good morning and happy new year.
my outlook suddenly stopped sending emails. I can still receive emails. but no luck sending. I've added a new account to my outlook and that one sends/receives fine. I have the email on my phone it sends and receives fine. I've tried uninstalling than reinstalling
outlook. Nothing changed. tried the quick fix as well as the internet longer fix. same result nothing changed. this is my business email so I really need to get it figured out. Please Help

Without the detail information of your email accounts, it is difficult to move on. Could you please tell the type of you email account, Exchange, POP3, IMAP or Live account? If it is an Internet account, please detail the email provider, like Gmail, Yahoo
or else.

In most cases this scenario happens if the sending message is stuck in the Outbox somehow, what we could next do is to identify the cause why it would happen.
1. Is there any large message remain in the outbox folder?
2. Authentication problem or simply password expired.
3. The sending message is called by another application like mailscanner?

My iPad 2 has suddenly stopped sending emails. It puts them in the outbox but that's as far as they go. I've tried turning off ect but no joy. It puts them in the outbox but thats as far as they go.

The restrictions should have no bearing at all as to why mail is not being sent. It will prevent you from making changes to the emai account, so I don't know how you were able to try what I suggested if you can't get into your mail settings.
As for the 10 attempts ...... You get as many tries as you need with that passcode. But the catch is that if you cannot remember it and you need to get into the settings, you have to restore your iPad back to factory settings and start all over again. The only way that you can use a backup is if the backup does not contain that passcode. If you restore from a backup that has the passcode in or, you will jut end up in a never ending loop.
So after having said all of this I would have to assume that you tried my suggestion before you locked yourself out of the settings.

TS3899 suddenly stopped sending email

Tried resetting phone, removed and re-input email account information, turned phone off for provider to do a reset. Still nothing. Verizon is out of ideas to fix this issue. I was having this issue as well with my Yahoo mail and tried everything. The one thing that worked for me was double clicking the home button, closing the Mail app, then reopening it. Suddenly all my emails synced. Anyone else having this problem should try this. :)

IPad suddenly stopped sending emails.

My iPad was working well until about a week ago when it stopped sending emails. A message saying that an error occurred and the email could not be sent appears at the screen. Emails are still being received.

Two things to try:
1. Reboot your iPad: Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for at least 110 seconds (ignore the red slider to shut down) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart.
If after rebooting your iPad you still can not send mail:
Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar and delete the mail account
Then re-enter the mail account
Make sure you know your ID and passwords, servers, etc., so you can easily add the mailbox back.
I have had to do this, especially with Yahoo once or twice and after doing so, was able to send and receive again.

One of our users got a new computer and is running Outlook 2013. They can send emails with no trouble, except to one of our other users. It always

How does the user fill the "To" field in a new message? If she fill it via auto-complete cache, please try to delete the auto-complete cache entry via clicking the "X" icon and then type the email address in the "To" filed. Send the email and check
if this issue continues.

Thanks for your question.
This issue might occurs due to lots of reasons. Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook? If yes, please try to disable it, and then try again. You might opt to uninstall the virus scanner temporarily to make
sure it will not interfere the testing.
Also, lots of Office crash issues are caused by third-party add-ins. You might want to have a check and see if you have any integrated with your Outlook client which might cause the issue.
Since the issue occurs randomly ("Two are three times a week"), Office
Safe Mode will not be effective here, just manually disable all third-party add-ins in Outlook FILE>Options>Ass-Ins, use outlook for a period of time, then verify result.

It's hard to know what's going on, aside from some programmatic error in the file you're distributing. By far the simplest solution is to return to your original form, save it with another name, and then start the distribution process over again. It'll only take a couple of minutes, and will be far quicker and easier than trying to understand what's happened with your original file.

My Mac Outlook 2011 Stopped Sending Emails for all POP Accounts from Different Providers

I've had this problem before, but this time I am truly dumbfounded. My Outlook 2011 has randomly stopped sending emails, but I can still receive them. This has happened a few times and I normally change the ports/SSL and I can get it to work. But now I am at a loss. I have several email accounts that I manage. One of which is GMAIL, using IMAP, and this is the only account that currently works find receiving and sending. My POP accounts, four of them, all cannot send emails. They can only receive. One of them is with GoDaddy, and the other three are with an Asian company. I can't find any help on this. I've upgraded Office to the latest version. I've even deleted the accounts and added them back in, and I still can't send email. I'm frankly getting exhausted and sick of this type of problem happening. I honestly use this program and my MacBook Air to send clients information...only to find out hours later that a mail never sent because it's been stuck in my <hidden> Outbox in Outlook 2011. This has hurt me now badly on several occassions. Please HELP!

