Outlook Calendar to Blackberry Torch

I am a new member here.  I have a Torch 9800 operating on 6.0.  I have Outlook 2007.  I can sync everything but calendar.  I get the information that Calendar is "not installed".  Any help you can provide would be greatfully accepted.

On your BlackBerry, go to Options > Device > Advanced Settings > Default Service and look to make sure your default calendar is set to the email account you use.
Then, in the BlackBerry Desktop Software, follow the instructions in this link below to make sure your calendar is setup to sync.

  • Multiple Outlook Calendars - sync to Torch 9800

    Hi there,
I'm posting to see if I can find a way to sync multiple outlook calendars with my blackberry.  I work in a medical clinic, and everyone has their own calendars which list patients' appointments (set by the admin on her computer).  Everyone else has an iPhone, and I have stubbornly refused to switch (I like my blackberry, and I like the security it gives).
Right now, I have set blackberry desktop software to one-way sync the clinic calendar to mine (only my clinic appointments).  If I set more than that, it all merges into one calendar.   However, my iPhone-toting-coworkers sync it all, then can select any clinician on their phone, and see that person's calendar.  Very handy if you get stuck at the hospital and need to see who has room in their schedule to cover for you.
    I'm envious.
Surely, I think to myself, BlackBerry must be capable of this.  I mean, it's BlackBerry.  Master of all things communication and calendaring!  Surely my phone can do that!  So if anyone can help me view my colleagues calendars on my BB, I'd really appreciate it.
    Thanks!

    Hey minumant
You can  only sync the top calendar from your E7 whereas  the other two  could be modified or deleted and the latter can't be modified or deleted.
Feel  free  to include more topics  again in the future.
I hope this answer your question.
    Best regards
    Carl

  • Outlook Calendar and Blackberry not Synchronizing

I see this is a common problem but have not found the answer.  Outlook 2002 on OS XP.  Everything else synchs fine.  Appears to skip right over calendar.  I dont even see it when it is doing the snych to Outlook.  I verified calendar is set up correctly to synch in Desktop Manager, current version.  I uninstalled Facebook, nothing.  i tried either way synch, nothing.  uninstalled DM and reinstalled, nothing.
Any thoughts or ideas is appreciated.  Bayer

Outstanding.  You resolved my issue. Thank you.  You know what’s funny?  it was my wedding anniversary calendar entry that was the issue.  So I deleted it and all works now.  Let’s just hope my marriage lasts!

  • Updating outlook calendar on blackberry

When I sync my blackberry to my IMac the calendar updates from the IMac repeat themselves on the phone instead of just maintaining one copy of each event on each calendar...???

  • BlackBerry Travel no longer posting Trip Details to Exchange Outlook Calendar

I have two users (BES) who use BlackBerry Travel quite often.  I verified this by looking at their calendars and by actually logging to to Outlook as them (since I am the admin).
Prior to the problem every trip had details.  In other words, if you had a flight it showed the flight numbers and times.  If you booked a hotel, it showed check in/ check out dates, details of the hotel, etc.
Now, for example, on a trip that is just a hotel, the user's calendar just says "Trip to Cleveland" on the Outlook Calendar. AND in the email notification from BB Travel, there are not details except a link to the trip in BB Travel.
What has changed and why.  Most users in my business who use BB Travel need others to know more details when hey scan a travelers calendar.  Also, the user themselves wants to see the details on their calendar like they used to when looking in Outlook.
I don't use the app myself since I"m chained to my desk and the servers.  But I can certainly understand their frustration.  I've googled my butt off trying to figure this out and have found NOTHING.
    Anybody?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,
Before a user can view one of your calendar, they need permissions by following steps.
Right-click on the calendar you wish to share.
Choose Properties, select the Permission tap.
If Default has Reviewer permission you won’t need to add individual names to the list unless they need more permissions than the Default account has.
Click Add and select the names you want to share with from the Global Address List.
Give them at least Reviewer permission so they have Folder visible permission.
Click OK to close the dialog.
Repeat for each calendar you wish to share.
Once the calendar permissions are set, the user who the calendars are shared with needs to add the mailbox to their profile, as a secondary account.
    Go to File, Account Settings.
Select your Exchange account and click Change.
    Click More Settings.
On the Advanced tap, click Add.
Type all or part of the name of the mailbox that was shared with you. Select the correct name if presented with a list of names.
    Click OK.
The mailbox you added is now in your folder list and the calendars you have permission to view will be listed in the Calendar pane.
    Best Regards.

  • How do you sync iCloud (contact, calendar, task) to outlook 2011 for Mac? and how do you make seemless sync between iCloud to Outlook 2011 to Blackberry device or an iPad?

I have three device: Macbook Pro (OSX 10.7.5) for work; an iPad and a Blackberry for mobile. I used mail, iCal, and Address Book combine with mobileme (iCloud) to exchange data such as contact, calendar and task from my Mackbook Pro to my iPad but never to Blackberry. The problem is my boss was asking me to change to Outlook 2011 for Mac because some of the email that I sent from Mail did not appear in my client's Blackberry. So how do you sync iCloud (contact, calendar, task) to Outlook 2011 for Mac? and how do you make seemless sync between iCloud to Outlook 2011 to Blackberry device or an iPad?

