Outlook 2007 Calendar is not longer synchronised with iphone 3

For quite a while my iphone 3 doesn´t sync with the calendar of outlook 2007. All other items (contacts, bookmarks etc.) are synchronised. Has anyone an idea what can be done?

  • TS2481 Outlook 2007 Calendar will no longer sync with iPhone 4S.

Outlook 2007 has synced perfectly with my iPhone 4s for over a year but suddenly the calendar will not sync while contacts does. Microsoft says it is either the itunes (have uninstalled & reinstalled twice) or a problem with the pst file. Any solutions?

Have you run scanpst.exe? That file is in the Microsoft Office folder. That does a scan of your Outlook.pst file and can help fix problems. Can you remember what you were doing when the problem began. Many times recurring appointments with open end dates can cause problems. Another thing that Outlook/Apple do not like too well are the way you set a reminder in an appointment. If you have an appointment with a reminder that is set to zero in Outlook, it can confuse the Apple calendar. Another thing to check is in iTunes, and that is resetting the sync history.
Also, you should not have to re-enter years of data, since the iPhone by default only syncs the last 30 days worth of data. Your archive generally is just resident on the computer. Once data goes to archive, it is removed from the phone due to the time period.
Try creating a new calendar in Outlook and put a couple of dummy appointments in it. Connect the iPhone to iTunes and set iTunes to sync all calendars. See if this new calendar syncs. If it does, you can import all of your old calendar data as Lawrence states to the new calendar and make that your default calendar by deleting the old one.
See if any of these steps helps.

May have been after an iTunes update.
Have upgraded to latest version of iTunes and iOS but to no avail.

  • Outlook 2007 calendar still crashing on sync with iPhone

    Hi,
I've tried all the advice that I can find to make this work, but I cannot get my calendar to sync properly and consistently. I upgraded to Outlook 2007, cleared the Add-ins other than iTunes, cleared the sync history in iTunes, and tried syncing. The first time it worked, but then it started crashing, saying that my Outlooksyncclient did not close properly and had to be restarted. Now, nothing syncs and I'm sunk. Any other tips to try? Thank you!!

Successful sync’ing is VERY dependent on whether you have Outlook set as the default email program. (Set it as such in IE>Tools>Internet Options>Programs.
In my experience, Outlook 2007 will NOT sync unless Outlook is the default program…..which is a problem because I prefer Thunderbird as my email client.

  • Outlook 2007 Calendar Reminders Still Making Sound on IPhone

I recently got an Iphone, and synch to my Outlook 2007 calendar. Although I set the Calendar Reminder (can't remember exactly what it's called) in the iphone 'Settings' to 'Off', my iphone still makes a sound when a reminder is generated by Outlook. Do you know how to turn this off without muting the entire phone?

Picked up my iPhone last Friday and am running into the same trouble syncing iPhone with Outlook calendar. Calendar Sound Setting is off, but unless phone is on silent mode, the calendar alerts remain audible. Met with Mac Genius and was advised to restore iPhone, which I did. However, this did not fix the problem.
Perhaps try restoring your iPhone through iTunes and see if you have more luck. Make sure you have all iPhone data backed up on your computer, as it will erase all data and media.

  • Outlook 2007 calendar will not sync

Update my 3G iphone to software version 4. Contacts syncing but calendar will not send new appointments to the phone. New contacts created either on phone or on computer work just fine.
I tried all suggestions on list in support including reinstalling iTunes. still not syncing. Even check the advanced to overwrite calendar on phone. Worked for all my July events but nothing I have added for August or later are on the phone. I see the problem is happening with iCal too.
    Help

    Hi there,
I have got a very similar problem:
    Situation
2 computers, each with Windows 7, Outlook 2007, iTunes 9.2.1.5 and an iPhone4 as mobile device
First step: Synchronising the iPhone with *computer 1*, the Outlook calendar and contacts are synchronised (as it should be)
Second step: Synchronising the iPhone with *computer 2*, iTunes tells me that I am going to synchronise data from another user account and asks me if I wish to merge this information with the data from the current user account
Third step: Clicking "merge information" hoping that the Outlook contacts and the calendar will be synchronised with Outlook
For contacts, everything works fine (i.e. on iPhone, first and second computer, the information is equal).
    Problem
The problem is, that in the second step the calendar on the iPhone (synchronised from computer 1) will be replaced with the calendar of computer 2. There is no possibility to synchronise the calendars of computer 1 and computer 2 via the iPhone.
As I have to use this feature for business, it is very annoying that only the synchronisation of the contacts works properly. My 6 year old iPaq never had problems with synchronising contacts and calendars on two computers.
Thre are several discussions on various internet forums, describing the same or similar problems. Why is Aplpe not able to fix this problem?
Frankly, I am thinking about passing back the iPhone and reuse the iPaq!!
    Please help! Thanks.

  • After updating iTunes, iPad won't sync Outlook 2007 calendars - application not found.  Anyone else having this problem or a fix?

