Outlook Calendar/I Cloud sync issues

How do i get my icloud calendar in my outlook 2010. I tryign syncing with Itunes and my phone. they are on my phone and in my icloud but i can't get them into my outlook 2010. I shared my folder from the icloud but the calendar is read only with no permission change options. I also can't find hte outlook icloud add-in anywhere... very frustrating. Any and all help would be awesome!

Did you install the latest control panel (2.1) and turn calendars on?

  • Outlook Calendar to iPhone Syncing Issue - Event Alerts

    When my outlook calendar events sync to my iphone 4, the event gives me an alert 15 minutes before the event.  I checked, and there is no alert set on my outlook calendar, and on the iphone I have set the default alert to none for calendar events.  Why would the synced event give me a 15 minute alert, when I created the event in outlook to not alert me?

    When I first got my iPhone 3Gs about 18 months ago I was having trouble with the sync-ing of calendars and found that events that DID repeat "forever" were the problem. After changing them to only repeat for (say) one year's worth of time (weekly meetings) or about 10 years (annual events) everything worked OK.
    It appeared that if there were too many entries that the sync. broke. For example I have one uncle born in 1912 (yeah he's seen a few things in his life...) and his birthday would not sync at all until I lied and said he was born in 1972 (other dates might have worked also I just lost motiviation for trying to pin-point the problem -- I had a support case open with Apple but they were never able to explain the behavior .... just that (after I figured it out) "ummm yeah, that's the way it works" ....

    I've got the same problem and no one is answering to it. call up the apple support and waited for almost 30mins before i can get help, after an hour they only keep asking me for account emails and stuff, end up getting nothing solved. Sad!

    I'm completely baffled!!
    I use Outlook on my PC and, up until recently, it's synced perfectly with my iPhone 3G. Now, for a reason I can't find, the Outlook Calendar has stopped syncing. All my Contacts and Notes continue to sync perfectly fine from Outlook however.
    I've checked my iTunes (latest version) and iPhone (latest O.S.) settings and all the right boxes seem to be ticked, so I'm completely stumped why this should be happening.
    I set up a Google Calendar as a double-check and that's syncing without an issue.
    Any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    This can happen when an event in Outlook becomes corrupt. You can narrow it done by checking sync only the last "X" number of days in sync settings. Example start with week then five, then three days and see if problem goes away. Also if you remember around the time this started you can narrow it down sometimes.
    Otherwise:
    1. Export your items into CSV format.
    2. Delete all items in Outlook calendar
    3. Import CSV file back into Outlook*
    *this will not bring back reoccurring event info. You will need to set this back up.

    I can sync with my outlook calendar, but cannot sync with contacts or e-mail.  When I click on Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars it doesn't open and reverts to the home page.  When I try to open Mail I get an error message saying "Cannot get mail.  The user name or password for Gmail is incorrect".  If I press "settings" it reverts to home page.  I was revised to restore settings which I have now done, but the problem has not been resolved. Can anyone help?
    i do have a gmail account and may have used this when I first set up itunes/ipad (I'm new to Apple).  However, I want to synchronize with my Microsoft Exchange account.

    It may be a bit late for your needs, but there's a sync product for Outlook (an add-in) that will sync public and private folders/calendars.  Once you have your items in a mailbox folder, the regular ios sync will bring it to your device.  It's called Add2Outlook, it's made by DidItBetter.com Software.
    It syncs private and public, mailboxes and folders in any direction.  One-way, two-way, read-only or writable.  It also works with Office 365 and hosted exchange providers, if that's your situation.  It works for calendars, contacts, tasks, email, whatever.  It can even sync to PST or between two different Exchange servers.
    It installs on your workstation, not on the Exchange server.

  • What happened to the outlook calendar option for syncing?

    I have downloaded the 6.0.1 iOS and now my outlook calendar is not syncing to my phone.  When I have my phone connected to iTunes and look under Info it says that my calendars are being synced iwth my iPhone ovver the air from iCloud.  I thought I had an option to select Outlook like I do for mail accounts.  What do I do?

    On your phone, go to Settings>iCloud, and turn off iCloud for anything you want to sync with Outlook.

    Does anybody know if there is an issue with the Calendar not syncing with iCloud. Everything in Outlook will sync using iCloud except the Calendar.iCal has no issue, just Calendar from Outlook.

  • Outlook calendar does not sync some entries

    Hi
    Using latest iOS on iPad 2.
    Servers are running Exchange 2007, Activesync with network (over the air) synchronisation (not USB) to iPad and iPhone devices.
    Outlook 2007 on PC, Windows XP SP2.
    The Outlook Calendar does not reliably sync new and changed appintments to the iPad calendar in some cases. There does not appear to be a specific pattern to the problem.
    Any pointers to where to start troubleshooting this?

  • My Outlook calendar won't sync with my ipod touch and vice versa.  Wherever I input the info is where it stays. Contacts and notes sync but not calendar.

