Outllook clients sending partial messages, truncated text body

I am stumped on this one and could use a little help.
Several clients are experiencing partially truncated emails both sent and received.
It is happening on Outlook 2003 and 2010.
The Sent Items folder also shows the truncated email.
For instance, lets say I, Mike, type out a 1000 word email to my friend Jane. Jane receives an email that might only have a few sentences and it might cut off right in the middle of a sentence. I check my Sent Items and it only shows exactly what
Jane received which is much less than I typed. Most of my text has simply disappeared.
I see others with similar issues but it is usually the entire message body that is missing, not partial text missing.
I have opened the sent item using the web interface and it is the same problem.
The Exchange server is 2010 Standard Edition running on Windows Server 2008 R2 and I recently updated all OS patches, Exchange SP3 and Update Rollup 4 for SP3 and my issue remains.
Also, I have documented at least 1 case where the sender and receiver both have Outlook 2010, although most of my users have Outlook 2003.
In addition to all the troubleshooting listed above, I have also used every known to me AV scanning tool such as Combofix, RKILL, TDSkiller, MalwareBytes, HitmanPro etc.. Nothing out of the ordinary found.

After I read his thread and your thread, I think that it isn't an isolated problem...
Outgoing messages bodies are truncated. When it happens, only few words or few sentences remained. The rest of the typed text disappeared.

The problem began 2 weeks ago, but now it's spreading.
For now it seems in my company that only Outlook 2003 clients are affected.
At the beginning only 1 person reported me the problem, so I thought it was an isolated client problem. I tried to reinstall Outlook 2003, but it continued. Then I tried to install Outlook 2010 for troubleshooting purpose, and in the last week that person didn't
reported me any problem.
Then it began to spread. It happened to a different person. And then to another one. At the moment, 5 persons reported it. All these persons have Outlook 2003.
Maybe an automatic Windows update could have caused the problem in the clients?
It's hard to find out.
It seems that the problem is present in emails that take a long time to write them. Maybe the affected sent email is the first one auto-saved... For testing I disabled the auto-saving (every 3mn) drafts function in the affected Outlook 2003 clients. They reported
me no problem in the last days.
But I told them to always check sent emails and to continue to do that.
I will report as soon as I have new feedbacks.

Turn off "Auto-save messages every XX minutes"
Outlook sends the saved portion, not the entire email.
Note: This partial message is not saved in Drafts, but in memory.
Outlook 2007:
1. On the Tools menu, click Options
2. Make sure you are on the “Preferences” tab.
3. Click the “E-mail Options…” button.
4. Click the “Advanced E-Mail Options…” button (about half way down the window).
5. Uncheck the first checkbox “AutoSave items every:”
6. Click OK 3 times to close all the windows
Outlook 2010/2013:
On the Tools menu, click Options.
On the Preferences tab, click E-mail Options, and then click
Advanced E-mail Options.
Uncheck the AutoSave items every: x minutes check box.
In the minutes list, specify how often you want the program to save your data and the program state.
If you set more minutes in there, you only postpone the issue.
Turn it off.
Note: IMHO it is better to lose work and know it, than to think you sent an email when you really did not.

It might depend on how long/large the video file is. I'm not sure but there might be restrictions on the size of the file you plan on sending via sms. Are you able to send send those same video files that you received back to your friends?

How RMI Clients send the message to the server

The Clients messages to the server are called Callbacks. There is a lotta documenatation for it over the net. So make a search for this key word.

How can I simply send audio messages via text, not just to people who have iphones, even basic Nokia phones allow this function? Am I missing something here? IPHONE 6

No, basic Nokia phones do not, and have never had a function to easily send audio messages universally. SMS is a carrier feature and uses a very basic transfer mechanism and works only for short, 160-character messages. Through software, some phones later allowed you to type longer messages that the device then broke up seamlessly and sent as multiple SMS messages. MMS is another carrier service developed to be able to transport multimedia like audio and pictures. Again, very basic transfer and usually slow and low quality. Both of these are again, operator services. Your iPhone can send those messages to non-iPhone users using standard carrier services.
On the other hand, your iPhone Messages app uses your iPhone data plan - not unlike your home Internet service - to transfer audio, video and images through Apple's iMessage service. Other services exist that do something similar - WhatsApp for example - which also requires both the sender and recipient to use their app for the service to work.
As for email, Meg is correct. Your email provider is the first line of defense against spam. You should adjust your filters. That said, iOS Mail app had a delete all function, but not in places where it can do more harm than good - i.e. the Inbox. It is present only in the Junk and Trash folders where, presumably, your email provider or you have already been through some decision making process and deemed those emails acceptable to be deleted en masse.

