Outlook 2007 Invitations Missing

I've been having a problem for a while where invitations my wife sends me from Outlook 2007 are accepted on to my Google calendar but don't appear on my iPhone calendar even though they appear on my Google Calendar.  I have dug a bit deeper and found out the following information.  If I look at the appointments in an .ICS file exported from my calendar, I see a number of Microsoft specific tags and it looks like these are getting truncated.  It looks like this started happening right around when I switched from using the Google Sync via Exchange to using the Gmail direct sync on my iOS devices, invitations before this time don't have any Microsoft specific tags.  My theory is that there's something in the iOS calendar processing that is ignoring appointments when these tags are truncated, though I don't know how to confirm or get this fixed.
Not sure who should fix this, Google looks like they are sending truncated data but the iOS calendar app shouldn't be thrown off by a bad Microsoft specific tag.  I can use other Calendar apps on my iPhone which pick up these appointments.  I've posted this same response on the Google Calendar forum at:

Hi,
This issue is often caused by a mobile device syncing with the Calendar. So try to update the mobile device. Please check whether UserA can view attendees in OWA. Please enable Exchange and Outlook logging to help confirm what is actually happening with
these meetings. Also try to send a meeting to UserA in Outlook to check whether the issue can reproduced.

  • Exchange 2007/Outlook 2007 - Attendees Missing In Meeting

    We have a user (UserA) who is unable to see attendees in multiple meetings.
    After reviewing one specific meeting, I saw:
    1.  From the organizer's account, I confirmed that the meeting does have multiple required attendees.
    2.  The meeting was not forwarded to UserA.  UserA is a required attendee.
    3.  UserA experiences the problem on multiple devices.
    4.  As a test from my account, I viewed the Organizer's calendar and was able to see the attendees successfully.
    I've tried refreshing Free/Busy from the appointment.  I've tried using outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy and that does not appear to work.  My senior and I are kind of at a loss with this one because we've never seen this.
    Exchange SP3 2007 Rollup 11/Outlook 2007 SP3 is being used.
    Any assistance would be appreciated with this.

  • PDF Maker icons ("Acrobat (8 Pro) ribbon") missing Outlook 2007 Win XP

    Hi. I have Acrobat 8 Pro and Outlook 2007 (not Outlook Express) on Win XP patched current, and the PDF Maker icons ("Acrobat ribbon") is missing from my Outlook Mail window.
    Acrobat Create PDF is in the Menu in Word 2007 and works fine there.
    I have followed all the instructions in
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/403/kb403561.html
    and all in
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/401/kb401734.html
    except Acrobat Repair or re-installing Acrobat (or Registry edit which is clearly not called for as the dll is already Active), and still no joy. I have verified that PDFMOutlook.dll is in the Active list in Trust Center (and of course therefore it is not disabled) in my Outlook. Still, it fails to appear in my drop-list of Toolbars, therefore I cannot fix the problem myself because the standard answer (choose that Toolbar) is not available on my workstation.
    ====> Do you recommend un-installing and re-installing? If yes, are you saying there is no risk I will make matters worse? Is there instead some way for me to determine what is actually wrong?
    Thanks for any help.
    Jim

    Tried from another computer with XP and 8 Pro still didn't work so tried from a Win7 machine with adobe X standard and it worked everytime.  Just ordered the upgrade because their time is more valuable than the cost.
    Thanks

  • Outlook 2007/2010 with Exchange 2010 missing tasks operation has failed only on PC not OWA

    We have searched this topic to no success I'm baffled as to how to resolve this problem.
    End user software: Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010,
    Server side: MS Server 2012 R2 with MS Exchange 2010
    Scenario: We have merged 2 forests together to a new forest. Months before hand had rolled out exchange 2010. A majority of users in
    forest2 still are on Office 2007 where as users in
    forest1 are nearly all on Office 2010.
    Now so far we have 3 users (from Forest2) whom have reported 'missing tasks' with the message 'Operation has Failed' when attempting to view their tasks.
    We have ran the outlook commands related to this type of issue that clear the reminders and resetting them with - No Success.
    They have no issue when using OWA, or Outlook via mobile device. The issue only occurs on PC. We have tried profile rebuilds, fresh SOE, the issue appears to be resolved but the next time the user opens Outlook the problem comes back.
    On the server we have ran all the integrity checks no corruption has been found in any way.

