Outlook 2013 Bug - Categories Column Does Not Display Color In Certain Positions

My System: Outlook 2013-64 on Windows 7-64
When looking at my email list (preview pane off), the categories column displays its color and text. But when the Categories column is moved to the left of the "from" column, it ceases to display its color and displays only its text, even when
the column is wide enough to display everything for a category.
Can someone tell me how to fix this?
This did not happen in Outlook 2010 and 2007.

I just confirmed this issue exists on Outlook 2013, when categories
column is dragged to the left to From, the categories don't display the colors but label texts instead.
While I didn't find this issue on Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2007.
Thank you for being so careful and pointing out this problem, whenver you have any feedback about this product, you can always press Ctrl + Alt + 7(Send a Smile) or Ctrl + Alt + 8(Send a Frown) to submit it. Currently I cannot promise the
deadline when it will be fixed, but Microsoft will definitely hear users' voice and make its products better and easy to use.

Hello, I work with Visual Studio 2013, and was anxious for version 13.0.9.1312, glad you came. Well I installed the full version and the report usually opened in VS, but when it does not compile command displays. Published in a local and it worked, but the VS does not work, if you click with the right mouse button to display codes are the codes it, but does not show. I used IE, and nothing Chomo. How does VS2013 use IIS Express as a server. Have any solution for this?

Cfgrid checkbox column does not display bgcolor

I am running CF9 in Firefox and have a page with an editable grid. I have different background colors for certain groups of columns.
When I define a column as follows:
<cfgridcolumn name="HidePrice" display="true" header="Hide Price" width="40" select="yes" bgColor="##E7F3F1" type="boolean" />
it shows as a checkbox but the background color does not show. This same bg color does show in adjacent columns. That's my first problem.
In addition, I have applied some styles to the extJS cells using stuff like this:
.x-grid3-col-8 {height:42px;}
.x-grid3-col-9 {text-align:right;height:42px;}
.x-grid3-col-10 {text-align:center;height:42px;}
.x-grid3-col-11 {text-align:right;height:42px;}
This worked fine before I added the checkbox, but the checkbox field (in this case it's field .x-grid3-col-10) throws off the column count and the subsequent styles affect the wrong columns. As if the checkbox was not a full-fledged grid column.
Anybody have an inkling what's happening?

Is this a bug? Stroke does not display for rectangles?

Working in a room full of new iMacs with CS6, I used the rectangle tool to draw shapes on screen and the shapes would not completely display. It was almsost like other shapes were covering parts of the shapes so for example only 2 of 4 lines on a rectangle would show, sometimes only 3 lines would show, etc. I tried changing the stroke from size 1 to 2 and sometimes that helped, sometimes closing the file and opening a new one helped, and other times nothing helped, even making the stroke a size 4 or 5. This problem occurred on multiple iMacs.
Is there a setting or preference that may be causing this? Is this a known problem?

Yeah, it's not a bug, but I do consider it a major weakness in Fireworks screen rendering behavior. Unlike AI, Fireworks is constantly in "Pixel Preview" mode, and it's locked into Nearest Neighbor zoom rendering—possibly the crudest of rendering algorithms. This might have been fine in the early days of web design, or even several years ago, but if you're using the app to design graphics for a high-resolution device (e.g. a retina display) on a standard resolution monitor, and you'd like to view the graphic at near the actual size (e.g. 60%), the results look awful.
I think this could be fixed by offering an additional View option (e.g. Improved Rendering) that would use a different rendering algorithm, such as Bicubic or even a mixture of Bicubic Smoother/Bicubic Sharper.
I created a post about this issue quite a few months back; however, I may not have submitted a feature request, because I was still using Fireworks 8 at the time and wasn't sure if CS5 had addressed the problem:

There is at least one workaround: If you define an object as a Symbol and then resize the instance on the canvas, it will be rendered using the algorithm specified in FW's Preferences (under General > Interpolation). I think this works anyway; it's been a while since I tried it.

Manage Table / Modify column does not display current values

Hi,
when I choose "Modify column" from the menu "Manage table", the current properties of the column, i.e. type, size and so on, are not shown, but are defaulted to whatever value has been defined inside that page, so the column type is always set to "Number" for instance.
It would be definitely better to retain the current values, in my humble opinion.

I have also run into this problem. I am running IQ 16.0 sp1. I wanted to increase the number of characters in one of the columns so I have to create a new column, copy the data, delete the old column then rename the new column.
Is there any reason the MODIFY function is not implemented in IQ?

OUTLOOK Does Not Display Attachement Paper Clip in Inbox

I have Outlook Home/Office/Bus 2013 and the paperclip does not display in the inbox SOME of the time. It's so unhelpful.
But sure enough, if I open, there are the attachments. This never happened before I had 2013. Help. (5-2-15)

What type of email account do you use?
What file type are the attachments? Embedded images usually don't have the attachment icon.