    Hope someone can help.
After updating iTunes, Outlook 2007 is not syncing.  Error message reports "no supported calendar application can be found."  Have the same issue when running iTunes in safe mode.  Also rebooted and relaunched iTunes.  No change.  Outlook 2007 is running normally on my desktop (WInXP).
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.
    Be

Apologies I've been away on holiday. OK, I've discovered that it seems to be a related problem to iSync as this won't load. I've tried copying the relevant files from a working OS but this didn't resolve it. I've also tried reinstalling the iSync (Using Pacifist) from the original Install DVD and then installing a combo update but this hasn't fixed it either.
I'm thinking my only resort is probably to reinstall the whole OS, or create a new user and transfer all my docs to that one. Any other suggestions?

  • Outlook 2007 calendar will not synch

Hello, I am working with Windows XP Pro, and Outlook 2007.  Everything else will synch except my calendar.  contacts no problem.  It used to synch, then hadn't synched for a while and it just stopped.  Help
    Post relates to: Tungsten E2

none of the solutions mentioned worked inlcuding Reset Sync or Add-in Trust Center for Outlook 2007.
Finally just requested under Sync Info
scroll down below Calendar to Advanced section
click Calendar so for next sync only Ipod will be replaced with info on computer (which is the only one with my calendar)
Success!!!  After weeks of and on of trying to get the sync to work.
    Hope it works going forward!

  • Calendar will no longer sync with iPhone

My calendar would sync with no problems and now it won't update the information on my iphone so I am stuck with the old information and having to manually update the calendar.
    Please help.
    Using version 6.0 of calendar
    Using version 10.7 of iTunes
    Using 6.0.1 on iPhone
    Using OS X 10.8.2
Everything says it's up to date.  When I attempt to sync, nothing changes on the calendar.
    Thank you,

  • Problems syncing outlook 2007 calendar and ipod classic

I did a quick search and found many people with this problem but no solution that worked for me.
Basically my outlook 2007 calendar has suddenly stopped syncing with my ipod (I'm running Vista 64). Although I can see my calendar in the contacts tab - and there is a progress bar when i sync my ipod for calendars to sync - i cannot view any appointments on my ipod. Contacts from Outlook, however, are still syncing fine.
I have tried to reset all disabled products on the help menu in outlook but this hasn't worked. Others have suggested that Outlook should be open before trying to sync, this also didn't work.
Does anyone have any ideas how to sort this out short of manually transferring my appointments to my ipod.
Not sure if it is of any relevance but my calendar file on my ipod is currently completely empty at the moment.

After countless hours of restoring the **** ipod I've finally got my calendar back on it. I think what finally did it was backing up my calendar in outlook and then deleting it, syncing the ipod with the new blank outlook calendar and then reloading my backed up calendar in outlook and syncing my ipod again with the calendar. I know there's a lot of folks in the same position I was in so I hope this helps.

  • Outlook 2007 Calendar not syncing any more with Blackberry Bold

I am looking for possible causes to a problem that started some time over the last 2 weeks. My BB has been running 4.6.0.162 (put out by Rogers, my provider) and I'm using the 4.6 Desktop Manager.
Until then, whenever I'd sync my BB Bold with my Outlook 2007 Calendar (on Vista), everything (Calendar, Memo, Contacts & Tasks) would sync with no problems.
Since that time, (although I didn't realize it at first) calendar appointment items that were entered on one side would not be synced on the other side, i.e: BB calendar appointment items would stay on the BB, Outlook 2007 calendar appointment items would stay on the PC. Everything else syncs OK. In fact, new tasks that have a due date will be added to the other side's calendar with no problems!
I've tried different things, including rebooting both sides, deleting the calendar file on the BB, etc., but to no avail.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated!
    Thanks.

