Outlook 2011 calendar data gone!

I have os x 10.6.8 and outlook 2011 14.3.9.  I was adding an appt to my calendar and all the data in the entire calendar disappeared.  This is a disaster. Can you pls tell me how to retrieve it?
Thanks so much.

Apparently it isn't gone just disappeared as I got a alarm today for a scheduled mtg.  I must have changed to a new calendar that has no data.  How do I get the one I have been using back?
Thanks for your help.

  • After switching to iCloud, Outlook 2011 calendar no longer syncs with iCal.

Before iCloud, my Outlook 2011 calendar (Exchange) was syncing locally with iCal, which worked just fine. Once I moved to iCloud, my local calendar was removed by iCloud, and I can no longer sync my Outlook 2011 calendar (Exchange) to my local iCal (I don't want it to sync with iCloud, if that's still possible). How do I get this capability back?

That's not the point.    Before iCloud, Outlook synched with Apple Calendar and/or iCal.    With iCloud, Cal syncs with iPhone and other devices.     Outlook doesn't have to sync with iCloud (although that would certainly be nice).   It just has to continue to sync with Cal, which in turn syncs with devices via iCloud.
But for some inane reason, it doesn't.    If this is Apple's way of forcing people to not use Office and only use Calendar and Apple Mail, they are going to stop the gains they've made in business environments.   Businesses, especially large businesses, use Outlook.   End of story.
Furthermore, Apple's instructions for setting up or deleting iCal and iCloud accounts is complete gibberish.  And I'm a tech who has been working with computers for 32 years.   Apple used to be great at making things easy.  They now suck at it and are just as bad as Microsoft.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

  • Outlook 2011 calendar sync with my i-phone

I cannot synchronise my outlook 2011 calendar for mac with my I-Phone...Before work good with I-cal or entourage but now doesn't work anymore ?

He's not using Entourage 2004 or 2008. He's using Outlook 2011, which, at this time only syncs contacts to Apple Mail/iTunes.

  • Schedule for Outlook 2011 calendar sync?

    Hi
Has anyone seen a schedule for Outlook 2011 to sync calendars with iPhone?
If you were thinking of getting the version of Office for MAC that has Outlook 2011 you might want to hold off for while.
It seems Microsoft left it that bit out...
thanks for any scuttlebut on this...

I'm having the same issues. Can't sync iphone with Outlook 2011 calendars nor can I sync with google calendar. I switched from ical and apple mail because Outlook offers a better user experience. But not being able to synch with mobile me or iphone is crippling. When will they fix this?

  • HT201342 I cant sync my Mac Outlook 2011 Calendar with my iPhone 5. Please help!

I have a MacProBook running OS X, I use MS Office and since I "accepted" .me email with iCloud my Outlook 2011 calendars won't sync using iTunes into my iPhone 5.
I have also lost a whole year of Outlook Calendars, and I desperately need them! I've tried the MS Identities etc. to no avail.
Can someone be so kind and help me please?
Is there a new version of iCloud for Mac?
    Thanks so much!

Contacts (the app) supports Dav, it has to because iCloud Contacts are Dav. Just add your CardDav account to your Mac in System Preferences>Internet Accounts and select Contacts.
    FYI
iCloud Calendars are CalDav, iCloud Contacts are CardDav, and the mail is Imap.

  • Trouble syncing MS Outlook 2011 calendar with iPod touch

I use MS Outlook 2011 on my iMac for email, contacts and calendar. The Outlook calendar is syncing fine with iCal, which I know it has to do first since the iPod & iCloud will not sync directly with Outlook (go figure, MS & Apple still haven't figured that **** out!) It seems like every since I updated to the latest version of iTunes and iOS 6.0.1 on my iPod touch, the calendar is no longer syncing properly? I've checked all the settings in iTunes and on my iPod itself and there doesn't seem to be any reason why its not syncing? Do I need to update the iOS to 6.0.2? Or is there some other little hidden setting I've missed?

    @ Sambal:
My OSX is 10.7.5 Lion. I just gave up and decided to go back to Mac mail, iCal and contacts. I'm guessing the issue has something to do with the way iCal handles sync data from Outlook? Or perhaps the other way around? I did 2-seperate tests where I created a calendar event in Outlook and iCal. On the Outlook test, it synced to iCal, but wouldn't get pushed to my iPod touch calendar? (running iOS 6.0.1)
On the iCal test, it pushed the new event to my iPod within seconds! Also, when I created a calendar event directly on my iPod, that too would sync back to iCal within seconds as well. But not back to the Outlook calendar. It still amazes me that even today MS and Apple still have issues like this? I don't mind using Mac's programs, I just don't like how they have them all as 3-seperate running programs.
I prefer Outlook's all-in-one interface. I think Apple's software engineers need to do a complete makeover!

  • How can I get iCloud to sync with Outlook 2011 calendars??

Recently got a new MBA11 and use an iPhone and rely heavily on Outlook. All I want to do is be able to sync my calendars and contacts across devices. When I used to be on Windows I could simply do this with Google Calendars and Google sync.
Outlook 2011 isn't or doesn't support syncing with google (not sure who's fault this is).
I thought iCloud would fix this however iCloud creates new calendars in iCal that won't sync with Outlook.
Does anyone know a work around?
Personally I would have thought this kind of thing would be simple, easy and a necessary function whether it be on google, apple or microsofts part!!