    My iPod Calendar won't sync with my Outlook Calendar and vice versa.  Wherever I input the information is where it stays.  My contacts and notes sync just fine.  Please help.  Very frustrated.  It used to work just fine.  I just upgraded to iTunes 10.2 version.

    I have the same problem since I updated to iTunes 10.2 Sue (I think). For me this was somewhere in January.
    I wasn't sure iTunes was the issue, until I read your post. I tested syncing a note, and that works fine.
    My 2nd generation Ipod Touch runs on IOS 4.2.1. It won't upgrade to 4.3.
    Possibly the synchonisation between iTunes 10.2 and IOS 4.2.1 doesn't work correctly.
    Has somebody else solved this isue? I use both calendars (on iPod Touch and on PC) for work and private matters.
    Otherwise I have to uninstall iTunes 10.2 and downgrade to 10.2.

  • Outlook Calendar is NOT Syncing

    I am using Outlook 2007 with my iPhone 5 under iOS 8.0.2.  Prior to this upgrade, my phone and PC sync perfectly without any issues.  After I upgraded to iOS 8.0.2, I have no syncing with Outlook or the phone, it is as if they are NOT communicating at all.  My calendar is locked into place and nothing is changing.  I have tried adding info on the phone, than sync'd-nothing.  I added info on the PC (Outlook), than sync'd-again nothing!  I have reset the phone, I have restored the phone and all have not changed anything.  I cannot believe I am the only person having trouble with Outlook and the phone with the 8.0.2 upgrade.  Has anyone had this problem?  Has anyone who had the problem fixed it?  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    I was having the same issues and getting pretty frustrated after a 2 hr. visit to the Apple store that did nothing to resolve the issue.   After several trial and error fixes that I tried on my own at home, here is what I did that I think finally solved this problem
    updated iTunes to 11.4 (not sure it's necessary, but Apple store employee recommended)
    connected my iPhone 5s to sync
    clicked on my iPhone icon in iTunes.  under "info" tab, I noticed that contacts and calendars were set to "update over air with iCloud"
    I went into settings on my iphone, under iCloud tab and shut off "Contacts" and "Calendar" button
    back into iTunes under info tab, noticed that "Sync calendars/Contacts with outlook" appeared - checked boxes accordingly
    sync
    This seems to have resolved the issue that I was having.  My contacts and calendar are now syncing properly with Outlook 2007 as they had prior to my updating to iOS 8.0.2.   Hopefully this helps!

    I have a 3rd generation ipod nano (4GB). It has been working fine since January but it has had trouble in the last month. I noticed about two weeks ago that my ipod nano had no contacts and no calendar events on it. I went into itunes and it was set to sync all contacts and calendars. It just wouldn't sync them. The ipod had over 2GB available free space. Software is all updated.
    Unclicking and reclicking the settings didn't work, so I did unset and unplugged, etc etc. Nothing worked.
    So I reformatted the ipod completely. That fixed the problem for awhile but not a week later it's started up again. when I go to my ipod it says it can only sync 21 of my contacts because:
    "Only limited portion of your contacts could be loaded due to the amount of content on this ipod."
    The ipod has 2.5GB available this time! None of the calendars are synced at all. It syncs my music no problem..
    So what the heck is going on and what can I do?! I'm out of ideas.

    This is a known issue with the current iPod nano firmware. Nothing is going to 'solve' it but an update from Apple. However, it's not nearly as serious as it seems. After you sync your Calendars and Contact (and Notes, they are affected by this issue, too), they often will not appear, but a simple reset will always 'refresh the iPod's memory'. (And you do that by turning the hold switch on and then off, and then holding down the centre button and menu button simultaneously for about 10 seconds until the iPod reboots.)
    This is not actually an issue with Contacts or Calendars failing to sync. It's an issue with the iPod failing to recognise that they've been synced. A simple reset always solves it in my case and many others.

    Running Outlook 2003 on Win XP.  Yes that's what IT allows....
    Updated IOS7 (now at 7.0.3), tried to sync on the next day at work.  Itunes forced me to update (11.1.2.31).
    Updated iTunes.
    Notes sync.
    Calendar does not.
    iTunes says:

    Your calendars are being synced with your iPhone over the air
    Over-the-air sync settings cane be changed on your iPhone
    I've disabled OTA calendar sync I know of (Google, iCloud) with no effect.  There are still some iCal feeds that I left on.
    Suggestions appreciated, but I'm stuck with my work environment for now.  Really would like to get back where I was before "updating". :-)

    Still struggling with this.  I did discover a diagnostic in iTunes, but it says all is well.  I suspect that is because it thinks the iPhone is syncing the Outlook calendar over the air:

  • Outlook Calendar and Contact Sync with Nano

    Just wondering if apple is working on a service pack for itunes 5.0 that will actually allow itunes to properly sync up with outlook calendar and contacts without getting that -50 error (or -20). forgot error code !!!

    As others have said in your other posts, no one here knows or can say what Apple is working on.
