Outlook 2013 - wrap text group policy applied, not working with or without digital signature

Hello,
I'm adding group policies to apply on our new installations of Windows 8.1 with Office 2013. One of the settings being applied is enforcing plain text emails and wrapping text at a certain number of characters. Policies are being added using the Outlook
2013 admx.
When I check the options inside Outlook 2013 the group policy did apply successfully (File, Options, Mail, scroll down to Message Format) The option to "Automatically wrap text at character:" is set to 132 and not adjustable as it should be.
In the group policy I have it set to wrap at 132 characters, but when I go to a client machine and send a digitally signed email, it wraps at the default 76 characters. This makes for very annoying short blocky emails and multi-line hyperlinks.
If I do not digitally sign the email then the text doesn't wrap at all! (until it meets the end of the window). So under no circumstances is it wrapping at 132 where it's supposed to.

What is your account type in Outlook? Exchange or others?
Please also let me know the email format that you are sending, Plain Text, HTML or Rich Text Format.
You can try sending the same emails in Outlook Safe Mode:
Press Win + R and type “outlook.exe /safe” in the blank box, then press Enter.
If there’s no problem in Safe Mode, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which add-ins caused this issue.

This is true. If you use Fiddler to watch the requests from the list view quick edit you can see CSOM calls. For example when changing a value in a cell, when you tab out you will see the SetFieldValue and Update method calls on the list item.

Don't have proper privilege to change the date and time. Group Policy does not work

I have configure group policy to change date and time only administrator. The problem is Windows XP machine cannot view the calendar but windows 7 can. So i need to view the calender for windows XP machine.

I applied a VM Windows XP pro. When I logged in as a local admin, I can view the calendar from the right corner of desktop or from control
panel. However, when I logged in as a normal user account, I received the same message as yours.

Deployment of software through Group policy does not work

I am using windows server 2008 R2 and all my clients are running Windows 7 Enterprise and they are working over a domain, note that I am using VMware.

MS Project 2010 with Outlook 2013 - "send as attachment" missing function / not working

Office 2013 Professional running on Windows 7 (64bit).
After Re-installing MS Project 2010 today the option under
File (alt-f) --> 'Save & Send' --> 'Send as Attachment' is shaded out / unavailable.
Is this a known integration gap between the older MS Project and Current Outlook ? Alternatively, does anyone have any recommendations to troubleshoot and / or enable the function within MS Project 2010?

p.s I have tried completing a repair on Office 2013 and the MS Project 2010 from within the control panel.
This functionality is working with all other Office 2013 applications in the suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio etc.)

Kinda / sorta ... In Mid 2014 I had MS Project installed and working (I can't confirm if the Send as Attachment was working at that time...) A few days ago I was sent an '.mpp' (MS Project file) for review. When I attempted to open it MS Project
gave me a warning message that it needed to start in safe mode but then failed to start. This seemed weird and thus began two days of googling and investigation.
I elected to uninstall (which also failed) and reinstall (which also failed) the MS Project 2010 since I have the media at hand to do so. At this point I was really truly 'stuck' (p.c term for the younger audience reading this).
My course of action was to engage Microsoft Support (specifically the MS Office group). They verified some registry entries, confirmed installation of MS Project 2010 , confirmed files were installed , available and in the appropriate
spots (files etc.) , tried a few 'fixit' tools , made multiple suggestions that I spend $1000+ on upgrading to MS Project 2013. After ~90 minutes or so they were able to 'Force' the orphaned installation to uninstall. (although
they needed to install and use a 3rd party tool to do it) We then re-installed MS Project 2010 and verified it could start.
After using project a little bit I realized that 'Send as Attachment' option was non-functional. I spent a few hours trying to research (more google) and finally threw in the towel and cried out for help (i.e posted the message that started this
thread).

My mic is not working with my soundblaster digital music LX ex-soundc

Hope its a easy problem but make me mad that I have a wonderfull sound from my digtal music XL soundcard but I am unable to use my microphone which is together with my web cam. I try seperate one but still I couldnt get any sound. I have DELL Inspiron 6400 notebook and XP home ed. I made all of the updates succesfully.Please someone help me even if its not possible with this sound card.Regards

. have you selected mic in through the mixer - YES (Creative Surround Mixer)
2. whats happening with the TV wonder internal connection - Same as CD-ROM internal cable. Except for the TV it does into AUX on the SoundBlater. Have removed it now to test, but no difference. between dri've and SoundBlaster.
3. have you disabled onboard sound in bios - YES Disabled at BIOS level

Keyboard: audio and Brightness control keys not working with or without fn

The Keys for controling Audio and Brightness (F1-F5) do not work.
Also combined with pressing the "fn" key the keys do not work.
So i only control audio with the remote control or the slider in the menubar.
Making a reboot with deleting pram didn't help.
I'm running the up to date version of leopard on a macbook pro (core2duo).
I also searched in the forum for this problem.
I oten read about "sytem control"-"keyboard and mouse"-"keyboard" and the F1, F2, etc. to use as...
but switching this button on or off doesn't change anything.

problem solved:
the couse was the software update 1.1 for macbook pro, because there i had the problem like in this thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=6142512&#6142512
and did the solution like that, but there i maybe made some mistakes with renaming and copying, so i rinstalled the update and renamed it a copied to plugins, and now all works as it should.

