Outline States on U.S. Map - PLEASE HELP
I have a U.S. Map where each state is selectable in Illustrator. I want to group 4 or 5 states and make a thicker outline around the border of all combined states. Any insight on how to do this is appreciated. Thanks!
Group the states.
Select the Group.
Appearance Palette flyout menu: Add New Stroke.
In the Appearance Palette list, select the added stroke.
Effect menu>Pathfinder>Add.

Are you aware that if you restore your ipad that you will lose all data from your ipad and very difficult to get it back unless you had previously made a back-up of your data on itunes or in the cloud. and that would be on the computer you set those up on. (There are some independent apps out there that might help restore data but I don't have any experience with them...)
Also, I think if you restore on another computer you're supposed to have administrator rights and have the latest itunes update. And I think if you sync (if restoring is considered syncing with another computer, you'll be locked out of your computer or a new one.)
I don't know if there is a way for you to safely eject your ipad from your mom's laptop and find another way, but please read this

Also, I suggest you start a new post and title it something like First, stuck on update and now on Restore on another computer. Please HELP! And then tell the story of your problem that you originally included and your follow-up efforts to restore given a suggestion on previous post (though I think you SHOULD AVOID RSTORE if you can.) All the fields of target E1BPACGL09 is mapped from ACCOUNTGL node of souce and the field ITEMTEXT under node E1BPACGL09 should have the condition .if the CURRENCY_TYPE is 00 and if ITEMNO_ACC in the segments ACCOUNTGL and CURRENCY AMOUNT are equal then we need to create a E1BPACGL09 with ITEM_TEXT concatinating CURRENCY and other field XXXXXX and pass it to ITEM_TEXT at target.Please help me in this .
Is it possible through graphical mapping If so how please help .

Could not use history brush because the history state lacks a corresponding channel Please HELP CS6
Everytime I try to use my history brush, that error pops up and I have no clue why. If I try to just open a blank document and use the brush it does not give me this error and I can "use" the brush but you cant see anything on the project. Anyways, so when this error happens im trying to do a project and say I place a file(picture) into the project and this is the very first thing I do. I place it, then I size the image down some. I then make a new layer to use the brush for behind the picture and then this is when I get the error. I have no clue what is wrong can someone please help me I'm desperate:(.
The way you've described it, one gets the distinct impression you do not have a clue as to what the history brush does and how to use it.
You need to read up on it. Read the Help files and google for tutorials.
First you need to create an image (with actual pixels in it), edit it as desired, then make a snapshot of the edited image, then target the snapshot with the history brush tool, then go back in the History panel to the step before your edits and selectively paint your edits in with the History Brush. -

Unable to repair disk (Partition map) Please HELP !
Hi,
I have the weirdest problem with my 15" retina macbook pro.
Earlier today, OS X automatically rebooted after some kind of bug. I was then unable to start the computer, wether it was through recovery or as usual.
Started in Safe mode, Backed up with time machine, and restored system.
I'm now able to boot as usual but when I launch Disk Utility, I detects an error. Please find DU log at end of this message.
When I click Repair Disk, I continuously get the same error message (this disk needs to be repaired).
Any ideas how I can get this error fixed ?

I executed runInstaller and I see :BAD Address, but I see a similar Post.
I executed GNOME, in the directory /install/linux I had click over runIns.sh and !!!TA CHAN!! the installation begin.

Google maps problem...please help...!
I've got an iPhone 4 running 4.0 software and I have an issue with google maps. The program seems to operate fine with one exception...all my interstate and state highway labels are placed underneath the roadway...in other words the roadways are on top of the labels and I can't see the labels because of it. Smaller street labels are fine, it's just the state and interstate highways.
Anyone else having this issue??? Please help!
BrianThe only thing that covers the names on mine is the "Live Traffic" overlay line. If select "Hide Traffic" all names are visible as normal.

I am facing a strange problem on new iphone 5 that I bought last week. The maps app and the places in photo gallery shows the pin and my location, however there is no information of locations. Tried to close the apps, phone restart, reset etc. I am accessing it via strong wireless connection and it works fine on other devices. Please help.

Please help!I don't know what exceptions might occur, but since the close() method can throw SQLException, your program has to catch it. Maybe if you close twice, the second time will throw an exception? Anyway, it doesn't really matter, you still have to write a try-catch around it. What you do there is up to you -- you could ignore it (which is what I do) or you could end the program with a message.
When does the garbage collector free those resources? The garbage collector only frees memory. Nothing else. And the garbage collector will free a ResultSet object only when there are no references to it anywhere in your program. That doesn't mean just in code that you wrote, but anywhere in code that's running in your program. For example, the Statement object that produced the ResultSet might hold a reference to it. However, the API documentation for ResultSet does say that when the garbage collector does free a ResultSet object, it will automatically close it.
However, the best practice is to close ResultSet and Statement objects when you are finished with them, and not rely on garbage collection to clean up after you.
