Outlook 2011 Public Folders button is greyed out

One of my clients has an Exchange 2010 server with a number of public folders on it.  All of the users who are using Windows versions of Outlook (either Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013) are able to access the public folders without any issues.  However,
the one user who uses a Apple Mac with Outlook 2011 is not able to access the public folders.  When she clicks on the Tool menu in Outlook, the Public Folder button is greyed out.  The Out of Office button is also greyed out.  Any help or ideas
on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Scott

Hi Scott,
Based on my experience, if the user account isn't an Exchange account, Public Folders will be disabled.
If the account is an Exchange account, please re-build EWS Virtual Directory for testing.
Thanks
Mavis
