Outlook 2007 Calendar Sharing - This Sharing Message is Not Valid...

I have a user who is unable to share her calendar by sending sharing invitation. The invitation goes out but says "This sharing message is not valid. All action buttons have been disabled. Then where it should say the name of the user-Calendar, it says
(SenderNot Verified) - Calendar. I have tried new profile, deleting entries in credential manager, cached mode off or on, deleting cached entries on the receivers end, etc. But still the sharing messages continue.
We are on Exchange 2010, and she is using Outlook 2007 on Windows 7 with two domains in a single forest.  Recipients are a mix of Outlook 2007, 2010 and 2013.
Has anyone seen this?!?
John M.

Just came across this post while perusing for an answer to the exact same issue.  The user has Outlook 2013 and has successfully sent a calendar sharing invite to several users with a mix of Outlook 2013 & 2010.  However, there are a few
users who receive the (Sender not verified), with the option grayed out to "Open this Calendar."  Tried same troubleshooting methods of creating a new profile, turning cached mode off, deleting/recreating offline address book; same result.

    Hi,
Is Exchange account the default account in Outlook?
Does this issue occur on all users? (If no, please try to recreate problematic user’s profile to check this issue)
    Please check the following setting:
    Open AD users and computers.
Right-click on problematic user to properties.
Under General tab, check if the E-mail field is right.

  • Microsoft C++ Runtime Error when synching Q5 to Outlook 2007 calendar

Attempting to synch my Q5 to Outlook 2007 calendar I get an error message that states: <Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
Program:ResearchinMotion\BlackberryLlink\BlackBerryLink.exe. The app has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the app's support team for more info.>
I am running Windows XP and Office Professional 2007.
I have had the phone for more than a year and only recently has this problem developed. I have uninstalled BlackBerryLink from my programs and my downloads and re-installed it 3 times. Each time I attempt to synch it takes 19-22 minutes "Getting status information from BlackBerry Calendar " before the the error message appears. I have checked and the only calendars synching are Home and BBLink.
@BlackBerryHelp sent me to a knowledge base article blck.by/1wEvCts  on Lotus Notes even after I explained 3 times that I was using Outlook not Lotus Notes. Then they told me to contact "Windows".
So far I have missed 1 very important meeting because the appointment was not in my phone. Please help! I love my BB Q5 and I REALLY need my calendars to synch!!!
    Solved!

Options are limited.  If you call Microsoft at 1 (800) 642-7676 I think they will tell you the same thing.  I'm not sure what to suggest since Windows XP is no longer supported and that runtime could be out of date.

  • Outlook 2007 calendar entries appear in iPhone calendar as invites

Has anyone found a solution to the problem of new entries into my own PC Outlook 2007 calendar (on a university server, not on the hard drive itself), transferred via Microsoft Exchange to my 2.0 iPhone appearing as 'invitations' instead of simply calendar entries? These can't be edited or modified, just accepted, declined or maybe'd. Entries made on the iPhone calendar sync to the Outlook calendar normally, as simple events, not invitations.
I've seen comments about case sensitivity of the log-in ID but mine is simply my lower case initials on both systems.
I spoke to an Apple product specialist -- nice but clueless on this issue.
    Any discoveries to share?

    Hi!
Sorry If I'm hijacking your thread, but I believe we and another company are having similar issues... It appears sometimes (but not always) a meeting will be accepted on the iPhone, appear on the Calendar but never sync back to the server. The acceptance request on the Outlook side shows "This meeting is not on the Calendar. It has been moved or deleted". If viewing this message on the iPhone, it IS on the Calendar. If viewing in Outlook, it IS NOT. Hope I made that clear??? This is possible to have the reverse where a meeting is accepted in Outlook but doesn't appear on the iPhone. For us (and a buddy with similar Exchange config) this is intermittent and cannot be easily duplicated as most meetings are handled properly. This is effecting multiple users but the only common thread is they all have iPhones running Exchange ActiveSync.
We've already tried different release versions, wiping the device, all the basic stuff. Log files on the Exchange server are clear (no errors).
As far as we can tell, this started happening (or was first noticed) about 3 weeks ago. Nothing has been changed on the server side of things...
Just hoping for some insight, suggestions, or positive thoughts...
    TIA!

