Outlook 2007 Appointments

User creates new appointments and select the attendees from either global address list or from personal contact folder (not a distribution list).  When attendees accepts the appointment the list will show people that's are no longer in our system
(but was at one time but have been removed) and tries to schedule them.  Not sure why it's showing people that are no longer in our system.

Hi,
Let the user create a meeting on OWA, when the attendees accept the meeting, will they see the people that are no longer in your system?
If this issue only occurs when creating meetings in Outlook 2007, I suggest you re-download the Offline Address Book to check the result:

  • Outlook 2007 and trouble synching calendar

As a help to those of you who have experienced the total frustration of trying to synch Outlook 2007 appointments with your BB - I was able to figure out what was happening with mine, and perhaps this will help others:
I found that the appointments that WERE NOT synching were the ones that were on my shared calendar - who woulda thunk? I didn't put them on the shared calendar - but, there they were and they did not synch.
Once I moved them to my personal calendar, they synched up perfectly.
Hope this helps someone out there.

  • Blackberry calendar will not sync all appointments to MS Outlook 2007

    Hello All,
    Hardware and Software background:
BB Storm 2 9550 registered on the the Verizon Wireless Network ("VZW")
OS of the device: Version 5.0.0.105 (official OS from VZW)
Desktop OS: MS Windows 7 Ultimate Premium
    Problem:
I am trying to sync all of my BB calendar entries to the Outlook 2007 Calendar and the device or Intellisynch software will not sync any BB calendar appointment that is added under the [email protected] service book/calendar. In fact the only entries that will sync to Outlook are those entered under/with the @vzw.blackberry.net service book/calendar. This was confirmed with a number of test appointments added to the BB. The only ones that sync are those added under the @vzw.blackberry.net service book/calendar. I deleted all the service books with CICAL in the name; sync and then resent my service books and still no luck.
When I go to Calendar\Options all of my calendars are there; when I select @vzw.blackberry.net there are 3421 entries; when I select the @gmail.com calendar it has 9 entries.
    Questions:
    1. How do I get the BB calendar enteries all of them to synch with Outlook.
    2. When I enter an appointment on the BB I want the default calendar to be @gmail.com; I already have that selected under Default Services.
    3. How to do I "merge" the calendar entries entered under @vzw.blackberry.net service book/calendar with those for [email protected]
    Thanks,
    Vernon

I have provided some information below that may help.
Question 1: To complete this task I would recommend downloading the latest version of the Blackberry Desktop software. To download the software please select the link www.vzam.net/blackberry and select whether you have personal or corporate email.
            Desktop version 6 instructions:
    1.      Once downloaded and installed I would recommend setting up the synchronization through the “Organizer”
    2.      Select the data to organizer (i.e Calendar)
    3.      Click Configure settings
    4.      Select (i.e Calendar)
    5.      Select the direction of the synchronization (two way sync, one way sync, etc.)
    6.      Select the preferred options
    7.      Select Finish
Question 2: I have provided a Blackberry link below on Gmail calendar synchronization
http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB24204 (For version 5 software there is a link at the bottom of the article)

  • Calendar appointments not quite showing in Outlook 2007

    Hi,
I'm syncing my calendar on my iPhone to Outlook 2007 via MobileMe. When I create an appointment on the iPhone, it will sync and I can see it in Outlook on the to do bar next to my email preview pane.
However, when I go to the calendar I don't see the appointment. I only have one calendar so I don't know where the appointments are going?
    Anyone got a solution?
    Many thanks

I have this same problem when syncing with my itouch. My appointments do not show when displaying day/week/month but do show when all appointments are viewed. I checked Microsoft Outlook 2007 support and they say the problem is with the new apple itunes update and that apple needs to fix it.

  • Can Outlook 2007 Calendar Appointments sync over the Air

    Hi,
I have an Iphone 3GS and i wonder if my Outlook 2007 calendar appointments sync over the air as my e-mails do.

As Chris said, you can use MobileMe which provides other handy features as well. Gmail is a good free alternative see here for one way to import. Then see here for instructions to setup google sync on your iPhone.

Single day appointments I have in Outlook 2007 will sync properly. Repeated appointments i.e. ones that  are several consecutive days sync 24 hours ahead or one day out. It can't be a time zone issue because single day appointment syncs correctly.

