Outlook configuration?

Hi experts,
in my organization MS outlook is already configured with Workflow. iam working in support side ,now i got the requirement after the creation of XD01 i want to send a mail to personal id of Outlook. how to configure this, where can i start to send mail to outlook.? please tell me the procedure.

i want to send a mail to personal id of Outlook.
This can be acheived in two ways one way is create a workflow and include a standard mail step in the workflow and select the receipient type as EMAIL ID and then determine the email ID dynamically prior to the mail step and store it in a container element.
and assign this contianer element in the place of recepient address...
The other way is create a zbor and create a method inside the same ZBor and call the Standard SAP FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 and populate the receivers table parameters by making the receiver type as U.

For this you need to approa ch your basis team to get confirmed whether the SCOT txn is confiured properly to send mails....
where can i start to send mail to outlook.?
When ever a mail is sent to external address then all the mails are displayed in the txn SOST , once the respective mail is visible to you in this txn then you can send this by simply seletcing it and try to clcik the button execute..... IF all the SCOT txn are configure porperly , then your mail will besent to outlook address...

Windows 7 x64, Outlook 2010 and iCloud configuration - error "Outlook configuration problem"

I'm running Windows 7 x64
I had iCloud 1.x working with Outlook 2007 x32. A few months back I upgraded to Office 2010 x64, which (of course) broke the iCloud integration. I've waited for the "fix", and have now tried to get it working again with iCloud 2.11. I've tried repairing, I've uninstalled/reinstalled iCloud, I've set different default profiles, I've changed mail accounts...nada.
No matter what I do, when I get to the point of opening up the iCloud configuration and try to set up Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc. I immediately get the following error:
"Outlook configuration problem.
Setup can't continue because Outlook isn't configured to have a default profile. Check your Outlook settings and try again."
Any suggestions?

Regarding the issue here, Please first take an attempt to repair your Outlook personal folder file (.pst) :

We might also take a try to reinstall the Windows Search feature:
If your installation of Windows Search got damaged, we can remove and reinstall it in the following way.
Control Panel-> Programs-> Turn Windows features on or off
Deselect: Windows Search
Press OK and wait until the installer is finished.
Reboot your computer.
Repeat the above steps to enable it again.
If still have troubles with outlook search, we may need to take a look in the Event Viewer and look for any errors logged by the “Search” or “Microsoft Outlook”, And if they are not helpful to you, please post them back in together
and we will help you troubleshoot it.

ITunes keeps opening MS Outlook configuration each time I try to sync...

This is ultra annoying, iTunes keeps re-opening the MS Outlook mailbox configuration wizard over and over as it tries to sync. I don't use MS Outlook at all (I have it installed but don't use it). iTunes is not configured to sync anything with Outlook (the only thing that gets sync'ed are contacts with Google, everything else is unchecked).
Any tips or suggestions?

Please configurer SMTP then you will get the alerts to your out look.

How to migrate Outlook configuration to Office 365

As we plan our migration to Office365/Exchange Online, I am getting asked questions about the user Outlook profiles. We have users that make extensive use of categories, folder views, rules, etc. In addition, we have a custom Outlook toolbar that is part
of our default image. Can anyone tell me if these items get migrated using the standard Office 365 migration wizard? If they don't is there a way to migrate or export/import this information?

According to your description, I want know the configuration of Outlook after migrate Exchange 2010 to Exchange Online.
If I misunderstand your concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Mailbox database will be moved to Office 365, also the mailbox content. The Outlook client can use SCP and DNS record get autodiscover service, then connect to Exchange server and auto-configure Outlook profile. However, dumpster content and old message
missing after migrate to Office 365, please refer to below link and work it out:

For POP3 and IMAP account, and they may not remain the copy in Exchange server, we need to import .pst file to Exchange server. For your reference:

Outlook configuration for Exchange online kiosk plan

We have to use POP3 to setup Outlook when you want configure Exchange Online Kiosk in Outlook 2007/2010, and Outlook 2013.

Outlook configuration problem

When trying to sign out of my icloud control panel, I am receiving the message: Set up cant continue because outlook isn't configured to have a default profile. Check your outlook settings and try again. I don't have outlook, never have. Can anyone help??

Outlook Configuration in Business One

Dear Experts,
We have SAPConnect(SCOT) for connecting SAP with OUTLOOK in SAP R/3.
Now in standard Bussiness one is there any provision for connecting with outlook.
If it does not exist in standard Business one then I suppose we should have addon for Outlook.If so then can anyone give a link which explains the addon of outlook config.
Please help as i have to give presentation to a Client by end of today.

I have outlook configured and it gives an error trying to sync on my computer

This started today. When I attempt to sync email in outlook. I get an error. says unable to sync at this time. I am unable to open any message in my inbox or reply to any message. Error 0x800CCC05.