  • Help getting Outlook 2007 to sync with proper calendar on Blackberry Curve

Hi I'm new to this forum and have looked for specific answers but not luck as of yet. I'll try to explain what I need to happen fully so it may seem like I'm rambling.
I've recently been issued a new computer with Vista and Outlook 2007 for work. Previously I had Win XP and Outlook 2003. Always I had my blackberry set up to recieve all my emails from my personal email accounts as well as my work email.
My problem is that now when I place items on my Outlook 2007 calendar and sync to my blackberry, my Outlook items don't show up on blackberry and vice versa.
If I inititiate calander item from blackberry, making sure I am using work email address, it shows up as appt on blackberry calendar but doesn't show up on Outlook.
If I recieve email invite for appointment on Blackberry, it does show up as appointment. I believe when I set up Outlook 2007 it must be placing the items in a different default calendar, but even though I've selected on blackberry to show all calendars, it still doesn't show up.
Syncing is working properly between the phone and outlook as far as connection, just not showing up.
What I want to happen of course is, enter an item on phone and have it sync to outlook, or enter item on outlook and show up on blackberry..but that's not happening. I've tried all settings I can see and am at a loss.
How can I change what items are in my Outlook 2007 are set as default? It's so screwy I can't even explain what's going on...I'm very tempted to reinstall Outlook 2001 just because it doesn't recognize different calanders so at least all items would show up on blackberry. Help. Thanks.

Okay update. I've deleted all personal address CICAL files in blackberry except for the one I want to use. I cleaned the service records, did a hard reboot, the resynced my phone.
All worked well except for Calendar. My Outlook calendar is full on computer but nothing happened to phone calendar. This makes me think that Outlook 2007 is storing all the calendar entries as a different default, rather than my work email address, but I don't know how to change.
Also, I don't know how to covert entries from one default address to another in Outlook. Probably something in initial setup that I clicked or didn't change properly.
Another question, I sync via cable (not wireless). One of the options in the intellisync setup is Microsoft Outlook Internet Settings or Outlook. I'm using outlook of course but since the MS Outlook Internet Settings is default choice, I've just left it at that (although when I change it nothing seems to happen anyway). Should this be one way or another?
    Thanks.

  • Synchronizing Outlook Calendar and Contacts with Blackberry Q10

I got a new Blackberry Q10 device and wanted to synchronize it with my Outlook calendar and contacts on my notebook. I installed Blackberry Link on the notebook. But in a pop down menu I was only allowed to choose from 2 pst-files which are not the correct ones. The one I want to choose is in another folder. But how can I select this one to synchronize with?
Thanks for your help. And sorry for the silly question, but I am only a very normal user without any specific know how.
    Kind regards
    Malika

    Hey MalikaBauer,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
    Thanks for the question.
Is the Microsoft Outlook profile that you're currently trying to access on an Microsoft Exchange server or is hosted at a different location?  If so, you will not be able to access that PST with BlackBerry Link.
BlackBerry Link currently only supports local PST files.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
    Cheers.

  • Synchronization of past Outlook Calendar entries with Blackberry Q10

Is there no option to include the synchronization of past calendar entries from my Outllok Calendar? All what I found on Blackberry Link is “Import contacts/ Calendar”. However, it seems that the synchronization applies only to future Outlook Calendar entries. There should be an option allowing to keep the past calendar entries on the BB device. Is there something that I overlook? Thanks for any support.

Hello mokkTA1 and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Thanks for your question synchronizing your device with your computer.
In BlackBerry Link click on your device and open the settings. Under Synchronization click on Configure next to the Calendar. Under Device Sync Period there is an option to sync All Entries. The default setting chooses the last 30 days and future entries.
After changing the sync period, try the sync and let me know if the older items now import.
    Thanks!

  • Blackberry Outlook Calendar Sync Issue

We recently discovered a outlook calendar sync issue we can add items on the Blackberry and they will show up in Exchange. But you can’t change a calendar item from the Blackberry, e.g. if you create an item on the phone it will show up in Outlook, but if you use the phone to change the date or name of it Outlook will still show the old one.

  • Trying to coordinate Groupwise, Blackberry and Outlook Calendar appointments

I am attempting to transfer appointments from Novell Groupwise to my Blackberry 8830 and ultimately synch with MS Outlook at home. I set a rule in Groupwise to delegate all appointments to my Blackberry. I receive the appointments and I can accept it (and subsequently enter it in my device calendar). When I try to synch with my home computer, the GW appointments do not transfer. I have also set the device to override the Outlook calendar during a synch but still no luck....any thoughts?

  • Error when syncing blackberry with Outlook calendar

I had sync all set up and working fine.  I would occassionally get an error, but could solve it by resetting the configuration, then reconfiguring it.  Now I get an error every time, even immediately after resetting/reconfiguring.  The log shows that the process is failing when it is reading a record from my Outlook calendar.  Even after I delete the offending record, and several before and after it, the sync process fails again!  Is there some reliable way to debug and fix this problem?

  • Blackberry Pink Pearl 8130 Synchronizing Trouble with Outlook Calendar

Recently I have attempted to synchoronize my phone and calendar at work (don't have it set up at home).  During the synchronizing progress, as it is reading Outlook Calendar, I receive an error message "Operation Terminated Unexpectedly" when it reaches a certain record number.  I have restarted my computer, attempted through the desktop manager to configure the synchronization but also get an error message there.  Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, I have again tried to sync my phone and calendar, and again it is unsuccessful. I changed the folder option as I did before from the Microsoft default (which resulted in the original error message: Operation Terminated Unexpectedly" when it came to a certain record).  I also changed the folder, restarted my computer, and tried again to sync but without success.  I am confused by all the information out there and can't make heads or tails of it all.  Can anyone help me figure this out?