Installed 7525HP photosmart printer earlier today. Since installation, Outlook does not display linked images when I open emails. p6620f HP desktop computer.

You're probably not going to like the answer: Welcome to HTML-based email, and web (browser- or mail-based) rendering incompatibilities and quirks.
Newer Microsoft Internet Explorer is (much) better than older releases, so see if a newer Windows client or a newer version of Outlook does better.
If you really want to see what's going on here, view the raw HTML that's getting generated, and see what Microsoft wants or uses or expects within Outlook, and send that.

ADF swing: JTabbedPane does not display column names.

I have created an ADF Panel, which allows the user to run a few simple queries against an Oracle database done using ADF view objects and ADF view links and ADF application module.
From the data control area I drag and drop a view link containing a query into a JTabbedPane. But when I run the ADF panel, JTabbedPane does not display the column headers from the SQL as opposed to JScrollPane which does.
Suppose you do a select * from departments(dep_id, manager, state_cd), you will see all column headers meaning dep_id, manager, state_cd, and under each column the corresponding data which was retuned by the SQL if you use JScrollPane. But if you use you use JTabbedPane then you would only see the data which was retuned by the SQL without seeing the column header names meaning dep_id, manager, state_cd.
What do I need to do to make JTabbedPane display columns headers?

JScrollPane should be used. You can add this into a JTabbedPane if you like. Not all Swing panel show table headers

Firefox sometimes does not display my tabs along the menu bar when two or less are open - is this a bug?

When I have less than three tabs open after having more open, Firefox does not display the tabs along the menu bar. This means I can't see tabs when I have two open. Is this a glitch?
Note: I am aware that I can set Firefox to always show the tabs, but I do not like this setting for when I only have one tab opened.

DataGrid does not display XML data

I am having a problem displaying XMLList data in a DataGrid.
The data is coming from a Tree control, which is receiving it
from a database using HTTPService.
The data is a list of "Job Orders" from a MySQL database,
being formatted as XML by a PHP page.
If it would be helpful to see the actual XML, a sample is

All is going well until I get to the DataGrid, which doesn't
display the data, although I know it is there as I can see it in
debug mode. I've checked the dataField property of the appropriate
DataGrid column, and it appears correct.
Following is a summary of the relevant code.
...An HTTPService named "get_all_job_orders" retrieves
records from a MySQL database via PHP...
...Results are formatted as E4X:

...An XMLListCollection's source property is set to the
returned E4X XML results:
...The "order" node is what is being used as the top-level of
the XML data.

I came up with a method of populating the DataGrid from the
selected Item of a Tree Control which displays complex XML data and
XML attributes. After the user clicks on a Tree branch, I call this
function:

So, I just had to manually go through the selected Tree node,
copy each XML attribute into a simple Array, then ADD this Array to
an ArrayCollection being used as the DataProvider for the DataGrid.
It's not elegant, but it works and I don't have to use a Label
Function, which was getting way too complicated. I still think that
Flex should have an easier way of doing this. There probably is an
easier way, but the Flex documentation doesn't provide an easy path
to it.
I want to thank you, Tracy, for the all the help. I checked
out the examples you have at www.cflex.net and they are very
helpful. I bookmarked the site and will be using it as a resource
from now on.

As you know this error has been discussed in other threads.. the difference in mine is that not only the time series measures but all the columns are giving me the error...none of the columns are being displayed... The rpd has no consistency errors. can anyone suggest what may be going on?

I guess you have the column in RPD, and it is available for queries.
are you using any time measures? if so check you chronological keys.

My subscribed calendar does not display in today view in iOS7. Does anyone know how to make it show up?

I have a subscribed calendar on my iPhone. The today view in notification center shows that I have an event at xxxx and tomorrow view says I have x events but the calendar day view does not display any of the events. I need this so I can easily see which rooms my events are in. Dows anyone know how to make the subscribed calendar show up in calendar day view?

Interesting. May have uncovered a bug. It seems that limited duration events will display, but all day events wont on mine. (iPhone 5). Does that compare to what you are seeing (unfortunately, I have nothing in a subscribed calendar until the week end, so difficult to check. I do seem to recall seeing an event from one this past week end on the iPad, however).

User-Defined Type does not display values in Table Data grid

I have a User defined Type that is a collection of one character VARCHAR2 values. In the Table Data grid it does not display the character values. I know on all our other Oracle development applications these values display. Is this a bug or is there a snippet to display these values?

Photo App does not display all photos

Running iOS 7.0.4 on an iPhone 4S. The new Photo App does not display all photos properly. All photos show up as thumbnails. However, when you tap on some of them, only a blank page is displayed. The rest is fine. This issue started after the upgrade to iOS 7. Is this a bug? Hardware-related?

Upon closer inspection it appears that the missing photos are in a folder called IPhoto Library. This folder is greyed out when I choose the import folder.
When I use 'show package contents' it reveals the missing photos (below). Why is my iphoto library so scrambled! Thanks for any insight.
