Outlook Calendar Synchronization failed

My z22 has suddenly stopped syncing with my outlook calendar and I get the above message.  All other operations say they are OK.
Post relates to: Palm Z22

You're syncing with Office and since you mention only the one conduit, can you set your next sync to do a "slow" or a "forced slow" sync? Sometimes this gets me past some of these sync issues.

I've been trying to get this syncronization to work for over a week now =(.. to no avail.. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, tried installing it on another PC and I've tried almost every fix I can find.

I saw this solution and he doesn't have any events that span overnight but he does have reoccuring events with no end date.. his defense was that it was working before and these reoccuring events with no date were there..
could an update have come out that changed this issue for outlook?

  • Get message "Outlook Calendar Synchronization failed"

I hope someone can help. When I sync, the hotsync log gives me the following info. Everything syncs fine except the calendar won't sync. The message doesn't give me any info on why it won't sync (except maybe the words "Recovery sync" - not sure why it says that). I have had a Palm for years and never had this problem. It just started about a week ago. I have a Tungsten E and am using Windows XP. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

I was brave and just ran the Detect and Repair. I was very lucky and was never asked for the installation disk :-). It ran succesfully. I restarted my computer, just in case that would help, and ran another sync. I got the same error as you can see below. What other ideas do you (or anyone) have? I so appreciate the help and am confident I can get this resolved.

  • Outlook calendar synchronization does not delete

    Hi
I am synchronizing my Outlook calendar with my N93 and it is generally working fine, but I am having one problem:
If an appointment that has already been synchronized to the phone is later on deleted it will not be removed from the phone calendar on the next synchronization. In the same way if the time of an existing (and already synchronized) appointment is updated both the old and the new time is registered as an appointment on the phone after the next synchronization.
However, the non-deleted items are not synchronized back to Outlook so after the sync the two calendars are actually not the same any more.
I have set up PC Suite to synchronize both ways and letting Outlook win on conflicts. (have also tried to set it to just Outlook->phone, but no difference)
I am running MS Outlook 2007 on Windows XP SP2.
Nokia PC Suite is version 6.85.14.1.
    My phone is a N93.
    Thanks in advance!
    /Peter

    Salam,
I want to know if i can record sound in my N93 for more than 1 minute.
And i want if i can find a logiciel for alarme to install in my N93.
Thank you very much for your answer.

  • Outlook Calendar Synchronization Issues

    Hi all,
We are experiencing an issue with Microsoft Outlook where new meetings, and also changes to meetings, are
not always appearing in the calendar view of the meeting organizer. Outlook clients are a mixture of 2010 & 2013 (Outlook Anywhere), Exchange is 2007 and hosted (not with Microsoft),
resource accounts are resource/room accounts rather than user accounts. Clearly the problem is either client or server side, but as our Exchange is hosted it's impossible to gain any real insight in to potential server side culprit. However,
I will be passing this same information on to the company hosting our Exchange (not Microsoft). So I'm really looking for assistance in trying to determine what the problem is if it is client side. A simple example of this scenario would be:
    1. Meeting organizer creates
a meeting request by inviting one user and one room/resource.
    2. The meeting is auto accepted by the resource and confirmation is received by the organizer, but does
not always appear in the organizers view of the resources calendar.
    3. The meeting is manually accepted by the user and confirmation is received by the organizer,
but does not always appear in the organizers view of the users calendar.
    4. The meeting shows correctly in the users webmail view and Outlook view of their own
    calendars.
    5. The meeting shows correctly in the webmail view of the resources calendar.
What we know about the problem:
    1. Recreating the OST will temporarily resolve the problem, although is not a viable long
    term solution.
    2. Turning cached mode off will resolve the problem permanently.
    3. Meeting will sometimes appear after a random amount of time/days
So clearly a problem is with the synchronization of
free/busy information between the server and the OST. I do have advanced log files in .ETL from a session where the problem occurred but can't see how to attach?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

    1. Recreating the OST will temporarily resolve the problem, although is not a viable long term solution.
    2. Turning cached mode off will resolve the problem permanently.
    3. Meeting will sometimes appear after a random amount of time/days
    Hi Jan,
Since the issue doesn't happen in Outlook Online mode (uncheck Use Exchange Cached mode) nd recreating the profile would resolve the problem temporarily, the issue should be related to Outlook client.
In Cached mode, please check the following settings in Outlook:
    1. Click Account Settings on the File tab.
    2. In the Account Settings dialog box, click the Email tab, click to select the Exchange account, and then click
    Change.
    3. Click More Settings. On the Advanced tab, make sure the
Use Cached Exchange Mode and Download Shared Folders check box have been checked.
    4. Finish it and restart Outlook.
If it still doesn't work, please close Outlook and click the Start menu, Run command (Windows key + R), type or paste
outlook.exe /sniff   (Note: Make sure there is a space between the words.)
Then press Enter (or OK button) to restart Outlook to have a try.

  • Error syncing Outlook calendars : "sync server failed to sync the phone"; bad Outlook entries?

I just started having problems syncing my calendars from Outlook 2007/WinXP to my iPhone via iTunes, getting the "cannot sync" error. I tried following all the advice elsewhere on these boards -- deleting my backups and resetting sync history, using a different cable/USB port, etc., but nothing helped. I'm strongly averse to doing a backup/recovery unless I absolutely positively know it will fix it, and right now, I doubt that it will.
I looked in the sync log files, and found this:
    [2828 @ Wed Jul 06 15:08:27 2011] [_ISDVLog AppleMobileSync.exe] While filtering - Some ids (<CFArray 0254F1B8 [00BC5078]>{type = immutable, count = 15, values = (
        0 : E8034F72-29A8-7448-8CDE-343B4F9B8420
        1 : 91D1F339-ADF7-064D-9BF4-1634B516832B
        14 : 37C931FA-1102-F44D-B670-4E118229A8B9
)}) to filter were not found in the truth! There must be a reference to a non-existent record
So I suspect the problem lies here, and that it's complaining that some calendar records are somehow corrupt or otherwise problematic for the sync engine. However, I'm at a loss to figure out which items these are, or how to even narrow it down to a specific calendar -- it doesn't matter if I uncheck all of the calendars but one, I still get it no matter what, making me think it could be in a calendar I am explicitly NOT trying to sync.
Or...given that the problem happens if I unselect all my individual calendars (the "Sync Calendars with..." remains checked), could the problem be corrupt records on the phone? I haven't tried removing the calendars entirely on the phone and replacing them, although that may be my next step, but if the sync continues to fail, I'll have NO calendar data (instead of just out-of-date data), which is far worse.
Am I on the right track here?

Well, the answer is that I was on the right track with the second suggestion. The problem seems to have been corrupt records on the phone itself. I checked the option to replace all calendar information on the next sync, then synced a second time, and everything restored fine. (Minus the calendar colors that I had arranged just so, but that's fixable with lots of re-syncing and patience.)

  • Problems with Outlook 2007 synchronization

Are there any known issues with  Palm Desktop 4.1.4 and HotSync Manager (Windows) and Outlook 2007? I just upgraded a users computer and it now has Office Outlook 2007 installed on it. I installed the Palm m500 and the Palm desktop s/w & hotsync manager setting the the conduits (datebook, calendar, notes, tasks, contacts & addressbook) to "Desktop overwrites handheld". It seems to run smoothly; at the end the log states that hotsync was successful but the calendar on the PDA remains unchanged.

It may be a bit late for your needs, but there's a sync product for Outlook (an add-in) that will sync public and private folders/calendars.  Once you have your items in a mailbox folder, the regular ios sync will bring it to your device.  It's called Add2Outlook, it's made by DidItBetter.com Software.
It syncs private and public, mailboxes and folders in any direction.  One-way, two-way, read-only or writable.  It also works with Office 365 and hosted exchange providers, if that's your situation.  It works for calendars, contacts, tasks, email, whatever.  It can even sync to PST or between two different Exchange servers.
It installs on your workstation, not on the Exchange server.
Check it out here: Outlook Contact and Calendar Sync for Office 365

  • Heeeelp!!!!!! Outlook Calendar Synchronization problem

    Hi:
I have a curve 8900. I used as a PDA and phone, so far no BIS or BES, cause I am working in a country with no blackberry services. Until a few days ago, it was working ok synchronizing all contacts, tasks and calendar appointments. Now I cant synch the calendar, but tasks and contacts work ok. I unistalled the Desktop software, hard reseted the phone, deleted the calendar data base using the advance backup option, deleted the intellysync folder, all that without success. I dont know what I am going to do.
I have desktop software ver 4.7
Some body help me please, I need my calendar appointments in my blackberry.

    2- delete the calendar
If you are having errors in your Calendar on your BlackBerry, and you wish to delete the entire Calendar database on your BlackBerry, follow the directions below. Make certain you have a good copy of your Calendar, as this procedure will complete delete ALL Calendar entries on your BlackBerry.
    a. Open Desktop Manager on your PC.
    b. Open up Backup/Restore > Advanced.
    c. From Advanced you'll see a split panel screen. The left panel is what is going to be backed up from your device and the right is a list of the currently existing databases.
    d. Highlight on the right side your Calendar database and click the arrow in the middle pointing to the left. This will copy the information over and prepare it for back-up.
    e. Once the back-up has completed, hit the Clear button at the bottom to erase and clean out the entire Calendar database.
    f. After it's finished, it will ask you if you want to save the back-up you've created, say yes and check the device to make sure the calendar has been properly cleared out. Now, resync the necessary contact information and you should be set to go.

    Hello!
looks like there are some corrupted calendar record(s) on you palm device.  Either:
    1.  Set the calendar conduit to desktop overwrites handheld to reset the data on the phone.  This will replace the calendar data on the phone with the data in Outlook/Palm Desktop.
    2.  Purchase dbfixit from www.pimlicosoftware.com to install on your device and have it fix the corruption(s).  Be sure to follow the directions of this application when you do the easyfix.  It will at the end make you do a handheld overwrites desktop sync afterwards.
One or the other should resolve this problem, just a matter which side has the most up to date data.

  • A Calendar Synchronization Failed problem

Yes, I searched and read the related threads with solutions.
I installed DBFixIt and ran it, it now scans with no errors and no deleted records,
still calendar synchronization fails. (Both EZ and Advanced were tried.)
I installed DateBk6 (Thank you! I had heard of it, and love what Pimlico has done!)
It reads and uses the data just fine, still calendar synchronization fails.
I tried renaming the user tree on my computer, forcing it to create all new files on the synch,
    still calendar synchronization fails.
In fact, the entire datebook subdirectory was empty after it was created.
I am at my wits end, there has to be something I can do ... something that I am overlooking.

Are you trying to sync to Outlook?  If so, try to sync to Palm desktop for a given hotsync.  What is the hotsync log doccumenting for the Calendar sync specifically.  A copy & paste of that would be nice.

  • Outlook calendar changes offline do not synchronize when back online

I use iCloud on my Windows 7 64-bit PC to synchronize with my other devices. The iCloud icon on the button bar usually says "Refresh" in my Outlook calendar. If my internet connection goes out, the button changes to "Go Online". It stays that way until I press it. My problem is that changes I made in Outlook during the "Go Online" status do not seem to update when I press that button and even when I press "refresh" after that. I am stuck with changes on my Outlook that are not reflected in iCloud.

  • Synchronization of past Outlook Calendar entries with Blackberry Q10

Is there no option to include the synchronization of past calendar entries from my Outllok Calendar? All what I found on Blackberry Link is “Import contacts/ Calendar”. However, it seems that the synchronization applies only to future Outlook Calendar entries. There should be an option allowing to keep the past calendar entries on the BB device. Is there something that I overlook? Thanks for any support.

Hello mokkTA1 and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Thanks for your question synchronizing your device with your computer.
In BlackBerry Link click on your device and open the settings. Under Synchronization click on Configure next to the Calendar. Under Device Sync Period there is an option to sync All Entries. The default setting chooses the last 30 days and future entries.
After changing the sync period, try the sync and let me know if the older items now import.