    Hi,
    I recommend that you try the following method on client PC and then check the result:
    Click Start >> Click Run >> Type outlook.exe /resettodobar
    >> Click OK.
    Hope this helps!
    Thanks.

  • TS5179 I've been bitten by the "Missing MSVCR.dll file" problem when downloading the latest iTunes update (PC w/ Win-7 & Outlook-2007#. 'Have followed Apple's instructions of un-installing all Apple software, and re-installing it. #out of space...??)

    I've been bitten by the "Missing MSVCR.dll file" problem when downloading the latest iTunes update, 11.4.62 (on a PC w/ Win-7 & Outlook-2007#. 'Have followed Apple's instructions of un-installing all Apple software, and re-installing it (Ugh).  First result Outlook couldn't find my 1,385 item contact file in iCloud, although the outlook distribution lists were there.  Second result, upon installing iCloud again, I have two iCloud contact files shown in outlook - "iCloud" & iCloud, within iCloud".  1,332 & 1,385 contacts respectively.
    Plus an iCloud installation error message saying iCloud moved 6,835 files to a "deleted items folder" somewhere.  This is NOT fun at 72-yrs old...!!
    So, how do I make sure I haven't lost anythying from Outlook?   Russ-AZ

    Interesting response, Kappy  -  Back to original post: "First result: Outlook couldn't find my 1,385 item contact file in iCloud, although the outlook distribution lists were there (therefore, initially I had lost my contact file from Outlook).  Second result, upon installing iCloud again, I now have two iCloud contact files shown in Outlook - "iCloud" & iCloud, within iCloud".  W/ 1,332 & 1,385 contacts respectively.
    Plus an iCloud installation error message saying iCloud moved 6,835 files to a "deleted items folder" somewhere.  This is NOT fun at 72-yrs old...!!
    So, how do I make sure I haven't lost anythying from Outlook?   Russ-AZ"
    You can safely assume that I have tried using it!   So, to make things a little clearer:
         1)  I now have two iCloud "contacts files", w/ a different total count. What's the difference?  Why the different toatl count?
         2)  Since re-installing the Apple software (part of the MSVCR" recovery instructions) "couldn't possible affected Outlook", why am I getting an iCloud installation error message saying iCloud moved 6,835 files to a "deleted items folder" somewhere.  What's in those files? And where are they?
    Probably more important questions get down to:
         3)  Why is a basic Apple product upgrade "screwing-up Outlook"?  This iTunes upgrade, failing to install properly forced Outlook 2007 into a 2-min start-up cycle.  Which was fixed with this "Goat-Rpdeo" of re-installing MSVCR80.dll.
         4)  And under the latest release of iOS-7.0.4 on our iPhones, why is Apple now forcing us to use the iCloud to back-up our contacts, calendars & tasks, vs. allowing these files to be backed-up directly on our PC's via the USB cable?
    Thanks again for your interest and comments.  - Russ-AZ

  • Outlook 2007 calendar entries appear in iPhone calendar as invites

    Has anyone found a solution to the problem of new entries into my own PC Outlook 2007 calendar (on a university server, not on the hard drive itself), transferred via Microsoft Exchange to my 2.0 iPhone appearing as 'invitations' instead of simply calendar entries? These can't be edited or modified, just accepted, declined or maybe'd. Entries made on the iPhone calendar sync to the Outlook calendar normally, as simple events, not invitations.
    I've seen comments about case sensitivity of the log-in ID but mine is simply my lower case initials on both systems.
    I spoke to an Apple product specialist -- nice but clueless on this issue.
    Any discoveries to share?

    Hi!
    Sorry If I'm hijacking your thread, but I believe we and another company are having similar issues... It appears sometimes (but not always) a meeting will be accepted on the iPhone, appear on the Calendar but never sync back to the server. The acceptance request on the Outlook side shows "This meeting is not on the Calendar. It has been moved or deleted". If viewing this message on the iPhone, it IS on the Calendar. If viewing in Outlook, it IS NOT. Hope I made that clear??? This is possible to have the reverse where a meeting is accepted in Outlook but doesn't appear on the iPhone. For us (and a buddy with similar Exchange config) this is intermittent and cannot be easily duplicated as most meetings are handled properly. This is effecting multiple users but the only common thread is they all have iPhones running Exchange ActiveSync.
    We've already tried different release versions, wiping the device, all the basic stuff. Log files on the Exchange server are clear (no errors).
    As far as we can tell, this started happening (or was first noticed) about 3 weeks ago. Nothing has been changed on the server side of things...
    Just hoping for some insight, suggestions, or positive thoughts...
    TIA!

