Outline saving error

Hi,when i am trying to save the outline after verify.the error is coming as "fail to save the outline due to error Outline already exists and is not locked by the user"

Hi,
It seems that you are not locking the outline while opening it. it asks you "Do you want to lock this outline?
If you don't lock the outline, you will not be able to save it.

Dear Maureen,
Open your billing document and go to Environment - Acct. Determination Analysis - Revenue accout.
Check over there wheather ny account is determined by the system or not.
if not then go to IMG - Sales and distribution - Basic Function - Account Assignment/Costing - Revenue Account Determination - Assign G/L Account
Click on the General then assign your G/L account with the combination of chart of account and sales organistion.

Hi
Put the billing doc in change mode and then enter
From the top menu bar-environment-account determination analysis---revenue account determination
If you explore that system will give some hint of what is missing?
Check in CMR whether account assignment category is mainatained in Billing tab of sales area data
Check in MMR whether account assignment category is mainatained in sales org data2 tab
Ensure that VKOA settings are correct?
Then go VF02 and click on the green flag in the initial screen or shift+F4

To resolve the error, you can analyze account determination in the billing document. Process:
Goto T.Code: VF02 & Enter Invoice number
Next (On the top most strip) goto Environment
Next (Select Environment) go to Account determination
Next (In Account Determination) select Revenue Account Determination (first option)
This will list all the condition types in the Billing document & analyze each condition & check for which G/L accounts is not determined.
Possible SD errors:
1. VKOA not maintained for required combination
Solution: Maintain the combination in VKOA.
2. Account Assignment of Customer / material not maintained in Customer / Material Master (If maintained in combination in VKOA).
Solution:
Option 1 (Standard solution):
step 1: Cancel Billing Document --> Reverse PGI --> cancel Delivery --> Cancel Sales Order
step 2: Maintain Customer master / Material Master correctly.
step 3: Recreate sales Order --> Delivery --> PGI --> Invoicing.
Option 2:
Force the Account Assignment Group of Customer / Material through Debug in change mode of Billing document, which will release Billing Document to Accounting.
3. Account Key not maintained in Pricing Procedure:
Impact: This may create accounting document, but if condition type, which are to be posted to account, but do not have account key maintained in pricing procedure, it will not be post the relevant condition type to G/L account.
From FI Side, you require to check that all the G/L account has been maintained through T.Code: FS00. G/L account being Master data has to be created in each client ot uploaded through LSMW / SCATT / BDC.
In Billing Document in change mode (in the first screen where we enter Billing Document number), on the top most left hand corner, take a dropdown on Billing Document & select Release to accounting. Here you can get the under mentioned possible message:
1. G/L account not found
2. Cost Element not maintained for G/L account.
In both the above cases, FI consultant requires to take corrective action.

This is related to account determination issue
You have been saved the document but that value not transfereed to the G/L accounts(i.e Account document not created.
To overcome this go to VKOA transaction do the revenue account determintion.
Assign the account determination procedure to your billing document type in VOFA transaction.

Library file cannot be saved error -54

Anybody else get this error. It started a few days after I installed Leopard and started ripping my cd's onto an external hard drive. Once I get that error message I am unable to quit or force quit iTunes, but it does still function. I tried repairing permissions, and a restart(which ended up hanging up, and I had to hold the power button down) but the error came back after a while, and the same situation unable to quit or force quit, so I finally clicked the don't tell me again box. I really don't want to have to do a hard restart every time I use iTunes. Any suggestions?

Hidden "saving error" that send "Successfully Transaction" message
I wanted to make an n-level nesting solution. With just one Service file that would be manually edited at the end.
First I made n Master-detail tabs. The Master of the i+1 tab was the detail of the i tab. I tested separately. Every one of them and they inserted, updated an so on very well..(of course!!)
After I replaced on the MVC File every GetDataSource with getChildDataSource. I included the aditional parameter required by the getChildDataSource, i mean de Master datasources reference and the infotable Master key.I made the same with the Save.
This didn't work in an strange way. After I made a saving test the browser screen show a "Success" message but the database haven saved the new record.... Why if the transaction is not successfully I receive the success message? I tested fort apart (using the BC4J app Module "test" and the records was updated correctly..of course without the Master Detail stuff..)
Am I missing another postgeneration task.. At least may I to generate some error in order to start the investigation about what am I doing wrong??.

Pay particular attention on how the loop, receiving socket data, is constructed.
In future, please always include:
- exact error details (we have no idea what error you are running into)
- Oracle version (full version details down to the very last digit)

This message keeps on popping up: your iTunes Library cannot be saved -error 50. What does this mean. It happened a few weeks ago and I deleted oand moved some music and it stoopped. Does this concern iMatch, or iCloud or is it the hard drive? What do I or can I do?

It sounds like you need to unistall the 32 bit version of iTunes and install the 64 bit version on your Windows computer. Do you have a backup of your iTunes library? Do you have any other security software installed besides Norton? The following articles may help you with this:

IMovie 6.02 HD Saving Error

ERROR 1 The file could not be imported: The file “Macintosh HD/Users/johnreneski/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Originals/2006/Jamboree /IMG79702.JPG” can’t be imported; QuickTime couldn’t parse it: -2048
Leads to :
Error: the project could not be saved. The disk might be full or locked, or you might not have permission to save in the current location (0).
This appears to be occurring with the iPhoto integration in the media browser. I've seen other posts hint at these problems but no one has detailed the situation I've described above.
I'm thinking this is either a plugin issue (Gee Three) or its a Quicktime issue. I'm working on the fix or workaround andI'll provide updates as I get greater clarity on the issue.
I'm up to date on all up-dates and my drive is fine - its been tested and I've got over 100g's to work with on the drive.