  • Problems with Sync iPod Touch with MS Outlook 2007 Calendar

I've seen oodles of complaints in this area, I'm thinking Apple isn't ready for prime time with "Calendar"
I have a 10 year old palm pilot, that has been syncing a MS-outlook calendar for work, and one from home, and it allows me to have a PDA with an accurate calendar. The work computer is typically newer (Windows 7, Outlook 2007), the home computer is typically older (XP, Outlook 2001). But changes between the two have happened over the years, and the Palm faithfully keeps on Syncing the two. I only want one calendar to see all my life's activities (work meetings, kid's dentist appointments, wife's sewing groups, going out with friends, etc.)
Did I mention my palm is 10 years old? I purchased an iPod Touch last week, and I knew in advance it would force me to install iTunes (so both are new).
While the ipod touch has wonderful things on it (I've jumped 10 years in technology), I need a mobile PDA with an "accurate" calendar. Note the word Accurate.
After Syncing, I see some recurring entries on time, some recurring entries out by an hour, some recurring entries that were deleted on my computer, still there in the ipod.
I've read that sometimes when you do a change (just to the content) of a recurring item, it can change the time of the calendar entry
I've read that there are known bugs in deleted recurring entries, still appearing.
While my Palm Pilot was not perfect, it handled those situations.
From ideas I've read, I've reset my backup in iTunes, I've emptied my outlook calendar, synced it empty to ipod, imported my outlook calendar back, and synced it to ipod forcing it to "overwrite", but problem entries still remains.
I've read some people say they no longer use recurring entries. Not an option for me. If I have a client for a year that wants to meet every Tuesday at 2:00 pm, but oh, I can't July 13, he can't October 19, how am I supposed to remember on those future dates, that the PDA while saying there is a meeting, there really isn't one?
How do I go about with the entries out by an hour. Show up for every meeting one hour early, in case my PDA is wrong. Not acceptable.
I've played with both date settings on the ipod (one is the ipod date, one is the calendar date). And both settings on my computer (calendar time zone and computer time zone). My computer has a DST switch, ipod does not. I'm really begining to hate DST both on the impact it has for a human body to switch, but also all the crap it causes in a more and more and more technologically connected world. But I have to rely on a city selection choice, that ipod knows if it goes with DST or not??? I don't really trust Apple on that one, sorry, it seems they've not latched on to the concept of time correctly. So I don't trust their DST on or off decisions, that I can't tell if they've done or not. I can't find any GMT time zones, I can find UTC, but no number is beside it (I want to choose my offset number of the time zone I'm in).
While I like many kewl Apps the ipod touch has, the bottom line is, I need a PDA with a calendar. And I need a calendar that is accurate. And I don't want to enter 48 entries manaully in outlook 2007, when I can enter 52 with just one recurring effort, and delete 2 that don't work on a specific future day.
I don't want to arrive an hour early for a meeting, cause I can't trust if calendar entry is correct or out by an hour.
How can I tell if DST is on or off on the iPod (I do business monthly in an area that does not do DST). Playing around with time settings in my iPod to try to get most calendar items accurate with their time, but after a sync, it changes my time zone on the iPod to Phoenix. And I normally have it set to Calgary. I know Calgary is MST (with DST), but what is Phoenix? Why should I have to look up what time zone they are in, or do they do DST? Why does my ipod time zone change after a Sync!!!
I'm a small business owner, but if Apple is not ready for Prime time, someone please tell me. I have a 10 year old son who wants my new ipod toy, and I'm starting to feel it is only that, a toy, not yet ready for business.
Thank you for reading thus far

I can't understand this question, can you clarify?
By 'put a CD into itunes' did you mean you were viewing a CD in itunes or you had imported the tracks from the CD into your itunes library?
On what screen were you seeing 'no sync high lighted' and what does that mean?
Do you sync your entire library automatically with your ipod, do you need to select tracks to be automatically synced, or you manually manage your ipod's library?

  • My Outlook 2007 Calendar stopped syncing with my iCloud Calendar

My iCloud Calendar no longer syncs with my Outlook 2007 Calendar.  When someone sends me a mobileme invite it shows up in my Outlook but not my iCloud.  When I click refresh iCloud, it doesn't.  What do I do?

I upgraded to 8.1.1 and thought this might have solved a problem, but the syncing between outlook.com and the IOS device is not robust, and can be broken pretty easily.
Here is a repeatable problem that causes the syncing to stop if there are 2 outlook.com calendars being synced with an IOS device:
    1) Reconfigure Outlook.com Account on IOS device.  This downloads all existing outlook.com calendar entries and starts clean.
    2)  Create "appointment 1" in "calendar 1" on outlook.com (This will sync with Ipad without a problem)
    3)  Create "appointment 2" in "calendar 2" on Ipad (This will sync with outlook.com without a problem)
    4)  Edit "appointment 1" on Ipad to switch it from "calendar 1" to "calendar 2".
The appointment will NOT switch on outlook.com, and all syncing between outlook.com and the IOS calendar appears to stop after this.  There may be other edits/changes that would cause this problem, or perhaps the syncing would just stop on its own anyway.
This is a pretty desirable workflow/process.  (i.e. Person 1/Calendar 1 switches responsibility for an appointment to Person2/Calendar2.... or... Person 1/Calendar 1 makes an appointment on the IPAD, and then later wants to modify it when they are at their PC.

  • ITunes 11 is not syncing my Outlook 2007 calendar on my iPhone 5 on a Windows 7 PC

ITunes 11 is not syncing my Outlook 2007 calendar on my iPhone 5 on a Windows 7 PC.
I have tried a number of things such as:
Repairing the outlook.pst file with scan pst.exe. This did not work.
Uninstalling all apple software on the PC and then reinstalling it. This did not work.
Turning addins off and on in outlook. This did not work.
Changing outlook.pst files. This did not work.
Replacing iPhone content with content on PCM. This did not work.
Restoring the iPhone does not work.
    Nothing works.
I have been working on this issue for a couple of days. It is driving me crazy. I am inches from formatting my hard drive.
Everything worked fine until the most recent iTunes update.

Same here. Spent about an hour trying various solutions to similar problems on other forums before discovering this one, which matches my symptoms exactly. iPad doesn't have this issue, only iPhone 4S.
My iTunes Match renews in two days. This is about the umpteenth disappointment with the service. I almost certainly won't be renewing now.
