Outlook 2010 shows "Not connected" when users try to view other users calender

Hi all
I have enabled the possibility for all users to view all users calender information. This have worked fine but now some user get "Not Connected" when they are trying to see other users calendar. I have two database servers using DAG and one
database per server.
Does anyone have experienced the same? Or have a clue on what can cause this?

Hi Pittbull,
From your description, I recommend you follow the steps below for troubleshooting:
1. Please check if these problematic users have permissions to the calendars they are reviewing. Maybe the calendars' owners have removed the review permission of others via Outlook.
2. If the issue persists for a few users, they can try to new a profile and check the result.

It sounds as if your account has been compromised. I would recommend logging into those accounts from your computer and their websites and changing your password.

My iPhoto pictures show an error when i try to view them

my pics in iphots show a grey and black triangel with exclamation when i try to view them. its not all photos either

Apply the two fixes below in order as needed to repair the library:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
iPhoto 8 (09) and earlier- run the options indicated
iPhoto 9 (11) and later- run Option #4 to rebuild the database
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager (iPhoto 8 or earlier or IPhoto 11 and later) and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the
File ➙ Rebuild Library (iPhoto 8 or earlier)
or
Library ➙ Rebuild Library (iPhoto 9 or later)
menu option to rebuild the library.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Outlook 2010 Will Not Connect to Exchange 2007 on SBS 2008 Server

Good Morning,
I have a user who cannot connect to the exchange server on SBS 2008 with outlook 2010. When they start outlook, it shows disconnected and will not connect for a minimum of 20 minutes to an hour. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated.
I have rebuilt their profile, but that does not fix the issue.

Thanks for posting in the forum.
Regarding the current issue, since you have recreated the user profile without any issue, I suspect that it’s mainly caused by the network issue. At this time, please first check the TCP/IP
configurations as Larry mentioned. Then, please also refer to the article below for details about how to troubleshoot Outlook connectivity issue.

Default account setting in Outlook 2010 does not work when composing new messages?

I am currently using Outlook 2010 (not beta). I have two accounts, a google imap account and a pop3 account. I have designated my IMAP account as my default account. As I understand it, this means that when I create a new email,
it should default to being sent from my IMAP account. However, whenever I create a new email, it defaults to the account which I am currently viewing in Outlook. In other words, if I am currently viewing the pop3 inbox, when I compose an email,
it will default send from that account. Conversely, when I compose an email while viewing the IMAP inbox, it will default send from that account.
Any ideas as to what is going on? This is rather frustrating because I only rarely send with my pop3 account--only when replying/forwarding email received with that account or other unique situations. Is there a way to make Outlook be true to
sending from the default account, without doing something drastic like disabling the secondary account?

The behaviour itself may be considered a feature by Microsoft, though I disagree, but the fact that one thinks one is specifying a "default" account that is not then used as the default in all cases is clearly a bug.
It is astonishing to me that in the plethora of options, advanced options and advanced advanced options there is not a checkbox to enable this new behaviour with the default being unchecked.

You give very few details. If I stated that .......
"I started my Nissan today and it started fine - but my Chevrolet will not start today - but it started yesterday. Help!" - you would probably have no idea where to begin with doling out advice or troubleshooting steps. What troubleshooting did you do? Obviously not all of it - if you did not uninstall and reinstall iTunes.
Quit iTunes, reboot your PC and then try again.
If that does not work, you could post back with the OS that your actually running on your computer - I am assuming that you are a Windows user and I could be wrong, but without some help from you .... Well we are just beating our heads against the wall.

Are you trying to restore an iPad2 wifi + 3G?
I'm sure somebody will correct me (Genius, insert proper reason here), but I believe if you are trying to set an iPad 2 3G unit back to a previous iOS (if you mistakenly upgraded to 4.3.4 or 4.3.5) and are trying to go back to 4.3.3?
There is something inherent with the 3G units that won’t let you.

My mozilla shows not working when i try to change my ip with true socks. why?

It was working perfectly... until it start showing a plugins error. I had to disable a recently added plugin before it could work. But now immediate i try to open my browser after the changes of the true socks soft ware.. it immediately show that firefox has stopped working. But it works without any changes. I have uninstalled and downloaded different versions of mozilla but it wont work.

System Preferences > Network > Ethernet? If that shows "not connected" that is all your Mac knows. As far as it is concerned there is no cable connected to the port on your Mac, or the other end of the cable is either disconnected or connected to something that is broken.
Try another cable. If the cable is broken you will also get that status message. If you have exhausted all of these possibilities, the only remaining cause is an inoperative port on your Mac.

The minimum requirement for iCloud is Lion 10.7.2 - earlier systems don't show the iCloud preference pane. If you want to use iCloud you will have to upgrade to Lion or Mountain Lion (assuming your computer meets their requirements) but even so you won't be able to publish web pages to iCloud because it does not provide web hosting. Installing iTunes does not cause content to magically appear on the computer.
Your media is only where you put it.
iOS devices are not backup devices.
Copy the media from the old computer to the new computer.