  • Outlook 2007 Meeting Invite show optional attendees on form when creating the meeting

    Hi - When I create a meeting I see the "to" box and the list of attendees - but cannot differentiate on the form who is required vs who is optional.  How do I display the attendees and their role as they are displayed in the pop up to select
    attendees.. meaning there is a line for required, a seperate line displaying optional, and a seperate line displaying resources.
    thank you.

    Hi,
    In Outlook 2007 when we are creating a meeting, we can't differentiate between the Required Attendee and the Optional Attendee directly from the "To" field. Instead, we need to switch to Scheduling Assistant to see the difference:

  • Icloud add-in is missing in outlook 2007

    I installed icloud control panel on Windows 7 running Outlook 2007...The first time it synced by Contacts to iCloud.  After that,no more syncing. I checked for icloud add-in trust center..nothing.
    I have uninstalled and installed icloud countless times...tried everything..
    Contacts will sync the first time (causing more duplications), but after that...nothing.
    I also have added constact to the icloud contacts (not regular contacts folder)...no sync..
    I have called apple support...they listened but no help.
    icloud is worthless!?

    I had this problem and have just now solved it. Here is what I did.
    My system is Win 7 Ultimate with Outlook 2013 64 Bit.
    1. Unchecked the tick in front of "Mail, Contacts, Calenders and Tasks" in the iCloud Control Panel
    2. Signed out of the iCloud Control Panel
    3. Uninstalled the control panel
    4. Rebooted
    5. Access the "Mail" applet in the Windows 7 Control Panel
    6. Clicked the "Show Profiles" button
    7. Clicked on the "Add..." button and created a new profile
    8. I set this "New" profile as the default one by selecting "Always use this profile" and picking the new profile just created
    9. Downloaded the iCloud control panel and reinstalled it
    10. Let the iCloud Control Panel do its thing.
    11. Setup your me.com or icloud.com address when prompted
    12. Start up Outlook
    13. iCloud will start up and setup the Outlook System to work with iCloud
    14. Problem Solved
    15. Add all your other email accounts now

  • My problem: Missing emails. I have an iphone 5s. I'm using Outlook 2007 on a PC.

    Some emails to one of accounts show up on my iphone, some on my PC (Outlook 2007). But not both. Ideas??
    Example. I get an email on a business email address I've set up (eg - [email protected]). It appears in my Outlook inbox on my PC. It doesn't appear on my Iphone. I reply. The original email sender responds. Her email shows up on my iphone, But not in Outlook. Logically, her two emails from me should show up in both locations. Instead, the first is coming only to my Outlook, then the second to only my iphone.
    Ideas for fixing??
    (I believe that I have set it up so that the emails stay on the server.)

    My husband and I are using the same iTunes account on all mac & pc computers, but the libraries are different on each machine.  We always manually manage our music (no auto sync).  iTunes is up to date on the PCs.  My husband uses our joint iTunes account on his pc, but once again, has a different collection in his library from those on the other machines.  He can't load any music from his PC to his iphone 4.  I can load music from my mac library to my iphone 4s, but cannot load from my pc library to my iphone 4s.  How can I switch my main library that it syncs with from the mac to the pc?
    Thanks

  • Outlook 2007 won't open .pst file from Outlook 2000

    I have been using Outlook 2000 for 10 years and hit the 2GB limit. As a result, Outlook 2000 would not open mail and did not permit me to delete mail to clear space.
    I’d been meaning to install my Office 2007 and this seemed like the time to do so. Once installed, I attempted to open my 2 GB PST file in Outlook 2007. No luck.
    Messages: “The message interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook.” And “Cannot display information. There is either a problem connecting to the server or an error has occurred.”
    Researching on the Web, I found Microsoft guidance that I could create a new data file and import the old (ANSI) .PST file into this new (Unicode) .PST file. When I did
    that, during the Import, I encountered another error message: “The file has reached its maximum size. (Followed by two unhelpful sentences – can’t be imported).”
    OK, I think, I have to reduce the size of that file. Research yields Microsoft’s “oversized PST and PST crop tool.”
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/296088 I do that and follow the instructions to scan the truncated file with Microsoft’s
    scanpst.exe tool, which is included with Office.
    Another error: scanpst.exe will not complete its scan. I receive a mysterious error message with no indication what the exact problem is. I created multiple versions
    of the truncated .PST file, each smaller than the last, so that the smallest was 1.7 GB. Still errors with scanpst.exe and ultimately no luck.
    I have spent more than 10 hours trying to solve this problem and am at wit’s end. I’m a freelance writer, and it’s costing me money. What’s worse,
    info on projects I’m supposed to be working on are locked in that PST file! All data is stored locally on a Dell laptop with Windows 7.
    Help anybody? Please? Thank you!

    Fifteen hours later, I was back in business, having upgraded from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2007, a process one would expect to take a half-hour tops. I'm no IT pro, but
    I am pretty accomplished at fixing problems. This one seemed beyond my reach, as neither of the utilities Microsoft recommended to address the issue, the truncation tool and scanpst.exe, worked -- what a surprise! I engaged a local technician to diagnose the
    problem remotely, and over a course of four hours he fixed it using a third-party program called "Outlook Recovery Toolbox." I'd actually downloaded that tool and fooled around a bit, but didn't use it for a full scan as I think that required a purchase, and
    who knows if it's malware or what. Well, it worked.
    So 15 hours lost. That cost me hundreds of dollars as I am self-employed, plus I have a $150 bill from the technician, which is more than fair for his two hours of labor
    (the extra two hours were scanning and importing time). Again, Microsoft managed to turn into an epic ordeal what the consumer expects to be a straightforward upgrade process.
    Now I have Outlook 2007, oh boy! The first thing I notice is the inflexible mail header above the message body. WTF is that supposed to be? Who was the Einstein who thought
    that up? It renders USELESS like an inch of real estate right in the center of the screen! I find that it can be hidden (not, of course, with a simple, convenient and sensible right click ... oh NOOOO ... but through multi-click options available in the toolbar).
    (For background, Outlook 2000 did not have that inflexible mail header -- the header info (subject, date, sender, CC) was part of the email, so if you scrolled down the
    email, the header went with it and made the best possible use of available space).
    Now here's a twist -- Outlook does not show, in your list of emails, whether an email has an attachment if the email was sent via Lotus Notes. That was a glitch in 2000,
    and one I would expect to have been resolved in 2007. BUT NO. So, just moments ago, I have an email/meeting invitation sent from a client using Lotus Notes. Even though I had told Outlook to hide headers, it disobeyed me ...
    why? Because this was a "meeting invite" email, offering me options, in that stupid inflexible header, to Accept, Decline, Propose New Time, & etc. Well, those options only increased the size of that inflexible header, so that the visible area of
    the email WAS LESS THAN ONE INCH HIGH. Yes, I can adjust it -- how very productive!
    These two Microsoft glitches / manifestations of poor design -- no alerting to attachments from Lotus clients and that horrid header -- very nearly conspired to cause
    me to miss a critical attachment displayed only at the very bottom of the email. The document attached needs to be read and commented before the meeting, and only by the grace of God did I happen to scroll, IN THAT 3/4 INCH MAIL WINDOW, to the bottom and happen
    to spot said critical attachment.
    Do I expect anything more from Microsoft ... other than more grief and stupidity? Sadly, I do not. It is my misfortune in life to have to use Microsoft Word on a daily
    basis, as I have for the past 10 years.
    Before that, I used WordPerfect and what a wonderful program it was! I recall using WordPerfect to write and design one lovely graphical document in particular that earned
    me an A+ in class. WordPerfect was so easy and powerful, with virtually no hassles—just gratification. Is it better to have loved (WordPerfect) and lost, than to have never loved at all?
    Unfortunately, since all my clients use Word, I have to as well. Frankly, and I hope this isn’t against board rules, I am merely speaking the truth as I see it—Microsoft
    Word is an utterly wretched application that has caused me untold grief and aggravation. Bulleting, text boxes, fickle fonts, the list is very, very long …. But it only gets worse!!!
    The whole .doc .vs
    docx is a complete debacle; the “Compatibility Pack” is a cruel joke. If I use Word 2000 on .docx documents, here are some of the inconveniences and frustrations that I encounter:
    Bulleting function grayed out
    Spelling errors not highlighted
    Additional linespaces introduced into printed documents
    Mysterious transposition of bold, italics and underlining
    Inability to work with text boxes (“Error! Reference source not found!”)
    Track Changes not accurately recorded
    These are not incidental issues. I’m a spelling bee champion, but unless the spelling highlight function works, I am bound to have a typo or two in a 20-page document.
    This affects the quality of my work and my livelihood.
    To make matters worse, my Windows 7 often won’t find .docx documents. If I had worked on a .docx document something four months that I recall included the word
    “Rumplestiltskin,” the Windows 7 Find function should locate it, but it does not.
    I could go on and on. How about the dismal wireless connectivity in Window 7, vs. XP, which was virtually flawless. But I’m trying to catch up on the 15 hours that I lost yesterday thanks to Microsoft’s
    awful Outlook troubleshooting and upgrade functionality.

  • Icloud is no longer syncing to my outlook 2007.

    My iPhone is syncing to iCloud, but iCloud is no longer syncing the contacts and calendar data to Outlook 2007.  I have a PC, Toshiba laptop, running Windows Vista.  It was working up until about 2 weeks ago.  I need my calendar to sync accurate in order for my billing to be accurate.  Please post any remedies that you might know of.  I have already gone into Settings, Mails-contacts-calendars, default calendar is reflecting the icloud.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I do not sync my mail via iCloud.

    Create a test even on your iPhone calendar, then check your calendar on icloud.com from your computer to see if it appears there.  If not, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar and be sure you have selected an iCloud calendar as your default and not something else like On My iPhone, a Google calendar, etc.  If you haven't, make this change, then add a new event and see if it appears on your calendar on icloud.com now.  If new events still aren't appearing on icloud.com, add any missing calendar events from your phone to your calendar on icloud.com.  Once the calendar on icloud.com is up to date, go to Settings>iCloud, turn Calendars to Off, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (they will still be in iCloud), then after a minute or so, turn Calendars back to On.  Then add a new event on your phone and see if it appears on your calendar on icloud.com now.
    Then repeat this process on your iPad.

  • Help getting Outlook 2007 to sync with proper calendar on Blackberry Curve

    Hi I'm new to this forum and have looked for specific answers but not luck as of yet. I'll try to explain what I need to happen fully so it may seem like I'm rambling.
    I've recently been issued a new computer with Vista and Outlook 2007 for work. Previously I had Win XP and Outlook 2003. Always I had my blackberry set up to recieve all my emails from my personal email accounts as well as my work email.
    My problem is that now when I place items on my Outlook 2007 calendar and sync to my blackberry, my Outlook items don't show up on blackberry and vice versa.
    If I inititiate calander item from blackberry, making sure I am using work email address, it shows up as appt on blackberry calendar but doesn't show up on Outlook.
    If I recieve email invite for appointment on Blackberry, it does show up as appointment. I believe when I set up Outlook 2007 it must be placing the items in a different default calendar, but even though I've selected on blackberry to show all calendars, it still doesn't show up.
    Syncing is working properly between the phone and outlook as far as connection, just not showing up.
    What I want to happen of course is, enter an item on phone and have it sync to outlook, or enter item on outlook and show up on blackberry..but that's not happening. I've tried all settings I can see and am at a loss.
    How can I change what items are in my Outlook 2007 are set as default? It's so screwy I can't even explain what's going on...I'm very tempted to reinstall Outlook 2001 just because it doesn't recognize different calanders so at least all items would show up on blackberry. Help. Thanks.

