Outlook 2010 subscribed internet calendar recurring event problem -- missing recurring events

Hi --
In Office Outlook 2010, I'm subscribed to my wife's google calendar via subscribed internet calendars.  A few weeks ago, I noticed that recurring events weren't appearing.  I deleted the subscription, and resubscribed, with no luck.  (All
her other appointments and events were there, but not the recurring ones - including new scheduled events she had just added.)
At the same time, I did the same thing in Office Outlook 2013, (on another computer), and all the recurring events were there.
So the problem isn't with the feed, but somewhere in MS Office Outlook 2010.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Thanks.

Hi,
Please make sure the latest patches and service packs are installed for your Outlook 2010. Since the issue doesn’t happen in Outlook 2013 on another computer, the Internet Calendar URL should be OK for opening.
Please refer to the following article to create a new Outlook profile and restart Outlook in Safe mode to have a try:
https://support.office.com/en-za/article/I-can-t-start-Microsoft-Outlook-2010-or-2013-or-receive-the-error-%E2%80%9CCannot-start-Microsoft-Office-Outlook-Cannot-open-the-Outlook-Window%E2%80%9D-d1f69da6-b333-4650-97bf-4d77bd7abb85
If the issue doesn’t happen in safe mode, the issue may be caused by any third-party add-ins, please disable then enable the add-ins in Outlook One by One to confirm the issue cause.

  • How to synchronize Outlook 2010 with SAP Calendar

    Hello colleagues,
How to synchronize Outlook 2010 with SAP Calendar??
    Thanks

Install MfE (Mail for Exchange), then follow this: http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=147951
You can sync your mail, contacts and calendar with Google Sync. Tasks and notes are not supported. (Notes syncing is not possible with MfE anyway.)

  • I purchased a new Windows 8 PC. I have used and continue to use Outlook 2010 for my calendar. With my old Windows 7 PC and Outlook 2010, my calendar sinked properly with my Iphone 5. Now with the new Windows 8 PC, it does not. Help!

I purchased a new Windows 8 PC and I use Outlook 2010 for my calendar. With my old Windows 7 PC and Outlook 2010, my calendar would sync with my Iphone 5, but with the new Windows 8 PC and Outlook 2010, it does not, and I can't figure out how to snyc them. The emails from Outlook 2010 sync, but the calendar does not. Help! Thanks.

Easy solution for restoring lost calendar informaiton, thank goodness.  On your iPhone, go to settings, then to iCloud.  If your Calendar selection is turned off,  turn it on.  Your info should restore.  If your Calendar selection is turned on, then turn it off.  Choose to save calendars when asked.  After it shuts the Calendar off, turn it back on.  Your info should be restored.
Thank you to Apple support for walking me through this.  Shame on you Apple for not just telling people about this easy fix rather than making us go through all of this pain and worry.

  • TS3999 I installed ic;oud on my iphone 4s and my pc laptop ruunning windows 7 and Outlook 2010, my new calendar information is not syncling?  Thoughts?

I installed iCloud on my iPhone 4S and PC running Windows 7 and Outlook 2010.  My calendar is not syncing when I put in new information.  Solutions?

I would say that you would want to look into the "Exchange Mode" for GMail.  That would allow your iPhone to sync calendars, contacts and email with GMail just fine.  Doing the same with your outlook should also then sync those same with your PC using Outlook.  I've done teh iPhone side of this, but I since I don't run Lookout for my email client, I'm not sure how that will work on the PC side.

I just upgraded to iOS7 and started using icloud with Outlook 2010. I dealt with switching over to only using icloud for my calendar, but now my calendar reminders are only randomly popping up which is very frustrating. They show up on my phone however. And under my calendar on my main page it doesn't show any appointments coming up. Any suggestions on a fix?

    Hey Csound1,
Looks like we found a solution, it's Mickey Mouse but it works.  After talking to two Apple Senior Advisors, this is the fix they came up with:
The first advisor after exploring it for awhile, came to the conclusion the way to get my calendars back local On my Mac with the alerts as I had then was to import the saved .ics files with my my 'dangerous email alerts' being removed then me manually re-adding them.   I said that was a no go.
The second advisor, after speaking with me for awhile and trying a few things that we'd tried before said he'd do some work on his end and call me back.  A couple of hours later he phoned back with a fix that I guess will have to do, his solution:
I had to go into Calendar-preferencs-accounts and create a Gmail calendar, quit and restart Calendar, I created a calendar in the gMail account.  Then I was given the option  in Calendar under File-New Calendar to create On my Mac local calendars.  Next was to create local calendars with the same names as my iCloud calendars.  Now I had to un-check all calendars but one, put Calendar in month view, command-click all the events for the given calendar and drag them to the new local calendar of the same name.  I then had to repeat this for each of the calendars and for all 12 months of the year.
I'm not done yet but it seems to be working.  As I said Mickey Mouse but doing the job.  It seems creating another online calendar account was the only way to get the local On my Mac option, active again.  What a pain in the a** this has been, I will repeat it again
    iCloud is EVIL.