Yes, great that the excellent iMovie 6 still works on the latest version of OS X!
You can keep it together with a newer version of iMovie:
Happily this is easily achieved, but it has to be done backwards.
Delete iMovie 11 (just drag it to the trash). Now install iMovie 6 from the iLife 6 install disks. Update it to iMovie 6.0.3.
Now re-install iMovie 11. This automatically moves iMovie 6 into a folder it creates in your Applications folder called iMovie Previous Version.
Then reinstall iMovie 11.
iMovie 6 works great with iDVD 7.
Now you have them both, and you can have both in the Dock as well.

The document could not be saved error when Saving to a SharePoint Document Library

I am having an error when opening and commenting on Adobe PDF's that are stored in SharePoint 2010. When I attempt to save a PDF I have commented on I get the following error:
The Document could not be saved. The server said:
"The operation failed because an unexpected error occurred. (Result code: 0x80020005)"
This seems to happen in a Document Library that is based on a custom template with Managed Metadata columns, when we remove the columns it seems to work and when we create a library with a standard document library template and manually add the manage metadata columns it also works fine.
We would make this change to all document libraries where this issue occurs however this template is applied to 100's of libraries with thousands of documents stored in them. Is there anything we can look at to attempt to resolve this issue?
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. documents seem to work fine in these libraries.

1. Which Adobe product are you using Acrobat or Adobe reader- what is the complete version?
2. How are you opening and saving the PDF, the exact workflow?
Are you doing it from within Adobe Reader/Acrobat application or opening it from browser, doing changes and saving it using browser itself.
3. Can you try to save a PDF to library with Custom template and managed metadata columns using browser directly.
4. Please verify that columns name do not contain spaces or some other special characters.

Document could not be saved error

Whenever I go back to a PDF that I created or downloaded, and add comments or highlights, and then try to save it, I get an error message saying "The document could not be saved. The file may be read only . . ." But the file is NOT read-only and there are NO security settings. What gives?

I am a heavy user of Adobe Acrobat. Every time we edit a PDF file and click on the save button to save the document it comes up with an error message. I spent hours researching the issue and talked to their tech support people and reluctantly followed their suggestions to the effect of closing the preview pane to no avail. The only I have found that works is to close the Windows Explorer window and then save the document. Even if I move the file selector to a different folder or file it does not work.
This absolutely one of the most ridiculous bugs that Acrobat has ever had and it seems they are putting their heads in the sand and not addressing it. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNCONSCIONABLE TO HAVE SUCH A BUG ACROSS SO MANY VERSIONS (v. 9-11) OF A SOFTWARE AND NOT HAVING IT FIXED.
Adobe wants people to close the Windows Explorer every time there is a slight change to a PDF file and for us to reopen it over and over again. This is absolutely ludicrous and absurd.
Arrogance and cockiness of Blackberry people cost them their business, deal with this bug before you become another Blackberry.

I am using BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CHANGEMULTI and BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_SAVE to change the status of the CRM Service Order.
The BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CHANGEMULTI is working fine without any errors, in return table(zero entries), so after this I call the BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_SAVE with save_frame_log = 'X' and update_task_local = '' with the objects_to_save having the guid.
I get an error 'document could not be saved' but still the service order is having the status, which I try to update, in the Item details.
I had gone through the forums, for similar kind of error, and did not find any concrete solution for this error.
Could you please let me know how to rectify this error.

Still the same error.
I had debugged the code and found that the FM 'CRM_EVENT_PASS_INFO_EXE_OW' called internally is failing to generate the events required for save.
The next step of this is deleting the objects to save and inturn , the error.
The events are filled based on entries in table 'gt_plan_exets' in the FM, but for me the table is blank.
I tried to find how this table is getting filled, but I could not trace it.

Hello, I was loading a music cd onto my itunes library today when I started getting this recurring Error message stating: "The Itunes library file cannot be saved. An unknown error has occurred (-54)"
It just keeps popping up, and now it let me play anything without getting it. So in a panic I realized that nothing is backed up, so I started backing up my itunes using a blank dvd and even that failed in the middle of burning. I guess it has something to do with the error message?
This scares me since I'm very careful of the types of discs I put into my Mac, and I know that disc in particular didn't have any kind of virus (its been playing in my car for the last two years actually) and it was burned on my PC using itunes a while back when the system was clean.
My music is like my life and this message is freaking me out, how do I get rid of the message without damaging my library? or what happened to make it appear?
I'm afraid of how to proceed next.....Someone please help!

I suspect some anti-virus software is incorrectly interpreting the rewriting of the file and is causing a problem.
Either way, you should definitely update your anti-virus software and definitions to the latest, and run a full scan of your system. Then tell the security software not to scan the iTunes itl file/folder.
If that does not help, you may want to recreate your iTunes library:
