Outlook add-in wrong password

My outlook icloud add-in is not functioning.  It says "Wrong Password".  I have disabled and re-enabled the add-in, I have signed out and in of iCloud from control panel, and have rebooted my machine.  Have also downloaded latest version if iTunes.  Anyone know what else I should try?

Yes, the Outlook add-in for 32 bit Outlook for 64 bit Windows 7 is in internal beta testing for release very soon. Hopefully by the time Adobe Connect 8.2 is released soon.

    Outlook 2013 will not synch my calendar or contacts after the initial set up.  I have removed and reinstalled the iCloud control panel several times.  When I reinstall it, it synchs my contacts and calendar in the initial set up.  But after that the add in shows "wrong password" and will not synch any changes.  I have removed the iCloud control panel and removed all of the files.  The initial set up runs fine.  Then "wrong password"!

    Does the issue happen to all incoming messages or some specific messages? Please confirm if the issue can be reproduced.
    Make sure time zone settings, Date and Time settings are configured correctly in Outlook 2013, local computer machine and Exchange server using. We can open the problematic message, click File > Properties to check time in the message header. Please close
    Outlook and receive a test messages in OWA to check whether the time is shown wrong or not.

  • MIssing functionality outlook add-on: choosing a partner for an appointment

    Excuse me for my bad english.
    in outlook add-on when we link Business partner to activity, its impossible to access quickly to the partner. My customer has a lot of partners (300+), it's very long to choose a partner in the list (we just can slide down and up the list).

    search capabilities in the box for linking business partners in Outlook Add-on.

    Business needs:
    sales representatives which have a lot of meetings and rdv to fulfill, can not use SAp Bo via outlook. The time to select the business partners is very long and they lost productivity.
    Current Workaround:
    We have no solution now to solve it
    Proposed solution:
    SAP improve the Outlook Integration functionality by adding search capabilities in the box "select a partner" like it is in SAP BO.

    Same problem exists in TP4 as well. And section in documentation for this topic is wrong (Figure 29-34 and Section 29.5.1.2). Figures in Section 29.5.1.2 are for Individual Pages, but not for ADF Task Flows.

  • Imovie: cant share to facebook due to "wrong password

    when trying to share a movie or a trailer to facebook I am unable to log on to fb due to "incorrect password.  However this is the password !!!

    sorry it does not have such a window...here is what happens I make a trailer in imovie.go to drop down window ::share:: choose facebook and a sign in pops up sign in with my face book Id and password. who can see this: choose friends, give it a title,add a description and what size..then press next...this is where the box pops up wrong password...

    I've recently tried to reconnect my work email account to Outlook. However, when I try to enter my password (which I'm sure is correct, as I can log onto the account online with the password), Outlook will not accept it.

    I've had been dealing with the same issue for three weeks now. For years Outlook worked fine, then one day it asked for the password - and even when providing the correct
    password (proven by the fact that the very same password was working on my phone and the web client), still didn't accept it. 
    Finally, about 10 minutes ago, I fixed it. Before I go back to the binge drinking I’m doing to celebrate, I wanted to share everything I tried and the final solution.
    I recommend trying each approach in order – they go from the simple to the increasingly complicated / time consuming. Hopefully one of the approaches will work for you.
    My theory is that Windows somehow stored the wrong password somewhere, and kept on overwriting the correct one. I’m just very glad that is working now.    
    NO LIABILITY IS ASUMED – FOLLOW PROCEDURES AT YOUR OWN RISK. If you’re not a professional, seek professional help.  
    Here's all I tried:
    APPROACH # 1: Delete the Exchange account and try to recreate it
    1. I tried this approach in two ways: I deleted the Exchange account from within Outlook and in different attempts, deleted the account from within
    the Mail profile from the Mail area of the Control Panel. 
    2. Try to recreate the account from within Outlook using autoconfigure. Outlook would not let me - it would give me an error ("encrypted connection
    not availabe with your server"), then would try to set it up "unencrypted", then it would ask me to go to the Mail setting in the Control Panel
    3. When creating the account in the Mail area of the Control Panel, everything would seem to work - all green check marks when creating the account
    with autoconfigure.
    4. When trying to open Outlook, it would again prompt for the password, and would not recognize the correct password.
    5. I did a similar approach doing manual settings. All settings would be correct within the Mail area of the Control Panel, but Outlook would still not accept the password.
    APPROACH #2: Delete the Profile and try to recreate it
    1. Went into the Mail area of the Control Panel and deleted the profile. 
    2. In essence followed steps 2 – 5 from above (creating a profile first, then the account). No luck.
    APPROACH # 3: Use the profile assistant from my cloud Exchange provider. (Not sure if this a proprietary thing of my Exchange provider Intermedia.net.)
    1. Delete profile.
    2. Downloaded the "profile assistant" from the "Setup" area of my Intermedia.net account.
    3. When trying to run it, it would do something weird (it even stumped the Intermedia.net tech support guy): instead of creating a profile, it would
    simply say "password saved" and prompt for the user name and password.
    3. Of course, when trying to start Outlook, the password would not be recognized.
    APPROACH # 4: Delete stored credentials
    1. On the search box, type in “credential” and go to the “Credential Manager” that you will find.
    2. Delete all credentials (both “Web” and “Windows”) that appear to have anything to do with Outlook, Exchange or email. (BTW – I tried this several times, going as
    far as deleting ALL credentials I could find in my last attempt)
    3. Went back and tried approaches 1 through 3, deleting the credentials before each attempt. No luck
    APPROACH #5: Uninstalled and reinstall Outlook.
    1. Did this, then tried approaches 1 through 4.
    2. It didn’t work.
    3. Yeah. I know. Still recovering from this one.   
    APPROACH #6: The registry (I think)
    I know Windows stores passwords in the Registry as well. Ib spite of not being really sure what a Registry is, I did a web search and found the mysterious area where subdirectores with cryptic
    names (like 124ww244ab-Zs—u) are created and deleted for each app. Looking at the activity there felt like listening to the musings of a BSG Hybrid.
    Found the right directory for Outlook. Renamed it by adding “-old” to it.
    Did approaches 1 thru 4. No luck.
    APPROACH #7: Create a new User Account in my computer (Victory at last)
    I wish I had tried this first.
    The account in my computer is linked to my Microsoft account. So first, go into your Account and disconnect it from your Windows Account, making it a local account on the PC.
    Create a new account with Administrative rights. Connect this account to your Windows account.
    I went back to approach 1, but when I saw the same errors, skipped it and went to #3. This worked at last.
     I hope this info is useful. Now back to partying.