New Folder Redirection Group Policy is not working

Recently installed a new server on an older network:
Old network server: SBS 2003
New network server: Server 2012 STD
The network is working well and all computers are able to communicate with each other. I have already mapped a few network drives to folders that are located on the server. The owner wants to implement the same Folder Redirection of their Documents folder
(Mixture of WIN7 PCs and WINXP) that their old server provided. I used the following Document to create the Folder Redirection:

I then went to each computer and performed a gpupdate /force on each computer than logged off the profile. When I logged off, the sync window (folder redirection?) popped up and still showed that it was trying to transfer/sync with the old server that is
no longer on the network. I also logged into the server and the shared folder that I selected for Folder Redirection does not have any data in it.
Is there something else that I am missing. Is there some sort of configuration on the clients themselves that I need to look for such as some Target Path?

Based on your description, have we redirected the folders back before we removed the older server?
Besides, were there some error events in the Event Viewer?
To configure folder redirection, we need to assign users proper share and NTFS permissions.

Bound CFSelect not working (with or without search box)

I'm on WS2008 (64-bit) with IIS and CF9.0.1 (32 bit) and can't seem to get a bound CFSelect to work at all. CFGrid and other AJAX contriols work great. The code (shown below) appears to run without errors but the option tags are never generated.The binding CFC method returns a query with the data I want (I can see it on a dump) but is dropped by CF somehow.
Ideally I want to use this approach on several complex forms but need to get something working first. Removing the lookup doesn't help either. I'm pulling this Oracle data via the 10G Client's ODBC driver.
I've been working on CF forever (4-9) and never was stumped like this. Otherwise CF 9 On this server is running without a hitch.
Long term I'm trying to move away from our Flash/Actionscript equivilants and move toward AJAX. But I'm stuck. Please help!

Turns out that bound (used for the CF AJAX tags) CFCs are processed by the Application.cfc event methods like CFMs are and will have any HTML tags added in. When my method returned the query it had all my template code at the top (and some on the bottom). I used the code (in the Application.cfc) below to only write the HTML when the CFM pages are processed. Hope this helps! There a lot of misleading half truths out the about this issue.

ISight not working with Webex, GoToMeeting or Lync...BUT works with Skype, Facetime, Photobooth (June 2013 MBA)

Brand new MacBook Air (June 2013, 8MB RAM, 500GB SSD)
iSight not working with Cisco Webex, Citrix GoToMeeting or Microsoft Lync (error = webcam not detected); BUT iSight works with Skype, Facetime and Photobooth.
3 hours of phone support with Webex - no luck.
Tried SMC and PRAM reset - no luck.
Tried erasing disk and reinstalling OSX 10.8.4 and apps manually with latest versions - no luck.
Apple phone support says it's not Apple's problem because Apple apps work.
Exchanged at Apple Store for another new MacBook Air, again installed apps manually with latest version (not from time machine) - STILL NO LUCK!!!
Is there an update Apple or Cisco, Citrix and Microsoft need to put out for the new MBAs or do I just have 2 lemons???

It will be interesting to see what the vendors say about using a Mac-compatible external webcam.
If not, some netbook or other Windows® device might offer compatibility at a much lower cost than a compatible Apple notebook.
We will watch for your update(s). What the vendors tell you will be very helpful to others who share this or similar issues with their new MBAs.

User Group Policy Settings not applied to new user profiles at first logon

Good Afternoon,
We have an issue that occurs to a new user when they first log on to their machines. They log on and a new profile creates from the Default User Profile. We can see that a number of our Group Policy Settings applied as "User Configuration" are
not applying.A log off and back on is required before the policies apply.
Any thoughts to this behaviour please?

How about your problem now? How many system encounter this problem? Is all policy couldn't be applied? Is there any feedback when using gpresult to check policy applied status?
As Group Policy applies after user identity authentication, generally speaking, user logoff and back doesn't helpful with this problem.
When this problem occures, have you checked event log if it identify this problem?

It is my understanding that the Computers container can not have Group Policy applied to it. Does it still inherit the default domain policy, or is it not affected by any Group Policy at all?

Outlook 2013 - Tiny Text on first tab field

In Outlook 2013, the text in the first editable field (first tab stop) on custom forms is displaying with a tiny font size (probably 3 point), the rest of the fields are using the correct font size. With some research, it appears the RICHED20.DLL
file is causing the problem. The proposed temporary fix is to replace the riched20.dll file with a previous version of the file, but this causes other issues. When is a fix going to be released for this problem?

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Seems it's a limitation of Outlook 2013 by far and there isn't a fix for this issue now. The only way seems to temporarily fix the problem is as you mentioned: replace the riched20.dll file with a previous version of the file.

Text messages ringtones are not working in the Storm Two

Device: Storm Two running OS version 5.0.0.713 on the Verizon Wireless network.
Recently, I upgraded from a Storm One to a Storm Two because of a multitude of issues with the Storm One; not enough memory, constant lock-ups; dropped calls, etc. On the Storm One I had customer ringtones for contacts; so when a contact calls me the phone will sound a specific ringtone for that contact; the same for text messages from that contact. Now that I have the Storm Two the text message tones for the contacts are not working. In fact, even when I select a ringtone for text messages for a contact the phone will ring the generic ringtone that comes with the phone. If I go into the sound profile and change the generic ringtone to one of my own and the contact sends me a text/sms message the phone will ring the ringtone that I selected in the profile that is being used at the time. This is not the way it worked on the Storm One. On the Storm One; if I have a specific ringtone for the contact and that contact sends me a text message it will sound the text messages tone for that contact. These ringtones have worked for previous devices including my Treo and Palm devices. The ringtone files worked well in the previous Storm One.
So to make a long story short; I want to know why my text message ringtones are not working as designed/setup-up. If a contact calls me the phone will sound the ringtone for that contact; but if that same contact text me it will not ring the ringtone for the contact. This is annoying and I am at my wits end trying to find out why this is not working.

Field separator is for separating the fields.That means it will effect every field in the node.
But end separator is not like that.It will apply at the end ofall fields of a node.It will effect node not a field.