I have been having the same issue. I called Apple support who had no status on any issues - but lots of user communities are noting the same issue.
It appears to be an issue with the IMAP server. Apple's only response was to use the iCloud control panel. This is ridiculous, because I only want to access my icloud email from outlook. The control panel will sync contacts, calendar, etc. which cannot happen on my work PC.
Has Apple dropped IMAP support? The support guy I talked to was unsure.
This is a big issue.

BODS 3.1 :SMTP configuration to send email for success or failure of job

I did not find a complete set of information as things to do (for a person who is new to BODS).
Hence sharing the workflow which works for me when tested on a simple workflow :
Pre-requisite : SMTP service to be made available on the BODS server and port 25 to be opened up.
This is done by the IT dept of the company.
When smtp service is activated and port 25 is opened up, telnet IP address 25 should say, service is available.
Suggestion : create a email group like : bods at company.com which can be used to be used for the BODS JOBs. Which does not prompt for a password. This also is done by the IT dept of the company.
1) On the BODS server :
1) Click open Data Services Server Manager
2) SMTP settings for smtp_to functions :
Add the IP Address of the SMTP server
Add the email address of the sender. Eg. bodsjobs at companyname,com
3)Apply/Restart the server.
2) Login to BODS Designer :
Create a test job :
TRY ==>DF===> Script for success ===> CATCH script for failure
In the script for success : add the following :
print (' IN TRY BLOCK Before email ' );
smtp_to('bodsjobs at abc,com', ' SUCCESS OF JOB : '
|| job_name(),'Job completed successfully ', 0, 0);
print('After Email ');
In the script for Catch add the following :
print (' IN CATCH BLOCK Before email ' );
smtp_to('bodsjobs at abc,com', 'FAILURE OF JOB : '
|| job_name(),
error_number( ) || 'Error message: ' || error_message( ) ||
'check details', 50, 50);
print('After Email ');
Note : In the catch : select all exceptions on the check box.
Save all.
Click on the job and say execute.
The job will run and if it is successful. You will receive the succes mail.
If there is any error in the DF before the catch, you will receive a mail, which says failure.
The above workflow, when tested atleast works for me.

Am really not aware as to how to make things work from the console.
I work on windows environment both at client and on the server.
It looks like you got a bit confused on suggestion of a email group account.
I never did anything on outlook configuration for activation of smtp for bods.
I think you should not mess with outlook.
I dont know from the client side how things work.
But i have worked directly on the BODS server where the bods installation was done.
It is relatively very simple to do and to test.
But to even test why you get that error.
All you need is just a email id. Which could be yours ???
Put your email id as the source of email in that box in the job server.
And put only your email id in smtp_to and test it.
Run a test job. If it completes successfully. You will receive a mail.
In the catch, if you have checked all the boxes for error capture,
if the job fails, it would throw a dump of the errors in the email.
Once everything works well and you receive emails for any jobs you are running.
Then you could decide for the source of your email id and for the receipients of your emails of the jobs.
You could put a group id of your team as source. And also in smtp_to script in case you want everyone to receive the alert that the job has been done or it has errors.
Or include only those email ids in the smtp_to whom you feel, should receive the mail.
Hope this idea helps.
Please dont mess with outlook for any smtp activation for bods.
It is not required if you are working on a windows environment.
You just need a email id for testing.
Outlook configuration does not come into picture at all.
if there is any other unix environment involved. I have no idea.
And i really do not know how things would be from a client side to configure.
Server configurations i do from the server.
I did all configurations on the main server machine. Not from the client.
And I have only one job server so i did everything there.
I did not do anything from management console.
I use management console only for monitoring of jobs on a daily basis, the dashboard which gives you details of the data pulled, time taken etc etc.

Outlook Calendar Does Not Sync

My client has a BB 9780 and has successfully synced Outlook 2007 Contacts & Calendar for the past 2 years. A couple of days ago the calendar on the BB was blank after doing a sync. Contacts update OK but no calendar.
I ran the latest Desktop Manager update today and on the initial attempt to sync got a "CRADSDatabase ERROR 5032". Tried syncing again and get "Record with given Id exists already" and no calendar on the BB.
Searched the forums and saw several references to recurring appointments being an issue so the client deleted all of the recurring appts but still no calendar sync.
Anyone encountered this issue or have any suggestions?

Outlook calendar does not sync some entries

Hi
Using latest iOS on iPad 2.
Servers are running Exchange 2007, Activesync with network (over the air) synchronisation (not USB) to iPad and iPhone devices.
Outlook 2007 on PC, Windows XP SP2.
The Outlook Calendar does not reliably sync new and changed appintments to the iPad calendar in some cases. There does not appear to be a specific pattern to the problem.
Any pointers to where to start troubleshooting this?

Outlook Calendar does not Sync Changed Appointments

I have noticed that when synching my BB calendar to Outlook 2003, all new/deleted appointments are propertly synched, but an old appointment that was changed (ie date change) is not updated so they continue to appear in the original date/time in Outlook while the BB shows it at the new amended date/time. Any thoughts on what is wrong or how to remedy this problem?