  • Outlook 2007 Calendar not syncing any more with Blackberry Bold

I am looking for possible causes to a problem that started some time over the last 2 weeks. My BB has been running 4.6.0.162 (put out by Rogers, my provider) and I'm using the 4.6 Desktop Manager.
Until then, whenever I'd sync my BB Bold with my Outlook 2007 Calendar (on Vista), everything (Calendar, Memo, Contacts & Tasks) would sync with no problems.
Since that time, (although I didn't realize it at first) calendar appointment items that were entered on one side would not be synced on the other side, i.e: BB calendar appointment items would stay on the BB, Outlook 2007 calendar appointment items would stay on the PC. Everything else syncs OK. In fact, new tasks that have a due date will be added to the other side's calendar with no problems!
I've tried different things, including rebooting both sides, deleting the calendar file on the BB, etc., but to no avail.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated!
    Thanks.

  • ITunes 11 is not syncing my Outlook 2007 calendar on my iPhone 5 on a Windows 7 PC

ITunes 11 is not syncing my Outlook 2007 calendar on my iPhone 5 on a Windows 7 PC.
I have tried a number of things such as:
Repairing the outlook.pst file with scan pst.exe. This did not work.
Uninstalling all apple software on the PC and then reinstalling it. This did not work.
Turning addins off and on in outlook. This did not work.
Changing outlook.pst files. This did not work.
Replacing iPhone content with content on PCM. This did not work.
Restoring the iPhone does not work.
    Nothing works.
I have been working on this issue for a couple of days. It is driving me crazy. I am inches from formatting my hard drive.
Everything worked fine until the most recent iTunes update.

Same here. Spent about an hour trying various solutions to similar problems on other forums before discovering this one, which matches my symptoms exactly. iPad doesn't have this issue, only iPhone 4S.
My iTunes Match renews in two days. This is about the umpteenth disappointment with the service. I almost certainly won't be renewing now.

  • Outlook 2007 Calendar Reminders Still Making Sound on IPhone

I recently got an Iphone, and synch to my Outlook 2007 calendar. Although I set the Calendar Reminder (can't remember exactly what it's called) in the iphone 'Settings' to 'Off', my iphone still makes a sound when a reminder is generated by Outlook. Do you know how to turn this off without muting the entire phone?

Picked up my iPhone last Friday and am running into the same trouble syncing iPhone with Outlook calendar. Calendar Sound Setting is off, but unless phone is on silent mode, the calendar alerts remain audible. Met with Mac Genius and was advised to restore iPhone, which I did. However, this did not fix the problem.
Perhaps try restoring your iPhone through iTunes and see if you have more luck. Make sure you have all iPhone data backed up on your computer, as it will erase all data and media.

  • Problems syncing outlook 2007 calendar and ipod classic

I did a quick search and found many people with this problem but no solution that worked for me.
Basically my outlook 2007 calendar has suddenly stopped syncing with my ipod (I'm running Vista 64). Although I can see my calendar in the contacts tab - and there is a progress bar when i sync my ipod for calendars to sync - i cannot view any appointments on my ipod. Contacts from Outlook, however, are still syncing fine.
I have tried to reset all disabled products on the help menu in outlook but this hasn't worked. Others have suggested that Outlook should be open before trying to sync, this also didn't work.
Does anyone have any ideas how to sort this out short of manually transferring my appointments to my ipod.
Not sure if it is of any relevance but my calendar file on my ipod is currently completely empty at the moment.

After countless hours of restoring the **** ipod I've finally got my calendar back on it. I think what finally did it was backing up my calendar in outlook and then deleting it, syncing the ipod with the new blank outlook calendar and then reloading my backed up calendar in outlook and syncing my ipod again with the calendar. I know there's a lot of folks in the same position I was in so I hope this helps.