Microsoft have not made Outlook for Mac compatible with iCloud since they haven't bothered to include support for the industry standard CalDAV and CardDAV protocols iCloud uses.
    See: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2648915
Apple cannot do anything to rectify this, as they don't make Microsoft Office. It is in Microsoft's hands.
It wasn't necessary to buy Office for Mac to sync with iCloud. All Macs come with all the applications required for syncing with iCloud for free.
Use Apple's Mail, Address Book and iCal.

  • How to transfer outlook 2011 calendar to iCloud calendar?

I am using Outlook 2011 for Mac and can't seem to move the calendar items to the iCloud calendar.  In addition, my iCal calendar doesn't even resemble either the iCloud calendar (virtually empty) or the Outlook calendar.  How do I sync them all together?  Also, I have over 3,000 duplicate calendar entries for some events and need to erase the duplicates.

Outlook itself won't work with iCloud, but if you are using Address Book, you simply need to move your contacts from the 'On My Mac' account to the iCloud account.
This user tip might help you understand how accounts work with Address Book.

  • Synching Mac Outlook 2011 Calendar and Contacts

I recently 1) moved from a PC to a Mac Book, 2) installed Outlook 2011 (as part of Office for Mac) and 3) imported my PC .pst file into Outlook to get my calendar, contacts and emails.  While this worked, I have a huge problem in that I can not find a way to synch my Outlook for Mac Calendar and Contacts with my Macbook, iphone or ipad.  Is there anyone else that has this problem or a solution???

I have the same issue.  I have rebuilt the identity identity in Outlook 2011 and at least got a ONE TIME sync between Outlook and iCal but Itunes and Outlook 2011 for Mac will not sync.

  • Why won't my appointments show up on my outlook 2011 calendar when I save them?

I had my calendar and email all set up under my work account on my Air.  Having recently been layed off I deleted my work account from my Outlook 2011 set up.  I then set up my Outlook to receive emails from my Comcast account instead.  This did take a little wrangling with servers, ports, SLL thingamajiggy account info, but now seems to be working fine.  Except it also wiped my contacts and calendar, which is frightening but not terrifying since the contacts still seem to be on my iphone and I can pretty much rebuild the calendar.
So, to my question - - I went to enter an appoitment in the calendar, clicked save and then X'd out of the window but there is no appointment on my calendar.  Tried many times, but still nothing.   Anyone have any ideas?

Exactly. I want to transfer apps from my MacBook Pro to my
iPhone. But only the home screens show up for the phone
On the right. No app icons on the left. Please reply and let me know
    How to fix this.

  • Can't sync Outlook 2011 calendar and contacts to IPhone

I have a user that just recieved a new Mac book air. She is using Outlook 2011 when she tries to sync her calendar and contact to her IPhone though iTunes. The sync gets stuck at syncing the calendar? I ran and installed all the latest updates for outlook and it looks like ical and outlook are talking to each other. But it never gets to her phone.

I have the same issue.  I have rebuilt the identity identity in Outlook 2011 and at least got a ONE TIME sync between Outlook and iCal but Itunes and Outlook 2011 for Mac will not sync.

  • How can I again see my outlook 2011 calendar on my MAC?

We use Exchange 2007 in our office. My mail, notes, and tasks all work fine in my Outlook 2011 for MAC. The calendar is blank. I have removed and added the account twice. It's been this way for more than a week. My calendar is fine when I go through  outlook web access. It is also working on my iphone. Others in the office using the same Lion version have no problems. I added my account to another MAC with 10.6.2 and everything, including calendar, works fine.

Since this question is about a Microsoft product, you might have more luck getting suggestions if you ask in Microsoft's own forums.
    Good luck.

  • After update calendar dates gone from previous months

After updating to 5.1.1. on my IPAD, My dates in my calendar are gone.  How can I get my information back?

    Norman,
Did you by any chance figure this out? I am having the same issue right now, with the phone being recognized...but not synching music (or anything else) to the phone. I no longer use my 3g as a phone, but only as an iPod.
Any insight you have will be appreciated.
    Thanks!

  • Recurring meeting in Outlook 2011 calendar but NOT on Exchange server (OWA) or iPhone

Macbook Pro w/Outlook 2011.  User has one (of many) recurring meetings he accepted (a weekly meeting) and it shows fine in his Outlook calendar
    (setup for Exchange).
This one recurring meeting does NOT show up on the users' iPhone or in OWA (meaning it is not on the Exchange server).
How can I get this one recurring meeting to sync (or at least get moved) to his calendar on the Exchange server so it can sync to his iPhone?
Asking the person who originated the meeting to re-invite is not an option.
    Thank you.

Are there any sync issues logged on the client?  You may want to turn on logging (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj984217(v=office.14).aspx) and see of there
are any communication issues.  If you believe this to be a corruption in the Outlook 2011 DB, you may have to rebuild it (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2360509/en-us).
Anyways, I would have them look for the original meeting request in their mailbox via OWA.  It might have been accepted and moved to deleted items, but the original meeting request should be there unless it was too long ago. If it is found, accept it
in OWA (no reply).  Then look for sync-issues to the Mac client.
If you cannot do the above, check out
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2547327/en-us and see if that process changes your behavior.
    Hopefully that helps!