  • Appointments added from iPhone aren't displayed in Outlook 2007 calendar

When I create a new appointment on my iPhone then sync with Outlook 2007 via iTunes, the new appointment isn't displayed in Day/Week/Month view of Outlook. If I change Outlook's view to All Appointments, there I can see all the details of the appointment that was added via my iPhone. For some odd reason iPhone generated appointments just doesn't appear in the normal Day/Week/Month view. I've also noticed that if I edit an existing appointment (previously viewable in both Outlook and iPhone), after the next synchronization Outlook only displays the appointment in All Appointment view. I am not using Exchange or MobileMe.

There is no real solution at the moment, but I have read that is in an option to show the appointment by making it a re-occurring everyday event and let the re-occurrence end at the same day the appointment is.
    It worked with me.
btw not a real bug fix but better than nothing

  • CRM appointments not synchronizing to outlook 2007 correctly

Okay...I did a little more Googling and found the answer:
The root problem was with a corrupted or incompatible version of MAPI32.dll with the Blackberry Desktop Manager and Microsoft Outlook. Given the problem and the tools that Microsoft provides in Windows XP and Windows Vista, you can accomplish the fix in less than 5 minutes.
    Here are the steps...
    1. Optional (I did not follow and it worked): Exit out of both the Blackberry Desktop Manager and Microsoft Outlook clients. Make sure that in your task manager that the process Outlook.exe is not running.
    2. In the default Windows XP or Windows Vista installation go to the folder C:\Windows\System32. You can also get there by typing in %systemroot%\system32 into the Start --> Run prompt.
    3. In the System32 folder, find the file "MAPI32.dll" and rename it to "MAPI32.dll.old" or similar.
    4. In the System32 folder, there is another file called "FIXMAPI.EXE" that may just show as FIXMAPI depending on your configuration. Double-click it to execute the file, it will create a new version of MAPI32.dll.
    5. Verify the new file in your System32 folder. You may need to hit F5 to or go to View --> Refresh in order to show the newly created file.
Now start up the Blackberry Desktop Manager and re-configure the synchronization feature. The error message Microsoft Outlook Connector Error - No available message stores should not longer be there!

  • Outlook 2007 - User with multiple calendars appointments do not default into her calendar

We are on exchange and use Outlook 2007.  I have a user who has her calendar (A) and 3 others in a side-by-side format (B,C, and D).  When she goes into her calendar and clicks the icon for new appointment, the appointment always defaults
for the D calendar and not her own.
EDIT:  She can click on her own calendar and then new appointment and the entry goes into her calendar.  She can click back into her inbox and then back into calendar view and the default switches back to the D calendar.
I have searched for a solution to this issue but have not been successful.  Any ideas on how to correct?
EDIT x2 - corrected the calendar labels for clarity.

    Hi,
Did you installed any add-ins for your Outlook? If so, try to disable your add-ins to check if the problem persists.

  • Outlook 2007 recurring appointments cannot modify and send update; getting "The Attachment Size Exceeds the Allowable Limit" Error

    Hi Expert
    I am using Exchange 2007 SP3 with Rollup 11 and outlook 2007 SP3 with Windows 7
Our users is facing this error, i can see on the bottom of the appointment, it has attachment with the same appointment attached.
I googling some information, when a user modify an existing recurring appointment, it will auto attach the orginial appointment in the modified appointment, is it true?

i can use MFCMAIP to remove those attachment, but i cannot find any preventive solution for user daily operation for modifiy the recurring appointment
Could you guy help me on this and i would like to know, is it a behaviour of outlook 2007.
    Thanks

Has anyone found a fix for this?  I have exactly the same problem and it's driving the users mental.  If I use Windows XP and Office 2007 as the same user it's absolutely fine so guess it might be a Windows 7 setting.  We are going to be
rolling out more Windows 7 PCs and hope this doesn't start doing it to everyone.

  • Outlook 2007: all new appointments default to the Prior Monday as 12AM.

Whenever I create a new appointment and use scheduling assistant it always defaults to the prior Monday at Midnight in Outlook 2007 on a VM ware Virtual Machine running Win 7 Enterprise. This machine is locked down tight - i have no admin rights whatsoever.
This is especially annoying as I'm in the Eastern time zone and the VM is in Central so I'm always having to account for the hour difference. Makes it difficult when the green/red begin/end bar is no where near the current time.