  • Can't sync Outlook 2007 Calendar on iPhone 3G, iOS 4, iTunes 9.2, WindowsXP

I did upgrade my iPhone 3G to iOS 4.0 and iTunes to 9.2. Now I can’t sync Outlook 2007 calendar. Contacts and notes are ok.
I did try to sync on Windows XP SP3 and Vista SP2. I was unable to sync calendar on both computers.
I had this problem before with iTunes 9x. I was able to fix it creating a new PST file and copying all folders to this new file.
Now with iOS 4.x and iTunes 9.2 it doesn’t work. I did uninstall iTunes, clear the Windows registry, and delete all Apple folders. I also downloaded again iTunes and install it from zero. It didn’t work at all.
I also uncheck, check, recheck the Advanced options in iTunes to delete, doesn’t synchronize calendars, and contacts on iPhone… nothing works.
What else can I do to fix this pain? Any suggestion?
    Daniel

Same problem here. Just bought an iPhone 3GS, downloaded iTunes 9.2 and it crashes my Outlook 2007. Outlook simply stops responding, and I have to kill it. Won't even start in Safe Mode. I have to restart the computer to revive it. Next time I start iTunes -- CRASH!
I bought the iPhone because I wanted to sych my emails, calendars and notes. Do I have to return the iPhone now?

  • Outlook 2007 calendar

Has anyone else noticed that Saint Patrick's day is showing as Monday March 16, instead of the correct Tuesday, March 17th in Outlook 2007 Calendar?

    Thank you for your feedback.
Could you please provide us the log files?
    1. Here are the instructions for attaching log files:
    - Open Nokia Ovi Suite 3.0.0.284
    - Enable log gathering by double-clicking the enable_logs.js file in installation folder C:\Program Files\Nokia\Nokia Ovi Suite
    - Click the button to start enabling the logs when prompted by the dialogue
    - Click the button to confirm the "Logs are enabled" dialogue
    - Exit Nokia Ovi Suite from File - Exit. This is mandatory! Closing NOS to system tray is not enough!
    - Open Nokia Ovi Suite again
    - Try to reproduce the error you are reporting
    - If the error still exists, double click the collect_logs.js file in installation folder C:\Program Files\Nokia\Nokia Ovi Suite
    - Click the button to start collecting the logs when prompted by the dialogue
    - Click the button to confirm the "Logs collect & zip finished" dialogue
    - Attach the NOS2_logs.zip file in C:\Temp\NOS2 folder and screenshots in the error reporting form
    - Go to your %TEMP% folder, which can be found by entering %TEMP% to the Windows Explorer's address bar. Then search debug_log_date.txt in this folder, where date is the current date (or choose the latest one) and attach also this file in the error reporting form. The exact %TEMP% folder paths are:
    In XP: C:\Documents and settings\your_username\LocalSettings\Temp\

  • Sync Outlook 2007 Calendar

In the Outlook contacts, when you put the birthday on "John" contact it automatically creates a entry on calendar with the name "John's Birhday".
Now when you sync your outlook 2007 calendar with iphone, those "john's Birthday" entries does not appear on IPhone.
    Does anyone knows why ?

I am so angry with Apple I could scream!
I bought the first iPhone the day it came out and spent a month, and more hours than I care to remember, working with the Apple technicians before they finally got the phone to synch with Outlook, as it was advertised to do.
Apple does not adequately test their products, especially software, before shipping it. We got the phones the same day at their technical support people.
And now with the new 2.0 software release, the SAME PROBLEM is back!!! The same frustrated users trying to get the product to work as advertised with the same software bugs!!
I currently on hold waiting to ask the technical support people to let me download the old software until they fix the bugs and get this working.
I love this phone, but I will never buy another Apple product or download another Apple software program without waiting for months for the early adopters to spend all of their free time debugging Apple products for them.
BTW, the problem for most of us caused by the inability for the iTunes add in to load in Outlook. In Outlook 2007 go to : Tools : Trust Center : Addins . There should be an iTunes add in that allows the programs to sync.

  • How to sync outlook 2007 calendar with Iphone 4?

How do I sync my outlook 2007 calendar with my iphone 4? It used to happen, now it won't work. Thank you.