Client sends entire message, Server only sends first line...

I can send a three lined message to the server, but I can only send one line back and as far as I'm aware I'm using the same stuff either side so it should be fine? Maybe someone here can I point out where I'm going wrong...

Am I far from the solution to this problem? Cos I've been stuck on this for two days straight now. Seems so trivial!That shouldn't compile. Assuming you meant in.readLine() everywhere you wrote in.readLine, now you're reading 3 lines every time thru the loop and only printing every 3rd one.
So no, you're not getting any closer.
A typical pattern:

I have problem with javamail when I want send a html message, the received message is incomplete(I have more than 1000 characters). And this is not the end of the message that missed.

I am unable to send picture messages via text.

I only got my blackberry q10 last week. Have switched over from orange to vodafone. From a curve to the q10. My contacts have not all come over to the new phone and I find out today that pictures ain't sending via text. Works fine via whatsapp though. I am able to receive pictures though. Please help!!

Mail automatically sending forwarded messages as text file attachment

Hi everyone,
We have a client who is using Mac Mail, and whenever she tries to forward on a message it automatically puts the message into an attached text edit format file. Generally the forwarded message should just be inline text but in this case it isn't. I've googled this problem without much luck, hopefully someone on here has an idea of what's going on and it's just a simple fix, unfortunately I cannot have access to the machine when I want but if anyone has any advice that would be great, cheers.

Apparently it only happens when another file is attached as well to the same email.
I tried forwarding my colleague an email through Mac Mail with an attached image and inline text and it came out fine, I thought it might of been a flaw with Mac Mail itself but no.
Anymore ideas?

I used my iphone to send a message in French. I have changed the settings back to English but when I send a text or write a message it still thinks I am typing in French. Any suggestions?

Any thoughts on how to resolve the above ? Namely I went into settings changed the language to French. Sent a message to soemone in France in French. Went back to settings selected British English. Reset the phone into English, But it still thinks it is 'French' when sending a message or text. Have gone back to settings tried to reset the keyboard to original factory settings. No joy. Switched the phone on and off. No joy, It still assumes it is French when sending a text or email even though the settings are all set for English. Any suggestions on how to resolve tbis ???

Environment: SCO Unixware 7.1.1, Tuxedo 6.5, Windows 98(client)
While the client sends a message(photo) which size is near to or over 16K Bytes,
to the server, the client gets no reply. Seems the server can not get the request.
Does anybody know the reason.

Check the ULOG* file. Sometimes it happen that Tuxedo throws the
message away (for me it was more troublesome when the server
succesfully processed the message but Tuxedo was unable to send it

I would try the following troubleshooting steps:
1) On the server, go into "tmadmin" and do a "pclt" to make
sure the client is getting connected.
2) On the Win98 box, do a "set TMTRACE=on" before starting the app.
This will place trace messages in the ULOG. You can see
when a "tpcall" is executed and what arguments are passed.
3) You can find Ethereal, a freeware packet sniffer at
www.ethereal.com. You can see if the request is even leaving
the Win98 box and making it onto the network and to the server.
4) If the request is making it to the server, shutdown all your
servers, do a "export TMTRACE=on", and restart the servers.
This will place debug messages in the ULOG on the server.
You should be able to see any ATMI calls that are made.
5) Attach to the server with a debugger and set a breakpoint
in "msgrcv". This is the Unix system function call
that gets a message from a queue. If it never gets called, then
your message is not reaching the server's queue.
If it does get called, set a breakpoint in your service routine
and continue stepping through code.
6) You can also go into "tmadmin" and do a "pq" to see if there
is a request in the server's queue.

Why can't I send picture messages and group messages with MMS?

Picture messages fail to certain people with invalid destination address. Then the group messages won't send unless I send them as individual texts. Very frustrating.

I am having this same issue! I got my S3 in December & it has worked fine until about a month and half ago. . .around the time of latest software update! I can not send MMMS messages (group texts, pics, videos). It doesn't matter if I am on wi-fi, 3g, 4g LTE. It does not send!!! And I am getting ******. Help Verizon!!