    Hi,
What's other users' time zone settings? Please change the time zone to the local time in Outlook and make sure the time is set correctly in your local machine and Outlook client.
We can change the time zone in Outlook 2007 by the following steps:
    1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
    2. Click Calendar Options.
    3. Click Time Zone.
    4. Under Current time zone, type a name for the current time zone in the
    Label box.
    5. In the Time zone list, click the time zone that you want to use.
    6. If you want your computer clock to automatically adjust for daylight saving time (DST) changes, select the
Adjust for daylight saving time check box.
This option is available only in time zones that use daylight saving time (DST).
For more information about time zone in Outlook, please refer to:

  • Outlook 2007 Calendar color coding (categories) of appointments and meeting

I synce my new iPhone 4 with Microsoft Outlook 2007 from work. I have all my appointment meetings color coded (categorized) in Outlook. The color coding is not showing up on my iPhone calendar. Why?

    Hi,
I did a test on my side: The account in Outlook was an Outlook.com account, I created an appointment in its calendar, gave it a category. Then I logged on the calendar on
https://bay04.calendar.live.com/calendar/calendar.aspx, the appointment was there and I could see the category, but there's no color on it.
Based on what I see, it's probably by design that Outlook.com Calendars don't display category colors, although it already has a category. To confirm this, you can post the question in Outlook.com forum:
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com
Since iPad is not a Microsoft product, I'm not sure and can't guarantee if it supports the calendar categories that Outlook supports.

Entries created in the Outlook 2007 calendar are being correctly entered into the BlackBerry Pearl calendar.

  • Syncing Outlook 2007 Calendar to my iPhone - HELP

Does anyone know the answer to this question below? I got my iPhone last Friday, immediately activated it, all went very smooth and very quick. When it came to syncing contacts and calendar, it did not work so well. Over the last week on multiple calls with Apple and Microsoft Technical Support, I was able to fix the contacts not syncing issue and all is working great. As for the calendar, I still am having problems and wondering if "ANYONE" has the answer? Initially I could not get any calendar events to sync. After exporting my entire calendar (530 items) to my desktop as a .CSV file, deleting my calendar off the corporate server and importing it back in, it finally brought over all my calendar events minus any recurring appointments. I am hearing it will "not" allow you to sync recurring appts which is a REAL PROBLEM!!
I still have a problem in that if I add a new event on my Outlook Calendar, sync both Outlook and the iPhone, it will not add the even to my iPhone.
If I add an event on the iPhone and do the syncs, it puts it on the Outlook Calendar. This is the craziest thing I have ever heard of.
DOES ANYONE HAVE A WORKING SOLUTION?????

If you are still having a problem synchronizing the Outlook Contacts and Calendar to the iPhone, even with the latest version of iTunes (7.3.1.3), the following steps may help. I've found these steps are the fastest solution until Apple releases a fix; hopefully with the next editions of iTunes.
Again, perform the following if, each time you try to synchronize your Contacts and Calendar from Outlook 2003 (or perhaps even Outlook 2007) to your iPhone nothing happens.
    A. Open iTunes
    B. Open Outlook 2003
    C. In Outlook 2003...
    1. Enter Tools -> Options
    2. Select Other
    3. Select Advanced Options
    4. Select COM Add-Ins
    5. Select Outlook iTunes Sync Addin
    6. Click OK
    7. Click COM Add-Ins again and verify "Outlook iTunes Sync Addin" is still selected; if it’s not selected perform these optional
steps, however if it is selected skip these optional steps and move on to step 8.
Optional Steps – Only necessary to perform this if the "Outlook iTunes Sync Addin" does not remain selected after following the
    previous steps
    Still in Outlook 2003…
    a. Enter Help -> About Microsoft Office Outlook
    b. Enter Disabled Items
    c. Enable the "Addin: outlook itunes sync adding (outlooksyncclient.dll)
    d. Click Close
    e. Click OK
    f. Start at the beginning of these steps
    8. Click OK
    9. Click OK
    10. Click OK
    11. Leave Outlook 2003 open
    D. In iTunes…
    1. Synchronize the iPhone
    2. Everything selected should be synchronized. That should include Calendar and Contacts if those are selected.
    3. You can then close or leave iTunes open; doesn't matter
    4. Move on to the next set of steps.
    E. In Outlook 2003...
    1. Enter Tools -> Options
    2. Select Other
    3. Select Advanced Options
    4. Select COM Add-Ins
    5. Un-Select Outlook iTunes Sync Addin
    6. Click OK
    7. Click OK
    8. Click OK