    Howdy there Connie,
If your Outlook 2007 is still not syncing to your phone I would like to recommend the following article to help you troubleshoot the Sync Services between your the two devices, named:
Troubleshooting Sync Services on Windows with Microsoft Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, or Outlook 2010
First backup your data, THEN proceed with the articles troubleshooting step by step until it is resolved:
    Back up your data
Refer to this Microsoft article for steps to back up the data in your PST file used by Microsoft Outlook 2003 or Microsoft Outlook 2007. This Microsoft article explains where the Microsoft Outlook 2010 data files are located.
For information about backing up the data in your OST file, contact your Exchange Administrator. Your OST file should be on the server and backed up when the server is backed up.
Before troubleshooting, it is recommended that you make a copy of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch backup in a safe place. For more information about where to find the backup and what information it contains, refer to About backups.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

  • How to Sync Outlook 2007 Calendar

I am able to sync Outlook Contacts but NOT Outlook 2007 Calendar. I keep getting told to log out of Windows and logh back in, but that does not help either. I have only one Outlook Calender. Seems odd that I can grab Contacts, but not the Celndar file..... Help

    Hi to all,
I am unable to sync neither my calendar nor my contacts to my brand new 160GB iPod classic from iTunes 7.5. All ticked and enabled in preferences, I am aufait with iTunes so I have all the settings correctly enabled - I believe my stumbling block is Outlook/Office 2007 Enterprise Edition??? I have switched to Vista in the last few weeks but that is not the root of the problem, as I had this problem first on my last machine - XP HOME.
Is there a conflict with new generation iPod's and Outlook 2007?

  • My Outlook 2007 Calendar stopped syncing with my iCloud Calendar

My iCloud Calendar no longer syncs with my Outlook 2007 Calendar.  When someone sends me a mobileme invite it shows up in my Outlook but not my iCloud.  When I click refresh iCloud, it doesn't.  What do I do?

I upgraded to 8.1.1 and thought this might have solved a problem, but the syncing between outlook.com and the IOS device is not robust, and can be broken pretty easily.
Here is a repeatable problem that causes the syncing to stop if there are 2 outlook.com calendars being synced with an IOS device:
    1) Reconfigure Outlook.com Account on IOS device.  This downloads all existing outlook.com calendar entries and starts clean.
    2)  Create "appointment 1" in "calendar 1" on outlook.com (This will sync with Ipad without a problem)
    3)  Create "appointment 2" in "calendar 2" on Ipad (This will sync with outlook.com without a problem)
    4)  Edit "appointment 1" on Ipad to switch it from "calendar 1" to "calendar 2".
The appointment will NOT switch on outlook.com, and all syncing between outlook.com and the IOS calendar appears to stop after this.  There may be other edits/changes that would cause this problem, or perhaps the syncing would just stop on its own anyway.
This is a pretty desirable workflow/process.  (i.e. Person 1/Calendar 1 switches responsibility for an appointment to Person2/Calendar2.... or... Person 1/Calendar 1 makes an appointment on the IPAD, and then later wants to modify it when they are at their PC.

  • Outlook 2007 Calendar doesn't sync!

Hi, can't sync Outlook 2007 calendar with my 120gb. Contacts-sync is OK but no calendar!!?? Tried to disable Add-Ins, but still the same. Any help??? Thx

This problem probably exists because you're using work Outlook connected to an Exchange server. In that case contacts sync but for whatever reason your calendar won't.
Here's the Apple Support fine-print on that....
This sure seems like something Apple should make a lot clearer on their mobile me marketing materials....
    Symptoms
In the MobileMe Control Panel for Windows' Sync tab, you may not be able to select calendars to sync with MobileMe (the Calendars selection appears dimmed, or "grayed out").
    Products Affected
    MobileMe
    Resolution
    This can occur if:
    * Microsoft Outlook is not installed: Calendar syncing is only supported for Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007. If you do not have either of these installed in Windows, Calendar syncing with MobileMe is not available.
    * *Outlook is installed but connected to a Microsoft Exchange Server, and MobileMe Control Panel 1.2 or later is installed. If Outlook is connected to Exchange, Calendar syncing with MobileMe is not available. For more information about MobileMe and Exchange syncing, see this article.*
If Outlook is installed and is not connected to an Exchange Server, but Calendars is still dimmed:
    1. Close the MobileMe Control Panel
    2. Open Outlook
    3. Quit Outlook
    4. Open the MobileMe Control Panel and try again
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, restart your PC, and Calendars should then be selectable from the MobileMe Control Panel.