  • Syncing Outlook 2010 contacts and calendar

I've read the many entries on this topic, but can't find exactly what I need.  I have Outlook 2010 with Windows 7 on my computer.
I've found the sections about contacts and calendars in iTunes.  It will only let me enter "Windows Contacts" -- a choice of theirs.  For calendars, it says no supported calendars are located.  I can't enter anything in the box to tell it to find Outlook.
    What do I do?

Same problem here. I finally went at it app by app. If you turn contacts off, then you can get the calendar to synch. If you turn on calendar and contacts, then they BOTH lock up and won't synch.
The problem seems to be in the contacts app. Synch your contacts with iTunes once, and then turn off contacts in icluod. This should work.

  • Outlook 2010/Error sharing Calendar: Error while preparing to send sharing message

Everyone that is connected to this exchange is receiving an error when they attempt to share a calendar in outlook 2010.  We are using Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2010.  The error reads:  Error while preparing to send sharing message.
Any ideas on a reason why this would be happening?

I think it may  be caused by the following reasons.
    1. Auto Discover service or outlook 2010 issue
To verify it ,you could try  sharing calendar via  OWA?
For how to manage Auto discover Service
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-au/library/aa995956.aspx
    2.Mailbox corruption issue

    3. Restrictive sharing permission assigned on the calendar.
Could you please verify if it is caused by your  sharing policies? If the User chooses to change the permission
to the following: "Anyone can view and  search for this Calendar on Office online.” You should be able to send
    them without issues.

  • How can I view someone's specific work schedule within outlook 2010 if their calendar is shared?

I would like to be able to do the following
    1) access different user's calendars
    2) see their specific work schedule
    3) possibly add appointments
    4) Also some users have different schedules on different days. How can this be entered?
    Thank you.
    Aline Vida

You need the appropriate permissions, but assuming you do have permission, go to Calendar module. Right click on Other Calendars group name (or any group name) and choose Add Calendar, find the person's name and open their calendar. This will open it in
your outlook and add it to your calendar navigation bar.

  • Lost Outlook 2010 I Cloud calendar.

All entries on my Outlook 2010 ICloud calendar have disappeared.  They are still on my IPhone and IPad but not on PC.
I have tried to re-sync with IPHone through ITunes but that has not worked.

Only iCloud calendars can be synced with iCloud.

  • Outlook 2010/13 Laptop Calendar access extremely slow after opening shared calendar

I have a problem with several laptops running Win 7 Ultimate on a network running SBS 2008 (Exch 2007) when they are on the internal network. Outlook response is fine until they tick any shared calendar (either shared by the user or with full access
to the mailbox granted at the server level)- the response of the calendar screen for the
local users calendar  or the shared calendar
when using the advance or retreat arrows on the weeks drops down to roughly 20 seconds to advance to the next week, if the shared calendar is then unticked the speed stays slow for accessing the local calendar. if the user exits outlook and restarts
it the speed for accessing their own calendar returns to normal until they open another shared calendar.
this is a problem that has started within the last couple of months. SP are up to date on the windows and office.
I have tried ticking the download shared folders on and off, and also switching to using HTTP instead of TCPIP through the outlook anywhere. they run in cached mode as they are laptops- uncached is not an option
    network access is fine
The problem affects some users on the network but not others. the problem shows on office 2010 and 2013. they don't appear to have the problem when they are out of the office.
    Any thoughts anyone?

If you run your profile in Exchange cache mode and enable "Download share folders", please try to run SCANPST file to fix the OST/PST file and check the result.

By the way, does it for all shared calendr when you go to access them?

  • Outlook 2010 Contacts and Calendar not syncing

I've looked thru the boards and can't find anything that helps me. My iphone syncs with iCloud but it doesn't sync with my PC.
I'm running Office 2010 and the icloud add-in are there. I've checked the Calendar and Contacts in the iCloud configuration screen and they show Outlook.
Any help would be appreciated. And does the iCloud acccount id [email protected] have to be know to Outlook and if so how is that done?
    Thanks

  • Outlook 2010/Exchange 2007 Calendar Will Not Display

    Hi Folks,
I've been working on an issue for the past 3 weeks and would love some assistance.
    Here's the problem:
A user indicated that she was using Outlook normally, flipping between the Mail and Calendar tab. When she went back to the Calendar tab, the navigation pane switched to the Calendar tab, but the main pane and ribbon were still showing Mail content.
The only way for her to display her Calendar properly is to right-click on Calendar and select "Open in New Window" - but even then if she goes to the Mail tab, she cannot go back to her Calendar again.
Please note we are running on Exchange version 8.3.327.1
Here are the fixes I've attempted:
    New OST file
    New Mail profile
    Ran outlook.exe with the following switches:  /safe /cleanrules /cleanview /resetfolders /resetnavpane
Please note: resetnavpane breaks the OST file and requires me to create a new OST file for the user
Open Mailbox on a different computer - that same issue occurs
Open Mailbox in webmail - the calendar is displayed properly
    Odds n Ends: Hitting CTRL + 6, Hitting F5.
I've run out of ideas and would appreciate any ideas to resolve this problem
    Thanks!
    Derek

    Hi Derek,
It should not be an Exchange issue. Based on my research, there is no feature in Exchange server can configure the Outlook reading pane or navigation pane performance. Since there is only one user encounter this issue and OWA can work well, please check
the following points to narrow down the issue:
    1. Please configure your Outlook account in your colleague’s domain-joined computer with your colleague’s domain account to check whether the issue is caused by your Roaming Profile.
    2. Configure Outlook account outside the domain by using Outlook Anywhere to check whether the issue is caused by any policy in your domain.
    Thanks,

  • My iPhone 4 with iOS 7.0.4 not synchronizing with Outlook 2010 contacts and calendar after upgrading to iTunes 11.1.4.62

For a couple of years past, my iphone 4 has been working with itunes and syncing with Outlook using USB for contacts and schedule. It currently uses ios 7.0.4. Recently, I think after updating itunes to 11.1.4.62, the sync is not working properly. The itunes backs uo the iphone, starts the sync of contacts which just goes on and on for hours. Asking itunes to sync only calendar also produces no results. I am very concerned as I have a very large >2000 contact list.
I tried a soft reset of the iphone; resetting sync history in itunes; going back to an earlier version of itunes. switching off icloud in the iphone settings; trying to sync through WiFi. Nothing seems to help. The same difficulty persists.
Can anyone please give me a workable solution, before my contact lists in Outlook and iphone diverge disastrously?

Hi - i tried the things in the link in your post and still can't see the iPhone4 in iTunes.
I did see the iPhone4 in iTunes PRIOR to upgrading to iTunes 11.1.4.
My Windows 8.1 laptop recognizes the iPhone4 as a device and the iPhone4 recognizes the laptop because it asks whether to 'trust this pc' or not. I click the 'trust pc'. I stopeed the Apple Mobile Services program and restarted it ... and the iPhone4 still does not show up in iTunes.
What's next? uninstall iTunes & all Apple programs and re-install them?
    Cheers ... John

  • Outlook 2010 contacts and calendar stopped syncing

My outlook calendar and contact syncing was working perfectly and about 3 months ago it all came to a stop.
Should I delete ICloud from my Windows 8 and Wndows 7 PCs (neither is working) and reinstall or is there a better fix?

Go through the troubleshooting steps listed under "Troubleshooting on Microsoft Windows (Microsoft Outlook)" in this article: iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Calendar.  In particular, make sure the iCloud Outlook add-in is activate within Outlook.

  • Calendar no longer sends data to iphone since I got a new PC with Outlook 2010

My iphone 4 used to happily sync with my old PC (Windows XP) but I've got a new PC with Outlook 2010 and the calendar no longer sends data from the PC to the iphone.
I've used the Help questions here and created a new event on my phone which has now created a new calendar on the PC, so I have 2 calendars now, one with all events in and one only with events which are also on my phone.
No new events added to my calendar are ending up on my phone.
    How do I:
a: get rid of the new calendar which has opened (it is called "Outlook Data File", the existing one, which I want to keep, is called "Personal Folders)
b: get the calendar to send info to my phone and back?