    In a nutshell, the Google/Microsoft Exchange combo will no longer work on apple devices. You will need to delete your Exchange account altogether. I know, scary! After you delete it, add your Gmail account like you would add any other regular email account on your device [Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Gmail > add your info]. That takes care of your email and calendar.

    I promise, these steps worked for me (even though I was wincing while I deleted my Exchange account). Now I have my Gmail, Google contacts, and Google calendars (even the shared calendars!) on both my iPhone and iPad :D 

  • Used wrong password to send photo in e-mail.  How do I fix it?

    I am a new mac user and just got a mac recently.  I tried to send a photo in an email and when it asked for my email address and password, I mistakenly entered the wrong password and now I can't get it to do anything.  I saw this same question somewhere else, and the answer was to to go iphoto preferences and make the change there.  But, I can't find any preferences for iphoto anywhere on my computer.   Any suggestions?  Thanks much.

    The path is in iPhoto - iPhoto menu ==> preferences ==> accounts - select the problem account and edit it
    also iPhoto has this neat feature called "HELP" - go to the help menu in iPhoto nad type account and select the e-mailing photos entry

  • 10g host preferred credentials, wrong password

    I'm getting an error message trying to set the host preferred credentials in Enterprise Manager 10g:
    "Connection to host hostname.changedthis.com as user landersd failed: ERROR: Wrong password for user"
    I've triple-checked the password, and tried several variations on the username, but I can't seem to get it to work. When I look at a connected session (osuser in V$SESSION), the username comes up as IPS\landersd, but that username doesn't work either. Is there a way to specify the username that I'm not doing correctly? I also checked the privileges and the user has 'logon as batch job' privileges, and is part of the ORA_DBA group. What am I missing?

    Windows only, I assume.
    The format of the data to be entered in the Username fields on the Credentials pages is "Domain\Username". This setting is only accepted when the user has the "Log on as a batch job" right assigned.
    Select the "Administrative Tools" control panel. Then "Local Security Policy". Expand "Local Policies", select "User Rights Assignment". Finally add the User to "Logon as a Batch Job" local security setting.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

  • Icloud outlook add-in not working in the last week

    in the last week my icloud add-in to outlook 2010 stopped working. It simply wasn't working and I tried logging out of my control panel and back in. The outlook add-in now says that my username is wrong but it isn't. I seem to be able to log-in to the icloud control panel ok but the outlook add-in doesn't seem to be working. I think it might be linked to the introduction of IOS 7 and the update for icloud control pabnel to 3.0. Anyone have any ideas or fixes?

    I just had a user call in with this exact same problem.  The steps that I took to resolve the issue are as follows:
    1.  Ran a repair on office installation and rebooted computer. (Not sure if this was nesary).
    2.  In Outlook go to File-Options-Add-Ins.  Below for Manage COM Add-ins click the Go button.
    3.  find iCloud add-in and check it off to enable it.  Click on OK until your back at outlook.
    4.  Close and relaunch outlook.  Go back to File-Options-Add-Ins and down at the Manage change the dropdown to "Disabled Items".
    5.  Choose the iCloud.dll checkbox and click on enable.
    6.  Close outlook and reopen.  You should now see the ribbon for iCloud sync.

    I need this functionality, because I want to enforce the following rules in my SSO application:
    - 99% of the users may have passwords that never expire
    - 1% (say 5 or 6) users must have passwords that do expire, because they are super users and we want to minimize the risk of their passwords getting in the wrong hands.
    I feel almost embarrased to post this question, but I really cannot find any example or documentation that shows me how to add a new password policy.

    After installing base system and reboot I'm login as a root and trying add new user with:
    useradd -m -G users,audio,lp,optical,storage,video,wheel,power,dbus,disk -s /bin/bash siamer
    so new user is adder and now is time to change password for that user so
    passwd siamer
    I'm getting info that password was changed successful.
    when trying login as a siamer getting error that WRONG PASSWORD. Was trying few times to login again as a root and change password for user "siamer" password was changed but still can't login.. what I'm doing wrong ?

    I had the same problem a while ago. I could only login after creating a user with the
    adduser
    command, i.e. the interactive method. The
    useradd
    wouldn't work. Maybe try the interactive way and see if that does the job.

    I have always let Oracle do my logins and have never done this but if this is what you want then here goes...
    Add a hidden field to the block and call it :login_ctr. Make it a number.
    Add a button to the block called "Login" and label it such.
    Make sure the alert only has one button labled 'OK' and its the default.
    Dont select the password into the form and display it. There's no reason to do that.
    In your code you told the user that the password was incorrect, but they could have also type in a wrong username. I changed the message. Its better not to tell anyone what they did wrong in case there trying to hack into your system. No reason to give them info on what they got right or wrong. Just tell them its wrong.
    On the when-button-pressed of "Login" put this code...
    I tested this a little, but hey this is pretty important you should test this extensively.