    Okay update. I've deleted all personal address CICAL files in blackberry except for the one I want to use. I cleaned the service records, did a hard reboot, the resynced my phone.
    All worked well except for Calendar. My Outlook calendar is full on computer but nothing happened to phone calendar. This makes me think that Outlook 2007 is storing all the calendar entries as a different default, rather than my work email address, but I don't know how to change.
    Also, I don't know how to covert entries from one default address to another in Outlook. Probably something in initial setup that I clicked or didn't change properly.
    Another question, I sync via cable (not wireless). One of the options in the intellisync setup is Microsoft Outlook Internet Settings or Outlook. I'm using outlook of course but since the MS Outlook Internet Settings is default choice, I've just left it at that (although when I change it nothing seems to happen anyway). Should this be one way or another?
    Thanks.

  • Outlook 2007 Calendar Monitoring: track send event for recurring meetings

    Hi,
    I'm working on an Outlook 2007, VSTO 2010, .NET 3.5 add-in which monitors AppointmentItem objects changed on the user's calendar. Specifically I'm tracking the send event of the currently selected appointment in the calendar view. Currently my add-in is
    set to cancel the send event and call Display() on the selected appointment instead.
    I'm testing with Outlook 2007 SP3. The event handler is fired correctly for non-recurring meetings when the user changes the start or end time of the meeting and for recurring meeting occurrences / exceptions when the user changes the end time, but not when
    the user changes the start time of a recurring meeting occurrence / exception. These are the specific steps:
    Create a recurring appointment with e.g. 3 occurrences, add at least one attendee and send the invitation.
    Set the Calendar to display a Week View.
    Select the top edge of the first occurrence of the appointment created in step 1 and drag it upwards to increase the length of the appointment by half an hour.
    Release the mouse button and press enter to confirm the change.
    Answer 'Save changes and send update' in the popup.
    At this point the addin should cancel the send event and display the appointment, but actually the event handler is not called. This behavior occurs only when I change the start time of an occurrence / exception. When I change the end time the event handler
    is called correctly.
    Do you have any clue why the event handler is only called for the one change and not for the other? How could I work around this issue?

    Hi Eugene,
    Thanks for your reply. Here is my code:
    public class ExplorerMonitor {private Explorer explorer;private AppointmentItem selectedAppointment;
    public ExplorerMonitor()
    this.explorer = Globals.ThisAddIn.Application.ActiveExplorer();
    this.explorer.SelectionChange += new ExplorerEvents_10_SelectionChangeEventHandler(Explorer_SelectionChange);
    private void Explorer_SelectionChange()
    Selection selection = null;
    object selectedItem = null;
    bool eventsHookedUp = false;
    try
    // first remove the listeners from the previously selected item
    this.StopSelectedItemMonitor();
    selection = this.explorer.Selection;
    if (selection.Count == 1)
    selectedItem = selection[1];
    AppointmentItem appointment = selectedItem as AppointmentItem;
    if (appointment != null)
    this.selectedAppointment = appointment;
    ((ItemEvents_10_Event)this.selectedAppointment).Send
    += new ItemEvents_10_SendEventHandler(SelectedAppointment_Send);
    // Stop monitoring when the item is opened in an explorer window.
    this.selectedAppointment.Open
    += new ItemEvents_10_OpenEventHandler(SelectedAppointment_Open);
    eventsHookedUp = true;
    catch (System.Exception exception)
    logger.Error("Caught in Explorer_SelectionChange", exception);
    finally
    if (!eventsHookedUp)
    // only release if we didn't start monitoring it
    ComMarshaler<object>.releaseComObject(ref selectedItem);
    ComMarshaler<Selection>.releaseComObject(ref selection);
    private void SelectedAppointment_Open(ref bool Cancel)
    this.StopSelectedItemMonitor();
    private void SelectedAppointment_Send(ref bool Cancel)
    Cancel = true;
    this.selectedAppointment.Display();
    private void StopSelectedItemMonitor()
    if (this.selectedAppointment != null)
    this.selectedAppointment.Open -= new ItemEvents_10_OpenEventHandler(SelectedAppointment_Open);
    ((ItemEvents_10_Event)this.selectedAppointment).Send
    -= new ItemEvents_10_SendEventHandler(SelectedAppointment_Send);
    ComMarshaler<AppointmentItem>.releaseComObject(ref this.selectedAppointment);
    public static class ComMarshaler<T>
    public static void releaseComObject(ref T anObject)
    if (anObject != null && Marshal.IsComObject(anObject))
    Marshal.ReleaseComObject(anObject);
    anObject = default(T);