All SMTP servers are set correctly as far as I can tell, the connection doctor says everything is fine, and I removed all my accounts to re-add them. I added one and tried to send a message--stuck in the outbox--failed. I added another account and deleted the first one and tried to send a message--stuck in the outbox--failed. I'm pretty convinced the problem is with Mac's Mail client...I can send email from anywhere I've tried except for Mac's Mail client. Thanks for the help.

Airport Express stops sending emails suddenly

Hi. I'm using airport express 802.11g, and mac mail (OSX 10.7.4).
Last week it just stops sending emails from one of the server providers i use.
I'd already tried everything...reseting, creating new mail accounts, changing, repairing permissions, restarts and so on...
what I find out:
1. if I plug the ethernet cable, it works
2. when using mail over wifi/airport, the 'send' works for @hotmail, @gmail...but doesn't work for my other server emails
3. even thou, if I try to check emails using my server webmail, it works!
4, receiving emails works perfect
5. even when trying the wifi over my iphone, it doesn't send either.
resuming:
problem: send mail, over wifi, just with my 'dreamhost' server mails
weird!
but it's been days I've been trying to find out what is going on, and no clue!
I hope someone could help me!

have you checked for _*wireless interference*_ ?
download iStumbler (does not work on 10.6) or AirRadar (it has a trial period) and note the channels other networks in your vicinity are broadcasting on. change the channel(s) of your network as far away as possible from those.

How to make Outlook 2013 automatically download all emails?

I have four IMAP email accounts. Currently, my Outlook 2013 only shows new emails when I navigate to the folder they are in. For example, if I navigate to my work email inbox, it suddenly fills with new emails.
Previously, in Outlook 2010, this would be automatically downloaded and the inbox would be refreshed to show a new email. How can I make this happen in Outlook 2013?

FILE-> Options-> Advanced -> Send and receive, check "Send immediately when connected"
Also, you could set advanced option throught clicking "Send/Receive..."

HT1430 I have an iPad and iPhone. I have had both devices set on the same Outgoing Mail Servers but the iPad has stopped sending emails. I have tried everything without success. The iPhone is still working properly.

You delete your Mailaccount on your iPad and then add the same new...

I am also having this issue.
server 2012 VM with exchange 2013. plenty of resources, more than recommended so cannot be a BAck Pressure issue especially as no clients are connected yet.
In the early stages of setup and testing, mail sent to other mailboxes worked fine in outlook 2007 and OWA but after a few issue that developed and are now resolved, any e-mail send within outlook or OWA just goes straight into the drafts folder.
I tried, DNS setting changes under roles, on the server, on DNS server, MX DNS records, increased resources, looked at received connectors, changed and even deleted send connectors as this is not required for internal mail. Tried changing authentication
types but then outlook won't connect to, staying with Basic Auth.
Have not been able to test inbound e-mail as this is going to replace a production server and is not ready, although I could probably simulate a route from another server and push e-mail to it. Will try tomorrow.
I have spent about 20 hours trying to figure this out and made probably 40 changes. Change, test, rollback etc. Been searching through loads of forums and technet sites all with no help.
All services are started, server has been rebooted several times.
It is also an AD server and has both Exchange roles installed. There is no reason why it should not work. This is so frustrating, we don't have these issues with the now end of life Scalix, or MDaemon or Zimbra. Pity the client wanted a Microsoft solution.
To be honest there are not a lot of things that cannot be changed in ECP although there is more under exchange powershell however I am not familiar with all the commands yet. I have resorted to watching training videos even though I am a seasoned IT Pro, although
not so much with exchange it seems.
I have seen many people have this issue on Exchange 2007, 2010 and 2013. Someone must know how to resolve this or find a work around?
So far I have an expensive solution the client has purchased that I cannot get running properly.
Aside from this issue, I really like the new Server 2012 and new Hyper-V.
I was about to install Exchange Server 2013 on a physical machine due to this f#ckin' issue. But a post for the DNS change has saved my life:
