remaned it to OutlineLoad.cmd and tried but it still doesn't work. Have there been any changes regarding how to use it in 11.1.2?

I navigated to the location mentioned by Rahul and entered "OutlineLoad.cmd.template". it just goes to the next line and another window opens up asking which program you want to use.
If I enter only "OutlineLoad.cmd" so that it'll return the parameters I need to give, then it says "The syntax of the command is incorrect".
What command do I need to give? Earlier in 11x, I would just enter "OutlineLoad.cmd" and it would give an error with the expected parameters.
