Outlook Calendar has stopped syncing. All else works fine

Hi everyone,
I'm completely baffled!!
I use Outlook on my PC and, up until recently, it's synced perfectly with my iPhone 3G. Now, for a reason I can't find, the Outlook Calendar has stopped syncing. All my Contacts and Notes continue to sync perfectly fine from Outlook however.
I've checked my iTunes (latest version) and iPhone (latest O.S.) settings and all the right boxes seem to be ticked, so I'm completely stumped why this should be happening.
I set up a Google Calendar as a double-check and that's syncing without an issue.
Any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This can happen when an event in Outlook becomes corrupt. You can narrow it done by checking sync only the last "X" number of days in sync settings. Example start with week then five, then three days and see if problem goes away. Also if you remember around the time this started you can narrow it down sometimes.
Otherwise:
1. Export your items into CSV format.
2. Delete all items in Outlook calendar
3. Import CSV file back into Outlook*
*this will not bring back reoccurring event info. You will need to set this back up.

  • Calendar has stopped syncing to my iPhone

    Hi all,
My contacts are syncing fine, but my iPhone calendar has stopped syncing with my Mac. My MobileMe online calendar is up to date, so the Mac and MobileMe are talking fine. I've tried switching off the phone and on again. It's still out of date. It's not synced for nearly a week judging by how out of date the calendar is on my phone.
Can someone please advise on what I can try?
    Thanks,

I have had the same problem. Also seems to have started a few days ago. Mobile Me is working fine for notebooks, and desktop, but can only sync iCal information with hardwired sync at desktop. Any official word from Apple? This problem does not seem to be related to any action by users. Something has changed. I will continue to follow forum for plausible explanations.

  • Ipad calendar has stopped syncing with google account

Ipad has stopped syncing with Google.  Paid 6 months ago to have help, and it annoys me to pay again for the same reoccurring issue.
Have tried the same solution given before but it isn't doing the trick now. Any idea how to get them on e again communicating with one another?

The process of syncing Outlook calendar with Google Calendar is pretty much straightforward, in fact Google distributes a very small application that does just that. You only have to configure how you want to sync (one-way or both-ways) and how often. Then you simply "push" it from your iPhone, the system works in "listen mode" meaning that every change you make to the original calendar is automatically and instantly available on the other system.
I know it's not "the" solution, but for the time being it's the only work around.
    Take care.

Hi Anita1953! Wow 3 weeks is a long time for your Outlook calendar not to sync with your phone. I would be happy to help. Have you checked the sync setting on the phone? Which phone to do have?

  • Calendar has stopped syncing with Outlook

After many successful months syncing my iPhone with my work Office Outlook calendar, it suddenly stopped working just over a week ago, though it still syncs my emails and contacts. Many colleagues are striking the same issue.
I have deleted and reainstalled the account, deleted hundreds of emails and restricted the syncing to just the past three months. Still no calendar.
Without my calendar, I might as well go back to a Blackberry, which - though I'm not a fan - never failed to sync my diary.
    Any suggestions?

  • Palm Treo calendar has stopped syncing with iCal

I have a Palm Treo 650 and an Intel iMac runing OS X 10.4.11. I've had both for a few years, and I've always been able to sync them with no problems using the iSync conduit when doing a Hot Sync from the Palm. But suddenly I'm finding that, while it appears to be syncing fine and doesn't display any error messages, iCal is not being updated with new events from the Palm calendar.
Tonight is the first time I've encountered this, but it's also the the first time I've been able to sync at all in a while, because for the last few weeks, every time I've tried, I've gotten an error due to having too much data on the Palm - which is a catch-22 in that I didn't want to delete anything without being able to do a backup, but couldn't do a backup without deleting things first. But finally I took the plunge tonight and deleted a bunch of things. And it seemed like it synced OK - except that no new events turned up in iCal.
I've tried several times, and I've checked my settings in both iSync and the HotSync Manager to make sure they were OK. I read through some support articles on here (although most of them seemed to deal only with 10.5 and 10.6) and tried re-enabling Palm syncing in iCal, resetting my sync history, and quitting iCal, clearing the cache folders, and restarting it, but still no go.
The little mini-report you see at the end of a HotSync always says the iSync conduit ran OK, but if I look in the log itself, I see this:
iSync Conduit: received NULL message, disconnecting... 1/22/10 4:43:48 AM
    OK iSync Conduit
So it seems like it is encountering some sort of problem with iSync, but is then reporting it OK anyway? The iSync log doesn't show any errors at all. Another odd thing I noticed is that if I have iSync open while I'm hot syncing, iSync seems to be finished while Hot Sync is still working on the Datebook, even though theoretically it should be iSync that's handling that.
Does anyone have any idea what might be going on here? Or anything else I might try in the way of troubleshooting?

The conduit Apple is the iSync Palm Conduit: that's its Finder name.
    Ah, I see.
There are many thing which can cause the null issue to arise. Chief among them is a lack of available storage space on your Palm device itself. Typically this can only be corrected by overwriting the contents of your organizer by initiating a first time synchronization and selecting that option, following a reset of the synchronization framework on your Macintosh.
Eek - I have a fair bit of stuff on there I don't want to lose, since I usually use the Treo for taking notes at business meetings and that sort of thing. Maybe I can find a way of getting my notes out by copying into notes fields in the address book... (I haven't been able to get Memos to sync since I stopped using Entourage, and Documents have never synced, so I'm kind of used to kludgy workarounds for getting at those.)
It makes sense that the lack of space would be an issue, since this really only started when the Treo got too full, and while I've been able to delete enough stuff to at least enable to HotSync in theory, obviously it wasn't enough for it to sync everything properly.
You mentioned two machines - are you synchronizing your Palm device with BOTH, or with just one of these platforms? The synchronization to multiple platforms may also result in the sort of issue that you are seeing.
Two machines? I don't think I said anything like that... Maybe the way I described the multiple conduits folders was confusing? They're all on the same machine, just that one's in the main Library and one's in the Library in my user folder. The only machine I sync it to is my iMac.
I've been going through and deleting what files I feel like I can safely delete, in order to free up some space in hopes that that will help, but on the whole, I am starting to suspect that the long-range solution to this whole problem might be getting an iPhone instead. :-/

  • My iPad calendar has stopped syncing to my iPhone calendar. I didn't change any settings. I have now switched off the iCloud calendar on my iPhone but don't know how to get it back.

I added items to my iPad calendar yesterday but they wouldn't copy into the calendar on my IPhone. I switched both devices off and on again but to no avail. The calendars were all ticked the same. I have now deleted the iCloud calendar from the iPhone but don't know how to get it back.
My Errands app is also not syncing. If I mark something as Done on the iPad, it's not removing them on the iPhone version.

  • Calendar Repeatedly stops syncing

    BB Z10 STL100-3
    10.2.0.429
    Outlook 2007
Only 1 Calendar on Outlook, nothing in personal calendar on phone.
Calendar quits syncing - all else works.  IT resets the connection and everything works for a few days.
Then I lose the calendar sync again.
    Thoughts to fix?

You would need to contact your carrier and get them to escalate your case to BB. BB will then need logs from your device and from your company's Exchange server in order to properly diagnose.
